501  Other / Meta / Re: PM restriction for new accounts is needed on: January 28, 2015, 04:20:45 PM
The evil part of me wants to start a dialog with them and play along until the day I take their precious and use it to fund a crypto class for cops.   Cool

These fake accounts never converse with any user. They're simply created to fire off a PM to one or more potential victims and are immediately abandoned, never to be logged in with again. They just sit back and hope somebody send to their Bitcoin address.
502  Other / Meta / Re: PM restriction for new accounts is needed on: January 28, 2015, 04:12:34 PM
I get 5-10 PMs a week from newbies / literally just signed up accounts asking legitimate questions or asking for help. These are accounts that more often then not become useful members of the community. You can't paint everyone with the same brush.
Is there a reason why they can post the question publicly?
503  Other / Meta / PM restriction for new accounts is needed on: January 27, 2015, 08:06:34 PM
Seems like every day I'm hearing about brand new accounts with names very similar to long-standing trusted accounts who are PM'ing people about offers to buy/sell coins. Examples:

1. sndvb impersonating shdvb
2. Blaizedout419 impersonating Blazedout419
3. deuthedev impersonating devthedev
4. dooqlas impersonating dooglas
5. 0gNazty impersonating OgNasty

The list goes on ad nauseum. They'll PM a new user with an offer that's too good to pass up, dropping a link to the real user's trusted profile. I can't help but think that there are actually people who fall for this.

So can we revisit the idea of putting some sort of time/Activity-based restriction on new users with regard to sending PMs at least?

Lemme guess: OP won't use escrow and buyer must send PayPal first.

Am I getting warm??

507  Other / Meta / Re: Tomatocage is trust abuser/lier on: January 23, 2015, 08:18:30 PM
Thanks guys. For further clarity about V.Kodoff, he was in talks with with a newbie user who was selling some BTC. The newbie actually did some homework and sent me his coins to hold in escrow pending him finding a buyer for them, and that's when he and V.Kodoff began negotiations. The newbie seller had to create a brand-new Skype account at V.Kodoff's behest and V.Kodoff was the only one to know of the newbie's Skype name. The newbie informed me that he was immediately contacted by "live:arcusgoldsales" on Skype, at which point I looked it up and found quite a few scam accusations, so I advised him not to do business with V.Kodoff. So that, combined with the fact that he steadfastly refused to use escrow and insisted that the seller send the Bitcoins first pretty much drove the last nail into the coffin.

This kid is totaly retarded
After i show him how many feedback offsite i got offsite to realize his mistake,he still continue to fake lies and abusing the trust system.
If the moderators/escrows are as him, this community/forum is cancer.
He realized that he did mistake, and obviously i'n not only not a scammer but more trusted than him,he blocked the messages i can send to him.
He realize he did mistake but still don't want to remove it abusing the trusted system.
People like you is cancer to all online trading
How come escrows start lying and posting negative feedback randomly and abusing the trust system?
You know what carma is right? you will end someday poor and useless glassed fat scum begging for food in the street oneday
And i will still continue to be more trusted and 10000x more rich than you
Lets everyone see what a retarded cunt you are, accepting your mistake but still abusing the trust level.
Moderatos here are shits to trust you and to accept you as escrow consider you are lier.

P.S: Its not like i can't buy account for less than 30 dollars and continue my shits. But i don't like lying faggots like you.
Lets everyone see what escrow bitcointalk got and how he lying around

No, dipshit. The reason why you were flagged with negative trust is because you're a scammer, period. I gave you the benefit of the doubt once, and you blew it. You refused to use escrow and insisted that the buyer send first, and that's the reason why you have negative rep, and I advised him to NOT do business with you. Your live:arcusgoldsales Skype account comes up with multiple scam hits on Google and you're trying to play it off like "oh my Skype account got hacked 3 times", seriously?

Quote
P.S: Its not like i can't buy account for less than 30 dollars and continue my shits.

So you pretty much admit you're scamming then. Thanks for the clarification.

514  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be aware of this scammer WITH PAYSAFE EXCHANGE on: January 17, 2015, 03:45:36 PM
This user is spreading lies for me and my services in all forums around the internet. As you can see here: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=23936.0 he claims that he traded 3 x 50 cards with me, and at the same time he says he traded 2 x 50 cards with me in other forums like this one. I never dealt with this guy and I never make deals through skype at all (this is why the website exists).

Here is a proof of my official skype showing that I neither blocked him or ever talked with him:
http://puu.sh/ek9Ij/7e18fa862e.png

The question is why is this user doing that?
Well I can think of 2 options.

1) He is a competitor and he is trying to spread lies for me in order to ruin my business. Yes, it happens in a kid's world.

2) He got scammed by another guy who pretends to be paysafecardtopaypal.com I recently got a report from a skype account called: pscexchanger elitepvp who is using my business' logos in order to scam people.

In the end, I am willing to provide live proofs for anyone who is interested in through teamviewer. You can see the picture above but if you don't believe it I am willing to show it live. I never dealt with this guy and I would like assistance here since it's clearly unfair for someone like me who is doing legit business.

Regards,
Jackson

And there's the hail Mary for this scammer. One last ditch effort to grab your private keys through a Teamviewer connection, but I guarantee that pscexchanger will be abandoning that account now.

Nice work TC
This was actually my work thank you. I'm a longtime member who has been lurking around here. I was the one who proved that WorldWide BTC is Kruniac check the other thread, god I hate when Default Trust gets automatic credit for shit they don't deserve.

This is correct. All I did was copy/paste. BitcoinDistributor deserves the credit for this one. Thanks!
