If no, why not then give me half of your earnings?

Because you are making a logical mistake here. Why should I? You are transferring to a personal level a global market. When halving occurs, everything else, the rest of the Bitcoin economy, is indexed to that pretty quickly.

I won't be giving you half of my future BTC0.390625 per block earnings just the same as I won't be giving you half of my past BTC50 earnings.
BTC50 or BTC25 or BTC12.5 or BTC6.25 or BTC3.125 or BTC1.5625 or BTC0.78125 or BTC0.390625 ...

Okay, we are well past the 50 BTC reward, but may I hope that you will make do equally well with the remaining numbers right now?
I do. Thank you for your concern.  Cool

Some recent stats:

Since August last year Russia sent to Donbass 43 humanitarian aid convoys, with over 50 thousand tonnes of goods, mainly food from the Federal emergency reserves. Russia has also taken upon itself the support of the socially insecure groups of people in Donbass, paying pensions to the elderly and performing other social payments. This is done because Kiev continues to refuse to observe the economical part of the Minsk agreement, and has completely isolated Donbass from the rest of the Ukrainian economy.

In addition, children, who require urgent medical assistance either from being wounded from Ukrainian artillery or because of acute illness are taken to Russia for free medical treatment.
503  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin halving to be canceled? on: November 10, 2015, 08:21:23 PM
What?

Who has the most power over Bitcoin? Right, these are mining pools. Who is most interested in preserving the current block reward? The same mining pools...

Who gives a fuck what the pools do, it's what the miners do.

Mining pools act on behalf of the miners. Besides, do you understand that the miners will be the first to welcome the cancellation of halving?

No.

I've been mining since late CPU/early GPU days and still going strong. Been through the 50BTC->25BTC halving, when some of the same concerns were aired.

Once must understand that halving is an essential part of the Bitcoin protocol, aimed at approximating the natural increase in scarcity, observed in other money systems, like gold (as opposed to currencies, like dollar, which can be printed ad infinitum). Besides, Bitcoin is not about miners, it's about the ecosystem. You need bitcoins, go and ask for your salary being paid in them, or buy them.

BTC50 or BTC25 or BTC12.5 or BTC6.25 or BTC3.125 or BTC1.5625 or BTC0.78125 or BTC0.390625 ...

It ultimately does not matter as the market will correct for that (unless external forces manipulate the price, like they do with gold or oil prices).

Cancellation of halving (and acceptance of that by the majority vote of the miners) is exactly what may stop me from mining and walking away from Bitcoin, as that would signal that Bitcoin failed.

Looks like this thread is best place for the following:

Some info that may or may not be accurate. Sergej Mavrodi, the founder of a monetary pyramid MMM that stripped many Russians of their meagre savings during the Wild 90's is back in action. Yesterday he said that Bitcoin is useful for his MMM projects operating from China, and that he can crash the price at any moment if he chooses to do so.

http://www.rbc.ru/finances/09/11/2015/564098689a794742da316379

I am not sure if what he says is 100% correct or if he draws attention to himself, but I wouldn't underestimate his ignominious "talent" for parting people with their money. To put things into perspective, compared to Mavrodi and his MMM, Karpeles and Mt.Gox was an exemplary honest company headed by a charitable founder.

Personally, I'd rather see BTC at 250 without Mavrodi, than at 500 with him.

About an hour ago Ukro-Nazis, aka "Ukrainian Armed Forces" resumed shelling of the Northern residential districts of the city Donetsk (thus violating the Minsk-2 agreement). In their renewed war crimes Ukros use mortars, grenade launchers and firearms.

A quote from the following article answers the above question:

https://futuristrendcast.wordpress.com/2014/08/15/is-putin-part-of-nwo/

Quote
The Euroclear Hoax, or how Belgium acquired over $200bln in US Treasuries overnight

...

Dr. Paul Craig Roberts (Reagan’s Asst Treasury Secretary and Father of Reaganomics), who knows a thing or two about US economic policy, believes that these $200bln in US bonds are the hidden purchase by the US FED, camouflaged as another country’s independent acquisition. Of course it’s not fooling anyone as this amount constitutes 1/2 of the entire GDP of Belgium and therefore couldn’t have happened with the Belgian funds. Dr. Roberts further believes that ‘a COUNTRY with large US bond holdings’ has dumped a significant portion of its holdings in the market, and that the FED had no choice but to buy them up to avoid the run on the US bonds.

Meanwhile, Belgians believe that the $200bln in US bonds came to them via Russia. When I first heard this news, I initially thought that Russia had to park the US bonds in her possession in Belgium, where US wouldn’t get its hands on them if it decided to sanction Russia further. But the more I thought about it, the more I saw a completely different picture emerging:

The FED had to urgently purchase a large amount of the US bonds dumped by another country – and this country is Russia. After threats of financial sanctions, Russia dumped on the market about $104bln in US bonds and the FED had to pick them up, passing this amount, plus additional Treasury quantities, to Belgium to avoid crashing the US bond market if it became known Russia was dumping. Russia is SELLING US bonds – not buying!

Why did Russia agree to keep quiet about it? This would be in the realm of politics, is much as economics. In exchange for keeping quiet, Russia would obviously get something, like the US and EU paying for part of the Ukraine multi-billion gas debt to Gazprom, or a better deal on these bonds than expected, as a couple of examples.

While the attention is on Syria, Egypt and the USNATO's going out of their way to whitewash ISIS and put the blame on Russia for fighting international terrorism, the UkroNazis are again making a creeping move.

Residents of Gorlovka reported yesterday that UkoNazi Grad artillery again started shelling their city. There are also reports of pulling or Ukrainian artillery towards Donetsk.

I want to share with you all the ongoing Open All-Russian Competition of Young Talents, “Sinjaja Ptitsa” (“Blue Bird”):

http://ptica.tv

The kids, performing at this competition are fabulous, and their performances would at times be difficult for an experienced artist. Two of the kids from each show are voted by jury to go to the grand finale, while the other kids are selected by the people’s votes through Internet.

And what’s best, the performances do not require one to know Russian, they are accessible to every human being, they speak the international language of dance, music, song, acrobatics.

Below are some clips of the performances from the first airing that especially caught my attention; more performances can be found following in the thumbnails under the video frame:

An urgent alert about a possible coming false flag in Syria

http://rg.ru/2015/11/02/saakashvili.html

The article above publishes some intercepted conversations by Saakashvili, the governor of Odessa and the internationally wanted by Georgia former president of said country. The conversation was recorded in the airport of Istanbul, Turkey.

In one conversation he advises on how to stage a bloody "maidan" in Tbilisi, with a sacrificial murder of a woman with a child and a lot of MSM attention around it.

In the other, he speaks about sending a group into Syria with a task of shooting down an American fighter, the captured pilot of which would later place the blame on Russia, and a return shooting down of a Russian plane as if by Kurds. And again with a lot of MSM attention. The goal is to pit USA against Russia. Saakashvili said that McCain has great expectation to this operation, as "Obama would not move his butt without something like this, what with the coming elections."

The best way to prevent a false flag is to spread info about it!

EDIT: Added a translated article in english:

514  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Did Israel just shot-down a Russian passenger plane on: November 02, 2015, 01:21:58 PM
This was most probably a technical failure - the plane was an old machine, which already sustained damage to its tail part during its service. Most probably a case of a budget airline being too "budget".

Too early to say and to place the blame. Give it a month (not a year, like in MH-17 case!) to decode the recorders and to analyse the evidence.
515  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Child kidnapping by the Norwegian State on: October 31, 2015, 10:50:18 PM
And some good (yet mixed) new relating to the case in the OP, with which I started this thread.

http://www.murmansk.kp.ru/daily/26412/3286247/

Little Oscar was returned to his family (and, conversely, the family was returned to Oscar). It happened around 28th of July this year, after the boy was hidden away in a "foster" family for 10 months.

But, the family decided to stay in Norway and will not be taking their child to Murmansk. The article above angles the case as follows: Barnevern graciously decided to return the child to his parents, despite what the court ruling (not to return) seemed to indicate. I really hope that the decision to stay will not prove to be a tragic one in the future...

What these 10 months of separation has done to the 6-year-old kid, is that he started to forget Russian language. The mother's sister said that during a Skype meeting the child had difficulty understanding her, and that the parents even had to translate for him at times. It seems that Oscar will be learning Russian anew together with his little sister. The aunt, with whom little girl was living during this time, says that the little girl remembers the day when her brother was taken away, how three women came, and how her mother was crying. The aunt considers taking the girl to Norway so that she'll reunite with her brother again. (I hope this will not lead to dire consequences for both!)

Turn to page 10 of the following report from Norwegian Statistics Agency and study diagrams 2.2 and 2.3. The numbers are based on 2009 data.
http://www.ssb.no/a/publikasjoner/pdf/rapp_201139/rapp_201139.pdf

These diagrams show the number of children under Barnevern "measures", divided by country of origin. Diagram 2.2 shows children, who were born outside of Norway, while diagram 2.3 shows children, who were born in Norway, but who have one or both foreign national parents.

The number in parenthesis is the total number of children from this or that county. While the bars represent the number of children per 1000.

Serbian delegation to Crimea, headed by the president of the Serbian patriotic movement "Dveri" (Doors), reacted to the Ukrainian note of protest by saying: In Serbian view Crimea is Russia, just like Kosovo is Serbia, and in this the views of the movement do not coincide with the official government view of Serbia.

He is right in that Kosovo is a historical core heartland of Serbia. Shortly before USNATO started the invasion, bombing and destruction of Yugoslavia, scores of Albanians relocated to Kosovo. This was later used by USNATO as a justification for violation of the Yugoslavian sovereignty.
519  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Empire -- RSFSR under USSR -- Russian Federation on: October 24, 2015, 05:37:56 PM
I wrote the following piece as a follow-up on a note abut the invasion and subsequent destruction of Yugoslavia by USNATO. I called it the murdered elephant in the room, which the Western media does not want to notice. Here is another such elephant:

... I want to add another dead elephant in the room, an event that few in the West speak of, or even know about. Yet destruction of Yugoslavia ties directly with this event. It happened between the 21st of September and the 5th of October 1993. Back then, the Western MSM praised this event as the ultimate defence of the young Russian democracy, while in reality, it was the exact opposite.

At that time Russian Parliament, seeing where Yeltsin was steering the country, was preparing to pass impeachment of the President. It is a completely democratic process, designed to balance the presidential power and to trigger a preliminary election. Yeltsin’s reaction was all but democratic.

He passed directive #1400, disbanding the Parliament. When the Parliament refused to comply, he (with the backing of the “well-wishers” from across the pond) ordered army into the streets of Moscow. The Parliament building and the TV tower Ostankino were surrounded. People went out to the streets to defend the Parliament. Then there came the terrible order to open fire. People were shot down by concentrated machine gun fire from armoured vehicles, the Parliament was shelled from tanks.

Here is a footage of the shelling of the Parliament:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbGJkoc3JLI

The exact number of victims of the 1993 massacre is unknown – most documents from that time were destroyed – but is officially estimated to be approximately 200. According to the analysis in the following article (in Russian), the numbers may have been a magnitude higher.

http://www.km.ru/v-rossii/2012/10/04/istoriya-rossiiskoi-federatsii/693919-4-oktyabrya-1993-goda-vlast-ustroila-boiny

The massacre also marked the descent of Russia into a period of near-destruction, a period of lawlessness and dismemberment of the industry and defence. A period, known in Russia as “The Wild 90s”. An example of the desolation of Russia can be gleaned from an article that I translated a while back:

http://stanislavs.org/for-russia-90s-were-worse-than-wwii/

Russia became totally incapacitated, which, in turn allowed USNATO in 1999 to start an unpunished invasion of Yugoslavia, not fearing any opposition. And even then, some politicians in Russia tried to show protest. When USA started the bombings, Russian Foreign Minister Prjamakov was en route to USA on a diplomatic mission. Upon hearing of the news, he ordered that the plane be turned back right over the Atlantic Ocean in protest.

A link to the excerpt from the book “The Forgotten Victims of 1993”:
http://oct1993.narod.ru/doc/zabyitie_zhertvi.htm
It contains many witness descriptions of the executions of the defenders (even those, who were unarmed, already wounded or surrendered), and later falsification of the numbers of the murdered people.

From the site above, there is an interesting document by parliamentary Andronov, who from the besieged Parliament, on the day before the massacre conducted negotiation with representatives of the AMERICAN embassy, trying to prevent the bloodshed. Americans anyway gave the order to open fire, he says, adding that the bloodshed in Moscow in 1993 was directly authorised by Clinton.
http://oct1993.narod.ru/doc/14.doc

Doesn’t it feel on some level like the coup d’etat in Ukraine in 2014?

This bit of neglected/forgotten history is very important to remember an understand both for the Western and for the Russian audience alike. That event does bare a lot of similarities to the US-staged coup d'etat in Ukraine last year, with the difference that in the 1993 Russia USA were protecting their asset/puppet Yeltsin from losing power, while in Ukraine they were installing puppet Poroshenko into power.

The 1993 massacre was in a way the second colour revolution Russia suffered during the 20th century, the first one being in February 1917. An it explains current loathing of Russians toward the openly stated USA's goal of replacement of leadership in Russia. The blood from the previous such "democratisation" has still not been washed away from the collective memory.
520  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was shot down by an air-to-air missile on: October 16, 2015, 06:34:51 PM
Quote
When I read that the report on the downing of the Malaysian airliner over Ukraine was being
put in the hands of the Dutch, I knew that there would be no investigation and no attention to the facts.

And there wasn’t.

I did not intend to write about the report, because Washington’s propaganda has already succeeded, at least in the Western world, in its purpose of laying the blame on Russia. However, the misrepresentation of the Dutch report by Western media, such as NPR, is so outrageous as to make the media the story and not the report.

For example, I just heard NPR’s Moscow correspondent, Corey Flintoff, say that the missile that hit the airliner was fired by Ukrainian separatists who lack the technical ability to operate the system. Therefore, the missile had to have been fired by a Russian.

There is nothing in the Dutch report whatsoever that leads to this conclusion. Flintoff either is
incompetent or lying or he is expressing his view and not the report’s conclusion.

The only conclusion that the report reaches is one that we already knew: if a Buk missile brought down the airliner, it was a Russian-made missile. The Dutch report does not say who fired it.

Indeed, the report places no blame on Russia, but it does place blame on Ukraine for not closing the airspace over the war area. Attorneys have stated in response to the report that families of those killed and the Malaysian airline itself are likely to file lawsuits against Ukraine for negligence.

Of course, there was nothing of this in Flintoff’s report.

As I wrote at the time of the airliner’s destruction, the Western media already had “the-Russians-did-it” story ready the moment the airliner was reported to be shot down. This story was very useful to Washington in hardening its European vassal states into sanctions against Russia, as there was some dissent. What Washington has never explained and the Western media has never asked is: What motive did separatists and Russia have to shoot down a Malaysian airliner?

None whatsoever. The Russian government would never allow such a thing. Putin would have immediately strung up those responsible.

Washington’s story makes no sense whatsoever. Only an idiot could believe it.

What motive did Washington have? Many. The demonization of Russia made it impossible for
European governments to resist or abandon the economic sanctions that Washington is using to
break economic and political relationships between Europe and Russia.

The Russian manufacturer of the Buk missile has proven that if a Buk missile was used, it was an old version that exists only in the Ukraine military. For some years the Russian military has been equipped with a replacement version that has a different signature in its destructive impact. The damage to the Malaysian airliner is inconsistent with the destructive force of the Buk missile in Russian service. The reports were given to the Dutch, but no effort was made to replicate and verify the validity of the tests conducted by the manufacturer of the missile. Indeed, the Dutch report does not even consider whether the airliner was downed by Ukrainian fighter jets. The report is as useless as the 9/11 Commission’s report.

Don’t expect any acknowledgement of this by the Western media, a collection of people who lie for a living.
