41  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 92 feared dead as Russian plane with military band crashes en route to Syria on: December 29, 2016, 07:18:23 PM
The Russian mentality needs to be changed. They are trying to save money, by using outdated and inoperable aircraft. Too many crashes are occurring recently. Just a few days back, one of their aircraft crashed in to Tiksi.

That can be so sad, if true. Maybe they are still harboring some kind of mentality dating back to the Cold War era. We are now modern times so they should upgrade to avoid the same incident again from happening. WE are talking of lives here that can not be taken back once they are gone for good.

We never hear about similar incidents in the Western nations. Even third world nations such as China and India have moved ahead of Russia as far as aircraft safety is concerned.

The above is trying to belittle the Russian reviving airplane industry in general. Tu-154, like any plane undergoes constant modernisation, with newer technology applied in newer editions. If you say the above about TU-154, then you with even greater vigour should be saying the same about Boeing and its 737 (remember the crash of FlyDubai's Boeing 737-800 at Rostov-on-Don on the 19th of March this year?), which is even worse off.
Tu-154 still has over 230 operational planes and has an average crash rate of 1 per 1 million flying hours.
Source: http://www.fearofflying.com/resources/safest-airliners-and-airline-safety.shtml

The liner that crashed in Tiksi was, indeed, an old IL-18. It is out of production and only a few are still flying for the military.

As for the general state of affairs, Russia is returning back, after a tremendous, near-death setback of the country in the Wild 90s. Also, when speaking about the number and frequency of the crashes, take into account the size of the country and the number of flights, as well as the fact that many of the remote regions are mostly reachable only by air transport.

So, when saying "too many crashes", please quantify "too many".

Take the following list, for example:
Civilian aerial disasters in Russia by year (in Russian - if you want to read it, use http://translate.yandex.com/ which is far better at translating Russian into English than Google, i.e. makes far fewer mistakes)

For 2016, 30 are listed in total, including helicopters, agricultural planes and small private 1-motor planes. In addition to Russian models, the list includes such makes as Eurocopter, Boeign, Bell, Robinson, Enstrom, Cessna.

Please find a similar list for the USA and multiply the number there by at least 3 to make it comparable to Russia.

While the official Russian statements are very cautious, all but ruling out terrorism, I am not convinced. There are just too many coincidences here:
- Prior assassination of the Russian ambassador to Turkey,
- The symbolic significance of the passengers - the famoue and much-loved Aleksander Ensemble, and the humanitarian activist Doctor Liza
- The timing as the flight was intended to celebrate victory in Aleppo over the US-backed terrorists and the delivery of humanitarian aid to a Syrian hospital by Doctor Liza.
- Conflicting witness reports, describing a bright flash
- The fact that the plane was a high-profile one, and recently underwent full check.

The flight recorders have been recovered and it will take 10 days to decode them, while the final report with the analysis of the crash will be ready in a month.

In the meantime, in memory of the Aleksandrov Ensemble singers, I have translated a documentary about the ensemble. The documentary is from 2008, and it gives a very good impression of their history and national significance.

Very sad news on this day:

https://www.rt.com/news/371623-russian-tu-154-disappears-radars/

Quote
Rescue helicopters have discovered debris in the Black Sea from a Russian military transport plane which went off radar en route to Syria. Most of the passengers on the Tu-154 were members of the famous Alexandrov Ensemble army choir.

According to preliminary reports, the Tupolev transport plane had 92 people on board, including 84 passengers and eight crew members. It went missing over the Black Sea at 2:40 GMT shortly after refueling at an airport near Sochi.

Most of the passengers on board were members of the Alexandrov Ensemble, the official choir of the Russian Armed Forces, the Russian Defense Ministry said. They were travelling from Moscow to the Russian military base Khmeimim near Latakia, Syria to take part in a Christmas celebration with troops deployed there. The head of the choir, conductor and composer Valery Khalilov, is among the 65 members of the ensemble presumed dead in the accident.

Crews from Channel One Russia, NTV, and Zvezda (the official media outlet of the Russian Defense Ministry), each with three members, were on board as well, the outlets confirmed.

The passenger list released by the defense ministry also includes Elizaveta Glinka, a prominent charity activist and humanitarian worker. She is best known by her blogger nickname “Doctor Liza.” Some reports initially said she may have deplaned in Sochi, but the Presidential Council for Human Rights confirmed that she was on board.

Glinka was best known for aiding children with serious conditions like cancer, homeless people, and other vulnerable individuals. In the past few years, she organized humanitarian missions to conflict zones, including eastern Ukraine and Syria. For her efforts, she was awarded the Order of Friendship in 2012, the fifth highest state award in Russia.

Helicopters dispatched from Sochi to search for the aircraft have discovered the crash site, the ministry reported.

“Hull fragments of the Tu-154 plane operated by the Defense Ministry have been found about 1.5 km off the Black Sea coast of Sochi at a depth of 50-70 meters,” the ministry said in a statement.

So far, no survivors have been found in the sea, local rescue services told Interfax.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has been informed of the plane’s crash, the Kremlin said.

Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrey Karlov Assassinated in Ankara! Cui Bono?
https://futuristrendcast.wordpress.com/2016/12/19/breaking-russian-ambassador-to-turkey-karlov-killed-in-ankara-qui-bono/

Quote
The embassy row in Ankara, Turkey, is located near the government buildings, with the Russian embassy located very close to the US embassy. It is supposedly a heavily guarded, high security area; therefore, ambassadors themselves don’t carry much security.

This happens just one day before Turkish FM is scheduled to go to Moscow. This also happens as Russia attempts to enlist Turkey and Erdogan as mediators to help resolve the Syria and Aleppo crisis and to help convince some of the militants Turkey influences to lay down arms and/or withdraw from the area.

It is clear that the attack is designed to sabotage Russia-Turkey negotiations, rekindle distrust and animosity, and put a stop to the renewed Turkish Stream project.

CUI BONO?

First, who doesn’t benefit? Turkey and Erdogan, who just got the relations with Russia going again. After the downing of the Russian Su24 jet and killing of the Russian pilot, the relations soured, Russian tourism, imports and economic cooperation were withdrawn, creating massive crisis in Turkish economy. Russia also withdrew the Turkish Stream and Akkuyu nuclear plant projects.

After Putin helped Erdogan avert the CIA-organized military coup and Erdogan apologized for the Su24 incident, relations began to mend. The re-opening of the Russian tourism was announced and the Turkish Stream and Akkuyu nuclear plant projects are again a go.

At the same time, Turkey’s ambivalent role and contradictory actions in Syria have continued. Part of it is due to Erdogan’s war on Kurds, and part, the ‘protection of the so-called ‘Turkoman’ contingent, many of whom are part of the terrorist groups in Syria.

By inviting Turkey to play a mediator role and including Erdogan in the peace process in Syria, Russia attempts to change the game and shift the direction of Erdogan’s ambitions in the Middle East.

Ambassador Andrey Karlov was at the epicenter of these negotiations. It is clear that the forces who want to prevent the shift from happening are behind his killing. These same forces managed to derail cooperation and trust between Turkey and Russia by downing Su24 in 2015. Having succeeded then, they want to again try the same number.

The target is: sabotaging negotiations and reviving distrust. They hope that after the killing of the ambassador, Russia again withdraws from negotiations with Turkey on Syria. The game is even more insidious: those who organized this assassination also want Russia to withdraw YET AGAIN from the Turkish Stream.

Who benefits? This is the question we always have to answer in cases like this. Obviously, those who don’t want resolution of the Syria crisis, and those who don’t want Turkish Stream to go through.

These are ISIS and other extremist and militant Islamist groups in the Middle East. But it would be naive to think that such groups could easily infiltrate the high security government and embassy area. Someone who has easy access must help out.

What embassy is located next to the Russian ebassy? That of the USA. Who recently said that Trump is Putin’s agent; who has sour grapes after Russian wins in Syria, loss of their operatives and trained militans; who announced that Russians hacked into DNC and who is trying to push Hillary into the White House? The White House, Hillary/Soros/democrats, and the CIA: all those who are very well positioned to help out a willing terrorist, and who’ve been known to do so on many occasions.

There are also the following entities: Qatar, Saudi Arabia and, of course, the sold-out EU elites. Some, or all, of these are behind Karlov’s assassination.

There is also the issue of retaliation against Russia for the following:

1. Russian retaliation against the Aleppo Operations Room, executed after the US coalition attack on the Syrian army. Russian missile strike killed 30 Western, Israeli, Saudi, Qatari and Turkish officers, who were illegally directing the terrorist strikes against Syrian army.

2. As a result of the Syrian army liberating Aleppo, with Russian assistance, a number of Western coalition ISIS instructors and special troops were captured. Some of them were shown, with names announced – but not all. I got a word from the Russian side that some valuable US/Western assets have been kept behind the scenes as future bargaining chips. Details: Want to Support the Trump Electors? DNC Leak Source Angry Bernie Supporter, not Russia! Plus Aleppo Intel.

I would be amiss not to mention that the Kiev junta of Ukraine also benefits. After the Turkish Stream and Nord Stream 2 are finished, Ukraine will lose its Russian gas transiter status. This is also the reason the EU elites want to sabotage both Nord Stream and Turkish Stream.

FROM Lou at Tales from the Conspiratum & stuartjeannebramhall.com:

BREAKING: At Least 14 US Coalition Military Officers Captured by Syrian Forces in East Aleppo Bunker

DAMASCUS – According to two reports coming out of Aleppo today, at least 14 US Coalition military officers were captured this morning in an East Aleppo bunker by Syrian Special Forces.

This story was quietly leaked by Voltaire.net, who announced, “The Security Council is sitting in private on Friday, December 16, 2016, at 17:00 GMT, while NATO officers were arrested this morning by the Syrian Special Forces in a bunker in East Aleppo.”
Lada Ray’s intel on US coalition instructors in E. Aleppo & bombing of the Russian hospital:

After the bombing of the Russian hospital in Aleppo, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman came out and said point blank that intel and exact coordinates for the location of the makeshift mobile hospital were provided to ISIS terrorists by the US/ NATO forces.

To remind everyone: as a result of the improbably precise, considering the ISIS capability, bombing of the Russian mobile hospital, which only moved to that area a few hours prior, 2 Russian nurses were killed and 1 doctor wounded. Plus, at least 10 Syrians were killed, many of them children waiting to see a doctor, and dozens wounded.

The unusual precision with which the main tent of the hospital was hit – the only one filled with people at the tie – and the fact that the enemy fire was precision-corrected on the second strike, speak of the fact that advanced intel from NATO/US coalition was given to the terrorists.

Before the bombing of the Russian hospital Russians were willing to negotiate safe passage of what may amount to hundreds of US, UK, French and other Western instructors and special troops, locked up in E. Aleppo together with ISIS militants. After the bombing of the hospital, performed as a result of direct interference of the West, the decision was made NOT to allow any of them out. Instead it was decided that they would be captured and held by Syrian forces. If necessary, they would be publicly shown on TV to demonstrate to the world who was really behind the Syrian war.

Stealing Russian Treasure: Amsterdam Court Gives Crimean Scythian Gold to Kiev
https://futuristrendcast.wordpress.com/2016/12/14/stealing-russian-treasure-amsterdam-court-gives-crimean-scythian-gold-to-kiev/

Quote

The Court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has made a decision that Scythian gold, which was on loan from the Crimean museums to the Dutch museums in 2013-14, belongs to Ukraine. The gold has been taken out of Dutch museums and shipped off to an unknown location in 2014, after Crimea voted to re-join Russia.

The story of the Scythian Gold (Zoloto Skifov), with pics, in my video, Crimea Scythian Gold/ MH17/ Russian Sanctions: Global Consequences (LadaRayLive 1)

Natalya Poklonskaya, ex-Attorney General of Crimea and Russian Duma Deputy, called the Amsterdam decision a thievery. She promised the decision would be appealed by the Crimean museums.

Natalya Poklonskaya: ‘Amsterdam court is hardly impartial. This illegal decision will be contested. It’s comparable to a highway robbery.’

The famous Zoloto Skifov – Scythian Gold – was discovered in 19th century by the Russian archeologists in Russian Crimea.

It has nothing to do with the present day Kiev junta and today’s ukro-nazi ‘Ukraine,’ which denies any connection to Russia. In 19th century, when the gold was dicovered, Crimea was a part of Russia. Therefore, the decision clearly has no connection to fairness and law. It is a politicized act, designed to yet again punish Russia.

The only goal such actions by the Netherlands achieve is creating an Iron Curtain and putting a damper on any sort of cultural and museum exchanges. I can’t imagine Russians ever allowing their treasures out of the country again, under such circumstances.

But I’ll tell you more: the fact that the decision has suddenly passed now – after over 2 years of delays – has the fingerprints of Soros, Obama, Clinton, Merkel, Holande and the entire crumbling neo-liberal NWO clique all over. The Scythian Gold number is one of their last-ditch, desperate, efforts to create an irreconcilable rift between Russia and various Western countries.

The same is done in a hurry by Obama/Soros/Clinton in the US. The US elites are doing everything to create as many obstacles as possible for the future US president’s attempts to work with Russia. As I predicted in EARTH SHIFT REPORT 16: US ELECTIONS & WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER, the goal is to tie up Trump and to put him in a straight jacket of legal traps and time-bombs, as well as distrust and sour grapes, so he would not be able to improve US-Russia relations by much, despite his best efforts (look for my upcoming Trump/Electoral College prediction video for more!).

The same process is underway in the EU. But the only thing they will be able to achieve is prolonging the agony of the Western NWO project.

...

Oh, and the Scythian gold is the property of the Crimean Museums, so what the Amsterdam court sanctioned is, indeed, a theft.

It will tell you in the crazy house. Open the world map and look at the Ukraine. And the number of deaths that occurred in Ukraine due to the Soviet Union you forgot to remember? And we remember!

I presented the maps, so I it's not my problem that you cannot read them.
As for the deaths as the direct result of the descruction of Russia - the Civil War, and the subsequent harsh measures by Stalin to push through industialisation (together with misplaced colelctivisation). Ukraine somehow feels the need for entitlement to be the sole martyr of that time. Yet Russia lost more people during the famine (when the "brotherly West" refused to sell technology for gold and demanded payments in wheat, inducing the famine) - especially in the central and Siberian areas. I remember - my great-grandmother died of famine in that period.

25th Anniversary of Destruction: USSR Breakup and its Fallout
https://futuristrendcast.wordpress.com/2016/12/09/25th-anniversary-of-destruction-ussr-breakup-and-its-fallout/

Quote
Today, December 8, 2016, the world marks 25th anniversary of the event the vast majority of the Russian World considers a tragic date. On December 8, 1991 leaders of three Slavic Soviet Republics, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine, called the Three Sisters, signed the infamous Belovezhskaya Pushcha Accords, which effectively dissolved the USSR, establishing instead the still-born Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The accords sanctified what Putin later called ‘the largest humanitarian catastrophe of the second half of the 20th century.’

The internet, Russian and post-Soviet media have been flooded with various videos and articles, which explain and judge, from their point of view, the events of that day. Many still try to come to terms and understand what happened; many have condemned this day and those who signed the breakup: Russian SSR head Boris Yeltsin, Ukrainian SSR head Shevchuk and Belorussian SSR head Shushkevich.

Between December 7 and 8, 1991, the host of the secret event, Shushkevich, received the other two at his Belovezhskaya Pushcha hunting residence. The gathering and the document signed were so hush-hush that to type up the text of the breakup agreement the trio needed to bring in a typist from the nearby village, along with her typing machine.

Shushkevich later recalled that as soon as the three shook hands, Yeltsin called the US President George Bush. He reported (!): ‘We did it. The USSR is dead.’ But none of the three called legal head of the Soviet Union, President Gorbachev.

Doing its job, Belorussian KGB found out about what amounted to treason, and reported the situation to Moscow. Gorbachev told them to await his command and do nothing. The command to arrest the conspirators never arrived. Four days later, Gorbachev resigned his post as the first and only president of the USSR.

How different the fates of the three signatories of the USSR breakup have been!

Yeltsin is no longer living; in 1999, he publicly apologized to the Russian people for everything he’d done and named Putin as his successor.

Kravchuk, using his position as the first president of Ukraine, managed to steal many millions, but nothing like today’s oligarchs. The ex-leader of the Communist Party of Ukraine, he betrayed his party and his people and turned into a prime Russophobe, creating, with Soros financing, the first version of falsified Ukrainian history – but again, nothing like today’s Kiev junta. Kravchuk continues living very comfortably in today’s ukro-nazi version of Ukraine, which he supports.

Shushkevich still lives in Belarus, hated by his country’s citizens and afraid to show up in public. Belarus President Lukashenko personally authorized the pension for Shushkevich, as ex-president of Belarus, in the amount of… $1.

The condemnation and demands for trial have been leveled against the three Belovezhskaya Pushcha signatories. The accusations of treason are also leveled against then president of the USSR, Mikhail Gorbachev. Gorbachev has been the darling of the West, rewarded many times over for his role in the USSR breakup and many disastrous for Russia political decisions. Hated by many Russians, today, he spends his time justifying his actions in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

As if there was not, but "Azov" fighting against the external enemy. They are protecting Ukraine from Russian invaders. And what does the territory of Russia Kadyrov You forgot that he cut the throat of Russian soldiers?

Ooo... We have a troll (was was it piktsy?) infestation here.

Now, the following is for the benefit of other readers - as I said on many similar occasions before - these trolls are beyond any hope of redemption.

What kind of invisible and inept "Russian invaders" they are that they manage to mop-up Syrian terrorists, but totally fail to materialise in Donbass - so much so that Azov need to channel their own aggression though shelling of residential outskirts of Donetsk an Lugansk? You hoax of "Russian aggression" could have been swallowed by the gullible people without knowledge of the local situation in 2014. Now you resemble the boy who cried wolf - for over 2 years strait.

What Ramzan Kadyrov, whose father was killed by externally financed terrorists, and who later managed to unify Chechenia within Russia, has to do anything with this?

Russia has been trying (together with Germany and France) to force Poroshenko to take the path of peace through constitutional reforms and federalisation of the Ukrainian state. Poroshenko, on the other hand is interested in a slow-burning conflict as that gives him the excuse to channel the radical force's (who put him into power) aggression elsewhere so that they don't turn on him, and he retains his access to the dwindling state resource for personal gain. The radical forces - Azov being only one of those - are interested in an all-out war, as that will give them the opportunity to get to the only source of resources left in Ukraine - the presidential chair. Pososhenko has more and more difficulty in controlling the situation, as the recent provocations demonstrate. Expect Poroshenko to be gone (violently) in the coming 2-4 months, and possibly Yats again becoming the "human face to the West" of the new, more radical, regime.

Then, a bit of history:

I am more than sure that the trolls here can read the above, as they use Russian in their day-to-day communication. I will translate for the benefit of the reader:

Quote
Ukro-patriots. Learn this by heart. In 1922 Ukraine ascended into USSR without Harkov, without Herson, without Odessa and Donetsk, without Lugansk, and, of course, without Crimea. Ukraine even didn't have Lvov back then. All these lands Ukraine got while being a part of the "damned" USSR. For free.

Well, the year in the picture above is possibly off by 3 years, but the essence remains.

Here is the sequence of events from back then. This following is a quick translation by me of a reply in a discussion on a similar topic (sorry for the stylistics).

Quote
Everything is clear with the period of the Russian empire. No national republics existed before 1917. Further, after the revolution, on January 30, 1918 in Kharkov hotel "Metropol" there took place the 4th Regional Congress of Soviets of Workers' Deputies which initially proclaimed the creation DKR (Donetsk - Krivoy Rog Republic). But it was not enough to declare it creation, it is needed be reaffirmed, acknowledged, and not only orally, but de facto. After all, a war was going on, and there was chaos in the country. Nearby to the self-proclaimed DKR was just as equally self-proclaimed UPR (Ukrainian People's Republic) - a unit in the central part of the outskirts (Okraina - Ukraina) of the former Russian Empire, acting against the Soviet authorities.

And there lay the problem, because a few days before the official proclamation of the DKR, the UNR Central Council (with the center in Kiev) signed in Brest an anti-Russian treaty with Germany and Austria-Hungary, which allowed the entry of the Austro-German forces on its breakaway territory. Clearly they had no legal rights to do so, but in general they did 100 years ago exactly what they do now - lying down with pleasure and selling themselves to the West. At the same time, the UPR did not just ask the Germans for protection, but also gave away to the invaders of the West Polesie with the Belarusian people and Donbass itself, which the Ukrainian Parliament considered to be theirs, while the Petrograd and DKR itself considered themselves to be Soviet.

So, on one hand a unitarian Ukraine did not exist back then, but rather there were two conflicting with one another breakaway territories, and the other, at the beginning of March 1918 the Germans outright occupied Donbass, and without Russia, which later fought off the land from the enemy, they (Ukraine) would simply not come to pass. Let's continue.

Next, by the decision of Germany and Austria-Hungary, the wishing to be Soviet leadership of the not yet manifested Donetsk republic, was deposed and a commissioner was appointed - Hetman Skoropadsky. While the occupied -both UNR and DKR they called for Ukrainian State. Later, having renamed it to the Ukrainian People's Republic, they put in charge one of their own, the present "independence hero" Petliura, who under the auspices of the Germans, cut down all right, left and centre - both the partisans of Makhno, and the Reds, and the Whites, and the locals. After the defeat of Germany and its allies and the return of Donbass by the Soviet military into Russia, Stalin said: "There is no need and should be no separate Don-Kriv-Bass", and with that he annexed this territory to the formed at that time united Ukrainian SSR. But they (Donbass) initially did not want it! What does this mean? The fact that even the earliest Donbass, at the end of accession in 1922 was also presented the UkSSR (Ukraine) for free. Presented by Russia. Of which the image above speaks. Before the USSR, Ukraine did not have those territories. Just like Ukraine itself did not exist. A couple of months under the German occupation does not count.

Perhaps you are right in that it made sense to supplement the information in the picture that, Donbass was given to Ukraine by Russia in 1919, not in 1922, and I admit it, but this does not change the essence at hand.

Next, on March 10, 1919 3rd Congress of Soviets of the UkSSR took place in Kharkov, which declared the establishment of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic (SSR) as an independent state, the draft Constitution of the UkSSR was adopted. The congress approved the policy of the Ukrainian government on the comprehensive strengthening of relations with Soviet Russia. Thus, Ukraine acceded to the wishes of the other independent republics of the Soviets on the establishment of a union with them. And declared desire to become part of Russia. In their desires, they indicated that they consider their own administrative boundaries wherever Ukrainians lived - in Kiev, Kherson, Podolia, Volyn, Kharkov, Poltava, Chernigov, Ekaterinoslav and Tauride areas. But it's all wishing on paper, signed against the backdrop of a civil war and while the Soviet Russian military advanced into Ukraine returning native Russian land. At that time, the civil war in Ukraine was rapidly taking turn to our advantage (in favour of the Reds), and October 11, 1919 Red Army began the decisive offensive against Denikin Red - or in fact, the third attempt to establish the Bolshevik rule on the territory of the former Russian Empire outskirts (okrainas). On December 12th, Soviet troops entered Kharkov, on December 16 - Kiev, on February 7, 1920 - Odessa. Eastern Ukraine is almost completely taken over by the Bolsheviks at the end of December 1919, the central and right-bank Ukraine - by the beginning of 1920.

And only then began the territorial disputes of the Ukrainian SSR and the South-East of Russia. When liberated by Soviet warriors Ukraine, habitually wanted more for themselves, their appetite increased and raised the question of creation of their own Don province, in order to include it in the part of the Donets Coal Basin, which was a part of the Don region of Russia, and at the same time - Taganrog. However, since this issue was discussed in closed circles and without the consent of the administration of the Don Region, on the 17th of January 1920, Donetsk Revolutionary Governorship (Gubrevkom) of the city of Lugansk ordered "until the economic territory of the Donetsk province and the proper distribution of the province areas is clarified, to TEMPORARILY approve ... 11 administrative districts that make up the Donetsk province as described by UkSSR" including there also the territory of the Shakhty district - White-Kalitvensky, Bokovo-Hrustal'nyj, Alexander-Grushevsky areas and individual settlements of the Taganrog district.

I stress, temporarily. As long as the civil war continues.

But be that as it may, in April 1920, at the suggestion of the CPC of Ukraine and Presidium Council decided to establish the Donetsk province (governorship) of Ukraine from the parts of Kharkov, Ekaterinoslav provinces and regions of the Don Cossacks. From Ekaterinoslav province of Russia, Ukraine entirely got Bahmutskiy, Lugansk and Mariupol counties, and from the area of the Don Cossacks, again - Russian - all the Taganrog district, the villages of the district of Donetsk (Gundorovskaya, Kamensky, Kalitvenskaya, Ust-Belaya Kalitva). Lugansk became the centre of Donetsk province.

And this is another "gift" to Ukraine from Russia. But I say it again, it was initially a temporary one.

But in general, there is a visual infographics of the "gifts" by Russia to its Ukrainian republic.

I have a feeling that the last-ditch attempt of Ukro-tolling has been activated  Undecided

That usually happens before things take a turn for the worse. Anyone remembers Pagan? He was like a barometer: his activity increased shortly before an increase in the shelling of Donbass throughout 2014.

The latest intel from Ukraine suggests that Poroshenko is on the verge of being violently and terminally dislodged by the now-well-organised Ukrao-Nazi formations, especially the wing headed by Beletskij. The repeat of the free-for-all bandit wars of 1917-1918 is expected to start in a few months.

You know, you two, if you want to counter or bring across your points, at least try to write something that is coherent and that actually makes some sense.

Very good position! Initially, Russian troops bombed the city, and then as a humanitarian aid given 5 kilograms of food. Why is such assistance necessary? I hope this crime will not go unpunished.

Yes! Definitely! It will not go unpunished - those who created those terrorists - moderate or not, as well as the terrorists themselves, will get what is due to them.

And as an addition to my post above for Mersedes...

Oh, and can you explain this:
http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/720033/US-paints-American-fighter-jets-frame-Russia-false-flag-attack-Syria-conflict
The last paragraph would make sense if US pained their planes in Russian colours on the US territory - for training purposes, but not in a conflict zone, where a possibility for a mix-up is high.

So far I see a typical Western modus operandi - frame someone for some alleged misdeeds, then use that as an excuse to perform your own very real misdeeds. You do understand, Mersedes, that what you said above is the following: "because someone else (allegedly) bombed a children's hospital, it is perfectly fine for us to bomb (by proxy) their children's hospital."

The Russian way would be: if someone (even allegedly) bombed a children's hospital, go out of your way to make sure that nothing like that ever happens again.

I believe that Syria is to blame for everything. And America and Russia and Turkey have no right to be there. Or officially declare a war and fight not hiding behind other people's backs.

Yeah, sure, and that girl next block, that got raped, is to blame too - she looked too pretty for her own good, eh?

Um, no one is hiding behind anyone's back. Russia is there perfectly legally, according to the international law (which almost only Russia seems to observe, while USA only insists that others observe the international law). Russian aid was requested at the official level by the Syrian government. Same goes for the Iranian ground forces. Even Turkish forces' presence in Northern Syria has now been coordinated with and approved by Syria.

What the Obama's regime war machine is doing in Syria is anyone's guess.

Idiots! In Yalta still not demolished the monument to Lenin. Russia tired to invest in the Crimea, and he will return home to Ukraine. I think that the capture of Crimea was the beginning of the end of Russia. America beat Putin.

What does the statue of Lenin have to do with that? How is that indicative of anything? Are you suggesting that the Crimean Russian population will be happily running into Ukraine to have statues of Lenin toppled, Russian language forbidden, and the population terrorised and robbed?

In Russia they did a fair share of statue toppling and history denial in 1991-1999. No thanks, not again. Russia just never descended as far into madness as Ukraine did, but even Ukraine is starting to wake up.

Are you kidding? Russia will return Crimea to Ukraine? Good joke. Why they should do that? Who said that they tired to invest in Crimea or is it just your imagination?

Within two or three years, the country of Ukraine will be history. The Eastern portions will merge with Russia and the Western provinces will be divided between Hungary, Poland, and Romania. Check this:

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-38224388
It never be! Are you in Russia dream about it. You don't even know how to think about Russia in Ukraine. I think that the Donbas is already too much don't love you. You have your to keep, you and someone else are trying to capture.

Stop thinking of "Ukraine" - as it's translated, the borderland - and start thinking in terms of the historic names. Novorossia (torn from Russia by Lenin in 198-1920), Malorossia (ditto, in 1917), Zakarpatie (Transcarpathia) - Galicia and the lands of Rusins, Crimea (torn from Russia in 1956, never wanting to go back, and people there only dreaming of how to get back home).

Oh, and stop thinking about "Russia in Ukraine" in general. Ukraine is Russia. Russia is Ukraine. We are one people, with one history and close family ties going back for generations.

And it's manifesting very strongly with the song flashmobs. Wink

Oh, and I want to re-quote this from the previous page - pay attention to the year Wink

Who does what in Syria is difficult to determine from the outside. All we have is news from various parties that are all somehow involved in the conflict. I tend to agree however, that a real moderate rebel force hardly exists in Syria. Most are extremists of various shades.

The war in Syria is a proxy war between the US and Russia. Both powers have interest in Syria because of oil and pipeline projects.
"Pipe line projects" is valid but oil reserve is not ( Syria is on 32th country with oil reserve so not a big deal) The Russian intervention in Syria was about stoping masacre against orthodox christians and other christians( there are more then 1.5 mil orthodox christians, )
What's the religion? Even if Syria does not produces a lot of oil, but through it you can swing in Turkey by land from Iraq, Iran to Europe. Russia is afraid to lose the European market. Here is the whole reason for this war.

I think I'll pull an edit above into a reply:  It's, rather, about an absence of pipeline - it was Saudis and Quatar that were interested in the destruction of Syria to gain access to the territory to install a gas pipeline to the Mediterranean, and EU. USA's interests converged with the Saudis', in that USA needed a festering wound on Russian border.

When Russia bombed hospitals and areas of the city with civilians they didn't think that there are people dying. Cowardly Russia always at war only with those who can not answer them. I hope this will be a lesson for them.

Proof? When did Russia bomb any hospitals?  What would Russia gain by doing that, anyway? Ever since the start, Russia was almost the only source of humanitarian aid, including medical, to the local population. Russian specialists were also at the forefront in minespweeing the liberated land and in making it liveable again.

As for those alleged hospital bombings by Russia, when a journalist asked a State department spokesperson for evidence, that StateDep rep threw a tantrum, but did not answer the question:

While I agree with you, that much is obscured in the fog of war, there is one indicator - the wording of the statement from the Russian Defence Ministry. They are usually very careful in their wording, unless they have very solid proof to back the statement, proof that can be made public. The coordinates of the hospital were shared with the US - the "allies" in the war on terrorism - precisely to avoid "friendly fire". The pinpoint characteristics of the hits, coupled with he how the statement was worded, make me pretty sure that they know, down to names, who had those coordinates and whom they were passed to among the "friendly moderate opposition".

Btw, there is another reason for Russia fighting in Syria - the primary one. It's defending the borders of Russia. Take a look at the map. If Syria and the nearby region were to descend into chaos, Russian Caucasus would be next, and then central Russia. With such a threat oil pipelines (EDIT: or, rather, absence of pipeline - it was Saudis and Quatar that were interested in the destruction of Syria to gain access to the territory to install a gas pipeline to the Mediterranean, and EU) take a back - though still significant - seat. Many Americans have hard time understanding this fact, as they never had experienced aggression/war against their territory and did not have to defend their borders. Over the last 600 years only, Russia was on average fending off an attack each 50 years.

Article dedicated to Nedezhda Durachenko, one of the nurses, killed in the bombing of the hospital (photos from the archives of friends and family):

The relatives of Nadezhda told the reporter that there was only one bright spot in this tragedy - the bus with children enroute to the hospital broke down along the way and was delayed, thus the children's lives were spared...

Nadezhda left behind husband and a little daughter.

Two Russian female nurses were killed and a paediatric doctor severely wounded when a Russian hospital was bombed in Aleppo. Local resident and an RT Arabia journalist were wounded. The shelling happened by the so-called "moderate opposition", curated by USA, Great Britain and France.

https://ria.ru/syria/20161205/1482882183.html

Russian Ministry of Defence published a note of protest, stating that the blood of those killed medics is on the "civilized" West, saying that the Ministry understands from whom this "opposition" got the pinpoint coordinates.

Quote
"There is no doubt the shelling was conducted by the so-called "opposition", - said the official representative of the RF Defence Ministry Igor Konashenkov. - "We understand, from whom they received accurate information and coordinates not only of the Russian hospital, but also directly of the reception point just at the beginning of its opening hours. Therefore, the entire responsibility for the killing and wounding of our doctors, who were there to help the children of Aleppo, lies not only on the executors. The blood of our soldiers is on the hands of the customers for this murder. Those who created, nurtured and armed these beasts in human form, calling them for "moderate opposition" to justify it to their own conscience and their voters. Yes, on you, ladies and gentlemen, the patrons of terrorists from the United States, Britain, France and other sympathizer countries and entities. "

Russian Parliament is preparing an address to the parliaments of the other countries, asking for condemnation of the murder of the Russian medics.

The mobile hospital contained, among others a paediatric surgery department, X-Ray cabinet, and a laboratory.

Seeing as Syrian army has liberated 35 districts of Aleppo (70% of the territory), the organisers of the "moderate opposition" are getting worried that their assets are getting wiped out and are trying to get every last bit of chaos out of them.

The background: New Zealand, Spain and Egypt prepared yesterday a resolution to UNSC (now vetoed by China and Russia) to immediate stop military activity in Aleppo for 10 days (give the terrorists a reprieve), open up for the US humanitarian corridors (resupply terrorists) and to allow US air drips (drop arm to the terrorists locked in the 18 km2 encirclement), as well as make Syrian army stop fighting the terrorists across the whole of Syria (protect the terrorists). Over the last few days the Syrian army re-took most of Aleppo, that the terrorists held since 2012, while USA was "fighting" them.

The bombing of the mobile hospital is the Western act of terrorism as a response to the above veto, as well as to put Trump into such a position by the time he takes office that mending of the relations between USA and Russia would we impossible.

After the second nurse died, Konashenkov came with the following words to the world community:
Quote
"We demand from the whole of the world community, as well as from the "Red Cross", "Red Sickle", "Doctors without borders" and other international organisations a decided condemnation of the premeditated murder of the Russian military medics, who exercised their medical duty in helping the civilians of Aleppo. All the executors, and those who ordered the shelling of the Russian mobile hospital in Aleppo should be subjected to the proportioned responsibility.

The special anger is called because women died in that treacherous attack - no one expected the West to sink so low as to pass exact coordinates!

The above is a summary of this analysis of the situation (in Russian) by a reputable analyst.
https://cont.ws/post/450449

The analyst concludes his article with the following:

From now on, ALL Syrian terrorists without exception and regardless of flag, moderation, blueness, purpleness, shades of black and even size their patrons are in for an unprecedented bloodbath. Both they, and their NATO instructors from Syrian Aleppo to Raqqa.

Because there are some things in the world that Russia will not ever
FORGIVE!

The mood is grim, and there are calls that not a single Western instructor must leave Syria alive.
https://cont.ws/post/450376

EDIT: This reminds me of how NATO terrorised Russian mobile hospitals in Yugoslavia, during NATO's invasion and destruction of that country.

BREAKING! Trump Prepares to Drop Ukraine: Operation Poroshenko Dump
https://futuristrendcast.wordpress.com/2016/12/04/breaking-trump-prepares-to-drop-ukraine-operation-poroshenko-dump/

There is a lot more in the report above. Quoting just the part, pertaining to Poroshenko's fate.

Quote
OPERATION POROSHENKO DUMP

Please recall that in 2014 I also said that only Russia will be able to restore the territory we now call Ukraine. Only Russia can resurrect its industry and economy. Neither EU nor US are either capable or interested in doing so.

This prediction of mine is also materializing. US can’t wait to dump Ukraine. The only thing both EU and US need is a way to save face.

Trump’s election made it natural and logical to shift the foreign policy of the US in such a way as to save face and get out of the rotten Ukraine deal. But additional push was required. That’s how “Operation Poroshenko Dump” was born. Incidentally, this is my own title no idea what the US calls it.

Here’s the scoop. A Ukraine Rada deputy turned whistleblower, Alexandr Onischenko, escaped to London. In his pocket he carried damning evidence against Ukraine president and oligarch Petr Poroshenko. Below is Onischenko’s exclusive live interview with Russia24 channel during talk show 60 Minutes.

Translation:

Per Onischenko, he was recently recruited by US to record compromising conversations within Ukraine’s corridors of power.

(LR: Please note that Onischenko is far from being above board: he himself got rich assisting Poroshenko’s corruption and illegal schemes.)

On Poroshenko’s behalf, he delivered cash to buy votes of Rada deputies. This was done routinely, as a matter of course. Onischenko says that there were many laws and government appointments which passed Rada only because Poroshenko bought votes. Each deputy was paid amounts commensurate with their weight and popularity. The votes were bought to remove from important state posts anyone who wasn’t Poroshenko’s men and to install those Poroshenko had in his pocket. This included the post of Prime Minister, Attorney General and Rada Speaker.

porosh-nazi

Onischenko confirmed that if Poroshenko really wanted to stop the war in Donbass, he could do so very easily, by ordering Rada to vote in a specific way. But Poroshenko wants war in Donbass because he is a ‘greedy bastard’ (there were a few strong words used throughout). He makes huge profit from the war and confrontation.

(LR: Poroshenko owns the heavy industry brand Lenin’s Forge. He kept the name of this globally recognised plant, built by the USSR, despite ban on Soviet symbolism in Ukraine. The plant makes much of the tanks and weapons that kill the people of Donetsk and Lugansk. Poroshenko made a killing during this civil war: his fortune exploded by 7-fold and more during the period between 2014 and 2016, making him a billionaire.)

Onischenko said that IMF, US and EU loans were stolen and split up between Poroshenko and those in power, as soon as they were disbursed.

Onischenko described how Poroshenko, abusing his post as president of Ukraine, engaged in racketeering and mafia tactics to squeeze other oligarchs. The example given is that of Renat Akhmetov. Poroshenko gave order to start a media smear campaign against Akhmetov’s company. Armed thugs were sent to his plants, where they intimidated and beat up managers; several deaths were reported. Then Poroshenko demanded money. Akhmetov ended up paying him $200 million. After that, smear campaigns and attacks against Akhmetov properties ended.

(LR: Renat Akhmetov once was the richest oligarch in Ukraine, who was Yanukovich’s handler. Akhmetov, much like the rest of Ukraine oligarchs, lost a lot after 2014 coup. Poroshenko is the only oligarch who made a killing. Same is true for ex-PM Yatsenyuk, who simply stole a cool billion dollars. Per data I received, Yatsenyuk now resides in the US. He purchased two dosen (24) luxury condos and mansions throughout the US. More in EARTH SHIFT REPORT 3: OLIGARCH WARS).

Poroshenko did similar numbers on other oligarchs. Alexandr Onischenko recorded a number of such secret negotiations and conversations conducted in Poroshenko’s office.

Spy stuff: the recorder was located in his wrist watch. He passed all the recordings and his additional testimony to the US Department of Justice. It has been announced that the official investigation into Poroshenko and Rada has begun.

Lada Ray: Poroshenko and his cronies immediately branded Alexandr Onischenko ‘Putin’s agent.’ Onischenko has taken this very badly and got nervous, indignantly responding to the effect that he is an ‘honest crook’ and, if anything, ‘he is a US agent’ (lol).

Incidentally, Onischenko mentioned that he has been friendly with Donald Trump. Whether it’s true or just his fantasy is another story.

Again, let me stress that Onischenko is just as guilty as the rest of them. He was the one who participated in many of these schemes and who personally delivered million dollar bribes to Rada deputies. Just like the rest of these criminals, he got rich off Ukraine people’s misfortune.

But he has been a good Trojan Horse inside Ukraine junta, fulfilling his role admirably. The fact that he was recruited as a spy means that US is getting ready to dump Poroshenko. In fact, in Ukraine there is more and more talk that Poroshenko should be hung for his crimes.

Trump and the new people who come with him need solid evidence to save the US face and justify what Trump is preparing to do in 2017: dump Ukraine as a bad dream. Trump will make a deal with Putin. The release of Ukraine out of USA’s clutches will be Trump’s peace offering to Russia.

One of the reasons to do so is to get on a better side of Russia. But there is another: USA is financially in a much worse situation than being admitted; militarily and politically it is stretched too thin. US needs to consolidate its resources. USA under Trump is gearing towards dropping the non-performing ‘assets’ such as Ukraine. Hence dropping the Kiev junta and Poroshenko after supposedly finding out how corrupt he and his regime are (as if it wasn’t clear from the start). After all, Ukraine failed to fulfill its purpose: it didn’t become a convincing anti-Russia, as Soros, Nuland and the rest intended.

Ukraine events are starting to come to a head, per my 2014 predictions. 2017 will make everything I’ve talked about in 2014-2016 even more relevant. In order to form a full picture, read more in these ESRs:

Repost from:

News From The Breakaway Republics
http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2016/11/29/news-from-the-breakaway-republics/

This has come to me from the independent Donbass region. The Western media provides nothing but disinformation about this area of the world as part of the ongoing demonization of Russia.

I am surprised that Russian intelligence did not discover in advance the Obama regime’s coup against the Ukrainian government. I continue to believe that the Russian government made a mistake refusing the breakaway republics requests to be re-incorporated into Russia like Crimea, but I understand that Putin was counting on his refusal to calm the fear of a “revanchist Russia” that Washington was infusing into Europeans. Putin’s strategy made sense, but it failed because Europe hasn’t the capability of foreign policy independence. Western Europe did not lose its independence to Nazi Germany. Europe lost its independence to Washington. It was the US that defeated Europe and reduced Europe to vassal states of Washington’s empire.

The links provided by Chopov below will give you English language reports from that part of the world where Washington, enabled by the EU, continues to provoke violence against Russian people.

My name is Alexander Chopov and I am the founder of the Donbass Truth Channel. Our goal is to give the people of Donbass, Crimea and South-East Ukraine a voice in English. We don’t just report the news, or show video reels of suffering. We put these things in context, for Western viewers to understand not only WHAT is happening, but WHY it is happening. For example, in our very first video we explain that when hundreds of thousands of people came out to protest the Maidan coup in the Spring of 2014 they weren’t “pro-Russian” or “pro-Putin” – they were first and foremost PRO-DEMOCRACY demanding the federalization of the country, and the right to elect local governments. But that truth would have made it very hard for Western media to demonize them – after all that would mean that they share the same democratic and freedom-loving values as the people in the West. We currently have 15 videos and are working on new ones. They are from Donbass, Crimea and Moscow. Our latest uploaded video is about the JIT report on the MH-17. We traveled to the crash site, and take an in-depth look at the report and all the glaring holes in it. Here is a link to our video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0STzxJ_Jw4 We also have lighter videos, like this one, where we, with hard-hitting facts, but light-heartedly, make fun of the demonization of Russia in Western media. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezp5X2CWH7s We are all volunteers and are doing this, because we believe that only when the people in the West realize that their governments are supporting people indiscriminately bombing civilian cities and killing kids, can this horrific war come to an end. But since, unlike what Western media has people believe, Putin doesn’t give us suitcases of money, we have no means to advertise our work. Thus, only a few people see and learn the Truth. So, I would like to ask you, and your organization to help share our work with your readers, followers and subscribers, so that together we can get people to learn the truth, and help bring the end to the suffering of not only the people of Donbass, but of drafted Ukrainian soldiers, who are sent to die and kill their fellow citizens under false pretexts, as well as ease the tensions and warmongering towards Russia by some Western elites!
