501  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: why so many currencies? on: October 18, 2017, 11:34:12 AM
Because people wants something different. Altcoins created with different features and different usage. Bitcoin is still not fully develop. People wants improvement. That's why people are creating a cryptocurrency which suits their needs. For example:

Monero as well as Dash are created to add extra feature for full anonymity
Dogecoin is a joke coin or meme coin
Litecoin more faster transaction than Bitcoin because of LN

See, altcoins are created with features that Bitcoin don't have.
That is why Bitcoin is more likely to split again because Bitcoin doesn't satisfy others people. Also to generate money. Cryptocurrencies are no different with stocks. We only buy them because we want to generate some good profits from them.
502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about btc future on: October 17, 2017, 09:04:24 AM
Why worrying about it's future? We can't predict it's future mate. The future of bitcoin is uncertain. Just enjoy them while it's still exist. Don't bother worry about what will happen to bitcoin in the future. That's why theres a hardfork. Developers will fix and add what factors might be missing in able to develop bitcoin. There's always a way. Even if bitcoin die, people can still be able to create and develop another one over time. Bitcoin is just on it's beginning. Just buy as much as you can.

Bitcoin is unstoppable. The only thing that could kill Bitcoin is to ban this technology globally or shut the internet forever(which is impossible). Anyway, you're wrong about China. Bitcoin can stand alone without China. Japan can take over. Japan right now is focusing on mining. So don't worry.

Gold Miner Pivots: Backs Blockchain Company and Starts Mining Bitcoin

A Canadian mining guru, Frank Giustra, has begun mining bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies instead of just gold. He has recently backed a Vancouver Blockchain company, called Hive Technologies Inc., to oversee these mining operations and offer first-ever mining stock options.

A Bloomberg article said, “The company he’s backed, Vancouver-based Hive Blockchain Technologies Inc., is among the first publicly traded stocks to provide exposure to crypto mining.”

After Giustra’s backing of the company and its foray into mining, the company’s shares have skyrocketed. They have moved upwards of around 633%, according to Bloomberg. The company now has a market value of $443 million. Hive’s CEO, Harry Pokrandt, mentioned how unique his company is in the space.

“We’re quite lucky to be first out of the gate. We’re a unique way to get into the space.”

Giustra helped get Hive into the spotlight via his previous businesses. He was the founder of Goldcorp Inc. and Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. The Bloomberg article went into further detail about Giustra:

504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible Bitcoin to buy Wetgoods to Wet and dry Market? on: October 17, 2017, 06:24:29 AM
I don't know if it's true but there's a market from Malaysia that accepts bitcoin there.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/73dbci/bitcoin_accepted_at_wet_market_malaysia/

Im surprised. I thought i never find one. I searched Google and found these. I don't know if it's fake or legit. This is interesting. I think Bitcoin in Malaysia is very popular. It is satisfying to see. The owner of that store is brave though. I hope her business is doing well. Big markets like malls should add bitcoin as a payment option.
505  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to get started on escrowing? on: October 17, 2017, 06:00:07 AM
It's hard to get into that job. You have to be trustworthy member. As you see from other trusted members here. They have green or positive reviews about you before you get into that business. That is the indicator that you are a trusted member. You have to earn those in able to qualify from being an escrow. Of course its to earn them. I suggest you to do small trades or offer service for free to gain some trust or positive trust from the members that you successful traded.

Sad to say, but some members are abusing the trust system. Some are trust farming. They are paying members in exchange of positive reviews or trust. Just to make them a trusted member. Good thing there are some concern members who reporting those activities.
506  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be Taxed...... on: October 17, 2017, 05:41:46 AM
Actually charging taxes to bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is a good thing. Means, there's no hindrance on cryptocurrecy adoption. It will fuel the market to the higher level. This is a part of regulating cryptocurrency. Lets admit it. We cannot get away from our responsibilty. Tax is our resposibility. We are obliged to pay tax as a citizen. Some people are skeptical about taxation on cryptocurrency. I don't know why. Losing money? I don't think so. If this could solve the problem of cryptocurrency, why not? It is also to avoid problems in the future. It's better than this. Than ban it by tye government. That's sucks.
507  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Would I get worried if my post decreased? Will if affect my campaign? on: October 17, 2017, 05:15:49 AM
It's up to the managers. If the manager is well experienced manager, he can figure that out. Actually that's very easy to figure that out. Manager just have to take a look at the date where the weekly post ended and start counting the last remaining posts of the participant. If they see that you have finished the required post count. Then you are eligible to paid by the manager. If you don't meet the required amount of posts. You are not gonna get paid by the manager. As simple as that. The moderators or staffs here are cleaning the forum. They are deleting some old threads that must be deleted. So don't post on a any old threads especially those inactive threads to avoid the cut down to your post count. I experienced that too. Luckily, it does not affect much on my post count.
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Revolutionary coin: Iota on: October 16, 2017, 09:03:18 AM
Don't lose your patience mate. This is an investment you should not underestimate. This is a decent investment you should keep in touch. Actually i still keep some miotas at their slack. Just recently had a problem because someone hack the system afaik. But they already mitigated the problem. But some developments need to be address at IOTA. The wallets. Some users having a hard figuring the wallet. Even me i experience that. Im using smartphone and the wallet is not syncing. That's why i still keep my miotas to their slack channel. But i have not encountered any problems yet. Anyway, i still believe in this project. 2018 is the big year for IOTA. Just wait for their product to be released.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Basics on: October 14, 2017, 07:49:26 AM
is there a bitcoin mining here in the philippines? My cousin says, mining is low because the internet is weak and requires strong electricity. is my cousin right?

Yep that's true. Bitcoin mining in the Philippines is weak because everything there is expensive. From the elctricity costs, internet and maintenance of your rig. I don't think it can give you a decent profit. That's why the volume of miners there are pretty low. You need to have a solar powered mining rig in able to maximize your profit. But this need a serious amount of money in able to build it. Many miners at the Philippines stopped their operations because it's not profitable. You need to mine where the electricy cost is cheaper. So if you're planning to mine bitcoin there. Do the math. But i don't think you can keep up.

High electricity costs
Slow and expensive internet

These are some major problems you're gonna encounter once you mine there. So think again before jumping in to this business.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I Remember what Jamie Dimon says on: October 14, 2017, 07:25:25 AM
That's okay. He has freedom to say whatever he want to say. Let him eat the words he say. I think he was humiliated when bitcoin starts to pump up again after the thing he said. Anyway, we can't blame him for what he was doing because bitcoin is really threatening his business. When he said that he will not talk about bitcoin again. https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/jamie-dimon-im-not-going-talk-bitcoin-anymore/ SYKE! Lol! This man is joker. This man in never fail to amuse me. Anyway, calling us stupid quite painful. But let him be. I sense the desperation from him everytime he say something about bitcoin.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does one obtain Electroneum? on: October 14, 2017, 06:58:45 AM
Where can the wallet be downloaded from?

You can download Electroneum wallet at Google Play for android platform. I think you can mine electroneum at that app.

Quote
Where can I find a legit exchange?

Electroneum is on ICO phase. There's no available exchanges to buy electroneum tokens. You can only buy directly at their site https://electroneum.com

Quote
Where can I find a chart showing the exchange rates?

As i said, Electrum is not available at any exchanges yet. But Electroneum ICO token cost is about 0.01USD https://icobench.com/ico/electroneum

Quote
Are there any obstacles or other information I should know before exchanging my money for Electroneum?

Sad to say but they are not accepting cash directly. They are only accepting bitcoin amd ethereum as payment. But you can buy bitcoin thru an exchange like coinbase so you can Electroneum tokens. Good luck.
512  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you die, what will happen with your coins? on: October 14, 2017, 06:37:52 AM
Lol. What the hell? That's very risky if you ask me. Just hire an attorney to settle your assets. So you won't be worrying about it. Just write your last will and the attorney is going to keep it until the day you die. Hiding your private keys somewhere is risky because there's a chance they will never saw that. And the USB or paperwallet might be broken or turned into pieces every time goes by. So hiding it somewhere is not the best option. Just give a copy of private keys to your family. Your bitcoins will go to them when you die anyway. Unless your are greedy af and bury you and yout bitcoin together.

It will stay in your wallet as long as no one knows tour private key, nobody can open your wallet if they dont have your private keys better to give to a friend before you die.

Lol. You care about your friends more than your family.
513  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Iberia Bank hates Bitcoin on: October 14, 2017, 05:57:14 AM
What do we expect from them? Financial institutions like banks are threatened by bitcoin.
Bitcoin can kill their business. Look at Jamie Dimon of JP Morgan. Talking some craps again. But not to bitcoin, but to us. https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2017/10/13/jamie-dimon-says-people-who-buy-bitcoin-are-stupid.html
Lol! He called us stupid. I see some desperation on the way he talk. It will gonna backfire to him again and again. Recently, he just gave an statement that he will not gonna talk about bitcoin again. https://www.coindesk.com/jamie-dimon-says-hes-done-talking-bitcoin/
Well, look at him. He looks like stupid.

Banks are against bitcoin. That's given. But no matter what they do. Bitcoin will stay and will never vanish. That's the fact. In the end, they are the losers.
514  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: It is good to invest money to a btc doubler mining sites??? on: October 13, 2017, 01:39:34 PM
There's no such thing as "bitcoin doublers". They are all just scams. Avoid all of them. Avoid any HYIP sites to protect yourself from being scammed by them. Because what they offer is impossible to happen. If they are all legitimate, i should be a billionaire by now. You don't even know how they are gonna double your investment in just a short time period. Mining takes a lot of time to get that amount. So it's impossible that they make it double. Better spend your bitcoin to worthless things than giving it to scammers. Bitcoin price is very high right now. So think wise where do put your bitcoin. Don't just jump into an investment without having a deep reasearch about it or regret it for the rest of your life. There's a tons of ways to grow your bitcoin. Bitcoin doublers or any HYIPs are not one of them. Just stay away from them.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Ukraine to regulate exchanges on: October 13, 2017, 01:24:53 PM
That's better. We can't do something about that. Besides, other countries are doing the same thing. Japan already regulates the local exchanges. There's no big deal if Ukraine will follow.
Regulating cryptocurrency has positive effects at the progress of cryptocurrency at Ukraine though. It will boost the adoption of cryptocurrency there.
Taxation is normal to me. That's our responsibility as a citizens of a nation. We are bound to do that.
I don't see any bad thing about their implementation of tax at their country. We can't escape tax forever. It's inevitable. So it's better than let the government ban cryptocurrency. Also regulating cryptocurrency is better, to avoid any problems in the future. Because if the government will not regulate cryptocurrency, they will just continue to do some actions against against cryptocurrency. Like China was doing.
516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China May Reverse Bitcoin Band on: October 13, 2017, 06:44:51 AM
Enough with that China ban drama. Im sick and tired of all their nonsense. China don't have the power over bitcoin anymore. No wonder why Japan surpassed China from the being the biggest cryptocurrency market in the world. I don't care about China's action against. Ban bitcoin if they want. Japan is right behind them to take over. But in my opinion, China will not going to ban bitcoin or even mining there. I always seeing China is going to ban cryptocurrency. I forget how many times they said that. But it didn't happen. They are manipulating bitcoin. And gullible people buy their drama.
