I really respect cryptonit.net for jumping on board and provide with a platform to trade.
unfortunately it seems an university project, not sure I want to keep my money there that long  Cry

504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTC] 3x 4x 7950 need help on: April 27, 2013, 02:29:22 PM
I have rebuilt my rig with a msiz77a-g54, 4 cards running at 605/605/610/580, WU=92%
It seems stable but I think I need at least 1 power riser to be sure

Nutnut what's you stable hash for 4x7950?
505  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: System constantly reboots with 4x 7950, but not 3x on: April 27, 2013, 12:19:13 AM
my mobo (msi  z77a-g45) doesn't reboot and it recognize 4 cards without shorting but it does only 550kh per card at 900/1250 -I 20
506  Economy / Speculation / Re: In the long run, bitcoin will be worth $0. on: April 26, 2013, 03:55:59 PM
It is just like bitcoin

"..except it's an offshoot that uses a different method of mining than bitcoin (scrypt) that has it's own advantages and disadvantages."

Seems like a pretty sound explanation to me. Why wouldn't they just be able to say that?

because nobody would be interested, talking about bubbles is much better
507  Economy / Speculation / Re: In the long run, bitcoin will be worth $0. on: April 26, 2013, 03:31:13 PM
Why would somebody from Silicon Valley / Economist be better than the current developers of BTC/LTC/etc?
It's a good moment to destroy crypto currencies (not exchanges), lots of people looking at this.
Problem is, I still can see them hence they are worth much more than 0.

So, what's your real analysis based on?
508  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: System constantly reboots with 4x 7950, but not 3x on: April 26, 2013, 02:11:56 PM
kokojie are you mining sha or scrypt?
what's your stable hash/config with 3 cards?
please check this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=188308.0
thanks

I'm mining scrypt, I can stably mine at 620 mh with 3x, I overclocked only a tiny bit. core to 1060, mem clock to 1335. If I mine with 4x, doesn't matter if I overclock or not, it always reboots.

ok thanks I will try these settings.
I will let you know  if I can put 4 cards on msi mobo without powered risers

510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [LTC] 3x 4x 7950 need help on: April 26, 2013, 12:43:32 PM
I am trying to set up 4x7950

gigabyte windforce v2 flashed bios for 1.090v
13.3 beta
cgminer 2.11.3
w7 64bit, 8gb in a sigle stick
pci risers x1 to x1 to the cards

At the moment I have 3x on a cheap gigabyte mobo which doesn't recognize the 4th card (shorting not attempted)
I bought an MSI Z77A-G45 and I will try it tonight to see if the mobo is the problem, I hope so  Roll Eyes

I use an xfx 1250w gold, 3x at 1000/1250/+20% run stable at 750w from wall

I can run stable each card individually to 660kh with 1125(55)/1450/+20% I 19 tc 16384, with or without risers.

When I put 3 together I cannot go over 595-605kh each, (600/550/600 reported on pool) with 1000/1250/+20% temps about 65-72c with fan 60%

At the moment I run guiminer with this cmd:
cgminer.exe --scrypt -u x-p-x o x --gpu-platform 0 -d 0 -w 256 -v 1 -I 20 -g 1 -l 1 -T  --thread-concurrency 21712
cgminer.exe --scrypt -u x-p-x o x --gpu-platform 0 -d 1 -w 256 -v 1 -I 20 -g 1 -l 1 -T  --thread-concurrency 21712
cgminer.exe --scrypt -u x-p-x o x --gpu-platform 0 -d 2 -w 256 -v 1 -I 20 -g 1 -l 1 -T  --thread-concurrency 21712

I know a lot of people can keep 1 card at 660kh stable, I also can but what about 3 or 4 cards?

What's your hashrate/clock/mem with 3 or 4 7950?

Why do I get mixed results between 1 card and multiple cards? is it the mobo which cannot keep it ? or maybe the psu (I doubt this)?

I want to squeeze every single hash from these cards, I know 1750-1800kh is good for 3 cards but I am more looking at 650kh each card.
So, is it possible?

Thanks  Smiley

512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FeatherCoin Pool - Stratum on: April 23, 2013, 11:13:28 AM
hi viperaus,
first of all thank you for running the pool, stratum is working great (so far) and stale is very low
but please get rid of that crap! front end is terrible, it takes ages to load and has no accurate information Smiley

I think if you use Windows you have to plug 1 monitor for each card or dummy plugs,
linux should work without

I agree, this doesn't make much sense to me
If it's not worth n <fiat>, how do you give it a value?
Who and why should accept it?

The mods should edit this thread title and put SCAMMER in it.

I believe mods won't take action on this as they did nothing for vpool

Guide to make some easy Bitcoins
---------------------------------
1. Create an alt-coin.
2. Announce alt-coin on bitcointalk.org.
3. Mine 100,000 of said alt-coin while difficulty is low.
4. Get your friends to post in the announcement thread.
5. Start a petition for btc-e to add alt-coin.
6. Pump up price of alt-coin in btc-e chat box.
7. Wait for price to reach 1k alt-coins per 1 BTC.
8. Sell 100k alt-coins for 100 BTC.
9. Give yourself a pat on the back for the massive profit you just made.
10. Send a small BTC donation to 13jeLiF3eTYCAnopx4UHrFseubsLRAdaXz for his easy-to-follow guide.

This, what's going to be next month??

Also,

I've never seen an alt coin take off as quickly as FC. Period.

because so many people missed btc and they are now trying to be an early adopter jumping on the lowest diff coin
