i have a big question
i have seen some governments are freezing crypto withdrawing accounts. so whats the best option / alternatives for such situations ?
I have seen some banks stopping people from buying crypto, but not withdrawing crypto to fiat. If they are doing that and it is across a whole country, so there are no banks that let you withdraw, then it is certainly difficult - other ways to convert to fiat are risky. I think there are going to be some crypto projects soon that let you convert to fiat, so probably best to wait.

I don't think anyone likes EtherDelta. Apart from being hacked it is often laggy and always inconvenient. But until a competitor arises that lists new ERC20 coins as often and as quickly, it will continue to be used.

Many price targets that are set in crypto appear unlikely, only to be surpassed a few weeks later. However $10,000 for one XRP token is insanely high, this would mean a marketcap in the hunderds of trillions. Surely this is impossible.

funny metaverse seems to be a dead project though a good idea and good backing. BasaService is a logical step fwd perhaps too late. So the guy who backs metaverse slams DeepOnion - draw your own conclusions ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) lol, not sure if serious. 100% of the deeponion "value" is from spamming bitcointalk all day. metaverse ceo was founder of antblocks/neo. the challenge of metaverse is that so far it managed to generate very very few excitement among investors and thats been going on for a long time. but eric gu is very popular in the blockchain scene, you couldnt call him a scam, well maybe we should to generate more fake news as you guys do with deeponion, which will generate more attention and lead to a higher price. you can see what little scammers all the deeponion shills are just by this thread, i asked for the next neo/raiblocks etc. you come here and spam your scamcoin... It is obviously difficult to spot the next mega coin from amongst the low cap coins... but Metaverse does seem a lot better than most. I do hold some and have been for a while. I will continue holding, but I'm still not sure whether or not to buy more.

Hello guys! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Today I wanted to ask you, what do you think about airdrops? I think that it is good to be selective. If you go for every airdrop, there is a lot of rubbish out there and also some scams that want either ID or private keys. Airdrops might be free but they do also take time to complete and the scams may come with unfortunate costs further down the line. So I would say research before joining, don't just leap into everything because of FOMO at limited participant numbers.

My biggest regret can vary as I make more mistakes. A general regret is that I am too reluctant to sell when the market turns bear. I don't make panic sells or FOMO buys, I am quite good at remaining logical - but the one thing that I struggle with is selling when I can see the whole market falling. There's nothing wrong with holding, but trading to increase your coins is better.

I'm not sure. We've had the big rise in December and the big dip in January. If the market had been stable for a long time, then maybe Chinese New Year would have a big effect. But against the pattern of the turmoil of the last couple of months, I'm not sure that Chinese New Year will matter too much.

Dear members
please advice me on this, I am ready to put 10000$ on the bull market. i have two coins for it. i have researched on that. if any suggestions there let me know
coins are
1. SIA 2. TRON
each coin i am planning to invest 5000$ respectively.
I would split across more than two coins, it is a lot to gamble with on just a couple of projects. And I too am looking forward to the next bull market!

In my opinion , ETH is now more hot than BTC because the explosion of ICOs base on ETH Blockchain. During the recent dip, ETH price even a little come up, all altcoins and BTC holders lose funds but ETH holders still have profit. So i think that ETH will reach BTC price this year. What do you think guys?
I'm expecting a lot from ETH in 2018, especially when the hybrid PoS system goes live. This should address a lot of the scaling concerns. Will it overtake BTC? Possibly, but this doesn't just depend on how good ETH is, it also depends on how good BTC is. Once Lightning Network comes into play, the BTC price could rocket upwards. So I think both ETH and BTC will do well. One thing I am concerned about is how BTC Lightning Network might affect LiteCoin - would LiteCoin have any purpose then?

|
|
Yes, I think $10k for ETH is perfectly reasonable. Look at how much it rose last year, and there is plenty in the roadmap for this year, including addressing the scaling issues. There's a chance it could overtake bitcoin.

i am looking for a nice 5-10x profit ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) You'll have to do you own research, but out of the top coins I think that both NEM and NANO are underpriced at the moment - they've both fallen because of recent bad news that was not entirely their own fault, and can be expected to rise again.

I have been trading crypto-currencies for almost a year now, investing, participating in bounty companies and building my own mining farm. I wonder how many more girls are in this forum? Or who of the guys is teaching his girlfriends and wives to invest and trade in crypto-currencies? It is very interesting to me!
Difficult to tell given how keen people are to preserve their anonymity. In general I think it is mostly men who are involved, as there is a large gender imbalance in tech industries (of which crypto is part), with a much higher % of men than is the case in other industries. I'm sure there are quite a few women here, and the balance will be more women as we move towards mainstream adoption and crypto stops being a niche techy area.

Hello, Yesterday I saw some increase in my total estimated token value, and today it dropped significantly. It appears that a lot of people are selling their airdropped tokens as soon as they get them. I have not sold a single token from airdrops, and with the exception of some them, they seem to be mostly losing value in time. Should I do the same or hodl hoping that some of them may increase in value, closing the gap I lose in the process?
This depends on whether or not you think the project has a long-term future. If it does, then hold on to the tokens, if it doesn't then sell as soon as you can or on the first price pump.

"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it". The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks The answer is in the question - only a world government could kill crypto by unifying legislation globally. In practice countries can't agree on anything, and the closest we have to a world government is the UN, which is woefully ineffective. And even if a lot of countries ban crypto, there will be a lot trying to exploit the situation by allowing crypto and trying to acquire greater wealth - similar to the global race to the bottom on corporation tax in a bid to attract multinationals. TL;DR: no.

just a question. how do you get with an air drop
First, find an airdrop - look on the Bounty board in this forum, or on social media Twitter/Facebook. Then look at the required steps, complete them, and complete and submit the google form. Once you find an airdrop, all the instructions should be there.
|
|

Will they be offering a Bounty? Sorry. Someone had to say it. ~
This made me spit out my drink laughing. Nice one mate! I couldn't resist ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I had 238 activities when merit system was imposed and i only needed to activities to become Sr.Member. It was my bad luck but i am trying hard to improve my post quality.
This is the kind of positive attitude that we need! We must all work hard to post helpful, informative and insightful content. It will benefit us all in the end, and we will all distribute and receive merit accordingly. Yes there may be a few teething problems along the way, but merit is a good addition to the forum, and I think any issues will be ironed out as we progress.

Hi everyone. I've tried participating in a couple of airdrops but haven't gotten any coins yet. For those of you who have, how do you go about making anything out of airdrops? Is it worthwhile or just the usual pump and dump?
Most airdrops are worthless, but some are good. It depends how much time you are willing to invest in signing up for them. Or you could just go for those that look like great projects.

What do you think, Is it Ripple buy time? If your answer is yes, then want to know the target around 2018 (almost one year). If I invest 2k$ on it, how much I can get back from this?
XRP is very hard to predict after what happened in Dec and then Jan. I would give a cautious yes as there has been more good news for XRP recently - but in the past this hasn't translated into price rise. The main reason I am saying yes is that it is so far below ATH now, so there might not be a lot of resistance to a rise.

what's the best altcoin that it price not down when the price of bitcoin is down.
It doesn't really work like that. If a coin doesn't go down much, then it also doesn't go up much. You're talking about something with relatively high stability. At the moment bitcoin can swing the whole market. Presumably individual coin prices will decouple from bitcoin as the market matures, but judging by the market over the last two months, we're a long way from that happening.
