5001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your dream for bitcoin? What will it become? on: January 19, 2016, 01:35:22 PM
My dream for bitcoin is to be adopted by the world not only by a few. If you mention it, people can relate and not like you are speaking an alien language that they cannot comprehend. Of course, if this happens, price would also rise up. All merchandizers accepting it as payment not just a few online merchandizers.
5002  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin is Dying! Philippines on: January 19, 2016, 01:24:46 PM
Kung alam ko lang na gagawin ni hearns yan last week, nag short sana ako. Laki ng tubo ko. O yun ang ginawa nia?  Kahit nag exit sia, tumubo pa rin sia ng almost 100$ per bitcoin. Pwede ba mangyari to?
5003  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pilipinas (Philippines) on: January 19, 2016, 01:10:23 PM

5004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: January 18, 2016, 03:08:05 PM
Halving or not I am still holding my coins. There is no immediate need for me to encash my bitcoins so it will stay in my wallet. Plus, I believe with the current progress in adoptation of bitcoin and with some media coverage, it is bound for a great price increase. Halving is just one of the factors for price increase.
5005  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pilipinas (Philippines) on: January 18, 2016, 02:56:28 PM
5006  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: January 18, 2016, 02:00:39 PM
Hey guys,

I just spoke to a guy over chat who told me his plan was to get 100 BTC, wait for the price to reach $5k per BTC and retire after that. Since he lives in a third world county, that might be possible for him. I know this is a simplification of the problem but I d like to know what s your plan. How many BTC is your goal, at what price and what happens once you reach that goal. After all, we have all been involved in a dream, why not dream it a bit more.  Grin

My plan is to horde as much bitcoin as I can while maintaining my current job. It does mot matter where the coins come from, trading, faucet or sig campaign. I'll horde and when the price is right, I'll retire from my job and enjoy the benefits of bitcoin. Hopefully this happens when I am still strong, young and healthy enough to enjoy it.

Snip
Well I just checked secondstrade's profile and he was last online today. But just be patient. That's something I can't do.

As he said, he is online but on mobile only.so updating spreadsheets and payments are all on hold until he is back. Be patient, hopefully he will be back tomorrow.
5008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: January 17, 2016, 10:47:32 AM
think the best is to hold bitcoin.
specially right now when there will be soon a halfing and price seems to be in a bullish mode  (of course to trade into other coins is a good thing too, but in my opinion you need to hold coins with a longterm vision, and always have bitcoins beside).

Acquire more coins now as I consider today's price is cheap and any price below $400. Soon this dumping scenario will end and.get ready for bitcoin price back in action while halving comes closer.

This is true. Everytime there is a dip, is a great time to buy bitcoins. You never know if there is another opportunity like this in the future so better take this chance. Everyone is so hyped with the halving that is why the price might push to the limit. If you don't accumulate bitcoins now, you might miss the fun later.
5009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: January 17, 2016, 10:42:05 AM
yes im still holding my btc   because i believe that  the price will grow up than last year Smiley

Exactly and that is the right thing to do, as we all are very much aware that the price of bitcoin would reach to a new level in the coming months and  we want that it should reach to a moon, its not possible but atleast if we are able to earn some  profits out of it then there is no major concern.

But the price is dropping now. Is this the last drop before the big rise we will see in a few months? Is so, I am not worried.

sell your BTC now to limit your loss or even to earn something IF you bought below 350 USD. Then wait until BTC will fall below 200 USD and you may buy after that. Smiley

why would you keep a such volatile commodity as Bitcoin? Just trade it and try to make profit or limit the losses. Speculation! Smiley

Yes, bitcoin is volatile, but it is a long term investment. If it double or triple the price in 5 years, then its a win. And some people are not very good in trading. Only some have the guts and the wits to be a good trader.

5011  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: January 17, 2016, 03:30:55 AM
If you haven't been born rich, unless you win the lottery you need to marry with someone rich. That is the only way to become rich.

This only happens in fairy tales. No rich woman would marry a poor guy unless he is godly handsome or have a very large ****.
5012  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: January 14, 2016, 01:15:10 PM
I just wanna add, if you are confused what to do, whether you invest or save it, just always remeber saving your money is securing it for future while investing your money is risking it for profit. Now which is better? It will depend on you but personally its better to secure your future Wink

The only problem is, if you let your money sleep in banks or anywhere you save it, it loses its purchasing power overtime and loses its value. If you do not invest your saved money, it loses to inflation. Remember, your 1 dollar today does not have the same purchasing power 20 years ago.
5013  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: January 13, 2016, 04:25:59 PM
the easiest way to save your money is alocate at least % 10 of your income, spent only for things what you need not what you want, make sure never put yourself in a position where you are forced to spend it

To achieve that people must prioritize it to themselves to have a portion of their monthly income that will goes to your savings. In this way, you are really sure you are saving money. They must force themselves to do it.

If they succeed they will surprise how much money they save annually.

The key here is discipline. Without proper discipline, you cannot follow through your plan. Even if you set to save even just 5% of total income, if you cannot follow thru it year in , year out, its futile. Someone once adviced me to open an account, then distroy the atm. Just keep the account number. Then, automatically transfer your planned saving to that account. You dont have access to it so you cannot withdraw your savings. Then it will build up, there's your savings.
5014  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: January 13, 2016, 01:05:14 PM
Buying somewhere to live is the best thing you can ever buy. Just don't buy an overpriced house, or a flat in a big city that would be surely sold at an unfair price. This may depend from where you live but if you live in Western World, houses are most of time really really expensive, so it would be smarter to build it. Imagine, the newspaper could say : "Bitcoin build houses. Nothing can stop the rise !" Grin ! Also, consider that if you're young, you should invest it and then use the income flow to buy or build it. This would be what I would do.

Unfortunately, totalitarian governments multiply the cost of home building by requiring nonsensical permits, taxing the fuck out of it.

So true. A house does not earn you anything, and yet the government taxes them. Don't they have enough money yet? This is why I consider a house as a liability not an asset. It drains the owner money thru maintenance and taxes.
5015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: January 13, 2016, 12:58:36 PM
Trading is the safest way to grow the Bitcoin stash. Lending works as well but one big Default and most of the work could be for nothing. With trading you can almost always sell for 10% and buy back coin at or below market price.
I think tradeing is just like gambling, you have a risk or possibility of loss
many people who don't like it, and I said it was not safe,
and also trade need knowledge and capital to be able to get profit

Yeah, if you are trading blindly, the risk is high and it can be synonymous to gambling. But if you study it, have the right tools, then it is calculated risk. Profit is big. There is still the risk to loose but very minimal.
5016  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: January 13, 2016, 12:52:05 PM
I believe it is based on how old are you. In the end, if u r 60 i wouldn't be too risky with the money you have, in twenties u should risk it. the bigger the risk, hopefully the better the award.

This is true. If you are still in your 20's or 30's, you still have the luxury of time. You can be stupid and invest on wrong instruments and still have time to recover your lost. But if you are in your 60's, you should be retired and enjoying the little time left in your life. Very little to no buffer for mistakes in investments.
5017  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: January 13, 2016, 12:46:16 AM
just maybe, this time I had a very tedious work, I want to work at home with my family
waiting for the right time to resign
If you are not happy with your job you can always quit. But before you do, you should.consider a few things. Like, have you saved enough to cover for the expenses in the lean months ahead when you quit. If not, you should find an alternate steady income before you quit.
5018  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: January 13, 2016, 12:38:21 AM
Both options are useful to diversify our money, and we need to look for professional advice to decide how to manage our money. I personally prefer to keep most of my money in banks to use it in my ordinary expenses, and about a 30% is invested on different instruments and risk levels.

I avoid the risk investments, alltough bitcoin is a risky asset indeed. But yes saving money means a low earning because interest is low compared to investing.
if you keep money in the bank, it includes investment?
so you do not need, set aside 30% of your money to investment risk, better to save or investments in banks, it has profited and also safe

If you let your money sleep in banks, it will loose its value to inflation. Interests in bank is way lower than inflation so every year it stays there, the less actual value it has. To be considered as a good investment, the instrument should have annual growth rate that is greater than inflation.

Working at home is a dream for many people but having a job outside in the real world has its perks too like covered medical and dental bills paid vacations and bonuses. Just don't put all of your eggs in 1 basket  Wink
now working at home is not a dream, you only need a laptop or computer to be able to work at home,
many ways to earn money on the internet, if you already know how to work, work at home more enjoyable

Yes I know that many people now prefer to work at home and it may be more enjoyable but still you have to pay insurance yourself and in the event of getting sick everything will be out of your wallet right? Plus no bonuses no free gym card no free lunch no free team vacations nothing.

Those are perks of working in a well established and good company. But here in my country, not all companies offer those perks. Some freelancers my also earn more than regularly employed individuals plus they have the luxury of controlling their time and less hassles on commuting to work.
5020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: January 12, 2016, 02:01:58 PM
Smart trading... Just need to learn how to do smart trading...

I also want to trading, but i don't know how to start. and i don't have big balance to do trading. For now i grows my bitcoin only from signature campaign and gambling.

You can start there, accumulate bitcoins while you study the art of trading. Hopefully when you have enough bitcoins, your knowledge is also enough to trade. There are a lot of online tutorials.you can read about trading. It does not have to be about trading bitcoin, but any, like forex. Just learn the basics and go from there.
