The important point is: They have 20-30 employees (at this stage maybe more). To post a twitter message: "Everything is OK.Chips here. Shipping starts tuesday." You need exactly 29.5 seconds. I dont get it why they choose to stay silent. Especially since they did announcements like this last week.
5002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: September 29, 2013, 04:16:33 PM
lol!

what exactly are you trying to contruct here?

last weeks...

It's just exhausting, this thread.  It's the first thing I check when I wake up (after pool stats).  And I'm only checking for REAL news.  And instead, we get 8 pages of new/old FUD and fantasy.  And that's a complete downer.

Can we all agree, when there is some REAL news to report, that someone will start a new thread and we can all let this one die?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=304567.0

why didn't you set up a self-moderated thread?

would also recommend that

Schon interessant.
5005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: September 27, 2013, 10:35:22 PM
they could have stopped all this as well as refunds by naming a shipping date or at least give more news about current progress
as well as [edit-begin] sticking to claims like [edit-end] allowing refunds until shipment as stated [edit2-begin] since there are still some asking for October slots as far as I know [edit2-end]

being silent in order to surprise customers seems to be a stupid tactic and I do not think they are stupid

Well if there is anybody looking for October Jupiters I have 2. I did buy them with PayPal and an AMEX so I still have some options.

I'm sorry guys & gals, but this time Xallia & Crumbs are right.
When I ordered, It was for September DELIVERY, not September shipping.

True. So it looks like you will get your order one, two or three days late.

BUT, when you ordered 400 GH/s was the name of the game. Now we are talking 500 GH/s (maybe even more), so absolutely no reason to whine imo.

The 500GH/s has never been confirmed. Just Sam in coindesk I think saying 450GH/s and a KnC forum post re PSU requirements. The truth is KnC don't even know how fast their chips will be.  Butfury's chips have 5GH printed on the package for instance.

Indeed it was a forum post of a KNC member. Yes, maybe even KNC doesnt know exactly what will be possible.

But that doesnt make any big difference regarding my statement: If KNC ships miners hashing 500GH/s+ nobody has the right to whine about 3 days delayed delivery and nobody should as its the much better choice to have a 500 GH miner at October 3rd than a 400 GH/s at september 30th.

In the end: 400% increase = BS
5008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: September 27, 2013, 03:42:25 PM
When did expected become a promise.

Semantics pedantry -- the last resort of failed fanbois.  Hope you get an equally formalistic package from KNC -- A plastic miner doll wearing a "500GH/s" bib.

Fanboy.. not sure about that. But heavy invested yes.

There will be a video during the weekend on a working unit. And pickup / shipments starts early next week. Dont see the problem.

200M difficulty and probably a 400% jump on next adjustment might be a problem for some.

800m by next adjustment in around one week?

You wanna be quoted then with this?

I will organize a group buy.

So... Where is 'orama? Only one post today? Smells fishy Smiley

he is on the plane.
5011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: September 26, 2013, 03:22:46 PM
Mmm well I guess we won't hear much until the coming days are upon us.

Now I'm certain sept orders won't ship in time. They didn't even say if their chips got done packaging or not, which is pretty surprising.

I guess chips arrived today and should have arrived at monday.

Not looking extemely good at the moment imo.

Only good thing is that if knc is late the diff spike that knc will produce is delayed also...

Alternativlosigkeit hin oder her.

5013  Local / Off-Topic (Deutsch) / Re: versteht ihr Ripple? on: September 26, 2013, 02:03:34 PM

Alternativlosigkeit hin oder her.

5014  Local / Off-Topic (Deutsch) / Re: versteht ihr Ripple? on: September 26, 2013, 01:35:38 PM

Also sozusagen Default-Ripples.

5015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple XRP climbing on open source and ZipZap news! UPDATE - up 90% on: September 26, 2013, 01:26:18 PM

Question:

What happens when someone defaults?

So lets say we got this ripple-chain from person A,B,C and D

And through the ripple-effect A is lending basically D 100$. D is burning those 100$ and is default.

Who will have to pay those 100$ then?
5016  Local / Off-Topic (Deutsch) / Re: versteht ihr Ripple? on: September 26, 2013, 01:11:36 PM

Hi,

mal ne Frage:

Was passiert bei nem Zahlungsausfall?

Also A traut B, B traut C, und C traut D.

Bleibt das dann an A hängen?

Wäre ja schon bisschen scheisse da er ja D niemals persönlich 50€ geliehen hätte.

Its a matter of ONE minute to write a twitter or forum message "The chips arrive friday, saturday or whatever"...
assholes like you insist on some wild ass guess then bring blame when suppliers / shippers / etc make the guess inaccurate? Jerk.

-MarkM-

Seriously, you are getting insulting cause of a simple question? Are you that close to fuckn freak out?

You know maybe they deliver on time maybe they wont. Maybe it will be a profitable venture maybe it wont. But YOU have just prooven to be a fuckin donk.

Indeed it would be nice to get some details. I honor the way KNC is handling things so far but there news policy could need some optimizing.

It needs just a minute from a secretary and everyone would be pleased.

Have the chips arrived?

If not, when are they supposed to arrive and wasnt they meant to arrive earlier this week?

I have no problems with delays, cause i see them doing everything they can to supply those miners as early as possible, so thats OK with me.

But i would like to stay informed daily in this very critical phase that we are right now. Like i said, one minute work for some office worker and we all know whats going on.

Or you know, just relax and be patient.....

We are in the most crtitical week right now, several thousand dollars have been invested, i really think we all deserve some details whats going on right now.
