Lots of things are used for illegal activities. It does not mean something should not be used. Words and letters are also used for illegal activities by the way - terrorists are using them to communicate. So we should use them with care, maybe we are potential terrorists?
agree all used for illegal activities. weapons, social media, currency, not only bitcoin. so it was very reasonable when others use bitcoin for illegal activities Of course it will be used by illegal activities. That is pretty normal I think for Bitcoin. They must know that it happens. You cant check with Bitcoin what you bought and that is why they use it and that is a huge problem. Bitcoins are not entirely untracable, you can add as many layers of protection as you want, but one act of carelessness could render all those efforts useless. Not wanting to give people ideas here, but there are altcoins that are better suited for those kinds of activities.

i know bitcoin itself is already an investment but i have 3 bitcoin sitting around and I'm looking for a quick 5% flip any idea??
people like you who see bitcoins as investement are people who against bitcoin, because bitcoin introducing as payment, not investement, but sadly we can't deny it. why dont you try invest to btjam and other safe cloud mining, but 5% is too risky in my opinion. I would definitely not go as far to say that people who view Bitcoin as an investment are also automatically against Bitcoin. People use Bitcoin for all sorts of different reasons, some might view it as an investment, but also make use of it as a currency.

I would say that Bitcoin and cash both have somewhat different uses and strenghts. I still prefer cash over Bitcoin for paying in stores, bars and restaurants. For online transactions, definitely Bitcoin, but cash can't be used for that anyways.

Ok, right off the bat I see that there aren't any fields that are marked with a ' * ' when you register (All fields are optional?). It also takes really long for the page to refresh when I try to register. (After I submit the registration form)
But I was able to make an account, and the site itselfs looks and feels pretty nice.
It might be a good idea to add just a standard wysiwyg to the post editor.
Yeah im looking for one that don't look ugly as hell there is one already installed its just turned off. Also no nothing is optional other then github i believe. Yeah I noticed since I didn't add a Github account and just tried the registration process again and it looks better now with the *'s added.

The greatest win I've ever had is when I turned faucet (1550 sat ) into 1.5 BTC on primedice couple months ago. I combined 10x, 99x and 9900x payouts. But unfortunately since primedice rise up the minimum wagered for the faucet to start increasing from 1 BTC to 10 BTC my faucet life has ended.
As far as I know, Crypto-games does not have minimum wager requirements for faucet withdraws, I was just able to withdraw my winnings and invest them.

Is the IP address of the person sending a transaction publicly visible?
No. I've noticed there are some ip addresses atached to transactions, but figured they must be from node or pool.
That's the IP address of the node that relayed the transaction. It even says on Blockchain.info:"It does not necessarily mean the IP address is the source of the transaction.". Ok, I have no idea how I missed seeing that on Blockchain.info. But that means that the nodes could actually tie a transaction to the IP address that sent the transaction, right?

I really wish the Jobs4bitcoin subreddit was a bit more active, and offered some more low skill kind of jobs. I mean, it's just so easy to browse through and it would be even better if there were like 20 new offers per day. Now if you're lucky there are like 10 offers per week..

Just yesterday I've gambled a faucet claim of 4200 Satoshi's on Crypto-Games till it reached 0.12 BTC, which was pretty unbelievable. I continued to gamble 0.04 of that and I stopped at 0.08 Bitcoin. I had lost 0.4 BTC that day before, so I'm still at a loss, but that win yesterday softened the previous loss

I'm pretty sure that the price of Bitcoin would be a lot higher than it is today, but I'm still glad that we do have altcoins alongside Bitcoin.

It's not working for me. Tried it on Chrome and Firefox. I can move the cursor over the rabbits but nothing happens when I click Maybe you don't have Javascript enabled? It works fine for me on Firefox 44.0.2, I did have to refresh the page, so that might also be the problem...

There is an Ethereum faucet on the Crypto-games website, if that counts? It pays pretty well if you level up a bit and you can payout if you have 0.10 ETH. Here's a screenshot of the different payouts per level: You can level up by just being active in the chat, investing, gambling, etc.
|
|
|
You can invest into the Ethereum bankroll over at the Crypto-Games website, you can invest for just 0.50 ETH or more. You could up end up losing though, due to variance, but in the long term you should theoretically make profit, depending on how much the house edge is.

Already getting dumped like crashy
RIP ETH we return to 0.0020 BTC I'm seeing way too much buy support still for it to ga back to those levels, I've got a feeling that we won't see it drop below 0.015 btc too soon. Just look at that buy wall over at Poloniex, no way it's going back to 0.002.

I use Crypto Prices All-in One, you can add a lot of altcoins from various exchanges and the prices are pretty accurate. It doesn't take up too much memory, which is a plus for me.
I'm using it on Android, but there might also be an iOS version available.

i know bitcoin itself is already an investment but i have 3 bitcoin sitting around and I'm looking for a quick 5% flip any idea??
try invest on hyip or ponzi site,so many site like that,or you can try to invest on bitcoin kingdom,i know some people mentioning that, but i never try to invest there. I would never recommend someone to invest on a ponzi or HYIP. There are better investment options, OP. Try giving out loans with collateral hero on the forum, buy into a growing altcoin or invest in a trusted dice website. All fairly risky options, but for 5%, you do not need to keep your money invested for a long time.

I think the biggest turn off would be the volatility of it all. No one wants to wake up everyday having to worry about their coins turning to dust. We need the banks to back the blockchain.
agree with you everyone always alert to this coin. because the price at any time can go down very sharply. therefore when prices began to climb many people selling directly This would make the price back down. if you are not good at that you will be more losses maybe it makes a lot of people stop using bitcoin If you look at the history if the Bitcoin price of the last couple of years, then you'll see that there were persiods of a couple months long in which there was hardly aany volatility. Not even that long ago, if I remember correctly. So it could definitely be possible that we'll see another period like that, after the halving hype has gone perhaps.

With the current move on btc i think its hard to invest we may see the price rise up again or go down... As the whales are manipulating the btc right now...
whales manipulate bitcoin price because he want to buying a ton of bitcoin before block halving done keep hold your bitcoin is best way at this day. Sometimes it's also highly profitable to make fast trades when the Bitcoin price is going down and to buy into an altcoin that is rising in price at that moment. I've done that using Dash and Ethereum over the last couple of weeks/months and have grown 0.75 btc into 3.85 btc. wow it's a huge growing really from 0.75 to 3.85BTC ? where you buy your first Etherum and dash? in this week im start with 0.27btc and now my balance 0.52 , im trade at poloniex, i get some profit from dash too buying at 0,0109 and vanillacoin buying under 19.000 sat I've just been trading on Poloniex, I'm not even a professional trader or anything, I just noticed a few market trends and bought and sold at the right times. It's kinda difficult to not have made a profit with ETH in the last couple of months, I remember buying at around 0.002 btc

I don't agree with what you are saying, I am still much more in favour of having legalized, regulated gambling than to have it banned and it being offered by criminals. Some people will get addicted and there should be some help offered for those people, but they have to take the step, you can't force help onto someone.
