5041  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: AVOID trading at all costs, unless.... on: July 05, 2019, 01:12:13 PM
Hold for 3 years - let's suppose the person buys some currency when the price was  $5000 but after 3 years the currency falls to $3000. then that person at the end of 3 years will suffer losses. Hold also has great risks and you need to know the time to sell with profits or losses.

If you invest today in some altcoin and hold for 3 years, then the chances for loss are probably more then 90%. Bitcoin is profitable for long-term holding, and altcoins should be used for short-term trading.

I think that's right, for beginners can choose both to trade long-term with bitcoin and trade daily with altcoin. I think that is the right choice, while learning how to do good trading procedures for several years. It's useless if it's only used for long-term trading and just keeping quiet, it won't add to your experience.
Have this long term trading work well? Absolutely it never works all the time. It is just a little bit of luck, choose of coins and in the right timing.
Have losses often to happen to long-term investment than of short-term.
I'm preferred to be at short-term trading cause we can actually play the market but our profits might be difficult during bear season.
5042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC procedure in online casinos does more good than bad or the other way around? on: July 05, 2019, 12:50:19 PM
I think many don't want KYC on gambling because of personal detail its sounds not safe to be known the details of gamblers, and some KYC need more time to approve so, they don't want to wait and they dont want a hassle thing will happened.
Most of these KYC accepting gambling platform's are not just going to deraile your sincere submission of your KYC but will eventually sell out your KYC, which is more reason gamblers online avoid them by all means because they cannot be trusted for a second. Personally I wouldn't gamble on a platform that require KYC before deposit or after deposit.
But most reputable gambling sites now require KYC now, and possibly the others will follow. It's a life-changing with gambling if they all require KYC, we have no choice but to follow their rules or stay away from online gambling. Anyway, we have that offline casino where we can still gamble. This won't be a big problem for us and not a big issue to take seriously.
5043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbetting odds, which do you prefer? on: July 05, 2019, 09:41:07 AM

I prefer chasing higher odds especially in live betting when I can see what is going on and it is easier to predict what might happen.

This style is good, I'm also a fan of live betting, I usually bet on a team with a high odds especially if I see that they have a chance of winning.
I think in live betting, gamblers who knows the game really well has a better chance of winning since the odds are already synchronize with the system they put in place, it's the system that is giving the odds and they don't see injuries during the game and if we found that it gives us value.
5044  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risks to consider before trading? on: July 04, 2019, 10:01:32 PM

the list is sort of a warning to every trader. while they are all true, it does look like we completely ignore those risks and it shows when you look at the price everyday.
the only risk i can add is that watching the charts can be really tiresome. if you don't wanna see yourself having heavy eye bags, don't look at the mirror. you'll feel less stress.
It would be a big help to wipe out those stress if we do some stuff's rather than on focusing on trading especially in bearish time. Definitely, s stressful life if we keep on watching the price that it only moves slowly and ain't help to make it recover. We can't eliminate this risk and it is really eating our mind if we keep thinking on it.
5045  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to keep your funds secured? on: July 04, 2019, 06:49:16 AM
I think you must keep your assets on hardware wallet or software wallet (on Windows / Linux / Android) , because exchanges are not safe anymore but not all exchanges.. just few of them. I said like this because I read article on few months ago , there was many exchanges got hacked like Coinbene , Cryptopia (and now closed) and also Binance , we know Binance is bigger exchange now than other but I read few month ago like 1-2 month ago Binance got hacked and user funds already replaced by Binance.

No to exchange if you like funds secured, the best choice is a hard wallet, you need to invest for this to protect your investment.
When you put in exchange, it could be hack or the exchange itself will be hack, and your money is gone. When you put it on your deskstop wallet, it's also risky as malware or phishing is what you enemy here.
5046  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Journey from gambling to trading on: July 04, 2019, 05:46:07 AM
Trading can become a game, if only you have decided to treat it this way, but it can bring you additional income, I made this area for myself this way!

Trading can be your main source of income as well, that's possible if you are good in this kind of game.
If you consider this a game, consider this a high risk game like gamble where you need a capital or bankroll to start your journey.
5047  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't FOMO in if you don't have what it takes - PATIENCE! on: July 04, 2019, 05:35:15 AM
Regret only come after you make a wrong decision and you can never tell if it's a wrong decision until it happen.
You suggested and you did your part, but being the one who owns bitcoin, we make a decision, it's just that his analysis is wrong that's why he loss and regretted his action.

However, we really can't assure anything, all we have to do is just do our best to analyze before making a decision as if the price would have dump lower, he could be a little happy now has he cut loses correctly, in short market is unpredictable and we are all playing a big guessing game.
5048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: taking decisions on: July 03, 2019, 10:58:26 PM
A wise person will be able to take a wise decision. How to be wise? Know the problem of the decision that you will decide. Analyze them, and make some considerations from the positive and negative sides. Then, taking a decision in the right time and place will be very good for all.
That is pretty good, but it doesn't meant that we can perfectly make it without a mistakes. Not only decision we have to take care of but also to give importance to our self-confidence in every decisions we've made. It is really be a tough decision in investing crypto and we need to be rush rather than to think it wisely.
5049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency In The Gambling Industry: All You Need To Know About Bitcoin on: July 03, 2019, 10:31:33 PM
The thing that really sucks about casinos using KYC is that it is sometimes used as a way to prevent users from withdrawing their winnings. Some casinos don't require KYC to play or deposit funds on their site but then request KYC when you try to withdraw, which is crappy for people trying to gamble with crypto somewhat anonymously. I'd also rather not give my information to a site just to gamble, when that information can potentially be sold off online and used maliciously.
Right. We chose to use cryptos in gambling because our real identities remain to be private and anonymous. But then KYC appears whic really sucks for most of us gamblers though it's for security measures but i still prefer to gamble on casinos that don't require KYC yet.And i think most of us here feel the same way too.
If we are afraid of exposing our personal details to them, then better to skip those gambling sites that requires KYC. But, it could be hard by now to find those sites that aren't asking for KYC upon registration cause majority of gambling sites by now have to ask it to verify the owner of this account. It is not a big deal for me if that certain site is legit unless if there is something we hide for.
5050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The consequences of gambling on: July 03, 2019, 10:12:25 PM
Well, gambling is good if we know our limitations but it could be hard to the people when they fall hard into gambling and they can't even realize that they are losing millions compared to their winnings. This is may be because they are blinded with the truth and addiction had fill into their minds. Ain't no problem if we are engaging too much in gambling but at least we got something profitable than of losing our entire funds.
5051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin crush the altcoins?! on: July 02, 2019, 11:42:38 AM
For now, Bitcoin dominance is about 60%. Many crypto enthusiasts consider it too high and waiting for and "altcoin season", but I do not think it will happen in the nearest future.

That's a normal dominance rate of bitcoin for now, it's been playing at 50 to 60% and that might stay for awhile when there altcoins will not start its own bull run. Today, bitcoin has drop and trading below $10,000 but the dominance is still the same because people are not transferring their money on altcoins yet, if the time comes they'll do maybe the market would be better and bitcoin will decrease its dominance to below 50%.
5052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Says Bear Market is BAD? on: July 02, 2019, 11:29:20 AM
There is basically two kinds of people during a bear market: those who suffer from it and those who see it as an opportunity and can buy cheap.

Correct, those who suffer are those who invest for long term but are weak because they panic, short term investors knows how volatile the market so they could cut lose if necessary, and they survive.

I'm a long term investor and I don't feel I'm suffering from bear market as I believe it was just temporary and I was right now, we are back to bullish trend again but still my target range is not yet achieve so I'm still holding now.
5053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum drop below $240 again do you believe? on: July 02, 2019, 11:22:51 AM
As it seems to me, so far no signs of that Ethereum can drop to $240 are visible. As the technical analysis shows, Ethereum aimed for $400 and most likely ETH will overcome this mark in the near future.

Currently traded at 280 usd, and it could drop again below $240 if bitcoin will not hold the $10,000 range.
I don't really care so much if the price will drop as ETH has no rise based on its independent action, it only reached $300 because BTC was mooning that time.
5054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB time to buy ? on: July 01, 2019, 11:19:55 PM
I never expected about Binance blockchain price. Only after own blockchain announce Binance hits the coinmarketcap top coin and now today dumped to invest.
As this short announcement will help for BNB promotion and it has good feedback after then. BNB shows market aggressiveness and it actually soaring high more than of any coin can do. Have this support from Binance exchange will simply give a boost and trusted by many. Will investors took this potentiality and make gains.
5055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: July 01, 2019, 08:22:28 AM
Too much positivity here....

In every thread of a good project, you can find more positive comments compared to the negative, here you'll see positive because we are talking of a great project which has already proven many times it could compete and it could bring profit to the investors.

Welcome here mate, hopefully you'll get involved to a more valuable discussion pertaining to the future of XRP.
5056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bounty conditions in the future on: July 01, 2019, 07:56:28 AM
I have joined and participated almost 30 bounties last year, but only 20% have been paid. This is really sad, but last year was a lesson for me to be more careful. And always DYOR, sometimes we cann't predict the future.

That percentage is not good, last year was really a bad year for bounty, but let me ask, in that 20% you sold, how much it's down compared to its ICO price in percentage? I'm sure most of the bounty hunters are selling below ICO price.
5057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to fill bag with altcoin on: June 30, 2019, 11:36:21 PM
I think it’s gonna be a good decision to fill your bag with altcoins. Because the price of altcoins is not pricey for now so it will not make a too much regrets in the future. Anything is possible so we can hope a better future for alts.
Well, I don't say that we are in perfect time to fill our bags nor the best time to buy more coins cause supposedly we are doing it in the first quarter, and the price is doubling right now and surely we get profit. But we can't be that optimistic that is why we never do that early, but anyway, the train is still running slowly and we can still catch it. Better have it now and never waits that we are in at high before making a steps.
5058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin crush the altcoins?! on: June 30, 2019, 11:08:36 PM
Maybe the price of Altcoin is like a river that flows, even though the price of bitcoin destroys Altcoin but we don't know what will happen. The altcoin price is still stable, down then rising again as last week's ETH price reached $ 330 and is currently down $ 300. We know that market prices are difficult to predict and this has become a market trading value line, only time can answer all.
It is not about a sort of competition nor to think that Bitcoin is crashing altcoins cause they are in different platforms and uses in the market.
We saw a huge growth of bitcoin compared to altcoins but not to think that they are competing with each other, it only to know that more investors are choosing Bitcoin for investment than of altcoins.
5059  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you want to invest in crypto? on: June 29, 2019, 11:04:58 PM
Investing in crypto is not a question to be asked npw as it serves as a pension retirement. old and young should try to invest on any reliable blockchain projects to establish total freedom from financial hardship
Is this an investment for all ages? I may think its not. Crypto investment is special, due to its high risk we can't say that everyone who investing crypto will succeed and so the others quit. If we want to invest in crypto, we have to be sure that we are prepared for anything and don't just a dumb investors in the future.
5060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A new kind of scam in telegram using gambling site on: June 28, 2019, 02:02:52 PM
Every people are looking for easy money but sometimes I wonder why they want to scam although they have skill let say marketing , sales ,etc
Also, people already getting smarter every time to time so it's wasting their time to scam, IMO
Those that want to scam are not ready to pass through the pain of developing skills and they are not ready to stress themselves in doing what is worthwhile. I do believe that their major desired is to make money in a fast way taking advantage of those that did not know what their intentions are. My advice is for us to be careful and think before sending coins to anyone
That's their evil job. The sad note is that, we can't stop them and we can't also those people who wants quick profits without doing anything. That's their target and we can't deny that still a lot of people become their victims, I may think that they aren't still learning and they don't even realize what will happen later.
