5085  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Brexit news - The UK may have left the EU on: April 01, 2019, 08:08:23 AM
There were a lot of factors why the UK left the European Union but I have read an article before that the EU is now trying to initiate the globalization. BREXIT or British exit argued that by reclaiming sovereignty, the UK would be better able to manage their immigration, free itself enormous regulations and start more dynamic growth.

If you want to read more about it, here's the link: What Brexit Means
Enjoy watching. Wink

5088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not about ''get rich fast'' !! on: April 01, 2019, 07:08:06 AM
To be honest, most of peoples think that bitcoin is a quick rich method. No one thinking about financial freedom. We should change our mind and should learn more about bitcoin. Without proper knowledge we will not able to discover of bitcoin vision. It's true bitcoin would give us good output but it doesn't mean that it is quick its quick rich method.
Its true, most are users are investors, so I'm not surprised if most users think so. is there something wrong if the user thinks that bitcoin is a way to rich in instant? I think it doesn't matter to be an encouragement for each user to work!
Literally and technically, of course! I don't know why some people think about bitcoin as an investment scheme and that is one of the reasons why they were getting fooled by the people in the industry. Bitcoin isn't about getting rich, it's a currency where you will be able to access as an asset but the thing is, there are times that the prices are volatile and it is a new technology to try.

Bitcoin is like gold, where miners can produce by mining the blocks. And people can invest their money through it, but the thing is that gold has a physical object and bitcoin is fully digital.
5089  Other / Meta / Re: Souvenirs from the Bitcointalk.org on: April 01, 2019, 02:03:44 AM

5091  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Breakout Scheduled for August, Says Fundstrat’s Tom Lee on: March 31, 2019, 11:57:00 PM
I don't advise myself to trust and expect these kinds of predictions but I find him that he had his researches before predicting it. But some of the people don't trust Thomas Lee and said that he is actually a liar. But I can tell that he is an analyst, not a future teller so we can't actually hate him. He nailed pas predictions and some people agree with him. Bitcoin is a way undervalued at the moment hence why Jack Dorsey Twitter CEO is buying bulk paying $10k a week. #check the comments on the link you have shared.
5092  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in the Event of a Global Economic Crisis on: March 31, 2019, 11:36:34 PM
Cryptocurrency/Bitcoin will have at least a 5% effect in the Global Economic Crisis. As I have read, there will be a big event where the crisis will go back to the global economy. The U.S is already investigating the trillion worth lending that would cause a big crisis in the world. Bitcoin will be one of the best choices for the tycoons to move their assets besides gold. However, gold is the best option during these kinds of scenarios. Gold is the best investment or asset and Bitcoin is an alternative only. But we will see it soon.
5093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just another gambling strategy! on: March 31, 2019, 06:55:25 PM
How many times did you use this gambling strategy? Did you already use it for at least 1,000 times to consider it effective with at least 60% winning rate? Then if not, I wouldn't consider it as a great gambling strategy but thanks for sharing though. In gambling, you should expect that you will lose and win depends on your luck but the real thing is that, you have to bet the assets you only afford to lose, and that's it.
5094  Economy / Economics / Re: Important conditions for the progress of bitcoin on: March 31, 2019, 05:05:29 PM
My contradiction is that in the cryptocurrency industry we don't have a government regulated exchange at the moment because no country have publicly come out to pledge it support for cryptocurrency because they see it as volatile and not stable for consumption.
Really?
There are a lot of factors that affect the economic stability and growth of the bitcoin. There are also so a lot of matters we need to accept and we have to lessen our expectations of it. As of today, Bitcoin is at its bear market condition as the former bitcoin investors were fooled by the Hyip schemes and already thought that bitcoin is a scam because they did not even study it.

In my country, if you ask a person about bitcoin, young or old, different professions, what they will tell you is that bitcoin is an investment scheme and this is very disappointing. It affects the growth of the currency and we have to consider it.
5095  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What's for sale at your Craigslist? on: March 31, 2019, 04:47:54 PM
It is actually my first time to know about this Craiglist.com and I find it very convenient, I guess?

But yes, today we can actually use our cryptocurrencies to buy our stuff. Let me just find the links of the sites where you will be able to have a card that will serve as your debit card with your cryptocurrencies. But yes, as of today I would be more than happy to access your shared site, as well and thank you so much!
5096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who are they behind ico? on: March 31, 2019, 03:27:28 PM
It is extremely important to have a great team by every project. Without team members it is impossible to reach success, because a good project always needs good marketing, promotions, developing plans and expansion.
The people behind the ICO's are the people who founded the project of course. There is no such thing as an only person behind the ICOs. They are some group of people who are the pioneers of cryptocurrency and decided to establish their companies out of the trend.

Well, if you were a pioneer as well and you have been in the industry since day 1, of course, you will have the motivation to be the first people to establish and adopt the blockchain technology. So for just a quick recap, the people behind ICOs are random. But one thing is for sure that they are the pioneers in cryptocurrencies, end of the story.
5097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Our new idea for a crypto wallet on: March 31, 2019, 02:57:53 PM
If you want your wallet to be different from the other wallets is that you have to make sure that the security is fully established. You have to convince your local government that your wallet is a great one to trust and that is really hard. In fin-technology, even though you can develop the greatest wallet, you have to make sure that you can avoid being stopped by the regulations because if they do, then you will fail.
5098  Economy / Economics / Re: The History of Gold and Silver Points to the future of Cryptocurrency on: March 31, 2019, 05:49:35 AM
Quote
too many financial interactions between humans to be covered by gold. There's simply not enough gold for that. That's why cryptos like Bitcoin might come in handy after the collapse

The price of gold will rise to about 10,000 an ounce is the calculation I heard by Jim Rickards, any less of a price would be too tight a standard to allow commerce easily.    You cant assume the conditions present now with gold unused  will be close to a world where dollar is a minor to backing by gold.
snip-
I have an interesting link to an article that differentiated gold and bitcoin and also compared them. (But sadly I forgot where it is)

Unlike bitcoin, gold is indeed tangible where you will also be able to use as a piece of jewelry, not just an investment.
Gold has been used as a form of currency for more than 2,000 years and considered as one of the safest and secured investments of all since the value doesn't depreciate mostly.

But yes, bitcoin is also created by mining just like gold, but there's a gap compared to gold because bitcoin is mined electronically and that is a very big discussion if bitcoin would like to ask for an investor. Gold is a physical object and bitcoin is entirely digital. Just check the article and you will know more.
5099  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela hit by new nationwide powercut for more than three days on: March 31, 2019, 05:31:09 AM
snip-
We have seen that it has no effects whatsoever to global crypto currency ecosystem. But the sad part is the collateral damage, those children. We as adult can somewhat tolerate heat or cold. But those children, damn, it will be very hard for them to cope with this circumstances.
Maybe you were right,
The power cut in Venezuela won't affect the global cryptocurrency economy since Venezuela is barely considered as one of the users of the currency. If you will check the statistics and the forecast, you will never see Venezuela as one of the drivers of bitcoin. Usually, you'll see China, Russia, us and Japan as the players and if one of them had a nationwide power cut, then that is the time that would affect the cryptocurrency economy.
