5081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion] The International 2019: Dota 2 World Championship on: August 21, 2019, 05:55:16 AM
Where the fans at? I'm disappointed with the crowd.

--> https://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/csrfns/crowd_boos_tnc/

I was watching the live games late last night. The last game was between Mineski against Natus Vincere. It was a very incredible show of performance by Team Mineski with their unbelievable come-back play but the stadium was silent. The chinese crowd has already left, perhaps because there was no more chinese team on the match. The seats are already vacant even before the game has started. I don't like the way the audience behaved. They watched not because they love Dota 2 or TI but only because they cheering for their own chinese teams.
China crowd do really sucks and why such production do consider to held the international on shanghai? We didnt expect for these chinese to be salty like this.
You would really feel that theres no crowd around unlike on previous where you can feel out the true essence of sports gaming because of the unbiased crowd unlike now which shows the opposite.
5082  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin resume its' Bulish momentum after Bakkt Announcement! on: August 21, 2019, 04:42:20 AM
Ouch... we just had another dump of several hundred dollars down to a line that I'm carefully watching as it's been a point of action recently. 1D MACD was close to flipping green before this dump but this has delayed it, and the 4H MACD is now flipping red. We're still up over the last few days but this is a bit painful returning back to these levels once more. Not super surprised considering bulls were losing momentum and volume was lowering before the dump. Undecided whether or not to be bullish or bearish for the short term at the moment, but I'm still long and mid-term bullish.

On the other hand, we're right back to where we were a couple days ago.
Good thing i have shorted $10800.These kind of mini dumps isnt really new anymore. No matter how good the technicals showing bullish possible momentum it can always be destroyed by Bitcoin's unpredictable market. We are heading back and forth to those previous levels that we had passed. For active trades, these kind of movements can be utilize to make profits but goes also same on losing money.Dont care too much on any Bakkt announcement though yet these news cant fully dictate on what would be the possible trend of the market.

5084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Ask The Bounty Team before joining on: August 20, 2019, 07:10:00 PM
Another phrase that could be a cheat is their early claim that the 'campaign rule could be changed any time', so if it could be changed what else are we sure we cam hold on to? I still beleive a bounty manager that seek the confidence and trust from his participants will try to satisfy them with the agreed reward.
Well if that was told when or before campaign started it's fine IMO, since all bounty hunter who want to join have read the rules first. If they are decided to join and in the end of campaign they got cheated by that rules, it's their own fault. If they don't like that rules, don't join it.
Not all bounty hunters do  really read up bounty rules anytime and i can attest to that. They would just complain in the end when theres such changes happen.
We can understand if the said changes arent affecting the pay distribution date but most likely this is the main issue where most projects do give of.
You can ask on early phase but if the team didnt get their expected results then the next step is on giving out bounters to have a headache.lol
5085  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: 🚀 Bitcoin Turn - new bitcoin live queue 🚀 the project like nothing before on: August 20, 2019, 06:24:20 PM
No, we are not HYIP we are pure MLM scheme. You may get 100% after one hour or one week but it is guaranteed. We do not have fixed terms for interest payments like in Hyips programs. Therefore, everything is honest here, the project will work while the line moves. There is no dependence on the number of payment requests and the number of deposits. If the number of deposits decreases, then the queue simply starts to move slowly.

I wouldn't consider your scheme a MLM scheme. You are not really offering any product or service to "market." What you are offering is a pyramid scheme, and since investors are only paid from proceeds of later investors, it is a Ponzi.

5087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How people fund their Sportsbooks on: August 20, 2019, 03:17:06 PM
Privately funded sportsbook all the way. I never ever had the interest for those who do offer tokens and just like what majority said here that tokens do lose up value and mostly die in the end. This is why we cant see sportsbook that having this set-up.Lots of them tried though but the outcome is still the same.
About legal matters i dont have much idea about it.
5088  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitdouble.io |social gambling game |Prov fair | 0.005 mBit faucet | New PVP game on: August 19, 2019, 10:51:59 PM
Official announcement.

We are sorry, but there are some tech issues with our platform. We expect to come back within 1 week.

0. No any troubles with Bitcoin wallet.
1. Database is in safe and even with latest rolls and bubbles.
2. We have lost all user avatars, and no way to recover them. And it looks like we have lost LN backup, so if you opened direct channels to our servers, please close them.

For tech guys: monitor your SSD drives! Our RAID-1 array has lost one drive some time ago and nobody got any notification about that. :/

Some shocking news to my previous Bitdouble Family! Hope all things will be fixed up.  Cry
5089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FUD! Chinese Ponzi Scheme, PlusToken Suspiciously Moved $240 Million! on: August 19, 2019, 07:14:14 PM
While the market is trying to recover from its last week drop, another news that may caused FUD has surfaced, this very news is talking about how the $3 billion Chinese ponzi scheme move $240 million worth of cryptocurrency.

Full story here: https://www.cryptoinformers.info/news/10370-chinese-ponzi-scheme-plustoken-suspiciously-moved-240-million

But is it that some people are only using it cause panic or what?
Expect for these kind of news that do suddenly pop out.We dont know if they are solely intended for fud or just purely a negative news that had just been discovered.
This will depend on how the community would react to it but since it do mention or talks about ponzi scheme then its a negative one and with this very speculative market, any negative news can potentially give some impact.
5090  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is a bitcoin head tail site without gambling license illegal? on: August 19, 2019, 06:45:17 PM
Hi, Im from Canada. Crypto isnt controlled by the government but it can be exchange into fiat currency so im wondering if crypto online gambling sites need a license?. License is sooo expensive for an online gambling site. Thanks
License would vary or depend on your countries laws towards gambling. You can operate freely if theres no such jurisdiction.
On the other side, players or gamblers do much prefer on playing to sites that do have licensed compared to those who havent.
5091  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐁🐁MiceRace.com -The worlds first mouse racing gambling platform !🐁🐁 on: August 19, 2019, 06:10:04 PM
As I see your live is different, it depends on which mouse will go on long distance at first? Because they don't run, they are just in one place and then decide what to do.

Do you expect for it to be liked a mice race like in movies? lol. You cant expect to be like that and they would either run or walk.
As long it would able to reach that finish line then thats what really matter. You cant control those mices on what to do and how to move.
This is what makes this betting exciting.
5092  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is bithumb.pro a Good Platform for Crytopcurrency Exchange? on: August 19, 2019, 05:45:20 PM
I do not know that this site (bithumb.pro) is legitimate because the main link is bithumb.com[1]
So it looks like it's just a phishing site, where did you get it?
Also, the comments above seem either misleading or just spam.
you have to make sure the platform is using popular sites like CMC/exchanges.

[1] https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/bithumb/
What would you expect for those noobs? They would just simply go with the flow and believing that they are talking with Bithumb.com
as long theres a bithumb on it,they wouldnt care if its phishing or not.lol
Its clear OP that this one is just a phishing site so stay away with it and the legit one is being provided already.

I can log in normal. I guess it is fixed now.
Site works fine on my end.Currently have 38 players online so its fixed yet Boxxob announced the issue 10 hours ago.
5094  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Triangular Arbitrage on Binance still profitable ? on: August 19, 2019, 04:41:18 PM
I'm wondering if anyone use such service or bot and if it's still profitable?

I personally don't use them, but I do a bit of trading on the side. Is it profitable? Take note that the bot is just sort like the 'shell'. The profitability will completely depend on the indicators and pretty much your overall strategy. Don't look at bots as something you would just turn on and make you money forever without interacting with it and adjusting the indicators and stuff.
This had always been the first impression on most newbies that these bots can generate easy profits for them without even knowing or realizing that
these things do still need to be tweaked up by the user itself and when they do lost up their money or capital they do took the blame with the bot.lol
5095  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: How we’re killing scams on Telegram on: August 19, 2019, 02:00:35 PM
I like the idea but this line would just put this into trash
Quote
1. Maintains a database of Verified users in the group - verified means they have completed KYC with us and we have their ID, selfie, phone, email, an keybase.io profile on file (PS to admins, would be great if bitcointalk set themselves up to be connected to keybase like twitter, reddit, hackernews, and many others)
If exchangers would handle out our documents then its considerable but kyc just for telegram verification? I think not.
5096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots with Penny Games and free faucet on: August 18, 2019, 10:28:08 PM
Although you can make money by playing slots using faucet money, why not just use faucets and play at a game with a higher return to player rate, like dice?

You can usually find scipts that will automatically claim faucet then use that faucet balance to place a high multiplier bet.

Even if you can't find the script, it's usually not too difficult to create it yourself or hire a freelancer to do it, even with no experience.
The question is,do he have the money to pay up or hire a freelancer? He's talking about faucet and not to underestimate this guy wont bother on
spending how many bucks for such scripts and whatsoever.I presume that he do target out slots with free faucets hoping to hit up some jackpot
but with those free pennies its almost impossible to hit it up.
5097  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BTCMiddleMan.com - Secure escrow for Bitcoin & Litecoin transactions on: August 18, 2019, 09:16:53 PM
Not to be salty but below 0.01 transactions are way too high 3%? No thanks.! Also its much better to trust up old time reputable members on this forum rather than using a new service.

5098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs Fury 2: The Rematch on: August 18, 2019, 08:23:45 PM

From the get-go, every aspect of life is gambling cause no one knows for sure what the future holds and you right when you said the rematch between Anthony and Ruiz will make us know if Ruiz previous win is a fluke but their rematch is somehow related with Wilder and Fury rematch.
Meanwhile, you still cant say Khabib upcoming fight is an easy win fight than Anthony vs Ruiz or Wilder vs Fury fight, for tomorrow are not promised.

Well, you can predict with reasonable certainty what the future holds.

1. Tyson Fury was completely robbed against Deontay Wilder, one judge had them even on the score cards even without the knockdown rounds! That's freaking impossible.
2. Andy Ruiz didn't just beat Joshua by accident, he absolutely destroyed him in my opinion. People thinking that Joshua has to win the rematch because the first was a fluke are delusional. There were no lucky punches, no low blows, no injuries etc. Andy Ruiz stands a very good chance of counterpunching the s*** out of JOshua for a second time.
People cant still moved on with that upset match of Joshua and Ruiz eh?
I do really see lots of people saying that thing was a fluke and now they are confident too much that Joshua will definitely have that
rematch without even thinking on how Ruiz would prepare for this one proving out that one isnt a fluke but rather a pure skill.
About wilder and Fury first match was indeed controversial but well we should move on and lets see on how this rematch will prove out whose the best among the two.
5099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitman Miners are not designed well on: August 18, 2019, 07:29:14 PM
You mean Bitmain? Holy smokes! you are trying to compete with them? Why would directly need $2B investment.
Just create a single prototype that would show a miner will having that 1000% efficiency compared to their current miners.
On that it would be enough for people to fund you up. lol

Explain please what do you mean by prototype ? do you mean that I should reveal the secrets that how it is made ? and then companies try to build these miners ? I am not stupid.
I mean, you dont need have billions of money to create one.Why not took a loan and create that single miner of yours? For sure it wont cost million of dollars of expense.A several hundreds would do because no investor would tend to give funding into such so-called great ideas in mind.
5100  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is Coinbase a safe wallet ? on: August 18, 2019, 06:32:00 PM
Not at all, online wallet are the most risky because of various reasons like-
1. Hacking
2. Limiting Account
Unlike bitcoin core, you don't have any control over coinbase or the same types of wallet. Coinbase, in general, is an exchange and a wallet for the newbie who get trapped by them by google.
But they also have some security to restrict this like for hacking they have 2fa and login shield when the access happening from unknown device which may save lot of hacks.

Limiting account means don't have control over funds right, but this is good thing for the newbie who don't know what fee need to use for transacting so they get end up setting default fee from coinbase but newbies need to learn quickly about crypto wallets rather than trusting online wallets for long time.
Why comparing Bitcoin Core wallet to Coinbase? Its just like comparing apple to oranges (desktop wallet vs exchange wallet).
Its clear that which one is better hence, coinbase is an exchange and majority does know that if you store up funds on an exchange wallet which
you dont own the keys then you simply dont own those coins completely when you store it up there.
