522  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin price so stable in 2018? on: January 28, 2018, 11:15:04 PM
maybe you have another definition of "Stability" cause I can't seem to agree with that, maybe we're just used to bitcoin prices surging like crazy like the other year. But todays market still shows sign of volatility though it's not the same as last year but we're just still in 1st quarter of 2018, so we can't be sure what lies in the future.
523  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sucks, I'll just hold my coins on: January 28, 2018, 11:10:33 PM
Yesterday I just lost 1.8k USD, maybe in USA or in West Europe that's doesn't much, but here in my shitty country that's a f* big amount of money. Here the minimum wage is ~ 300 USD / month. So that's like 6 month of work if I cut my bread and water and live on air. Half of my saving were other investments, but anyways... I'm feeling shitty right now. Oh, and I break my laptop. So yeah, that's another - 500 usd.

I though I can trade. Buy low, sell high. Sounds good, doesn't work.

Looking at the charts and candle sticks and watching old bitcoin values, and huge spikes (pump, I saw here how people uses the pump word, daaaamn...) I was... yeah, I can totally do that. I'll just buy when it's low, and sell it when it reaches the top. Well, I was wrong. You can't see the future, otherwise everyone would be a millionaire. That would be true if you would have a delorean from '85 with Emmett Brown and Marty Mcfly and you could f* travel in future and see the PUMPS!!!1

So anyone who will read this message (noobs like me) if you don't have any trading experience, don't do it. There are expert traders who know how this market works, when to buy and when to sell. Don't assume your skills by watching youtube videos and reading "daily indexes and predictions" of how the price will rise or go down by shitty sites. That's just dumb. You don't know what's gonna happen. Maybe a little bit of luck, or I don't know.

So yeah, from now on, I'll just leave the trading area for experts and I will invest in bitcoin by buying every 2 week or monthly and saving into my wallet. And one day (I hope so) the price will rise and I will buy for my self a delorean.

Cheers!

I feel you mate, I remember when I started trading like a year ago. I lost everything trading bitcoin to another coin, it did frustrates me but did not stop me. Failing is part of being the success, but yeah if you don't have any luck or knowledge understand the market and controlling your emotions then you are bound to fail.
524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: January 28, 2018, 11:03:09 PM
I don't think so as surges and falls are normal for bitcoin. It's a new industry so people need to pay attention to its habits in history. Look in the past: there's surges and falls. It's normal. It'll keep going up and up.
Ethereum has surges and plateaus, surges and plateaus. Watch whatever cryptocurrency you want and pay attention to its volatility/ stability.
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Money on: January 28, 2018, 10:57:58 PM
Crypto won't be a currency until governments give up control of currency, and that is the very last thing they will ever do. That is most likely a very long way away. I hate gov control of currency, I'm just trying to be realistic. I'm basically saying that true decentralized crypto will be national or global currency. I hope this happens in 5 years, but again, I'm trying to be realistic.

526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Choose a Good ICO on: January 28, 2018, 10:50:37 PM
Team behind about certain project and support from the community, also one other factor you may want to add is, how many coins are being offered by the ICO; ordinarily, lower numbers of offered coins attracts most people.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: better profit on: January 28, 2018, 05:10:46 PM
all of the choices you gave would give better profit from one another, though the risk involve would matter in this one. If you are an experience trader than the best option would be Trading of course, ICO offers better profit to people who want "Quick or instant profit" though not all are successful, less riskier and more positive result and the best option is holding, holding will enable the full potential of the project behind the coin followed by the price increase.

529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you predict coins will be stable again? on: January 28, 2018, 05:00:51 PM
Very rare to find a coin with a stable price, as we all know the volatile price of every token or coin. Anything can happen soon, some get pumped for no reason and get dump in an instant, but for me in my own opinion getting stable state is when a coin got dump but able to come back from the dump. I can only see one stable coin/token in the market which is the tether lol.
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance... is this place a scam? on: January 28, 2018, 04:51:01 PM
relax network congestion is common. Binance is one of few reputable exchange at the moment, there are risk though that's why I don't put my coins in exchange when not trading.  You can also experience withdrawal suspension on every exchange  due to technicalities , nothing to worry about.

532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In what coin to invest 70$? I just have no more money( on: January 27, 2018, 06:03:38 PM
To add light with all the negativity about how low or little your investment is, it really doesn't matter how much you can afford. Base on my experience, I was in your shoe back then I only have 50 - 100$ left in me. Manage to grab some bitcore at that moment which was priced 1$ back then after a month or two prices started to pump, from 1$ price went as high as 30$ , after that I look for a promising alt coin again which is minexcoin which was about to be traded in exchange that time, again for the second time I manage to buy 300mnx for a price of 1.20$ each, waited not so long as minex price shoots up to 66$ each and managed to sell everything when it hits 55$.  Maybe I was just lucky I found a coin that was about to get pump  Grin Don't get discouraged grab some "WaN" if price ranges from 2 - 3$ and then hold.

536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I Buy or Sell now? on: January 27, 2018, 12:00:22 AM
Almost everyones advice is to hold, but in all honesty. It's your choice, if you're financially stable at the moment no need to sell. If you hit your goal price then it's up to you to decide, should you sell? Maybe. Should you buy more? Yes of course if you had more money, take every risk drop every fear  Smiley
537  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes in trading that lead to loss of money on: January 26, 2018, 11:32:54 PM
Mistakes is inevitable, Last time I doubled my investment and lost everything including the principle just because I used bigger size and narrow stop loss.Bigger size of trades in intraday is the culprit. You get tense when market start consuming Your profit which you earned, along with the principle and u will be stuck making multiple trade to get back what is yours from the market.
538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of hacked Japanese exchange on market on: January 26, 2018, 11:18:17 PM
Obviously this would result to another overall market dip but not the same dip as China and Korea regulations scenario. anyway. But how can we confirm its not inside work right? Court of law its almost impossible to find out or find evidence. --On the other hand a lot people have the false impression of complete security and anonymity behind firewalls and other protection software. We have become complacent through deceitful promises and groundless guarantees from security experts and products. Fact is, NOBODY is safe anymore as hackers come up with more clever ways to exploit infrastructure at will, every single day.  There is nothing more dangerous to enterprise than a persistent and motivated hacker.

540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl bitcoin or split it in many altcoins ??? on: January 26, 2018, 07:05:29 AM
Don't put your eggs in one basket, if you want to maximize your earnings you can simply divide your money with different promising ALTS, example to that is ethereum. Just take every risk as an opportunity , Though I don't see bitcoin as a useless investment but at the moment bitcoin is very bearish, this is just an opinion. Still, your decision matters and don't let anyone opinion affects your investment strategy.
