DCT is a very promising project , i know there are people who trying to make money with bitcoin and earn some money maybe but i think that DCT is a much better way to invest and earnings will be much more when content is distributed on the network

What your experience with it ? I just got my Skyminer in the mail so i dont have any experience with it just yet. I would like to clarify that this is not a miner in the regular sense. Skycoin does not use POW or POS consensus, the word "miner" is being used to communicate to the public that this is the vehicle through which participants can share in emissions of Skycoin and earn Coinhours as well. On the Skywire testnet, payouts in Skycoin will be contingent on the whitelisting of DIY units (official units are automatically whitelisted) This is because it may cause unforseen complications early on if people are getting too creative with their DIY units. Potential payouts are capped by available system resources and available bandwidth. The amount of bandwidth that one orange pi prime can handle is 100 mbps, So a cluster of 8 needs to be handling 800 mbps before it becomes a bottleneck. Hey guys! I set up masternode like in Video. So the problem is masternode is running for more that 24 hr. All statuses are active but no rewords is coming. What should i check guys. Pls need your help  Initial payout takes way longer. Check out https://explorer.alqo.org/masternodes. There you see a initial waiting time and you can search for your IP to check the status of your masternode. I would wait for 2 days + and check back on it. Should work fine if you can find your node in the explorer |

10.000 per MN I get that, I mean value proposition as in what exactly will masternode hodlers receive? My current understanding is that everyone that is staking is currently getting 10%. There was a statement in the original whitepaper that basically said the current 10% may (or may not ) be reserved only for masternodes at some point. Team also stated at one pt that they would do their best to make the masternodes valuable, which implied to me that there is a scenario where masternodes could receive even more rewards than just the 10% staking. Bottom line is that I haven't seen a clear confirmation of what the masternodes will receive exactly, and the second whitepaper didn't even really talk about masternodes. The price of a masternode is getting really cheap right now and it's looking like a great time to enter for those that aren't scared. It would be nice to be have somewhat of a concrete idea of the masternode value because it's a great selling point. The Masternodes will have a higher ROI than staking. I really don't think it's appropriate to discuss about Coin matrix here again. You can always request community vote when we really have working Stone product and Testnet launch. I would rather request you to release the code to community and discuss about some road map of actual product.

Felixando, My take (see below) is we have 8 people saying yes to coin burn, 4 saying yes but only after code is released and 3 saying no or that it is a stupid idea. From that, I think democracy would say a coin burn should happen and should happen anytime even before code. Ultimately the decision is yours but the preference seems to be a coin burn and probably soon. YES TO COINBURNThreenigma - I would be in favor of this.
PM_ME_VITALIK_MEMES - I think everyone who donated would be in favor of this. As a community member only, I am still in favor of it myself too. I don't think anyone would be against burning some of the tokens except XRB and BTC whales haha.
Yeuph - although I am *almost* neutral - if I were to vote I would vote for the coin burn.
Praedium - I'm in favor of this, as long as donators will still receive the same number of coins they would have without the burn.
Clausewitz - People like private coins with low supply. Less supply = more interest.
riskthebiscuit - I am in favor of reducing the coins and doing a burn but also I am biased because I donated so take it with grain of salt. Overall though, even if I didn't donate less coins are more valuable so a burn seems like an objectively good plan.
StoneSoup - I'd like to see a coin burn down to around 100 million. To me this seems like a good number of coins and is used in quite a few other popular coins.

nem is officially in the shitter. I hope it can climb back out.. but as of now nem has retraced or given back almost 100% of the gains it made in dec/jan...
that is pathetic. Many of the others have suffered pretty big setbacks as well, but not 100% worth. I hope the bleeding stops soon. Nobody seems interested in the coin, volume is a pathetic $17 million.. not many are buying or selling and there is zero hype or interest it seems.
I wonder if nem blew its wad during that $2 runup and will take years to recover.. hopefully not because it will be forgotten if that is the case.

Because hype is the only thing that buyers are interested in. They don't care about several failed attempts to start the whitelist registration and KYC, compromised administrators in Telegram or unanswered questions. I would not trust this project any of my personal data or my money. But everyone decides for themselves. well the telegram has been muted and the whitelist is open again. would be interesting to see how this projects develops |
