522  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Tanya Jawab Seputar Forum Disini/Ask about this forum here! on: August 10, 2017, 04:34:38 AM

i am becoming active in the crypto industry again and would love to suggest a few ways for fedora to move towards...
who is at all responsible for TiPs at the moment? lets wake this baby up!

looks still very much alive, reddit is active https://www.reddit.com/r/FedoraCoin/
and it seems the current btctalk page is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1420302.740

thiec you are on that page, is it the official one now? i see as you wrote there that the old chain is dead now and we should move to the new chain? if so maybe we should make a post here to direct lost members like me to the new page hehe and maybe close this one

LOL.. beside btc and ltc, i only have tips in my portfolio before i am busy IRL, so after i active online again, i have to stay here to keep me updated.
This thread is official thread for OLD BLOCKCHAIN that currently stock and DEAD

If you have balance before hardfork to be happened than you just install new tips wallet to claim your balance.
NEW TIPS thread can be find here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1420302.0
524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TiPS ★ Kimotos Gravity Well ★ World first coin anonymizer launched! on: August 09, 2017, 04:22:38 PM
Hello im looking for the following information on TIPS; When did the fork happen? Why was there a fork? Have exchanges with TIPS updated their wallets after the fork? What is the network hashrate? Is there current dev support? Any future plans? Where is the official source of TIPS news/ announcements?

Thanks in advance.

I dont remember when its fork. You can check few old thread and fork thread to find the answer there.

Here the old thread :
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=391192.0 (The early tips)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=552233.0 (New development)

New fork Thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1420302.0
wallet at https://github.com/fedoracoin-dev/fedoracoin

The fork seem to be mandatory because of potential the chain stuck at the block with fix reward and its really happen.
Thanks to few member that care about TIPS and make some update to it

Before hardfork, only bter exchange have TIPS pair to be traded. After hard fork, bter continue use old blockchain dan block all communication to move fork blockchain.

After hardfork with new exchanger like novaexchange and coinexchange pick up the fork chain TIPS and trade until now.

Since we lost old dev and fork is community take over, we dont have official web to trace TIPS and thank to zpool to include TIPS in their explorer.

525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: August 08, 2017, 12:24:54 PM
Does anyone have any idea how many D3s are going to be released in the past 3 batches? I was doing some calculations on difficulty and hashrate and came up with 1 GH/s adds about 22.5 to difficulty. So, one D3 would add 337.5 at 15 GH/s. I'm trying to see if it would be worth getting some in their next release.
Rumor has it;

Batch 1 = 200 units
Batch 2 = 3000 units
Batch 3 = 3500 units

If so....by your calculations an additional 2,328,750 Difficulty from current?

Real numbers are:
B1: 250 07/18/2017
B2: 3300 07/20/2017
B3: 35000 08/03/2017

It never hit 35k logically by online sale, If there were 35k than its must be sale behind or off the site.
And the number is no where to confirm

What are the dimensions of the D3 and L3+ Miner in mm ?

D3
320*130*190mm

L3+
352mm (l) x 130mm (w) x 187.5mm (h)

Guys, can someone tell me (experienced one Cheesy), can 1200W Seasonic SSR-1200GD PSU handle Antminer D3? In my country is impossible to buy 1300-1600w PSU.

If i were you, i wont take the risk to power up D3 with 1200W PSU. Even with 1300W, you need platinum one.

Although your miner still run but you risk your miner lifespan
528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 08, 2017, 10:48:00 AM
Look at this :
There have been 233 blocks mined since the hard fork.

(836 blocks behind the original chain)

The Bitcoin Cash blockchain is currently operating at 17% of the original chain's difficulty.

The original chain has grown 850.28MB more than the Bitcoin Cash blockchain.

It is currently -100% more profitable to mine on the original chain.

Be prepare for big pump soon... More miners will jump into this...

I never saw the text that you post. I think you copy paste from coin dance
https://cash.coin.dance/blocks

Code:
There have been 234 blocks mined since the hard fork.
(866 blocks behind the original chain)

The Bitcoin Cash blockchain is currently operating at 17% of the original chain's difficulty.

The original chain has grown 879.44MB more than the Bitcoin Cash blockchain.

It is currently 76% more profitable to mine on the original chain.

I think the price will reflect how much the diff will go up, if this batch have much lower price than we know that last batch sold much more than we thought (backdoor sale to gigawatt maybe)

Bitmain will do they own calculation for the price. Since they have solid number of D3 than anyone else. As their past sale product, its never let you ROI in several month for the current coin price.

We are pleased to inform you that we will release a new batch of the Antminer D3 at this link at 5 PM, on 10 August, (GMT+8)!

Shipping for this batch will start on a “first paid, first ship” basis after 1 November 2017. If we advance the shipment, we will notify you.

Only BTC and LTC payments are accepted as payment methods for this batch.

New batch of D3s in a couple days.

Seems like Gigawatt did indeed have inside info about bitmain batches.

Where did they post that? I'm. It seeing it in their twitter feed or forum posts.

Email. Maybe they email previous buyers a couple days earlier.

Do anyone could confirm this claim? If this is true than the "pre-order business" that use wire transfer will gone.
BUT the buyer have to start stock up their btc/ltc to their budget with little extra in case the price go down that make btc/ltc value drop
533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 07, 2017, 09:11:47 AM
step 1-  hold btc..get free bcc..pump bcc  (has happened)
step 2 - sell bcc...buy btc...pump btc ,dump bcc (just happened)
step 3 - dump btc...buy bcc...pump bcc  (coming next)

Rinse and repeat Smiley
That's what I feel whales are doing with many projects cooperating with devs Smiley

I dont think just BCC, step 3 involve other altcoin too, so the answer may be not pump bcc but others coin.  Grin
With bittrex will start to delivery their bcc, another dump will be accured imho.
534  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: August 07, 2017, 09:02:56 AM
I understand that you are a fan of all things BMT, but what makes you to be an expert on S9?  Tongue
1) I'm not a "fan".
2) Experience with ~1,000 units?

1% number could be accurate with regards to recent batches of autotuning 13.5Th machines, but initial batches (last summer, not autotuning) had up to 10% (or even a bit higher) board failure rate (within first couple of months) according to multiple sources, which was amply documented here and elsewhere.

Perhaps, most machines that you got were purchased during later part of 2016 or in 2017.

In summary, we have a better S9 in modification (from 12TH to 14TH) which have reducing the failure rate each batch, do we?

I found out that so many post how their antminer S9 not working well, any opinion about it?
How many percentage to have "defect" one?

537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Time for iBeLink to Win Hearts of Miners on: August 06, 2017, 06:20:52 AM
How do you think, what would be the price of this miner?
and what is the price of iBeLink DM11G?

Well the exact answer is known by force of nature or iBeLink  Cheesy

If they have good business strategy they would go for $3000 as its October delivery and Bitmain is already sold October batch for $1600 so people may buy for $3000 giving the benefit of extra hashes and lower power consumption.

yes, from business view, if you sell in quantity then you can make up your lose in profit margin. So its not a good practice to force the price when some competitor have better price.
538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: August 05, 2017, 06:36:17 AM
With D3 last batch price as base price, here my math

D3 = $1599 = 15 GHs
1 GHs = $106.6

A5 = 30.2 GHs x 106.6 = $3219.32
DM22G = 22 GHs x 106.6 = $2345.2

Without factored power efficiency. Some people may not have problem with electric bill.
539  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitmain pre order scam on: August 05, 2017, 03:55:21 AM
IT is Bitmains fault because they can easily stop it by letting as many order as they want but people gets put in line based on when they actually pay, then after it is sold out, all unpaid orders get canceled.

I dont agree if bitmain place a restriction on the account. Some people can afford to have 10 miners and more in one go.
I agree if bitmain make no change delivery address so there will be no one selling un-paid account.

I totally agree with wheelz1200 that its OK if you risk your money by taking the order and sell it back.
Not some people that wake up earlier, have high speed internet, create many account and take most the goods that they CANNOT afford to pay it
540  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitmain pre order scam on: August 05, 2017, 03:43:17 AM
After watching for a couple days i figure this is all a scam:

-There are 0 actual pre orders for sale (people who actually paid for their units first)
-Every listing is made from a new account
-Every buyer is from a new account

This is being done by the same person (or group)

All the data is being collected and sent to bitmain so hopefully they understand everyone buying their stuff never intends on paying, therefore it will hurt them in the end as they will never recieve their money for their hardware.

Get it in now, because your gravy train will end soon....

As I am allowing ESCROW, you can buy my preorder without being scared Smiley

Are you willing to do escrow until the shipment date?
The escrow fee maybe higher (i think escrow will charge monthly fee) but its safer for buyer if something happen in the bitmain account (both from inhonest seller action or bitmain change of policy)
