Yeah I find it hard batch 3 being 10x the miners of other batches. Batch 2 sold out in ~30 minutes with 3500 and batch 3 with 35k sold out in half that time?

hi all, ive bought two d3 crawlers. now ive some questions and hope someone could please answer them 1. noise is 85db a bit loud for my tasted. does anybody know the detailed specs of the fans? i want to buy less noisy fans in advanced. 2. do i have to use the installed controller and if can i somehow use other miners such as ccminer...? if this is possible, i think we could mine other algos aswell as those asic chip are capable of mining x11 gpu algo. thanks

Someone knows a 'regular' PSU with all requirements (power and connections)? Corsair maybe?
I would get a server power supply if i were you, a lot cheaper for the same rating Would the hp dps 1200 work or cutting it too close? I wouldn't go over 80% of the PSU capacity. General rule. Play it safe. Okay yeah that's probably a good idea. Now to find an affordable psu at 1500 watts. Prices so high these days.

Well, total noob to ASIC mining. Would it be worthwhile to buy one with the next. Watch? Am I looking at maybe $10k return for 1 year, instead 70K like the calcs say?

This one will be twice as expensive and delivers two months after the d3 x11s. Yet these are more powerful, and quickly overpower the d3 x11s. Is $10k/year even realistic at current price of Dash?

With the difficulty in october they have to lower their price from their previous model which was first priced and released for pre-order 3 months ago when it was insanely profitable. They are using the same chips as the last model, just more of them, and they should have covered most of their design and fab costs from last batch too. That 6k price didnt take into account the a5 and d3.

iBelink would have to give those away in order to pull the sales away from Bitmain. Price is going to win this battle sadly.

iBelink isnt making any more units, nor selling any, that i know of. I havent seen any or i would've bought some more. They're hashing $3500-4000 at the moment. At $6000 I'd buy 10 more if they would've gotten shipped in next week, like my current units have. edit: I stand corrected: https://ibelink.co/blog/22gh/s iBelink miner announced for October delivery. This explains why Bitmain freaked out with pricing on their Batch 2 ASICs. Its a turf war until the end of winter, when a winner will probably emerge. #winteriscoming

If ibelink buyers get their 22ghs upgrade kits soon or before october ( at a discount or possibly free for some) then they will have the fastest and most efficient miner even once the d3's are released and until the a5 even once the d3s are shipped, not sure how they did it but they got 3x as many of the same chips in the 22gh miner yet using same power usage.

well...in my case, I mined the LTC used....so this year...1/2 can go to the tax man ...or that same 1/2 can go to equip with an additional 25% due to 100% equip deduction in 1 year applied to taxes I owe..or know I'm gonna owe this year So the gamble was 25% more in $$$ on equipment...than just paying the IRS the 50% off what I mined in coin sucks...but that is how it is...so worse case I figure it is a wash Glad I was paranoid and only got the ONE though.... I also HOPE that bitmain will release a firmware update (like Baikal eventually did in the past) to do X13 and X15 coins. What the heck, probably won't happen, but would allow me to mine something, if when these miners destroy/pump/boom the X11 coins out there in the world. Anyway, still (in my case) I'll probably get by...but again...circumstances...I feel sad for those who may have bet the farm. Whenever bitmain REDUCES PRICE DRASTICALLY as they have done with product in the past..it usually means something else is dire in the crypto world but damn, even this one miner I got could be a 'doorstop' by December 2017 ..what an arms race!

With D3 last batch price as base price, here my math
D3 = $1599 = 15 GHs 1 GHs = $106.6
A5 = 30.2 GHs x 106.6 = $3219.32 DM22G = 22 GHs x 106.6 = $2345.2
Without factored power efficiency. Some people may not have problem with electric bill.

Whhhhhaaaaat? Bitmain D3 ==>15 GH/s@ $1600, buy 3 = 45G/hs @ 4,800. Even the delivery is late by weeks, you can made up the "lost time" with extra Hash power.

The iBelink has a really good power efficiency for the hash power, but the price per hash isn't great. It would take a long time to ROI that.
