521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many crypto wallets do you own? on: March 05, 2023, 11:45:07 AM
Having more than one wallet is really very useful but I think traders should use hardware wallet. I have a lot of custodial wallets in exchanges. As I am a daily trader I need to use more custodial wallets.
As a trader it's fine to have custodial wallets but if you are having them for purpose of storing your funds then it's very risky and should be avoided at any costs. What OP is really asking is to have different wallets to have your funds but that also have risks like you forget seed phrases then it would be a problem for you but you can use different addresses from one seed which is much safer. But having trust on these exchanges is really risky for me.
522  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: March 04, 2023, 09:57:42 AM
I agree with what you say, I have always thought that new casinos should be very careful, perhaps some do not have bad intentions, but we have witnessed here in the forum that relatively new casinos have the facility to deceive their players very easily and make them lose or make them withhold their funds, for this reason it is better that special care be taken at all times when operating in a new casino, I am not one of those who take too much risk to do deposits to the casino, as for the faucet, none like freebitco.in, I think no casino reaches that level.
Yes new casinos have to face difficulties in initial phases to gain the trust of gamblers like they have to do lot of promotions and provide smooth customer experience with gambling exposure through which they can survive in this crypto casinos market making some growth.I also think we can read reviews and test with small amounts to see how the experience is actually on that particular casino so that we can recommend it to others.
523  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: March 04, 2023, 09:43:25 AM

yes, luck plays a role
but instead of relying only in blind luck one can prepare and move and try to reach lucky through preparation

it's a possibility too

not always easy, but possible.
We should learn lot of things in gambling like a pro or the other word is experienced gambler will always have edge over new players in lot of ways like he can understand some strategy based games more comfortably and can limit himself at many points or other benefits with his luck giving him profits. So yes we should always progress while learning.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the easiest way to explain bitcoin to a regular person? on: March 04, 2023, 09:29:31 AM
People are too afraid to jump in because it's "too expensive" just to own one.
And who said to have full Bitcoin with you is necessary? Many here including me also don't have full bitcoin at this time but we can buy the lowest fraction say worth $10 also just keeping tx fees in mind that should be covered. This is best part for it like you can buy satoshis smallest unit of btc also and no need to spend $20k to own full.So this is misconception among many but they need to clear all these doubts out of their minds.
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to this Eth Investor? on: March 03, 2023, 07:12:03 AM
There are many dormant address in Bitcoin also which haven't moved any coins from a long time but we can't say exactly the reason behind it as there are many possibilities for it like loss of keys, death of the owner or they might be waiting for a much longer period to have sustainable wealth with them.
526  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: March 03, 2023, 06:54:32 AM
This is some completely unknown provider of game slots. Mr.Slotty's site looks very empty.
What is the likelihood that the game slots provider initially knew about the vulnerability in his product? This story seems very strange.

It doesnt really matter at this point because if the slot provider is trying to pull a nasty string behind the exploit then they are going to risk the reputation of the whole company. They might not as popular as some other top provider like Pragmatic but I've seen their slots getting added to decent numbers of online casino though
We can't exactly tell the intentions behind this exploit but as per information there was vulnerability which might not be tested properly before slot introduction or there could be some other reasons also but with such things reputation is at stake so they can't risk such things. But Rollbit take timely action to stop further exploitation of funds.
527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Caution Newbies Bitcoin is BTC on: March 03, 2023, 06:41:37 AM
These are some ways to make people fool and there are really some people or say complete newbies who will not be able to distinguish between the actual btc and this shit coin or whatsoever. But if you can't make these difference you are at complete fault. They have tried to cap the supply also at 21M which clearly shows they want to cash grab people's investment in any way possible by linking the name to bitcoin but be sure you look closely at these shit coins.
528  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotion and Trade? on: March 02, 2023, 11:02:06 AM
If you are trading with emotions then you can face loss as it's hard to make decisions in these cases which is why it's advisable set aside your emotional behaviour while trading. You need to control it which you will learn with experience over time like sometimes it's hard but if you have knowledge and skills then you can handle situations well in comparison to some emotional trader who get excited or panicked easily.
529  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: March 02, 2023, 10:52:31 AM
it really depends on the competition
some things are more skill based than others

after all a competition without skill is simply a giveaway (nothing wrong with that too)
I am not talking about skill based games but on a general basis that most gambling games are luck based in which your skills won't matter much so if you are lucky you will win otherwise loss. There are skill based games in which luck factor combined with your strategies can lead to win but not in all of them.

totally get it
and even in some pure luck games you can use skill (most math and probability) to manage bankroll and calculate best odds in a determinate play

many ways to play these games

Yeah we can always imply our own strategies where we can to determine the odds with our bankroll to have decent wins.As you said there are many ways and sometimes we find the best way but you should be lucky as it works different for all.
530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fruit of greed is never good,, on: March 02, 2023, 10:37:32 AM
The telegram scams are common and your friend gave them access to wallet by clicking on these phishing links which is red sign for all. When you click on these links in hope of earning some good amounts or see some great offers you are actually giving them away what you also have.So your friend has learnt a lesson through it that never click on these links.
531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Neither Good or Bad on: March 01, 2023, 03:53:45 PM
Right it's not good nor bad according to me also and we all have our explanations about the same.Like for me it's not good as we are utilising our funds without any hope of getting them back or anything in return and it's not bad if we are not becoming addicted towards it as we are treating it for entertainment purposes only as game.So we all have our points but yes it's not good nor bad at the last.

533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin by selling wife's jewelry on: March 01, 2023, 03:33:25 PM
I assume you also understand the risks when investing in bitcoin as you have risked your wife jewelry on this basis.I am happy that you have decided to invest in btc but sometimes we go over as gold can help you in hard times but on the other hand btc might not land on your expectations of 100k by next year so it should not be a problem for you.We should always invest what we can afford to loose and in this case I don't think you have made investment based on this fact.So be prepared for loss aslo but your patience will definitely pay off in long run.
534  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: February 28, 2023, 07:09:21 AM
Pretty sure that there will be several people that have used this exploit now Im waiting for the next chapter of this exploit which is someone complaining in this forum about Rollbit holding up their balances after he used those exploits  Roll Eyes
They have not disclosed the amount or how many users were able to get into the boat with this exploit but yes they can take actions as it was not pure win but vulnerability was exploited by the players. But we can only be updated when there is some more information about it.
535  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: February 28, 2023, 06:51:12 AM
If we are just doing it for fun then we will get out early but if we are seeking big profits then we will get engaged in some kind of aggressive betting that can make us addicted towards gambling which should be avoided at any cost.We all need profits in gambling but always in this hope can lead to worse scenarios.
A gambling addict at first also only plays or bets with the aim of having fun, but because they are so happy playing and being able to win a game they become more curious and keep playing until they really become a crazy gambling addict.
If you really don't want to become a gambling addict, then don't ever play gambling occasionally.
There are many ways to be able to get pleasure besides gambling.
If indeed the purpose of gambling is to be able to get profit and more money, then I justify it because even though they have reasons to just seek pleasure, all of that is only an excuse because ini reality they are indeed gambling to seek profit.
Ofcourse we can become addicted towards gambling if are too much engaged in it without even bothering about our budget limits so at the end we will have to face consequences for it.I think no matter what our motive is we should always keep in mind our budget so that we don't go above it anytime. This is what prevents us from becoming addicted.
536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a good wallet I can use to store Bitcoin? on: February 28, 2023, 06:45:03 AM
You have already received the best advice of having hardware wallet to store your funds specially bitcoin but if you can't spend amount on them you can try non custodial wallet like Electrum with your seed phrases safely as if you lost it you will no longer have access to your funds. These are only best options to keep your funds safe with you instead of using any centralised exchange or close source wallets.
537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this help you win when you're gambling? on: February 27, 2023, 06:56:23 AM
I would say being lucky is most prominent thing when you are seeking profits in gambling as this whole game is of luck.If you play for fun then it's best as ig you don't win you won't feel too sad about it but when we are playing for other purposes then it can make us sad through loss. The chances will rise for winning when you are lucky according to me not if you are gambling for fun so it all depends on our personal opinions.
538  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: February 27, 2023, 06:38:51 AM
IMHO, those gamblers that are doing it for fun have even the control than those that are gambling for profit.
If we are just doing it for fun then we will get out early but if we are seeking big profits then we will get engaged in some kind of aggressive betting that can make us addicted towards gambling which should be avoided at any cost.We all need profits in gambling but always in this hope can lead to worse scenarios.
539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can the exact date of the next Bitcoin halving be determined accurately? on: February 27, 2023, 06:14:52 AM
At this time we only know that next halving is in 2024 but can't exactly specify the date for it.But as others have already said that it is basically dependent on blocks which amounts to every 4 years based on the calculations. So wait till that time to see the exact date of bitcoin halving when the rewards are going yo to be halfed.
540  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best time to buy bitcoin. on: February 26, 2023, 10:49:16 AM
...If you had invested $100 in Bitcoin every week for a year utilizing DCA, you'd be laughing all the way to the bank with almost 200% profit at current pricing...

The DCA strategy doesn't always work the way you write. And if you regularly invested $100 in BTC every week in the last year, then now you would not have a 200% profit, but a loss of 50%. Because the main rule in this case will be the same - do not buy on high.
It may not work the way we see it but if we are investing with aim of earning profits always then we are wrong but having long term profits in mind will benefit us.Those who are in loss at this time will gain profits when prices will boost so their holding will pay off at last.
