521  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Making Physical CryptoCurrency Coins on: January 27, 2018, 04:41:55 AM
Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it.

What do you think is a reasonable price for a 1 ounce silver coin?

I agree Platinum would be freakin awesome but the upfront cost on my end would be massive. It would have to be 1/10 ounce coin which then is really small.

Potcoin! haha. i completely forgot about that market!  I need to read more about Garlic Coin. I keep reading about it and haven't dug into it.

My vote would go to silver, I'd think the reasonable price depends on the total package provided and if there are extras like hologram/COA associated with each individual coin.

No pressure but I'd also like to see a platinum crypto coin someday as well!
522  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Weekend Sale Bitcoin Coldcoin Spy coins on: January 27, 2018, 04:37:09 AM
I purchased one from viz a little while back. It's an exceptional coin and I like the hidden storage feature. For anyone that wants long-term microSD storage using a coin like this, I recommend Swissbit: https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/swissbit/SFSD0512N1BM1TO-I-ME-221-STD/1052-1202-ND/5762188

These are basically military-grade microSD cards that should hold information for at least 10 years. Most USB / microSD flash drives will degrade and not retain their memory for anywhere near that length of time.

Nice info, I'll need to get me one of those special cards for long term storage.  I'd have to imagine there are better prices though, $20/512mb?

Agreed, they are impressive and actually work when fitting together/opening with the tool which I didn't expect.

They were sold on ebay and I believe through a website that was built for the coins.

I believe the website was coldco.in if I recall.  These are pretty rare.

That's accurate, just confirmed the address via an old bookmark I had.   Smiley

524  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Infinitum Coin toning or on purpose ? on: January 26, 2018, 11:08:29 PM
I wouldn't think they did it on purpose and it might have been a side effect of one of the processes they perform on the metal.  If it was intentional I'd think they could have done a much better job toning the coin.
525  Economy / Collectibles / Re: IN PRODUCTION - 2018 Inaugural f*D Coin Lines on: January 25, 2018, 08:13:26 PM
I agree. Garlicoin looks to be the next Dogecoin based on the amount of interest on reddit.  https://www.reddit.com/r/garlicoin/

Definitely, f*D has the experience in quick coin design to pull this off.  The Garlicoin logo is pretty simple too and would look epic gilted.   Grin

If i sell for BTC how do i convert it to fiat its a headache right now they really slamming the door on it.

I would think you'd have to do this via LocalBitcoins or an exchange.  The exchange will most likely have limits if you're a new account so don't expect to be able to take it all out in one shot.  I honestly wouldn't even put those funds onto an exchange until you can verify withdrawals are working as expected (use small amounts).  Wink

THE AUTOGRAPHED VERSION WAS INSCRIBED TO ME BY THE OWNER OF THE MINT BECAUSE I ASKED HIM TO SIGN THIS HISTORICAL PIECE, HE SIGNED IT THREE DIFFERENT PLACES. BROCHURE, COA CARD AND BOX CASE ARE SIGNED

Can we see pictures of the signed pieces?  And please hold off on all the yelling (caps lock).   Cheesy

534  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] BLANK OR LOADED CASASCIUS WITH HOLOGRAM on: January 23, 2018, 09:24:29 PM
Any preference for brass or silver?  The silver Cas will carry a bit more of a premium.

536  Economy / Collectibles / Re: ★ Digis Coin Emporium ★ -= Kialara, Sol Noctis, Unobtanium, Finite By Design =- on: January 22, 2018, 09:31:08 PM
FWIW all the Kialara Moon bars I own show the same scuffing on the inside of the mylar bag used for shipping. I think it was just due to the etched Kialara logo rubbing on the bag during shipping. Not a concern.

Same here - no biggie at all. I was a little scared at first but quickly realized it didn’t alter the bar in any way.

Thanks for the confirmation, I stated it for transparency and thought that may be the case!  Grin
537  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Anacs undergoing a PROCEDURE CHANGE on: January 22, 2018, 09:30:30 PM
Thanks, I didn't have the time to deal with them today myself. Did you happen to ask Paul about all the outstanding orders submitted before this nonsense started? Thanks!

I'd be interested to hear this as well.  It seems like customers who sent their coins in prior were under the guise that they agreed to the older structure and didn't expect nor want the terms to change in the middle of the process.
