522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CIA "paying spooks" with bitcoin on: February 03, 2012, 07:01:08 PM
I just watched the documentary Thrive and I think that Satoshi must be an alien!    Shocked

Does the bitcoin network have any properties that could be related to the shape of a
torus?   Grin

j/k

That doc should make bitcoiners happy since it suggests people, to help wake up and
free themselves, to start using alternatives currencies, among other things.

Bitcoin was planned by aliens long before we even dreamed about things like that.
Here is the video recorded before 2005 and posted on youtube in 2009:

Just pick up the key words from the first half and put 2+2 together.

I hope you are joking....this guy is an alien reptilian believer lol....  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ny8ROj-HvVo&feature=related

I Will try and address a few things in one post if thats ok?

Yes we will be Adding Dwolla Withdraw, as you know as deposit, way to risky. However as soon as possible this will be sorted out there are a few things we need to get done for this being outside of USA. Smiley On it's way though Sir!

Hi,
Yes we have an extremely fast connection & setup here, however Europe, USA and some clients in various places have said speed has been a huge issue. We are looking at options right now for this, we need to keep our main system here locally, but there are some options in which we are looking into right away to have maximum speed everywhere, your exactly right it's the terrible link from Australia to Overseas that causes this.

525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto X Change - What would YOU the community like to see and join us???? on: February 02, 2012, 12:19:38 PM
do you plan on implementing smart phone integration?

what about buy stop/ loss stop order implementation in the order book?

and this is a long shot, but what would be the challenges to implement the ability to deposit funds through greendot refill card?  and also the other way, how hard would it be to implement direct deposit to one of those electronic american express debit card?
526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tor Idea. on: February 02, 2012, 11:24:51 AM
Screw Tor, incentiveize a mesh network.
527  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: MtGox SierraChart bridge - Realtime Bitcoin charts on: February 02, 2012, 10:59:07 AM
it is a commercial software, once the trial period is over you can still use some basic function and charting too with slush plugin.

Thanks for making this clear. Yes, this mtgox plugin and realtime charting work even with expired trial of SierraChart.

very cool.  was worried about that.  i will use it!

im getting a disconnection notice saying i need to pay.  and the prices are absolutely redic!  something like $45 for 2 months wtf!

529  Economy / Speculation / Re: the MaNiPuLaToR on: February 02, 2012, 07:58:41 AM
the bid depth now looks unsettlingly similar to the ask depth that disintegrated after the big buy... so there does seem to be a mtgox-depth manipulator.

i was thinking the same thing.
530  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Historical Depth Blog -- updates once a day on: February 02, 2012, 07:32:53 AM
Wait a minute! There's like a month and a half missing.  Tongue

532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Open Source Projects Survive Poisonous People on: February 01, 2012, 04:07:09 AM

I'll be blunt:  I think Luke Dashjr fits the definition of a poisonous person, and I think Bitcoin would be better without him. At the very least, we wouldn't be creating two BIPs for every technical issue, one for Luke and one for the rest of us (see BIP 16/17, and now we have BIP 20/21, too).

533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You can actually buy stuff with Bitcoin!? on: February 01, 2012, 03:51:29 AM
maybe one of you SEO pros could write a craigslist script to advertise hot items listed on bitmit to get some new users.

bitmit also needs to have a page dedicated to buying bitcoins.  this is what i see holding bitcoin back from large adoption.  if mtgox somehow allowed approved e-commerce websites access to the order book giving customers an easy way to buy bitcoins then users who stumble upon bitmit and wont have to spend a day and a half figuring out how to get btc in the first place.

imagine if a user saw an item of interest and could input his cc details and hit pay.  behind the scenes the cc is used to purchase bitcoins at mtgox and instantly sends btc to the seller.  this would obviously require mtgox to change the way it works which i doubt would ever happen.
534  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is that mysterious triangular cycle? on: February 01, 2012, 01:50:30 AM

triangles indeed summon aliens...
who wants to trade magic at mtgox!?  Grin

536  Economy / Speculation / Re: Poll :: When will Bitcoin reach $1 Billion total value on: January 31, 2012, 01:53:42 PM
I would like to guess 2013-01-07 for both contests.
537  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Technical Analysis & other financial markets (bitcoinbullbear.com) on: January 31, 2012, 09:55:19 AM
the likely outcome here: http://imageshack.us/f/688/bitcoinforum.png/

we are squeezed up against the daily 200 and 50 simple moving averages at the moment and a 'BIG' break is eminent especially since the daily MACD is about to enter negative territory. Either a massive buy comes in or we are heading down and likely to the 3.8ish region. But, after that, the 3rd or C wave should take us up towards the 14-18 area.

triangles are continuation patterns by nature and unfortunately the trend was going down into this triangle so the likely outcome is down.

A big buy of course can change the momentum but it has to happen soon

nice post

540  Economy / Services / Re: Cam Shows on: January 31, 2012, 07:33:19 AM
us pimps need to get together and create a massive community of pimps n hos to pull our masterful knowledge together and create the ultimate bitcoin bunny house/camshow website!

but in all seriousness, why hasnt anyone done this yet?  i bet alot of the chicks from /r/gonewild would eventually see how they could easily make a few bucks showing their wild side once in a while...knowing they could remain somewhat anonymous.

A cam show site would be...massive...this thread has almost 2,000 views... Insaine oO

I have been soliciting my idea to as many people I can find online thats "in the business" no responses yet.

If anyone here has the know-how please include me!  I would really like to be apart of such a project, not even trying to profit I just want to be apart of something AWESOME!  I've even been talking to some girls (lol) and some are warming up to the idea if a website were made.

EDIT: i have gotten a response from an developer working on a pretty nice opensource webcam platform to do exactly this.  it's fully functional the next step is integrating a bitcoin tip button to it.  if you have ideas pm me!
