521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: May 04, 2023, 10:49:44 PM
According to the articles shared, sports betting will have the highest market gain in the next few years.
What do you think?

Technically speaking, the increase in fan-based on sports with Major Leagues plays a big role in that expected big market gain in sports betting in the next few years. It's been noted that big global sports events such as Super Bowl, World Cup, FIBA, and even continental and regional leagues are boosting their market gain with every event. The fact that more people are into online gambling nowadays, those fans also try to adopt the idea of supporting the sports league they prefer while taking a chance to make a profit thru sports betting.

In general, there is no doubt that the growth in online gambling is one of the best effects that the pandemic brings.

Gambling is one of the industries that survives the global wrath and even with no sports betting, the other side performed well. Just imagine that every sports event now returned. More money is now expected to circulate in the online gambling industry, especially in sports betting.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a fan of sports betting? Have you ever considered using Bitcoin sportsbo on: May 01, 2023, 11:49:11 PM
I think it's more of OP describing just the Bitcoin itself.

Instant deposit and withdrawal? Tell me a sportsbook where Bitcoin deposit and withdrawal are instant, not unless it's a decentralized gambling platform.
Anonymity? - It's for Bitcoin itself but that can be changed if you are using a centralized sportsbook and they implement KYC-related stuff.
Security? - Not your keys, not your coins.

The reason I'm using Bitcoin or crypto-sportsbook is not because of the reasons you mentioned which are technically for Bitcoin only. Crypto-sportsbook are giving better odds and "MORE BETTING OPTIONS" compare to fiat sportsbook based on my experience.

Have you tried betting on sports with Bitcoin? Share your experience in the comments!

We are in a crypto forum lol. Should be, "Please share your experience in betting sports with Bitcoin". Smiley
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: May 01, 2023, 11:34:30 PM
I doubt anyone can follow this. Once in an actual situation, we can figure out to ourselves the certain pattern we need to follow. Losing 10 times spin in a row is just normal and that's even a few. Sometimes, I'm winning even after 20 times spin. It's a matter of how far you can tolerate the consecutive losing spins.

There's no advice or suggestions that can be truly effective in playing slots.

Slots is a luck-based game where everything is random. Don't expect that there's a way to avoid losses here.
524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we should play on minor gambling platform? on: April 29, 2023, 04:10:55 AM
Since I've seen what happened to Coinplay, my question was: Why we should play with minor gambling platform, and not use only gambling platform like Stake, CloudBet, fortunejack ecc. which ensure us good games, 100% of safety in terms of withdrawal and provably fair (about games)? This question is also for the owners of gambling platform, maybe they can help to reply it.

There are many reasons why users play at those gambling platforms that aren't reached the stage yet like those reputable gambling platforms you have mentioned currently. Some reasons are, they just want to test the site, they see something special on promotions or bonuses, or just plain and simple, they just want to try it.

It's not wrong to test new sites as long these users understand the risks. There's no way we can tell if the gambling site is going to be turned into a scam if this site shows no signs of turning to that stage. On the other hand, we can assume already if the site is a scam just by showing obvious signs.

If users wants to test new sites, which doesn't have any much feedback or reviews yet, they should understand very well the risks before diving in.
525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 28, 2023, 08:35:02 PM
NBA deputy commissioner Mark Tatum said "it's only a matter of time" before a homegrown Filipino player makes it to the NBA.

Don't get me wrong but it just creating false hopes for PH aspirants honestly.

Just imagine, there are lots of good players in College basketball in the US like ACCA, NAIA, NCAA, USCAA, etc. that still can't make it to the draft list or worst, end up being undrafted even listed on the draft list. And at some cases, will be granted to play at NBA but only for a few days contract and later on, will be sent to G-league.

Not having a "talangka" mindset but that's the reality for a pure-blooded PH player who wants to enter the NBA. A player really has to be a phenomenon, at least, to at least even recognized at the draft selection even just hope that there's a chance to be selected at the last rounds.
526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: April 28, 2023, 08:20:07 PM
Did they in any way knows the magnitude of what they are doing and that isn't enough also accusing someone else for illegally transferring such huge amount to their bet account. Is she insane or what, didn't they know the implications of gambling with such amount of money?

Seems to me that they are used to doing that but just got caught on their recent attempt.

Kind of a foolish thing to me to file a false claim without knowing the risks, therefore, I will assume that these people have already made good deals by doing it and might have already been able to fool some sports betting sites before with their claims.

Since it's a form of financial fraud, it's really considered subject an illegal activity.

They are even really fortunate that are given an option to just pay the required money to save their asses rather than serving the jail for 7 years.
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 27, 2023, 10:09:54 PM
Meanwhile, tickets for this fight were already sold-out per report, well that's expected because the venue is not that big and if I'm not mistaken this could only hold a few thousand guests.

The undercards for this fight are all Pinoy boxers against Japanese boxers.

What a great show for those who will watch the event live at the famous Okada Manila. As per predictions, all Pinoy boxers at this event are all Favorites to win by a high percentage. The event is composed of these fights:

MAIN EVENT
John Riel Casimero vs. Fillipus Nghitumbwa

UNDERCARDS
Takeshi Inoue vs. Weljon Mindoro
Jun Ikegawa vs. Carl Jammes Martin
Ayumu Hanada vs. Vince Paras
528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: April 27, 2023, 09:41:26 PM
I'm not an expert with law, but  did he just skipped in paying off the debt he had because he's incarcerated? Does he have debts?, I'm quite sure he had, being a gambling addict automatically means you're drowning with debts.
Or does this mean, he'll have to be in jail for an extended year for not being able to pay the debts he made?
It's really crazy what people can do when they're in a desperate position, gambling have ruined a lot of lives, we're all aware of it but not everyone has the ability to control it.

As far as I understand the article, the man has a gambling debt and wants to settle everything thru gambling.

He needs money and demanded it, not to pay the debt, but rather to continue gambling and taking chances. However, even the man will get the money, he just added another crime. There's no way he will get away with that.

The level of desperation is really insane as it came to the point that he will kidnap his own family just for the sake of having money. Regardless of the reason he has, the was against the law and he needs to face the charges. I'm sure he's not just a gambling addict but maybe addicted too to other sinful activities and that results in his mind turning into trash.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Politicians behind the development of gambling platform on: April 25, 2023, 06:44:21 PM
Do you think that government should have a rule or a law for election candidates not to have a franchise in any form of gambling, in fact, there are a lot of politicians who are operators of illegal small-town lotteries this is to accumulate funds they can use for election campaigns.

Let's point out what you said, "election candidates".

My question is, what if these candidates are not politicians before but decided to run in the election and already owned a franchise in gambling? Are they not qualified to run? The best thing to strongly implement is, once a candidate now becomes a government official and held a government office, they should let go of their gambling franchise as a public official.

Be used to it when it comes to the source of election funds, candidates especially those with lots of machinery will use their power to accumulate money from any means. Not just happening in the Philippines but also in other countries.
530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 25, 2023, 02:27:08 PM
apart from the fact that he can still fight impressively and might be next undisputed champion in bantamweight if he's lucky to unify the belts as fast as he can.

In Nonito Donaire's last 6 bouts within 5 years, it's only against Naoya Inoue he got defeated.

After his first defeat against Inoue, he reclaimed 2 winnings later on at the age of 38 and 39 with an impressive knockout win. I think that's the reason why he still wants to fight since Inoue is nowhere anymore in the Bantamweight specifically in the 122 lbs division.

I'm sure if he losses again at the hands of a boxer in the 122 aside from Inoue, he will now consider retiring from boxing and finally hang his gloves. Until then, he will just continue to fight and if he continues winning, maybe just targeting being an undisputed champion as his final target before retiring.

Donaire really has that lethal hooks that this division is not capable of absorbing well. Donaire may be slower now but his chin is somewhat durable in this division and he has enough world-class experience to try to connect his deadly hooks in 12 rounds. I am confident Donaire will become champion again but I am not sure how long he can stay as champion knowing his age. Hopefully, 2 unification fights will happen so it only needs 1 more unification fight to determine the next undisputed champion. Otherwise, it will take years to collect all 4 belts to become undisputed.

By the way, it's 118 for bantamweight mate, 122 is 1 division above.

Thanks for correcting my typo. Things got mixed in my mind lol.

Agree with you. A possible 1-2 unification fight might have a chance for him if there will be no such thing as too much waiting for long between his next set of fights in the future. Time is running for him if the target is unifying all the belts. There might be also a chance that on the way, he will be mandated to a title defense. I also don't see him averaging 2 fights per year but hopefully, he will have a chance to get it.

Anyways, before we discuss Donaire having a unification fight in the future, he needs to win no matter what against Santiago as his first step. Losing one of his future fights is enough reason to retire. If he can't pass Santiago, which is below his rank and not even on the Top 5 rankings by the WBC, it means Donaire should bid goodbye now to his boxing career and call it "a good journey".
531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale strategy in casinos on: April 24, 2023, 07:43:26 PM
It's important to understand to understand all the risks before and not fall in the believe that martingale is a save way to make guaranteed profits.

In the very first place, who told these gamblers that martingale can be considered a strategy? I'm sure those who got lucky with that betting method are those who think that martingale is a strategy since after all, they have won using that method.

Regardless of any strategy, those casino games, dice games, and other same type of games that relies on random hashes to generate the result can't be influenced. Luck is really needed in these kinds of gambling games in order to win.

Since luck is the only key, once luck came to us and hit a good win, be responsible enough to take a break and just come back next time.

but I would like to give the best credit with the locals they play it well and they did not allow Gin kings gain the momentum and snatch the game from them.

If we talk about Game 6, I'd rather not give credit to the locals. Did you watch the game?

Honestly, they didn't give any big help to their import, Hollis-Jefferson. Imagine the import is playing 48 minutes without barely a rest and doing both offensive and defensive end for the team just to carry the whole TNT. Good thing Mikey Williams backed him up last game or else, the series will be extended to Game 7. Only Mikey does some good backup on the import and the rest are all "dinadaga" because Ginebra is pressuring them.

I'm not questioning the result of the series but only if Brownlee didn't got suffer from that food poisoning, they should at least win Game 5 and a 100% healthy Brownlee will be expected to play for the remainder of the series. It's impossible to become fully healthy in just 2 days of rest after severe food poisoning.

Move on now. Cheesy
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: April 22, 2023, 11:46:16 PM
Both camps including Thurman are quiet because they do not want to take out the media and public attention on the coming Garcia-Davis fight a fight that could possibly become the fight of the year, but after the fight, we will see the real and clear scenario if this Crawford - Spence will eventually happen this June, they should clear it officially because Spence camp is selling the Thurman fight and they don't want the sales to suffer.
We have a lot of drama between the two, but the Garcia - Davis also has a lot of drama in the past before they eventually settle to fight this year.

I don't see what's the connection of either Thurman's or Spence's camp being quiet just to give way for the exposure of the Garcia-Davis fight.

It doesn't matter whether Thurman, Spence, nor Crawford will make some moves and announced it to the public since it will never ruin the public attention of the Garcia-Davis fight because that fight is also one of the biggest anticipated fights for a long. There is no way that anything about Thurman, Spence, and Crawford can affect its public attention as the Garcia-Davis fight will still be exciting and surely, sold-out.

But as stated above, there's a chance that no announcement will be made about Crawford vs. Spence fight in the Garcia vs. Davis fight later on but still let's wait. Just a few hours of waiting before the latter event and we will see if they will give at least information about the Crawford vs. Spence match.
535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 22, 2023, 11:32:35 PM
When it comes to boxing, the chin and ability to take punches are very important, imagine Ryan getting a knock down from a fighter who's not known to have a knockout power, it tells how bad your chin is, Tank will go for the chin, it is Ryan's vulnerable part.

But let's think about it, for most fights of Ryan Garcia, his chin is always exposed but still got a decent record and knockdown rate up to this point. I know we can't compare Ryan's previous opponents to Tank Davis but still, some of those are tough boxers and not joke opponents.

Tank might target Ryan's chin, as you said it's his vulnerable part, but it's impossible for me to think that the latter is not prepared and aware of that.

For sure, defense tactics and strategies will take place and be executed to somehow protect that disadvantage of Ryan Garcia.
536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: April 22, 2023, 11:11:00 PM
It's been awhile I try daily to make profit

But it take back profit.. I have 2k balance.. is there method

To get 100 $ per day

Mind sharing your experience before since you said "It's been a while" you try making a daily profit?

There are no methods or any ways to give you $100 per day profit not unless you are fortunate. Gambling is a game of luck especially casino games. However, you can possibly earn $100 from your $2,000 balance but don't expect to have a $100 daily profit.

What matter is, you are winning. Don't have a daily target profit as you might not always get the result you want.
537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need your opinion on the casino project ( gambling ) on: April 14, 2023, 05:15:31 PM
And finally, is it safe to play at this online casino site? Is my personal information and cryptocurrencies safe and secure? Would you recommend playing on this platform or are there other crypto casino websites that are safer or more reliable?

Let's get it straight. Since you are in a crypto forum, definitely only a few, or even close to none, will suggest trying that site.

The fact that you know where's the gambling section of the forum, I supposed you should already know what gambling sites are recommended here. I didn't even know how you were able to search that unpopular gambling site.

Don't confuse yourself. There are lots of reputable gambling site here in this forum section that is worth trying instead of that site you have mentioned.
538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tilt in gambling on: April 14, 2023, 04:39:35 PM
How do you think you can gamble with a cool head, and how do you make yourself a good brake inside

Experience is the key. Not just in gambling, but in every other activity, once you are used to doing it, you will know what would be the better approach. Although shit really happened on the way, it depends on how far you will able to withstand it.

Besides, if you are winning continuously you will surely have a relaxed and cool mind while on your gambling session.

And why do people in general like to gamble? Huh  I never thought I would enjoy gambling)

I doubt you will find a satisfying answer here since you are not a gambler itself. You will never understand until you're one of them. Gamblers have different points of view on why they gamble, whether they are newbies, casual, regular, professional, etc.

Better leave it that way. Smiley
539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can this be effective against the increasing numbers of gamblers? on: April 14, 2023, 01:53:18 PM
This is a move to try to reduce promotion of gambling in the premier league with it's increasing audience, do you think it can successfully reduce the number of people who gamble? What do you think? Will these gambling platforms not just move to other sports, do you think other sports that wear their sponsors name in England will adopt this new development in the premier league?

Gambling activity in the region is already to the point that it can be called "a big thing" there. Therefore, any kind of prohibited gambling promotions won't have any effect at all on reducing the number of gamblers. These people are already used to doing sports betting.

The Premier league just agreed to remove any kinds of promotions on the matchday shirts but still "tied up" to the gambling sponsors.

If the purpose is to reduce the number of gamblers then make sports betting there illegal lol. But that won't happen.
540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: April 10, 2023, 11:59:55 PM
We can only expect a rematch if it's written in the contract. And since it was not announced that there was something like that, we should not expect a rematch. However, it still depends on the outcome of this fight. If the outcome is controversial and this fight sells to the crowd, promoters would love to make a rematch as they'll make more money from it. The fighters just have to follow the orders from their promoters.

Even there's a rematch clause, I'm sure the loser of this fight will not request it.

Inoue, if lose, will just wait again for this turn to be in the title match. Fulton, if loses here, will just move up to the original plan and vacate his titles.  But let's see if there will be any rematch that will happen once they finished and settle this fight. We should not think about that for now.

EDIT: I tried to look for any article that can somehow show us if there's a rematch clause on their contract but found nothing.
