I don't think many alts would recover against Bitcoin if this happens and so they will crash even more. Some solid alts with good liquidity like Litecoin may recover but most won't recover in my opinion. Thoughts?  I think its not all altcoins will crash if bitcoin goes down on $5000 maybe some will goes down too but some will gonna be rise. Because in my experience i saw some altcoins goes up when the bitcoin down and some goes down when bitcoin goes up. So it depend to the investor. even some coins are still growing when bitcoin goes down, but, we must look at majority altcoins is contrary with bitcoin price now. so altcoin will be dump as f*ck if bitcoin back to 5000$

It's too risky if you invest your money in new coins, because most new coins now only become shitcoin in the wallet, except if you see that the project has great and clear product. I personally do not like investing with new coins because it is full of risk. many scam ICOs make people affraid of buying new coins, it is reasonable bcz investors dont wanna lose their money new fundraising system is IEO, i think IEO is better (safe) for investing in new coins we can look at binance IEO, many coins launched succesfully and have good development so it can be great in the future |

I have always kept my coins on Blockchain.info wallets, or on Myetherwallet addresses. I don't trust any of the other wallets out there. But the issue is that we can't store many of the altcoins on these wallets. MEW is only for ERC-20 tokens and Ethereum. You can only store BTC, BCH, Stellar and Pax USD on Blockchain.info wallets. So for the rest of the currencies, you need to go for other wallets.

if I think personally a safe way to invest in cryptocurrency is :
1. the project runs according to the roadmap and whitepaper that has been made;
2. cryptocurrency that we invest in already has a product;
3. the team always updates about the progress that is happening in the project that we invest;
4. invest in project that are in the top 1-500 in coinmarketpcap (have a high volume);
5. the project we want to invest has been running for a long time (if I personally never invested in a new project), because investing in new project has a greater risk than we invest in old project.
To be honest, I think there is no such thing as safe way to invest in cryptocurrencies. I don’t find it safe because the cryptocurrency market is so unpredictable nowadays. You may not know when the price will go up or down. There are times that it will go high or low in value in just seconds, minutes, hours or so. When some of my friends who are inquiring to me about investing in cryptocurrencies, I always said to them that they should do it at their own risk. So when it comes to investing in cryptocurrencies, I believe there’s no such thing as safe and effective way anymore. It’s now considered at our risks. My reason at the moment is buying bitcoin because I believe in halving in the near future. I think for bitcoin ATMs, figures, libra and volatility can indeed change the market, but I don't think it's that big. bitcoin ATMs only make fees even bigger, I used to use bitcoin ATMs so I already feel that the greater fees compared to us use exchangers. the value of bitcoin that is freaking can be an investment reason and a reason not to invest, you know, the risks and benefits are also great.

Instead of looking for those no ICO alt-coin why not try those who are already in the top list? Like ETH,LTC and XRP don't you consider them as a great one to hold? I also hate those new alt-coin that comes from offering those alts are going straight down whenever they reach the market so I think it isn't good to invest on them right now.
