521  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How chinese miners would sell their coins? on: October 09, 2017, 10:10:56 PM
Actually trading bitcoin peer-to peer became more popular when Chinese government stopped exchanges operations. Try localbitcoins and find a person who wants to trade cryptocurrency for money near you. As easy as that. They do this since trading cryptocurrency is not prohibited. It's only exchanges is what they prohibits. If they don't want that. Then migrate to other foreign cryptocurrency exchange. They can still trade cryptocurrency to other foreign cryptocurrency exchange as far as i know.

Anyway, Chinese government will likely to open those exchanges as soon as they issue their lincence to operate. So if you are chinese trader, just keep you coins because they are gonna open it soon.
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is an ICO suitable for this book publishing/ marketing project? on: October 09, 2017, 09:51:42 PM
Then see Authorship. A decentralised platform which bring authors, publishers and readers together.
With a total supply of 100,000,00. It's an Ethereum based token. Here's their whitepaper https://view.joomag.com/authorship-white-paper-authorship-white-paper/0120750001501521493?short
Bitcoin ANN thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2058499.0
But i don't think they are still on ICO phase.

Publica. This project also aims for book publishing. I think this is the newest ICO which is publishing related project. https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/publica/
They are releasing 1 billion tokens for their ICO this October. So watch out for that. This priject is backed by interesting company like scandiweb. Led by Josef Marc.
523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people try to create their own coins? on: October 09, 2017, 09:34:39 PM
It's just for $$$. It's easy to create altcoin. Of course you can't do this alone. They need partners in crimes and some imaginary friends to add at their dev team. ICO i think the fastest and the easiest way to get money from people to fund their scam coin. ICOs these days just popping out of nowhere. Most of them are just collect money from investors. Then they will distribute the coin to the investors. And when the coin hit an exchange. That's it, another shitcoin landed an exchange. That's why ICO from other countries are keeping their eyes to them. ICOs is getting out of hand. This thing needs to be regulated.
524  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people scam on: October 09, 2017, 03:15:29 PM
They are lazy and broke or maybe they are really in need that's why they do such things. How can they sleep at night know that they are scammed many people they deceived and took away their money. That's their hard earned money. But they really don't care about that. That's the fastest and easiest way to generate profit. It's an easy money for them. Scammers will never stop. That's the reality. Scammers will find a way to scam people. We are the fish and scammers are the fisherman. Waiting for the fish bite his bait. High unemployment rate and poverty is one of the reason why they do scam.
525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience and Holding on: October 09, 2017, 02:59:19 PM
We all make mistakes. That's how we learn. Bitcoin is high right now, but it's only going to get higher in time, so now is not too late to get into Bitcoin.
It's never too late mate. You can still buy bitcoin in fragments. You don't have to buy a whole bitcoin. Bitcoin is very expensive. But we know it's potential. It can easily generate profit. What altcoin you think can give high percentage of profitability? Obviously none. Also tye hard fork will take place this October 25. Expect people save bitcoin as much as they can because they will get free fork coin. It's free, so who doesn't like that? It can cost $300+ or more when it's available.

Funny how it is that we committed the same mistake. I knew the power of hodling because of that. From the moment I received my adex I sold it immediately because it times two. But wow, I can't believe that after 2 days. It times ten. I can't believe that I lost that trade. It is not lossing cause I made some, but I considered it a sa lost.
That's okay. What you did is fine. Some traders are too greedy and some of them not end very well. Don't let greed control you mate. The important thing should learn by a trader.
526  Bitcoin / Press / 2017-10-09 Lightning Network Centralization Leads to Economic Censorship on: October 09, 2017, 02:43:53 PM
A few months ago, I wrote an article called “Mathematical Proof That the Lightning Network Cannot Be a Decentralized Bitcoin Scaling Solution”. It received quite a bit of attention, both positive and negative.

Now it seems that the realities of LN’s limitations are being accepted, and new narratives are forming to justify the continued morphing of Bitcoin into a settlement layer.

For example, here is a Reddit conversation that took place a few days ago. Our adversarial friend u/benjamindees seems to acknowledge that the Lightning Network will rely on large centralized hubs, but argues that this is no worse than large Bitcoin nodes:

527  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is this too good to be true! on: October 09, 2017, 02:22:48 PM
I doubt that. Looks like a shady business to me. Don't just believe anything they are saying. 0.5 btc is too huge for a trial at that site. That's $2000+ in value! That's too good to be true. Don't you even dare to deposit because it's suspicious to me. Also i made my own research abot that site. It's a trading platform which offers both forex and bitcoin trading. I found out that this is a scam.
https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/usi-tech/

usi tech Is Dubai based currency trading company. This year they started bitcoin trading with 100 k investment. Recently they started package with as little as 50 euro. They also have office in US https://371e8496.usi-tech.info

And you buy that? They don't really have an office in Dubai and even in America. They just made that up. Don't just believe on anything you see. If you look for reviews about it. Most are claiming that this is just a scam. http://ethanvanderbuilt.com/2017/07/19/usi-tech-scam-yes-opinion/
528  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience and Holding on: October 08, 2017, 10:15:38 PM
Ive been wrong that i withdraw all my earnings on trading ..
i learned that ..must have patience in holding then exchanging it times 10 from the day I bought my alts..
hmm .. too bad for me now bitcoins is still aiming high ..
That's because you are controlled by your emotions mate. Controlling emotions is important in the field of trading. You let your emotions controls you, you loss. I am a trader also. What you did was wrong. You should have wait for you trades to gain value. Some of them are moving fast. Maybe you missed them. Try to use the stop loss order. It's quite complicated but it's very useful. It is used to avoid huge loss when your trades is failing. Also some altcoins are not gonna in one day. Some are pumping slowly. So you must wait until it's on it's limit.

My suggestion is do long term trading because it's safe and it's easy to correct your mistakes. What you're doing is day trading or short trading. Of course that is more risky because of fluctuations of price. You need to have skills and tools for that to maximize your profits. Don't just buy altcoins you want to buy. Make an analysis first before jumping and buy that altcoin. Read some latest news. Sometimes you'll get ideas about what altcoins will pump next.
529  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC sent to mixer but company is dissolved on: October 08, 2017, 09:58:18 PM
Sad to say but i don't think you can able to recover your bitcoin. That's obviously a scam. Many mixing service these days are just popping out of nowhere. So make sure you are using a reputable one like bitmixer or chipmixer. The one that you presented was unknown site. I didn't even heard about thisnmixing service. The domain is .biz, that is a suspicions link for me. You should have look for reviews before using their service. The site can be easily dispose and then the scammer will just create another site to find some victims. Anyway, i think you've learned your lessons. Don't trust anyone. Sorry about your loss mate.
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Gold, Price Speculation on: October 08, 2017, 09:41:46 PM
We'll see that when we get their airdrops. I've read some news about bitcoin gold. Some are saying it is bitcoin friendly altcoin. So i think it's not a serious threat to bitcoin. Also i think bitcoin gold will be another bitcoin cash. It will be another pump and dump altcoin in the market once people gets their free bitcoin gold. Anyway, problems can occur when the bitcoin gold already lauched. I think it will be like the previous situations where some miners switch to bitcoin cash mining.

Is there anyone who knows what exactly are the features of Bitcoin Gold? In what does it differ from Bitcoin?

As of now they are still not giving some details about it's features. We'll see that i think weeks before the fork take place. Anyway, if you have bitcoin in your wallet, just hold them before the fork and you will get free bitcoin gold. Anyway, just read this https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/bitcoin-gold/
531  Economy / Economics / Re: WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU HAVE A NASTY DIVORCE AND A FAT BTC WALLET? on: October 08, 2017, 01:08:37 AM
If you keep them really good. They might not gonna see it. But they will go and look after your bank transactions. If they see that you are engaging with cryptocurrency exchanges. They are gonna consider that as a conjugal property which allows your ex-wife to have access with your assets. That's sucks because it's your money and you worked hard for that. That's unfair. You should signed her a prenuptial agreement befor you marry her. Anyway, if your ex-wife/husband don't know shit about cryptocurrency.
Then you'll be fine. Keep it that way.
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrop on: October 08, 2017, 12:56:53 AM
Just want to add insight, why some people do airdrop, and what are the advantages of people who do airdrop?
It's an introduction for their product or project. Who don't want to have free money? But before you gets your stake on that airdrop. They required you to do some tasks. Maybe wear signature for weeks, tweet, or follow their page or slack sign up etc. For me, there's no difference between airdrops and bounties. Bounties are giving you tasks in able to get the stake and so as airdrops. I see some airdrops here. So far, i don't see an airdrops which is successful as deeponion. But it just dumped after.
Deeponion is a good project though. TOR system which you can't be trace. Total anonymity.
533  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaigns: New Rule Suggestion on: October 08, 2017, 12:24:21 AM
There are some campaigns like that. They are requiring to wear the signature and avatar before apllying and takes a day before they post the accepted members. This is a free advertisement to them. But that's a sign also that you are willing to comply and you trust the manager. So im fine with that. If the manager doesn't pay you. Then you are free to make a complain at the meta section or even give a negative feedback. Not all managers are like that. When applying on a campaign. Make sure that the manager is a well experienced manager. I don't trust newbies to handle a campaign. Anyway, they are the managers. They are the one who sets the rules, not us.
534  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin and ID on: October 08, 2017, 12:08:42 AM
Many Bank only allow +18 users to use money services is right for you?

so if this right bitcoin not need ID so under 18 years can use it
Bitcoin don't have age requirement because there's no way to identify it's users unless you have use a KYC/AML complied wallet like coinbase. If not, as long as you know how this work. You're fine.
Anyway, banks is one of the way to buy bitcoin. But you're still lucky because you can still buy bitcoin. Try localbitcoins.com. Try to find a local seller near you to buy bitcoin. Maybe you can buy bitcoin with cash since banks don't allow to use their service since you are underage. Im just curious, why don't just ask your parent to make an account for you? I think they allow that. I don't know what are the laws in your country pertaining to that matters.
535  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Help with Stop Loss Strategy on: October 07, 2017, 11:55:00 PM
Stop-loss function is important especially this season. All you can see in the market are pump and dump coin moving up and down. So it iw important to cover your trades with stop-loss to avoid huge loss of capital if ever your trade dump fast. The fluctuations of cryptocurrencies are different than stocks. The movement of cryptocurrencies in the market is very fast. Sometimes our analysis can be fail. The coin will go up and then it goes down really quick. This is also important especially who don't have time to spend time with their trades. The price will trigger the stop loss. So it is a big help for traders
536  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: 7 People arrested for Bitcoin Trading on: October 07, 2017, 11:33:16 PM
That's what's happen to people who don't comply with the regulations of their country. They build their own cryptocurrency exchange seems to be a serious offense. They could be detained for money laundering and illegal operation of market exchange. Any cryptocurrencies operations there are illegal. Of course anyone who violates that will be punished.

Anyway, it's a right way to do. It's a warning to those who wants to do that things in the future.
Im just frustrated about the see bitcoin. It can help their citizens. Many third world countries like African countries are now supports cryptocurrencies. Why can't they do it?
Anyway, i respect their law.
It's the latest in development from the country of Nepal which started nabbing bitcoin traders for fraud. Can be sentenced to upto 3 years in prison.

http://kathmandupost.ekantipur.com/news/2017-10-06/7-nabbed-for-running-bitcoin-exchange-business.html

First case of bitcoin related arrest in the country.
I think you are talking about the case of delhi in india??
The site's name was Kathmandupost. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal. I think this news came from Nepal. Maybe im wrong.
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining on Mobile Phone on: October 07, 2017, 11:30:59 AM
Would you be interested in a cryptocurrency with its own blockchain that can easily be mined on both android and iOS phones?
Nope. I wouldn't use or bother finding one because mobiles like smartphones are not meant for mining. It will just blow up your smartphone because of overheating. It's a waste of time and money. I heard that there's an application which mines. I just don't know what coin it's mining. Sounds impossible but it is possible because every smartphones has GPUs. Some altcoins can be mined through GPUs. But smartphones these days are very expensive. High specs smartphones ranging to $600+ above depends on specs. Why not mine with PC? I think it's a little bit cheaper than smartphones. Also smartphones have a serious issue. It's battery. Mining should running 24 hours. I don't think smartphones can do that.
538  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading dilemma on: October 07, 2017, 02:29:24 AM
Are you still holding mate? You lose already. Why not HODL?
You just need patience. It will accumulate value again soon as soon as bitcoin stabilized it's price.
The market is on massive correction right now. So i suggest you to cover your trades with stop-loss.
We still don't know when the correction will be over. So always cover you trades to avoid huge losses.
Some altcoins in the market are controlled by pump and dump group. Be careful with those coins.
DGB(Digibyte) is a good coin though. I've been trading them when the price is at 100+ sats.
Then the price pumped up to 400+ sats. That's 3x profits i gained from DGB.
Just have patience mate. Summer is the bearish season for altcoins. Expect them to behave like that.
539  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin Price So Fluctuating? on: October 07, 2017, 02:08:16 AM
We see bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies fluctuating is because of the demand and supply. That's how it works mate. The higher demand but lower supply, the higher the price of a product. The lower demand and the supply is too much. It will cause the product drops it's value. That's the Law of demand of supply. Demand and supply cause cryptocurrencies to fluctuate. The market still not solid and can easily collapse and it's still under developed. In additions for this are the news against this technology. It could affect its price depends on how bad the news as people are relying to much on news. That's why we experience fluctuations too often. Like the recent price drop. It's because of continous crackdowns on bitcoin. Let's wait and see when the market grows as big as stock market. Crypto market surely will surpass the stock market. Right now, the market is still young and a lot of issues about legality. Many countries still considered this as a fraud. But some change their minds. Like Russia. Let's wait for the others to adapt this technology.
540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One more critic for Bitcoin. on: October 07, 2017, 01:49:06 AM
As expected.. They are just tring to manipulate the market again. After Jamie Dimon, now this Jordan Belfort criticizing bitcoin. They (manipulators) think that people will buy that. Well, we'll see the effects of that in the market after few days. I think people now are more aware now after those several FUDs created by these clowns. They are personalities from the biggest financial institutions. What do you expect they say about this technology? Nothing but criticism.. Bitcoin is a big threat to their business or it may even kill their business. That's why they are making this. Bitcoin is unstoppable. They are just bunch assholes trying to put down bitcoin.
