521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs really DEAD or simply cleared a path for better projects? on: December 28, 2019, 07:03:38 AM
I think that ICO projects are not going to die, but the time for their activities is now very inappropriate. Now there is a general decline in the cryptocurrency market, altcoins have been particularly affected and this has a very negative effect on the emergence of new ICO projects. Also, the problem of a high level of fraud among ICO projects has not yet been resolved. In this regard, investor activity is now extremely low. When these two problems are resolved, ICO projects will again become popular for investment.

ICO projects may never die,,, but they might as well be dead.

Look at all the ICOs that did raise money, you think they got it from individual investors? No, mostly people got it through a few big whales who were promised all kinds of bonuses. Nobody wants to throw away btc or eth anymore these days,,, they are tired of losing to dumpers and hunters and speculators.
now investors must be more selective in investing in new projects, ICO currently has lost a lot of investor confidence. and maybe the ICO could die or change to other investment methods, hoping that if IEO could replace ICO, but I personally prefer ICO, but in terms of security, IEO might be superior, in my opinion.

If we see lately many ICO projects have failed because of not achieving softcap due to lack of investor interest to invest in new projects, this is also due to the number of scammers which then made investors hesitant to invest in the new project and I think this It is normal that many investors begin not interested in putting their money into the new project. For me personally, what investors need is security in their investments so they don't lose the money they have invested.
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO/IEO projects are lying to airdrop and bounty participants for a long time! on: December 27, 2019, 11:14:05 AM
I think those projects are right, and there is no lie here. Their projects are not listed in any exchange so the default price will be IEO or ICO price. They have no idea that their tokens will collapse after being listed, it all depends on the reaction of the market and traders to that project. So you need to be psychologically prepared that the actual value you receive will be much lower than the initial price offered.

Sometimes, we have to understand those project too, for me it is fine for as long as they are doing their job and that is to develop their project, but if they will tell to bounty hunters that they need to invest first or do the KYC then I would refuse too, that's a scammers way, or meaning they failed in fund raising so it might also failed in giving rewards.
but unfortunately sometimes we are still fooled by projects like that, our research management must be wrong from the start. but if indeed we are already trapped in a fraudulent project, then I think don't regret it because I believe there will be genuine and fake projects in this pile, and we have to look for it
Often we are still trapped or fooled by projects like that, even though we have done research like what we do on other projects but sometimes we each can be fooled because for me scammers always have tricks to be able to fool many people and benefit from these people . So for me it's better for us to be careful in every decision and not in a hurry.
523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do with a 1000$ and what would you do? on: December 27, 2019, 03:30:42 AM
Honestly if you are really a risk taker you should invest your 1000$ all in crypto. But if you are going to ask me I will suggest that 75% of your capital or your 750$ is better to invest in bitcoin because all we know that this is the most popular and most fast moving coin. Then give your 250$ at eth as back up in case that bitcoin price progress will not increase in small period of time and it will serve as a buffer on your other expenses.
If I have to choose to invest in cryptocurrency, it's true that I agree with you to better invest in bitcoin than in other coins. This does not mean that other coins are not profitable but for me personally investing in bitcoin will have more potential or greater opportunity to make profits compared to other coins, maybe for me 25% can be invested in some coins that we think have the potential for us to use to make profits.
524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Useless projects! on: December 26, 2019, 02:38:09 PM
It's hard decisions to invest in new coins today, but few ICO projects are still successful so i will like to keep taking chances for future opportunities

Succeed in a project but they postpone payment for those who have provided support or promotion to the project. There are some projects doing that. If you have a good idea or strategy, it will turn a profit.
That's true and i can even mention some of them. so many trusted altcoins are using the bounty hunters effort for free even when they got milliond dollars worth of money into their pocket. that must be called as a scam. They wanna get a lot of advertisers while they don't even wanna pay even a cent to the hunter.
they use bounty hunters efforts for free. but they also don't get anything from just bounty program. those times are gone when projects use to raise a lot of funding with just help of bounty program. bounty programs doesn't help anymore in marketing and promoting a project. 99% of bounty hunters are fake, cheaters and join bounty just for some tokens. but don't care about the project.

It is true that many bounty hunters promote a project without knowing and caring about the project and they do it only because they want to get a token and hope that the token has value to sell. And for the bounty campaign itself, I disagree with what you say that the bounty campaign is no longer good in promoting a project because for me personally this bounty campaign is very helpful for new projects to be able to introduce what products they bring and attract investors to invest.
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: December 26, 2019, 09:05:51 AM
I agree. We cannot blame them though, it is difficult to determine whether a project is legitimate or a fraud especially for newbies. Me myself isn't an expert yet on detecting scam projects. It really takes a lot of experience and a strong instinct.
greed, carelessness, choosing investment blindly, not doing research, excessive trust, no knowledge, hurry, and other negative traits are the reasons why so many people are deceived, or exposed to scams.

we really can't blame them, because fraudsters have so many tricks in attracting new investors. however, if new people in investment lose this trait, chances are they can choose the right investment.
I think everyone has experienced this where they want to get more or get greedy and they want to be able to make a profit quickly so this is the reason why people get caught up in scam projects. We have to introspect ourselves and not be too hasty in doing everything because we know scammers always have strategies or tricks to be able to fool many people.
526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My New Year Resolution For Bitcointalk on: December 26, 2019, 06:28:23 AM
New year is already few days away and I want to share one or two new year wishes about this forum on here, this is how I hope 🙏 this forum will be by next year, this is actually about BM and Moderators, I belief they can both help a lot.

1. Moderators, theymos and co should actually look into new way or strategy to help crypto investors, what I mean is getting rid of scam projects, I don't know how but I think it's time moderators start taking action, we need new investors in crypto space and scammers are everywhere taking advantage of them.  Maybe there can be some kind of new screening for new projects on this forum? Or some kind of PASS?

2. Bounty managers have a big role to play in crypto world, i believe if every bounty managers can be more serious about the projects they introduce spammers will reduce, few bounty managers still don't know how important Proof of Authentication is, without it scammers can just use others btt accounts without them knowing, to claim tokens, we need more good bounty managers in this space and not keep relying on few promising BM's like bubbalex, Arteezy, ltcbtcledger etc

Bounty campaign manager looks frustrated with many their campaign bounty failed during ICOs not success and many bounty manager campaign got red trust because they report as scammer, how ever we keep promote with ICO in bitcointalk forum to bring back how success full ICOs at the future and worth to join bounty campaign again.
Often the bounty manager is reported when the project being handled turns into a scam and they will get a red trust. Not only those of us who participated in the bounty campaign were disadvantaged, but many people were disadvantaged because of the scammers and in 2020 I hope that the bounty manager can be the key to avoiding scam projects or can minimize the possibility of scam projects. And for the ICO itself, I think there must be a factor that can encourage projects in the ICO to be very profitable or arguably many projects can be successful, I think it needs a factor that can encourage this.
527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: December 25, 2019, 03:58:01 PM
Its good to buy Ethereum now because price of this are cheap now, Especially now that many rumors said price of this will increase again in 2020 when bitcoin bull run come.  Actually im hoding ethereum because i believe erhereum will recover again next year.

Nice. I buy that idea.
Ethereum is considered as the bitcoin of altcoins. It is the subordinate of bitcoin but among altcoins, it is the ruling coin. There is no altcoin as strong as bitcoin. They are either scams or with small market. Apart from ethereum it is general trend that investors like going for ethereum because it could be used in short term trading and probably you can make money with it within months unlike a bitcoin.
Making money in a few months I think it depends on how the person can take the opportunity that exists or how they take advantage of the opportunity you can to make a profit. And for ETH itself, everyone knows that ETH is indeed a coin that can be said to rival bitcoin compared to other coins. But to be able to generate their own profits we must be able to look for opportunities or determine the right point to buy and sell the coins we have.
528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for the low to buy more Litecoins on: December 25, 2019, 01:25:57 PM
Don't know it will go under 30$ or not but if it did I will buy as much as I can if possible. But I think it mostly depends on bitcoin. We saw from the past when btc fall LTC fall too. So I think we need to wait for the next btc dump.
Do not wait for the price of the coin to fall deeper because for me personally when the price of the coin is arguably cheap and has the opportunity to be able to recover and provide profits, I will buy the coin and not too wait so that the price is cheaper because sometimes what we estimate is not in accordance with what is happening and that ultimately makes us feel a little sorry for expecting too much.
529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just earned my first 9$ in Bitcoin Cash, how can I grow it? on: December 25, 2019, 10:42:22 AM
9$ is a small amount if you want to invest. If you learn how to trade maybe you can make your 9$ a few hundred dollars in a few weeks or you can join the airdrop and bounty campaign to increase your funds
That amount is good for beginner or should I say those who want to try out trading, but we can't expect it to grow in just few weeks because its not a huge amount. It would be better to increase the funds first like using your fiat then buy worthy coins that is currently cheap.

First of all I would never recommend trading for inexperienced users. I have seen a lot of guys losing their hard earned coins this way. And another thing that we need to remember is that many of the exchanges do have steep deposit/withdrawal charges. So if you deposit $9 in an exchange, when you withdraw your cash it will be much lower than this amount. Also, the market is in a very depressed stage right now. The prevailing conditions are not very suitable for trading.

Though it's also best for inexperienced traders to start low. In this case, 9$ may look insignificant for experienced traders, but it's a good amount to try and get a good feel of how it is when trading. We always encourage newbies to trade with an only an amount that they can afford to lose. And I think this is an amount any aspiring trader can afford to lose.
For people who are just starting to trade, I think $ 9 is good for these people because they can get experience and be able to know with the trade so that before they start with a large amount they should at least understand how the trading situation is. And with a small amount they can have additional learning about trading on cryptocurrency and if they manage to benefit from it this is already a good achievement.
530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: December 25, 2019, 07:56:59 AM
Some people are greedy to earn thats why they can be easily fool for too good to be true offer even there's no such thing. Scammers are not the only one to blame but also those who bite their offer.

Scammers will exist as long as there are investors that are not careful when choosing where to invest. It will only lessen if we become cautious not to jump in any investment opportunity with big promises.

Yes it is true, although scammers are wrong but people who are interested in what they say must also reflect on themselves, why they can easily be interested in what the scammers say. In my opinion, it's true that greed can make money quickly which is the reason every investor is easy to trust what others are saying and in the end it is actually being used by scammers and we investors are better to be careful or better to ask for advice with the closest person before making a decision.
531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: December 24, 2019, 05:41:05 AM
For you to be able to avoid those scamming projects, you must be able to have enough knowledge first here in the cryptocurrency. There are a lot of investments here and one of the very common investments was investing to a project and waiting the project to reach he soft and hard cap of them then you will earn, but be aware of those scamming projects that is in the first they are good at paying but later on they will just be missing like a bubbles that will pop, and also don't be to much greed because one of the many reason why people get scammed is because of their greediness to earn.
knowledge is important after that, relationships also become important because if you have many relationships you will find it easier to find projects to do research, then you can invest or join a bounty campaign if you have one. but knowledge is preferred because if you don't have knowledge you can only listen to people's references without being able to understand the concept of the project independently
Both of them I feel are important where we have knowledge and also relationships with several people, so we can ask for advice from some people we trust or you could say the people closest to us who know about cryptocurrency and then we make our own observations about what has been suggested by him, how the research we do, whether in accordance with what is said or not and then it can be a reason for us to make decisions.
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No good projects from a long time on: December 23, 2019, 02:00:54 PM
People are used to when good projects themselves come into their hands. And this is normal.
However, one who wants to seek opportunities, who does not want to seek excuses.
After 2017, there have been significantly fewer strong projects on the market, but nevertheless they are enough for the current year and current realities, which makes me extremely happy.

The good year will come back and everyone of us will be happy again.
2017 was a good year and we all are hoping it will happen, though we have waited for so long but there's always hope to those who continue to believe.

crypto market together with altcoins and bitcoin will once again boom, believe me, that time around would be better.
Of course, everyone who is in cryptocurrency hopes that what happened in 2017 will be repeated again because in that year I also had a little regret for not selling my coins and still holding a few coins because in my opinion the price will rise but what the opposite happened and for now I still have faith that what happened in 2017 will be repeated again even though it takes quite a long time.
533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to hidden or Delete all coin in myether wallet? on: December 23, 2019, 08:56:28 AM

I used to do Air drop and bounty. Get all coins in time when the market is down. The value of all these coins lost 90% even now looking at it I do not believe it is no longer valid.
I cannot sell them because no one buys them, and its value can only be enough to transfer to exchange.
So do you have a way to hide it or delete all the coins from your wallet?
I don't think there is a way to hide or eliminate these coins from the wallet. It is true that we often get tokens from bounty projects and then we see prices continue to fall and slowly become worthless which then makes us feel that these tokens are useless and better to throw them away, but I don't think there is a way to eliminate them if the tokens do not have value and not listed in the exchange so that the token ends up just becoming junk in our wallet.
534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest my $1.5K? on: December 23, 2019, 06:00:44 AM
nothing will produce a quick return on investment, unless you buy when the trend is in a good situation and the price continues to be pumped, so at least you have the opportunity to make a quick profit. but if you buy when a bad trend happen then at least you have to invest long term and my advice is only to invest in top coins like the top 10 coins because that will guarantee profits even though you have to wait longer and need not doubt
For the time being it can be said that the trend is in bad condition and for the time being I personally think it is difficult to get profits in the short term or not for a long time and in my opinion investing into the top 10 coins requires quite a long time so that in the end we can generate advantage of it, but if there is a factor that can drive up the price of coins in the market then this is good news for people who hold coins or invest in them.
535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altseason Has Almost Arrived For Altcoins. on: December 22, 2019, 03:30:41 PM
Ah, more talk about this 'altcoin season' which is just gibberish.

Bitcoin needs to lead the way in the market, and that's the *only* way altcoins are ever going to stage a comeback.  They're not going to grow on their own.  Big money needs to be poured into the crypto market as a whole, and if and when that does happen, people are going to be buying bitcoin primarily.  Altcoins will just be a passive beneficiary of the generosity of those whales and all the smaller investors when they start snapping up all the good deals.
people are still waiting for him until now, so it's only natural that people wonder when the alt season is coming. but, in fact, they have also realized that bitcoin development is needed for that. however, 2020 is the long-awaited thing. I suspect that the altcoin season or bitcoin season will appear in 2020 to come.
Yes everyone would expect that to happen and they certainly hope that 2020 will arrive at the altcoin season. But for me personally in 2020, maybe the altcoin season will not arrive yet, because in my opinion the altcoin season might take a while to happen and also if we see bitcoin not showing a significant increase, just a few days ago bitcoin experienced a decline.
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Projects that failed to keep their promise in 2019 on: December 22, 2019, 11:00:50 AM
Many projects do not pay for the rights of the airdrop and bounty hunters, whereas if they use the logic of the project they get huge profits from investors and achieve their sales targets. This problem usually involves a bounty manager who is a scam and run away and the second is from the project that is really lying to the bounty hunter
This is something that is often obtained by bounty hunters where they do not get payment for what they have done or you could say the team behind the project carried off the money that was obtained from investors or they reasoned that the projects they brought had constraints so that payments or distribution of tokens given has been delayed and usually after we receive the token it actually has no value and only becomes junk in the wallet.
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to introduce crypto currency to newbies on: December 22, 2019, 08:31:06 AM
Well I cannot say we need to introduce to them about crypto currency, Ill think it depends on them if they want to learn in crypto currency if not well its good for us. Their are lots of Newbie right now want to learn in crypto and my advice to them must take a look in youtube there are many ways to learn more basic about in crypto. If they want more learn they have more threads in here it is a big help for them if they read some threads.
I think to introduce cryptocurrency to others, I think it's usually only done by someone who has a close friend. And most beginners who start to be in cryptocurrency usually they know by reading a site that talks about cryptocurrency and when they start to feel curious here we can help them to introduce more about what cryptocurrency is and I think this forum will really help them to be more understand what cryptocurrency is about.
538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which are your recommendations for best coins to invest in 2020? on: December 22, 2019, 06:09:42 AM
If you want a good coin that can benefit you. Choose those major ones such as btc, eth, xlm, xrp and bnb. These are considered blue chip with a stable marketcap. I think bull run will happened again, and once it did these coins will be the first one to reach a good ROI for youre asset.
Don't forget to have bitcoin because bitcoin is the best coins to invest besides of altcoin. Your list is good, and I see that every coin in your list can be a potential coin that can increase too. But for the best coins, bitcoin will still be the top coins for the investment. You can use your money to invest in bitcoin if you don't have the altcoin list because, with the only bitcoin, you will make a big profit in 2020 or the future.
For now, I would also prefer to invest into bitcoin because we know that bitcoin is a good coin to invest in the long run. But, that does not mean that other coins are not good coins for profit and for 2020 itself I also hope that that year will be a profitable year even though we don't know what will happen later and hopefully 2020 will be a happy year.
539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Consider All Altcoins Bad on: December 21, 2019, 02:46:50 PM
I personally think why many people consider that altcoin is bad maybe because they have invested in altcoin and they cannot make a profit from the coin or you can say they cannot look for opportunities to make a profit from the coin and when they fail and try again the same way and then get a loss back or can be said often they have failed in investing in altcoin which then makes people think that all altcoin is bad.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your preparation for 2020? on: December 21, 2019, 12:29:28 PM
I personally have prepared this by buying more bitcoin when the price is at the bottom and buying some altcoin that I think has the potential or opportunity to be able to generate profits in accordance with what I observed, even though we do not know what will happen later, but I personally have a belief that I can make a profit in 2020 and if the price of bitcoin doesn't pump maybe I will still choose to hold it for some time.
