Very difficult and very important win. Finally Barca showed that they have cojones and managed to win despite that they were trailing 2 times. First half was shitty, but in second Barca played like they supposed to play. Maybe Messi didn't scored today, but he maid 3 great assist tonight.

Some fun news - Salah and Henderson children have born yesterday. I think I don't have to remind what happened exactly 9 months ago Smiley. Coincidence? I don't think so.

5283  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What wallet should I use for Bitcoin? on: February 09, 2020, 06:59:51 PM
I would like to go to coinbase since most of my friends that is also doing crypto is using it. It also offers a double authentication every time you log on that will increase the security of your cryptocurrency. They are using it for a long time so I have decided to use it also since it is proven and tested by them.

The most secured wallet for me is Coinbase because i have used it for years and i don't encounter any system errors such as hacking, slow transaction, security problems and etc. So i think if you are looking for a secured wallet i suggest you should really used Coinbase wallet.
It's bad suggestion. Coinbase isn't a wallet at all. Coinbase is just centralized exchange, which requires KYC and where you don't have control of your crypto - they don't give you access to your private keys. And fact that you didn't had any issues so far doesn't mean anything. What if they just will kock your account with all funds tomorrow just because you got some crypto from gambling website? Exchanges is worst place to keep your crypto, and it applies to all exchanges, not just Coinbase.
5284  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What wallet should I use for Bitcoin? on: February 09, 2020, 12:06:11 AM
Why is nobody mentioning the bitcoin core wallet itself? I know you should have enough bandwidth and huge storage but if you can afford that, why not give it a try? For me, it is one of safest and when you want to transfer your coins to exchanges or other wallets, you will incur a very small fee, depending on your priorities.
Bitcoin Core definitely is a great choice, but OP is looking for Android wallet.
5285  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign rule - minimum of 20 posts must be in Gambling :D on: February 08, 2020, 11:37:21 PM
Well, 20 posts in Gambling only looks big. But I think that for active gamblers it's not a big deal to make 20 posts per week about gambling. Offcourse, if you're not interested in gambling, this campaign isn't for you, because you would have to spam hard to reach 20 posts quota.
Personally, I wouldn't join this campaign, despite that I post in Gambling boards frequently. 20 posts would be too much for me. I came to Bitcoin, not Gambling forum and I want to discuss about crypto primary, gambling is just additional stuff here.

It's not advised to store large amounts of money on phone, but if you prefer Android, there is few good options for you:
Bitcoin wallet - good, open source wallet with SegWit support. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.schildbach.wallet
Mycelium - another popular and safe wallet https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mycelium.wallet
Electrum - mobile version of one of the most popular desktop wallets https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.electrum.electrum
Coinomi - great multicurrency wallet. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
And probably best option - get Ledger Nano X hardware wallet - they have Ledger Live app for Android. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ledger.live

5288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: February 08, 2020, 10:38:31 PM
It was very surprising that Valencia lost to Getafe.
This lost actually made me lose my parlay for today. They lost so easily with 3 goals conceded... Unbelievable...
It's not surprising that Valencia lost, because Getafe is playing another great season. It's surprising how they lost. 3:0 and completely one sided game. If they continue to play like now, they have good chances to qualify to Champions league.
Plenty of interesting games on Sunday. First is Basque derby between Sociedad and Athletic. Then Celta - Sevilla - it's tricky game IMO. And finally Barca will visit Real Betis, former team of Setien. Games at Benito Villamarin are never easy for Barca, especially for current team.
5289  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Does Anyone Know This "Dark Web" exchange ???? on: February 07, 2020, 12:16:41 AM
Unfortunately, I don't have much experience on dark web, so I haven't heard about this exchange. If it's not secret, can you tell why do you need to use dark web exchange? My only advice would be - you should be extremely careful while dealing there. Dark web is full of scams and zero protection from them.

5291  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Inspire by the bitcointak guidlines on: February 06, 2020, 11:48:33 PM
I don't agree that it's difficult to earn even 1 merit. Well, it's not supposed to be easy, but if you make decent posts, you'll get more or less merits. And as I see, you're doing well so far. You made just 39 posts and got 12 merits already. It's good ratio.
These threads thst you listed is important to read definitely. And I think it's bad that Newbies after signup on Bitcointalk still don't get welcome message with most important things thst they need to know.
5292  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many active users here? on: February 06, 2020, 11:39:45 PM
According to BPIP, there are 117 530 active forum members. By active, the site is considering all accounts that have logged-in over the past 3 months, regardless of their activity (they may or not have posted).

Regarding the general stats, not all indicators are that accurate in terms of current data, since some of them seem to consider all forum history, and not just a recent period of time which, in some cases, may be more representative (i.e. average registrations per day is one of these).
Real number of active users is much smaller, probably way less than 100k. It's very difficult to tell real numbers. Big part of these counted active users are just bots who haven't made single post. There is also more or less alt accounts too.
@DdmrDdmr, maybe you have stats how many users had made at least 1 post in 3 months? It would more accurate number of active users.
5293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: February 06, 2020, 10:02:06 PM
So, Barca is eliminated too. Can't saay that's surprise, but it really hurts to concede goal on 93rd minute...
Now we have Mirandes, Real Sociedad, Granada and Athletic in semifinals. Can't remember such strange tournament when all big teams were kicked out so early. Now Basque derby probably would be besfinal. But personally, it would be amzing to see Mirandes claiming trophy.

5295  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 02-Feb-2020] on: February 05, 2020, 11:51:57 PM
ChipMixer is still accepting members, as DS stated. I think the table should be updated accordingly.

i would say if new applications are closed (and they do appear to be), that it doesn't belong in the "active" section. DS said he might accept others but the OP also says [FULL].

I just re-read his statement:
I might still accept a few more people in the near future (definitely someone active in Pilipinas) and will fill slots from applications that have already been made.

Let's agree that the above allegation is somehow abiguous.
So, now we don't have to make any interpretations, campaign is FULL now:

Probably badly worded on my part; additional applications while the campaign is "full" right now are fine and will be considered.
5296  Other / Meta / Re: Is there any possibility to put on ignore every member who display a signature? on: February 05, 2020, 11:35:11 PM
Do you think such massive ignore list would make your reading experience better? I doub. I imagine that then 90% of posts that you will see would be made by Newbie noobs who can't even wear signature. Is it something what you want to read? And at the same time you would ignore almost all best forum members like theymos, who also have signature which isn't commercial. Actually, very small part of active forum users don't have any signature at all.
5297  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [PSA] Fake Trezor wallet website on: February 05, 2020, 11:24:18 PM
Watch out for all kinds of fake links and sites.
Even the hardware wallets have vulnerabilites. Safest way to store coins is by using core wallet with a strong password.
Can you explain how Bitcoin Core can be safer option thand hardware wallet? Actually, properly made paper wallet is safest place to store your coins.
5298  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: February 05, 2020, 11:16:04 PM
@CryptoNinja11, I'm really sorry to read what happened to you. Unfortunately, you're not first, and probably not last person who have bad experience. I'm sure that you did nothing wrong. And worst thing when it comes to Coinpot that they don't communicate and you can only guess what really happened. My random guess would be that maybe some of your referrals were abusing their faucetsand Coinpot admin just flagged your account because it may be related with them.
5299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: February 05, 2020, 11:04:57 PM
I almost went with 'Mirandes to WIN' in my acca today, but then I saw the odds (3/1) and thought that it was too risky.

'Mirandes To Qualify' @2.70 odds could be decent for a single bet, but i don't know, that win against Sevilla may have been a fluke, and the one against Celta was pretty much two 2nd division sides playing so the game could've gone either way
So, I decided to risk with Mirandes win @4.15. It was small bet, but still, it's nice profit. I didn't watched game today, but I saw their match against Sevilla where they were really solid. 3rd division club in Copa semifinal - can't remember such thing.

Reporting to Google isn't always effective, they don't react always.

I think they do react, just not as fast as we wanted to. One thing's for sure though, it's going to need a good number of reports for Google to actually act upon it. Fortunately, reporting a site to Google only takes a few seconds so there's really nothing to lose by trying to report: https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_general/
Yeah, reporting to Google isn't bad thing too. But I remember case with Bitcointalk.to phishing website. It was reported by our forum members so many times and they never removed it.
