5301  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: February 28, 2018, 02:11:19 AM
what is the time frame on each level besides the activities.
It used to be this but with the introduction of "merit requirements", it's going to be different time frames for each user (little update: forgot to mention with the exception of reaching a Jr. member rank).

What is the difference between activities and post I have two different numbers on those.
Read this sticky thread.
5302  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ViewPointCrypto - cryptocurrency portfolio tracker on: February 27, 2018, 08:18:25 AM
Feedback is welcome, let us know what you think.
Apart from what I'm going to list, it's quite good:

1. Incorrect/bad alignment (for everything)
2. Having another column for adding a label would be nice (useful for distinguishing similar coin investments from each other).
5303  Other / Meta / Re: Moderators needed in Bitcoin Discussion section on: February 27, 2018, 06:33:08 AM
I think we need some additional moderators in this section to clear 99% of threads.
Although I agree (to an extent), what we need is more users that actually put efforts into reporting those (threads and spam/useless posts). Even if we had more "Moderators" for that section, there will always be some or rather a lot of unnoticed spam/useless posts (due to the amount of traffic on that section).
5304  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptocurrency Resources list on: February 27, 2018, 05:00:41 AM
You can add your links, vote and create a favorite links list.  Wink
1) Why there's a limit of "10 links" for submission?
2) You should consider adding a "vote down" option as well.

Depending on your need, you should move this to "Service Announcements" or "Project Development" boards.
Simply use the "move topic" button on the lower left corner of this thread.
5305  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trolling to Senior Membership on: February 27, 2018, 03:34:08 AM
Do these senior members actually know what they're talking about or are they senior members simply because they back every post they see with the goal of gaining activity and merit?
No one can give an accurate answer, unless you provide their names.

I went through a history of one member and found that the majority of post they have been posting since they became a member were accusations of scams and trolling on the same threads.
You should report those (trolling is against the rules).

This leaves me thinking that the BTT ranking system encourages users to troll and create spam
No, read the following posts:
3. No trolling.
However, trolling isn't allowed. If a user is habitually posting obviously false nonsense ("obviously false nonsense" to an outsider, NOT to someone who follows or is involved in the discussion) just to stir up trouble, then it's considered trolling, which is prohibited. Such cases should be thoroughly documented in the report though (There are tons of reports that just say "trolling", but moderators don't have time to look through each user's post).

and that rank on BTT really doesn't mean anything in terms of someones credibility.
Correct, especially since there's the issue of "account sales".
5306  Economy / Reputation / Re: I Have one trust rating from unknown guy because sell my token with smooth deal on: February 26, 2018, 08:56:05 AM
Can you confirm this If I am eligible to receive positive trust rating?
Yes, anyone can receive positive (and negative) ratings.

I just want to proof that I am one of a trusted people in this forum.
I think you're more concerned about those ratings to show by default (if that's the case, then only ratings from DT1 and 2 members are shown by default).
5307  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New website could use some feedback - TheBitcoinCalculator.com on: February 26, 2018, 07:24:48 AM
Any improvements you could suggest? especially to make it more user friendly? Or what else could be provided to offer value to the community?
1. Merging both tables into one.
2. Adding other combinations (ex. BTCitcoin to other currencies or cryptocurrencies)
3. Since your domain names is suitable for any sort of calculations regarding BTCitcoin, then maybe also add another table to calculate needed transaction fees (based on different dates), in order to have them included on the next block.
5308  Economy / Services / Re: Recommendation for a Bitcoin payment Network as publisher wanted on: February 26, 2018, 04:57:00 AM
As publisher I am looking for a Bitcoin Advertising Network for advertising Banner Advertising CPM & CPC for German speaking customers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
No Faucet traffic.
Target group are Bitcoin beginners who inform themselves in Blogs, News or info pages about Bitcoin.
Can anyone recommend a particular Bitcoin Advertising Network?
mellow ads falls on that category.

Here's a list of "Bitcoin Advertising Networks", it's a bit outdated so make sure to also read few of its last pages.
5309  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New site, need feedback please... on: February 25, 2018, 08:51:33 AM
and also the explorer you used to fetch the balance (if you are using a explorer, if not explain how you are doing it).
This feature is already available for registered users (your other suggestion would be nice though).

Suggestion for registered users:

1. Add a "delete" option for added addresses.
2. Separate "Save and Check Wallet" options to "Check Wallet" and "Save Wallet" (not that much of a priority though [as long as a "delete" option is added]).
5310  Other / Meta / Re: Trust problem: Need help with forum administration on: February 25, 2018, 06:25:12 AM
I always delete the letter after reading.
The whole "we were trading on Facebook/BCT/etc and deleted logs & messages" argument doesn't have any foundation to it.
rus23kav, from where did you delete those messages (FB, here or somewhere else)?
- If it's from here, then "request for having those restored" > Record a clear video (containing those) and upload it to YouTube > Then simply ask a reputable "Russian" user to verify it (an alternative option is to provide your account to a reputable user, in order for them to verify everything).
- Also the other involved party (if there is), might have them. Simply ask for their help (with the above steps).

Therefore, I ask the administration of the forum to intervene in this process, the administrator can easily prove my no guilt.
I'm still waiting for an answer from the administration of the forum, which can check and confirm my innocence!
Read the following:
19. Possible (or real) scams and Trust ratings are not moderated (to prevent moderation abuse).
Q: Do you moderate/delete (possible) FUD, accusations and untrue information?
A: No. We don't have enough time to check every single piece of information and verify the validity of the sources. Also, just like scams - too much room for bias and abuse.
Q: Why isn't trust moderated?
A: Feedback isn't moderated (except for obvious cases such as pure advertising, hundreds of identical empty/gibberish reports on one user) for the same reason as scams - too much room for abuse.

I do not understand why it's so hard to pay attention to my problem.
You're not the only one out there...

I think it's time to ban multi-accounts and then there will not be such precedents.
That won't be enough.
5311  Other / Meta / Re: Serbian local board application on: February 25, 2018, 05:00:14 AM
A board is much needed here as it is really hard to follow.
We have several parallel discussions in one topic and it's almost impossible to track the one that you are interested in.
Its really hard to follow Serbian thread.
Following discussions on less than a page (on average) of daily activities shouldn't be that hard (IMHO).

People have decreased posting in there as they don't want to make the situation worse.
By doing that, they're not helping this situation (local board application) either...

People critique each other there for posting too much and some users even said that they don't want to post replies in order not to overwhelm the topic.
That's why people give up on posting.
Then that should change (based on my observation, it's the only way).

I don't think that users should continue to limit their discussion just so the thread doesn't get absolutely impossible to read.
Agreed but it's not on that scale (yet).

As most of you don't want to post in our local board for unknown reason I don't see any reason why our board wouldn't be renamed in ex-yu board(or maybe I am too old?  Grin), more people would come and board will become more interesting, after all we are speaking the same language.

Other than taxes I don't see why we should be separated. This is forum after all, and local boards with different languages are for people who understand these languages.
Nice suggestion.

I am afraid that Serbian users would have to scroll just as much through this combined board to find relevant topics, as they already have to do in their current local topic.
Two different main sub boards can be created (to solve that issue) there (one for "Croatian topics" and the other for "Serbian topics"). This way it will be well organized.

We can make more comments there, and in same time more mess, but that is not a point.
We need a bit more free space for more activity, and we need support to make that happen.
I understand these valid points but in order to have your own local board, there should be a significant demand/need (unfortunately that's not the case at the moment and based on what I've seen from similar proposals, such stats aren't good enough).
5312  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] ChipMixer Signature Campaign | 0.00075 BTC/post on: February 25, 2018, 03:44:32 AM
I confirm receiving this weeks (my 10th week) payout, Thanks to DarkStar_ and ChipMixer Smiley
5313  Other / Meta / Re: Serbian local board application on: February 24, 2018, 08:00:30 PM
Unfortunately there's been a reduction in recent activities, while comparing it to aleksej996's application from last month (only 21½ pages for the past month, less than a page [on average] of daily activities).

If I were you, I wouldn't have any high hopes (for now).
5314  Other / Meta / Re: Authority moderator on: February 24, 2018, 01:09:38 PM
Since Theymos and Cyrus didn't prioritize recovery account then maybe its better to give Global Moderator that authority so waiting recovering will be faster than now.
Can moderator ask Theymos this idea? Thanks
I think hilariousandco (a "Global Moderator") already has that authority (based on few of his/her recent posts):

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0

Can you follow that? If not, if you can reasonably prove the account is yours I can unlock it.

If you can sign a message from it then I can unlock it for you.

If you can send me it I can unlock it.

The best thing will happen is a new manager added for this purpose.
A manager (I hope not) and not a Global Moderator? Shocked

Update:
No, he doesn't. He can only unlock accounts he can't recover them. Apparently unlocking and recovering accounts are not the same.
My bad, thanks for clarifying.
5315  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I made a thing. Moon Banking lets you rank banks on crypto-friendliness. on: February 24, 2018, 11:04:21 AM
Feedback appreciated.
Found a bug:
- I can easily vote up/down multiple times for each bank (I tested by voting > refreshed the page > was able to vote again).

I suggest to switch places of "Request a bank" with the "drop-down menu that changes results based on countries".
5316  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: New Crypto Lottery with x99 Win Rate on: February 24, 2018, 05:47:15 AM
Just launch a new crypto game https://onlot.net and looking for feedback.
Tried it for fun (usually I don't use such websites) and have the following suggestion/feedback:

1. Everything seems to be a bit larger than they should be (somehow annoying), so perhaps resize everything into a smaller scale.
2. There's a bit of "delayed action" for everything.

Atomic Swaps Allow You to Trade From Blockchain to Blockchain, From Within Your Wallet
An atomic swap is a direct trade between two different coins running on two separate blockchains; there are no centralized-exchange websites or other third-parties required for this trade. The technology enables common users to bypass the labyrinth of website-exchanges currently necessary to purchase cryptocurrencies. Once implemented, the atomic swap will allow common users to trade and purchase any desired coin directly within their own wallets.

Everything You Need to Know about Atomic Swaps, and How Komodo is Advancing the Technology
Over the last several years, at Komodo we have quietly worked with a blockchain innovation called “The Atomic Swap,” a technology seen recently in the news. The growth of this technology throughout the entire market shows an exciting future where cryptocurrencies can be accessible to the average user. The Komodo Platform is the first exchange to support atomic swaps, and we have even forged our own unique variations of the protocol, advancing the technology beyond its previous capabilities.

5318  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Coin Market Shops: Discover places that accept cryptocurrency payments on: February 23, 2018, 03:50:14 PM
So that inspired me to take the challenge and build such a curated website my self.
It appears, that isn't the only reason behind it. I've noticed the referral links that you're trying to indirectly promote (on each website page that you created, visible by hovering over the "Visit Website" button).

The last thing I want to do is display scammy sites. So that's removed, and I'll try to do some more research on the sites before adding them.
You can also use "Badbitcoin" for filtering those out (don't completely rely on it, it's just for reducing the process).

Will be happy to get any feedback I can get as well.
Adding other websites that don't offer a ref commission Wink
5319  Other / Meta / Re: When posts get deleted on: February 22, 2018, 11:18:44 AM
I was just wondering if you could see from which thread it was deleted?
Directly "NO" but indirectly, you can use other clone websites.

Post in question:

With a simple google search, was able to find the thread: Mining rig builded by kids Smiley
Direct link (screenshot of the google search): https://imgur.com/a/0pOIi

Although most of the time, there are inaccurate results (ex. If you click the link of the clone website, it goes to "Miners should promote Dot-Bit" instead.
Take note: I didn't use the clone extension link and instead simply searched those thread names here.

Just want to suggest adding the thread to the automated message perhaps?
Good suggestion.
5320  Economy / Services / Re: cryptocurrency shop on: February 22, 2018, 07:14:13 AM
I would like to know is there any all around crypto shop ( in ebay / amazon / aliexpress fashion ) as i'm not aware of any
There's few (to an extent):

1. Purse
2. All4btc
3. bitify
4. newegg
5. Overstock

and do you think one should exist?
Yes, but it won't be easy.

Now i would prefer to find people that produce their own products and are interested in trading them online for fixed crypto price (example if it goes for 0.17 eth it will be 0.17 eth regardless of eth being 800$ 1000$ or 1258$.
That's not fair. Crypto prices should change according to their real values.

It could also work as gateway to ebay / amazon / aliexpress where small % fee ( 3 - 5 % ) would be charged to buy items and have them send to you by ebay / amazon / aliexpress seller.
The following websites, fall on that category:

1. Purse
2. All4btc
