Hey people, I was wondering, would you be interested in a bitcointalk.org lottery? I didn't saw any and I'd like to organize one. It could be a rather easy daily thread. Every day you can come and buy any amount of tickets you want at 0.01 btc then we could draw a number. Or maybe do it on a larger scale to have bigger prizes! I'm totally willing to organize this and I could send enough funds to a trusted escrow so you can be sure I'm not going to run away with the coins xD Like if I escrow 1 btc it means I could sell until 1 btc worth of tickets without you to be worried of me running away! The only problem I got is that I could still play with an alt and then make enough dran on random.org to make me win, so does anyone have an idea on how I could draw a random number and prove every one it was a true random unique draw and not my 56th try to draw my number? ^^ If anyone is interested don't hesitate to answer in the thread or pm me  I think its a little bit hard because we are talking money here folks. Just as what you said you could possibly create alts which you could know the number results. I do like the idea on a lottery but the hindrance is on how to show to winning numbers. no, bitcoin has not "changed" my life. my life is what it was even before using bitcoin.
but it surely has helped me, so i can say in a way bitcoin has improved my life a little bit. as i can earn some money on the side from trading it with altcoins,... and this money is a good help financially.
Bitcoin can help our financial . I feel that too dude, usually i earn bitcoin by signatures campaign also tradin And the income from that is enough to help me with my necessary. I use my bitcoin to complete my monthly bill. Bitcoin do really helps us especially in our financial problems its not decent enough but its better than nothing. It could somewhat save you from some expenses thats why bitcoin is helpful also to me but also to us almost bitcoin users. It also adds convenience for us to transfer funds to our love ones without any hassle. |

Fiat will stay exactly the same, no matter what the price of Bitcoin is. Nothing can change fiat beside the governments themself. The only chance for Bitcoin to make fiat less usable/interesting, is when people world wide start to use Bitcoin more than their fiat currency.
Thats not possible though because even how many people who used bitcoin but still they are exchanging it to fiat and bitcoin could not make paper currency disappear since they only rely to the value of fiat equally to their value in the market which is really impossible to happen that bitcoin could make fiat money useless. Even if people around the world start using bitcoin more often then fiat it still wont be able to make fiat worthless, and for spending bitcoins more than fiat you would need more places for accepting bitcoin and that is not possible if government does not authorize it, and if government authorizes bitcoin to be used wherever wanted then it may get used more often and in that case fiat might be a bit lower. Remember , that we dont have only 1 currency but there are lots of currencies to be seen and different governments do create them. You are correct adoption would be the big question because even how high the price of bitcoin but there are countries does not allowed the use of bitcoin. Thats a big problem of bitcoin when it tires to replace fiat. |

Hi All, Just want to share my experience here. Recently i just found out, as long as i copy my bitcoin address and paste it to other page, it changes to different unknown bitcoin address that doesn't belongs to mine. Luckily i notice the address is different from mine, no loss is caused. Finally i fix it with anti-malware, now my pc is back to health again.   I experienced the same scenario when im trying to transafer funds to another address luckily ive noticed it right away because i have a habit on double check or even triple the address before i send thats why it saves me from that. There are really malwares that cant be detected by AV. |

I would prefer to pick up both. I think that gold is more stable, and its value is recognized worldwide. And I would want to put some money into bitcoin as well, because it has great potential to increase in value, despite the fact that it is more unstable.
For me gold is only a precious metal for ornament and bitcoin is a good asset with higher profit, so I will choose for bitcoin as it has the potential to increase in value and I need an asset so that I earn more money with that. gold is a really precious metal and i think that it is a good investment but in my opinion bitcoins are way better right now as they are digital Invest money in gold and start earning bicoins so you don't have to put real money in bitcoins, so in this way in long run you will be holding both of them and making some good profits out of them. i think he have a lot of money and looks he not interested to earn free bitcoin maybe he interested to earn bitcoin only with trading because with trading you can earn a lot of money when the price rise. he is not an openminded person he just focuses on trading , he is not interested on earning free bitcoin in the other way. Its up to him we are just saying what are the other methods. I do prefer gold than bitcoin because not all stores now accepting bitcoin as payment. Its his choice since in trading you could earn bitcoin as much as you want and more profitable compare to other ways on earning bitcoin. Well gold is a very precious investment since it raises its value as the yars goes by but you need huge amount to make capital on it not compared to bitcoin that you can bought a small amount then you can maximize it to some investments. |

Well its not really surprising that bitcoins price is now gradually increasing up because it stabilizes its price for a while after the sudden dump because of bitfinex incident. Well lets hope that it would rise again and reach $700+ this year.

yeah it is a terrible thing to happen, when you see a big exchange with mad volumes get hacked.
but it is not a disaster, at least not as bad as you want to show it. people are trading 100-300K bitcoin everyday how can one 120K hack be a disaster for bitcoin price and this volume is without the 500K bitcoin that is being traded on Chinese exchanges alone.
Ridiculous argument. How much of those Bitcoin traded are simply the same BTC going backwards and forwards, especially on the Chinese exchanges... ...this was 120K, take out of the major Bitcoin exchange's wallet, and in turn, thee major global Bitcoin exchange made sure every single one of it's customers took a hit for it. I have lost, 2-3 times what I made trading Bitcoin over the past 3-4 months. I shan't be touching BTC with a 10ft dogshit covered bargepole ever again and literally thousands of others will be feeling the same way. The exchanges cannot be trusted. Simple as that, and having any significant amount of money on them is a game of Russian roullette, and all for what? For a financial asset that has been pounded into the ground by the performance of many conventional stocks this year, and last year, and the year before....etc... you say this as if i was defending them, no those fu**ers stole my money too, i also lost my BTC. i am saying it is not a "disaster" because most of all the hacker is not going to dump 120K in one place at one time. if the hackers wants to sell it then he will do it slowly and with smaller amounts that market never even feels it. besides they will not dump it publicly on an exchange, it will probably go down off sites. They are not dumb enough to dump those all coins in a single transaction for sure they would took down exchange sites. For me its still a disaster since it really affect the bitcoins price dump a little bit. We cant trully trust exchanging sites since i have a suspicion that those hacked incident would have a possibility on inside job. |

I think it is not the best decision at the time. The main reason is that bitcoin is a highly volatile currency, so I could not take the risk of having it as my salary, because the price may change every time that I get it, and manage it will be really difficult.
That is true. You can accept a portion of your salary in Bitcoin. That way, you will still be able to cover your daily expenses even if Bitcoin crashes. But you will benefit from gains in the currency. Good for us but for the others they think of their salary so much because they need the whole amount to feed their family, life is really hard when you are just a mere worker, you will receive a low salary but your needs keep rising. Only those you receive big income will allow that to happen to them. For sure most of the workers who have only an enough amount of salary on their needs would surely choose fiat rather than bitcoin since they like to recieve fix income rather than on bitcoin which is volatile they would not to take risk because they might recieve more or less money and it depends on bitcoin price. |

I would say that not anytime is a good time to borrow bitcoin. But if you have that kind of reason on why you are borrowing bitcoin then that is going to be useful at all. Because you want to earn with bitcoin and that is going to give you good profit if you are going to borrow a lot. But the question is how you are going to pay that if you are just going to hold it. And there is only a fixed time required and people must pay the debt. What if the bitcoin price increase people expecting out of their loan didn't happen on a term period. The result? Wrecked! So better borrow if you will only use if for main purposes. Its their lose if the price will go up or down its because the barrower will pay accordingly on how much amount of btc he barrowed the lender and it is part of consiquences since they didn't looking up for flactuation changes, and i don't think also barrower or lender thinking for that scenario since the lender will still earn for the little percent of the barrowers payments. But i don't see wrecking scenario on the part of lender or even in the barrower its because both manage the payments accordingly to terms and agreements of their deal. There would be still equal but the lender would have the advantage since the borrower pays with his debt with interest which is normal in these kind of lending business. It doesnt matter about the inflation and fluctuations of bitcoins price as long their agreement if being followed. |

Signature campaign is ggod way to earn bitcoin, but not the best I think. I think one of the best way to earn bitcoin is to sell your skills on bitcointalk. Faucet's isn't profitable - it pays very low amounts and it becomes a bit difficult to use due to hard anti-bot buttons and safety limitations on Faucetbox faucets. But I'm still earning from faucets, but signature campaign gives me bigger income.

Hope i am not eligible to earn from this site as i am a new member don't use faucet, you can get some income from faucet only if you referred hundreds of users but if you only rely on yourself claiming dust amount you will only end up getting nothing compared to earning from other ways I have experience doing faucet when I was newbie, only at first you feel you are making money but overtime you feel bored because you really want more, imagine the time you spend just to make money in faucets, have you use that effort on a high paying job you could earn more than enough. same here, i started in bitcoin world using faucets too, at first i thought i can be rich just by claiming free bitcoins at faucet sites all day long but soon i realized i am just wasting my precious time in there, i am only getting around $.25 in a day And how many hours do you need to work for that? I think you will lose your health if you are too focus with faucet, there are other ways to make money which does not need a lot of time, like for instance you invest and trade at the same time. as he said he spent a day on faucets which is a really dumb thing to do since it would only give you a small amount and doesnt worth for your effort. By the way you could leave a negative trust but still it would be putted in default maybe it would be somehow useful for future reference of the user but still it would not give any effect to the user that you have given the negative trust. |

Staying under 600 $ is not bad thing, as I see situation bitcoin is worth double more then 7 months ago when I joined. That is a good price, and its nice that you have good prediction skills, you can use that skills to earn coins with trading. Price is stable for some time, and for me that is good sign.
Price will go up, I don't doubt in that. In the end of the year, or next year for me is not so important. Price is already high and one day, sooner or later we will touch that famous 1000 again, I would love to see that.
That's correct, the current price isn't all that bad. However, many people here don't look back at what kind of increase we have had previously. They only care about the price to go up from current levels so they can sell at a profit. They keep complaining on the current price of bitcoin, $500+ mark isnt bad at all and this price is high compare to previous years even the price is somewhat stable for now i know that bitcoin is up to prepare to a high price pump i guess which most of us are hoping for that time would come so that we would gain some decent profits with it. |

I think it's depend on what type of gambling that you gamble. If you gamble on dice sites and provably fair games, you can easily busted if you gamble for long run.
Dice sites is good if you are lucky but in the long run you will lose therefore you just play for fun and you will safe there, it does not matter if you lose as long as you enjoy and to be safe does not mean you will not experience any loses, it is just a matter of minimizing your loses. Dice sites are treated for bored people only and if you have a lot of spare time then you are going to spend it with dice sites. But only luck is going to make you win with it. Because higher chance of losing is still there and if you are going to think about it only few people are winning good amount of income with dice only the house edge does. Higher chance, lower profit. Higher profit, lower chance. Same thing, but one just takes more or less than another. It's still a bad idea to play with more than you can afford. True, even how you would adjust those odds on a certain game the result would be still the same which is you would end up lossing in the end. I have one true way for to save money in this world , it is you have to work more and you have to make money more and after that you will have to money for save .
Having money is another thing and saving them is totally another, though you are right that if you dont have money you wont be able to save but there are also some people who has money but still they cannot save anything because they do not manage their money in a good way and just spend them everywhere without keeping any records and then they realize they finished everything and nothing left to be saved. This is somewhat a true story because some people do have money cant even save a single penny unless if they have a money on banks but still its not wise to spent money on useless things. If you earn too much money then its okay for now but nothing last forever there would be times that you would definitely suffer such crisis of your life then thats the time you would start regretting for sure. |

The only smartest way is only using martingale with little luck to earn some profit and you need to manage on how much your balance is and how much are you going to use the base bet. That's nice that you are spending your bitcoin with goods is bitcoin are legal in your country where all store or limited store are accepting bitcoin as a payment ? because here in my country limited stores only who acepting bitcoin as a payment so that i only use my bitcoin to pay my bills like water bills and etc. My income in posting here is actually use to pay our water bill, I have to be thankful with bitcoin as it gives a little ease in my life due to my side job, I do not need to spend money from my personal income in my real job. So amazing, bitcoin has really help you in any way, although the amount you are earning is not that big but as long as you earn that is something we need to thank of, in return we must continue to support bitcoin by spreading the good news to our friends and families. Many people do benefits on bitcoins existence as of now, it helps a lot in many ways and the major one is giving us some decent amounts on earning it here on this forum by doing signature campaigns and other source because of that ways it help us somehow on our daily needs or even on monthly bills same as others said. |

My suggestion to you is that you need to learn more about Bitcoin, market movements, mining and another informations about cryptocurrencies. Then choose the investment with good earning potential and lower risk.
What if op has already the knowledge about all that things that he must know. Then I would say that amount of $100 is going to be profitable at all if he is going to invest that in trading as it is the only investment that is going to give good profit for that capital. But he needs to be a good trader in able for him to get some good profit. Thats true,$100 is enough already to invest on trading and you would definitely gain profit out of it when you do succesful trades with altcoin but do remember that you must search for good potential coins before proceeding because trading is easy to say but its hard to do when you are in the middle of platform. |
