How to grow your business during COVID 19?

In my opinion the best way to grow your business during corona would be to focus on the internet. Due to so many people doing home office we have more and more people spending their time online. We don't need to commute to work everyday, so with all that time we can spend more time online, shopping, surfing or just on social media. IF you just look for more customers, I would  recommend to have more ads on social media.
5382  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is there anyone here who goes to the gym? on: September 17, 2020, 06:04:04 PM
I stopped going to the gym when the corona lock down hit my city. Since a few months the gyms are back open but it doesn't feel the same when you are working out with a mask. Also I really enjoyed going to the pool and sauna after the workout, both of which are still closed. Now I am just doing some biking and running in the park near my house. Maybe in the winter I will be going back to the gym, but for now I am just saving up the gym money.
5383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling sites should be careful of bringing eSports in on: September 17, 2020, 06:01:29 PM

Parents can at least set their mobile phone protected content, privacy, and payment methods, so the kids can not use for something that their parents don't know. The parents need to explain that playing gambling is not good for them because once the kids become addicting, they can use their parent's money to gamble. The parent's control always needed to prevent the kids from browsing on the gambling or the other thing that they should not visit in their ages.

I agree, controlling the money is a good way to enforce strict no gambling rules. But there are also a lot of apps having casino games with play money. And the kids could still use their monthly allowance to gamble. It's better to supervise the kids more closely in my opinion. I remember when I was younger I was using various apps which where instantly added to my monthly phone bill. So my parents didn't really notice at first where I was spending my money. And only after a some months they noticed.
5384  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to maintain your good health? on: September 17, 2020, 05:51:37 PM
If you implement these few instructions in your life then you will be fit and healthy:
1. Have Breakfast
2. Drink Plenty of Water
3. Take an Exercise Break
4. Go Offline and sleep on time
5. Learn Something New(New skills help keep your brain healthy)
6. Don't Smoke
7. Train Your Muscles

Sounds like a solid plan, maybe a few points like:

8. Don't drink more alcohol than a glass of wine.
9. Don't drink more than 2-3 coffees a day, too much coffein is not good for you.
10. Go outside everyday and if you can walk or take the bike instead of using a car.
5385  Economy / Economics / Re: Boris is right a second lockdown could cripple UK economy. on: September 17, 2020, 05:37:48 PM
Anthony Costello (ex who expert) has sensationally claimed that there’re 38k cases of covid infections taking place daily in UK, and there have been claims about lack of testing too. It is due to these claims that Chief Medical Officer for England Chris Whitty is pushing for a 2 week strict lockdown, but Boris is resisting this and like it or not I feel that he’s taking the correct decision at this stage. While I understand that covid effects are dangerous, but UK’s economy currently is fragile, and shutting it now could completely cripple whatever is left of their economy, hence I support Boris call that UK should not do a fresh lockdown.

Quote

Ex-WHO expert Anthony Costello tweeted: "I’m hearing from a well-connected person that government now thinks, in absence of testing, there are 38,000 infections per day.

"Chris Whitty is advising PM for a two week national lockdown."

I think another lockdown would cripple any country, not only the UK. Almost every country will have a negative growth in GDP this year due to corona and lock downs. We saw drops in all major countries between 7-30%, which is massive. We just can't afford another lock down. There needs to be a trade off between saving lifes and stabilising the economy. I believe we should be taking good care of high risk people and elderly people, but closing down the hole country for everyone is just too much. We still don't know how long corona will be around so it's better to adapt to a life with corona.
5386  Other / Off-topic / Re: Pirated Software: When and Why? on: September 17, 2020, 10:13:44 AM
What was the last software you downloaded with the intention of not paying for a full version either with a crack or keygen and why did you choose that particular version of that software rather than a similar one?

For me, I am teetotal I never ever used pirated software and never will  Grin

I can understand you and agree with you that pirating software is bad. I normally always buy the software, especially if it's a smaller developer studio that really needs the sales. If they are doing a good job with the software they deserve to earn money from it. The only time I download something if it's a rip off. If I already paid for something a few years acl but lost the key, or invoice in the meantime and don't have access anymore. I am reluctant to pay for the same things twice. Happened to me a few times with PC games.
5387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to call the people into crypto on: September 17, 2020, 10:02:13 AM
Well if people saw the posible profit that they can posibly earn in crypto maybe there is no need to call them in crypto. Because i believe that people really need profit and we can earn profit in crypto if we work hard or understand how it works. Maybe the only thing that we can do is share and be more patience pandemic will soon end and crypto will maybe rise up high, so i think the very best time to start is now.

I have been trying this approach for years now with a good friend of mine. He is very good with computers and the Internet and I keep trying to convince him to go into crypto currencies. Even when I showed him my new bike I bought with profits from cryptos he remains sceptical. Maybe I am just too bad at getting him hyped, but I would love for more of my friends to be invested. I mean it doesn't take much money! Everyone can start with a little money and just give it a try.
5388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Worthwhile freerolls and low stakes high prize on: September 17, 2020, 09:57:52 AM
No luck for me yesterday, managed to knock out 5 people but then lost it all with AA vs A7 who managed to hit a 7 on the flop and turn. It's frustrating playing for an hour and then get out close to the money. I still have 3 tickets left I couldn't use yet, so seems like I will play this weekend again.

I am also looking for a new poker site with a food deposit bonus, don't feel like adding any money to pokerstars without a promotion. Any recommendations for mid size poker sites?
5389  Other / Off-topic / Re: USA Military Expenditure: Why Spend So Much? on: September 17, 2020, 09:41:15 AM
The USA is the last remaining super power leading in the air force and navy. The army is just not such a big focus for USA as with controlling the sea and skies you can dominate the rest. With countries such as Russia, China and India trying to become a super power, the USA needs to invest more and more in research and development. Just look at all the new aircraft carriers and destroyers being build right. And then of course you nerd new planes for those. It's constant struggle to stay on top of everyone else. I am glad the Americans are still dominating with their mitilitary. We will be in deep double once China is on the top.
5390  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: September 17, 2020, 09:35:31 AM
I think these are alarming news and we all need to prepare our self's for the worst. Most of the developed nations are not self-sufficient in terms of food supply. Especially in Europe a lot of countries rely heavily on importing food across the world. What if prices keep increasing and we won't be able to important all the food we need?
I am already growing done fruits like apples and various berries myself, even some tomatoes and salad but this just kit enough to self sufficient. It takes a lot of land to grow the amounts to support a family.
5391  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Does MEDIA affect you? A poll on: September 17, 2020, 08:27:54 AM
Social media makes people rabid. There's so much anger in people that fuels tribalism and it isn't healthy. How can you have a conversation with someone that thinks your a Nazi, racist, xenophobe...so on so forth.

Does anyone remember how the internet was 10 years ago? When people were not being offended by everything? Internet users in 2020 are getting triggered by everything. It almost impossible to have a decent conversation on social media about any topic. People are getting either mad and start trolling or are angry and offended. I wish everyone was more relaxed on the internet.
5392  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Do you do in your free time? on: September 17, 2020, 06:43:28 AM
Most of my free time I use to be with my family and try to go outside when possible, because now with corona and home office we spent a lot of time at home. I also use some of my free time for gambling and investing in crypto currencies, mostly in the evenings instead of watching TV.
5393  Other / Archival / Re: Most popular discord gambling bots on: September 16, 2020, 06:55:46 PM
didn't know that there are an existing discord gambling bots, does anyone tried this already? in any cases does anyone know how to check the fairness of this bot? i don't actually have trust to this kind of gambling games like on telegram gambling bots.

Same here, this could be a huge user boost to discord. The only bot I really know on discord is the music bot, it's awesome and I used it for a long time on my channel. I have read about casinos on discord but never thought they were legit. I have less than a 80 users on my discord channel so I am not sure if it's really worth it to get a bot for gambling.
Would be nice to see some feedback on here of people actually using a bot on their channel. Can you make money with it?
5394  Other / Off-topic / Re: Health is Wealth: You Take Supplements? on: September 16, 2020, 06:42:11 PM
I take daily vitamin and fish oil tablets, and try to eat healthy and lose weight. I wonder how many health tablets are enough. There are so many types, and I don't want to feel like a walking medicine cabinet.
Just this past month that i try Fish oil and yes it is Good as i can feel the effect, and also Cranberries and garlic with honey everyday.

And 10-20 mins jogging or walking daily and going to Gym twice a week what make me fit and healthy now.

I really like Cranberries myself but never tried them as pills. Cranberry juice is very tasty and I read that many athletes are drinking it. Not sure why but I don't like taking too many pills everyday, I would prefer to take the vitamins as fruits or juice whenever possible. For me personally I like to eat ginger a lemons for many meals.
5395  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin dont pay our billls we need passive income on: September 16, 2020, 06:26:31 PM
btc is not good to pay our bills.,

we need new way of passive income goverments should start giving out universal income Smiley there is need for passive income

who will vote for that?=

You're wrong! Bitcoin is one of my source to pay my bills specially this time of pandemic that i don't have other works. Try to invest in bitcoin and you will see the result if you have enough knowledge about it. Don't underestimate what bitcoin can do for you. Be diligent and don't rely on free money or even in the government. You can do something to earn ,it is called Hard Work.

Also don't forget that many other asset classes don't pay a passive income. If you invest in commodities, ETFs, or real estate fund there is normally no passive income. All gains from the funds are usually reinvested in the fund are shown through the price. All winnings are coming from price appreciation and will be realised when selling the funds. Building a stock portfolio around dividend stocks will also not be enough return to actually live from it. Dividends are only paid once a year and the return is just not high enough.
5396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Card counting in black jack on: September 16, 2020, 06:10:56 PM
It turns out that card counting in blackjack is quite difficult when it's actually done at a casino. Even though when our practice was
smooth using the card counting strategy, but when used in casinos there are too many obstacles and pressures that make it difficult
for us to focus on card counting. So the card counting strategy really has to increase the practice, so that we can focus and concentrate.

It is, you need 100% concentration and zero distraction I don't know how these people do it but it's more of countless hours of practice and of course, you also need luck, luck that you have a good state of mind to give 100% concentration and zero distractions I read in one article that it's illegal, so you are actually doing it without anybody noticing it.

I don't think you can do it alone it's just too much work for one person. Just because you are counting a deck doesn't mean that the odds will be in your favour. It might be that you watch a table for 1h and it's still not enough odds in your favour to start actually playing. Most people who were successful in card counting had a hole team working on it. It's best to have 2-3 spotter just to find the best deck for you, and you want to stay relaxed and fresh yourself until you actually start playing. The game can be quite fast with many people playing on a table.
5397  Economy / Economics / Re: Can legalisation of Cannabis help US economy? on: September 16, 2020, 04:25:55 PM

Can reduce the crime rate for sure but it will reduce the working of the population as marijuana consumption reduces the working of the brain.
And this can also create marijuana addicts, people can always meditate rather than relying on a substance to keep them high.
Unless it's recommended i condone the use of marijuana.

But is the legalisation of cannabis across the US really going to bring a lot of new people to use cannabis? I would assume the people who want to take weed are already doing so today. You can buy it any big city even though it's illegal. Just look at the Netherlands for example, you have plenty of coffee shops across the country and only a few dutch people actually smoke. Most of the visitors are tourist. I believe that making cannabis legal would also make it less interesting for kids to try it, when it's not illegal anymore it loses it's charm.
5398  Other / Off-topic / Re: do you think Healthcare and College should be free for all in the US? If so, how on: September 16, 2020, 03:53:06 PM
In my opinion there needs a form of higher education that is available for everyone, even if you can't pay tuition. Having colleges across the country without tuition would be a good start to increase eductation levels for many people. But, there needs to difference in eduction, we can't have all the same level of education and being taught the exact same things. To attract the best professors in the world to ivy league universities the salary must be higher than on an average college. Otherwise a lot of teachers would prefer a job in the private sector.
5399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do think about skill games? on: September 16, 2020, 03:36:57 PM
I like slots mostly when playing with other you can drink while playing. The Las Vegas atmosphere with floors full of slot machines and many people playing is awesome. Playing slots at home is not so interesting for me. I do it from time to time but not very long. Skill based games are just more rewarding, sure you need to concentrate but it is more fun. When playing online I would always prefer skill games to slots.
