543  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] TAT.ASICMINER New Micro-share Passthrough! on: June 06, 2013, 12:10:47 PM
Ugh, another issue with dividend payout.

The software has partially failed or something. Not everyone has gotten their dividend, so please be careful to check before you sell, etc.

growing pains?
544  Economy / Securities / Re: High Frequency Trading Algorithm ETF IPO on: June 06, 2013, 12:10:16 PM
Just to report, Im receiving dividends from my JDBIF scam shares  Tongue It is paying a bit every day. And I withdraw ASAP.  Grin

lol, thats funny because the crux of 3 pages worth of "why this fund is a scam" was based on that other person's fund being a scam in the past

545  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Difficulty 252,000,000 in December 2013 on: June 05, 2013, 12:37:53 PM
hmm I should be shorting bitcoins then

with the size of blocks average 25.20 btc one can clearly see that more coins are being added than # of transactions to justify the size of the economy

the difficulty jump today is expected to be 28% so your spreadsheet makes too many assumptions

Just join my group buy.  Don't start another one, unless you are scamming.

false dilemma to prove legitimacy or lack thereof

classy, classy
547  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Comprehensive ASICMiner Blade Setup on: June 03, 2013, 02:24:03 PM
my paper clip trick on my powersupply is unstable, I put electrical tape over it (just that part of the connector it covers maybe 5 pins in a row) but it doesn't hold the paper clip down forever, it becomes less effective and the paper clip is able to move just the slightest to turn the power supply off

how do other people deal with this? Its just a minor annoyance because the block erupter blade reboots so quickly and gets back to work
548  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTCTC][[ASICMINER-PT]] - Public trading of ASICMINER shares on: May 30, 2013, 04:31:27 AM
looks like burnside just turned on a fee instead

fee?

My trades on BTCT.CO in the last few hours have had a fee associated with them

There has always been a 0.2% fee for trades...

for every kind of trade? I have seen lots of 0% trades.... hm

lol a Vanautu IBC

this is actually pretty interesting since you can purchase mining equipment completely with bitcoins your IBC doesn't need a bank account I am assuming?

Have todays dividends been paid on PT shares yet?

No, check the history tab:

https://btct.co/security/ASICMINER-PT

Still not received but having received my TAT div I sold my TAT shares (before the 2nd div came) and put as many as I could into PT.  Awesome that you can collect dividends from both each week due to the time difference in paying out.

did you factor in the spread? I mean you can't sell any meaningful amount without getting hit by the spread, enough to get a ASICMINER-PT dividend
553  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] TAT.ASICMINER New Micro-share Passthrough! on: May 29, 2013, 11:56:47 PM
oh, I reinvested in TAT.ASICMINER, so thats "good" right? an equivalent exchange?

I just noticed that I didn't get my ASICMINER-PT shares and instead got double divs from this one
554  Economy / Securities / Re: Bitcoin on the public markets? on: May 29, 2013, 11:53:11 PM
a) its a good idea, its hardly original, this simply hasn't been done yet due to FUD about the legal/compliance overhead costs

b) the overhead costs are not as great as people would have you think, and even though someone mentioned it, there ain't nothing wrong with a reverse merger, you need to make some phone calls to Vancouver.

c) purchasing that many bitcoins is entirely possibly, but the acquisition would have to be negotiated with several large market participants over the counter instead of on the order books. you can also hold futures contracts to maturity, or negotiate them.

d) the entity structure of your operation is sound. holdings companies aren't that complicated

e) launching this for the public solely comes down to capital: if you have the capital to do this then you can get that market (and I would love to be part of your venture)
555  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: hypothetical, how would you turn 2000 bitcoins into cash? on: May 29, 2013, 12:17:02 AM
I would like to have the same "problem".

Im sure

I just want to know the best endpoints
556  Other / Archival / Re: btt on: May 26, 2013, 08:38:42 PM

how do you handle buying bfl preorders? if you were to. I dont understand how the exchange would work

Not following, is it no longer possible to pay with Bitcoins?

not that, its about how do you keep people accountable in pre-order resales

like do they give you their BFL login/password and change the shipping address? I don't really see how escrow would be helpful for all legs of the exchange etc. this is more so curiousity because I see alot of other ppl doing it
557  Other / Archival / Re: btt on: May 26, 2013, 08:10:07 PM
K, thanks. Americans please do not buy any virtual shares, it's bad...or may be at some point in the future.

Perfect.

For those that think this is inadequate there's always this mess:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=75802.2360

I'm not interested in following that path.

If that's settled, I'd like to stay on topic please. That being mining hardware.

haha okay guess thats settled then, lol. I just wanted to ask how you were dealing with it, and was surprised to see that you were ignoring it, thats all.

just curious, what are your plans for when the SEC gets an emergency injunction and seizes all your assets. you are an american issuing securities

maybe you should look into a reverse merger and list on the pink sheets, you have enough funds for that

you can't confirm that the people buying are americans but you should at least pretend that this isn't offered to americans

Hi stslimited. I'm not so arrogant as to think I can slow the tireless march of Fascism. I expend my energies attempting to control the things within my sphere of influence. To the rest...

Stercus Accidit

+1 creativex well said. Regarding jurisdiction isn't btct registered in Belize?

this has nothing to do with bitcoin or the location of a stock exchange, lol, read the securities act of 1933, holy shit you guys need legal counsel

BASIC-MINING is publicly listed as having an address in the united states and is offering for sell of securities

creativex needs to AT LEAST rationalize some exemption under the act, or feign ignorance to the fact that americans are the primary shareholders while simultaneously saying this is not offered to americans

look, the SEC is only concerned about wording. they won't bother americans that figure out how to buy shares as long as you say you aren't offering it to americans, IANAL and all of their agency actions are very subjective
559  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: hypothetical, how would you turn 2000 bitcoins into cash? on: May 26, 2013, 06:25:23 PM
Sorry that's not entirely clear to me.

By default it is 1,000$ per day and 10,000$ per month.
Without the apostille thing, just as a verified user, is it extendable? Up to?...

What is an apostille letter exactly, in this context?

How to change these limites? Write to their support?

$10,000 usd daily and $50,000 monthly

I got verified, I will be seeking trusted now
