People been dumping again.......

Who would have known. The entire day I have seen people predicting it must go over 300 dollars overnight now or, even worse, that we're moonbound again.
I mean really: what do you expect? That Bitcoin will suddenly take off out of nowhere in an everlasting bear market? I wonder how many people bought at these prices, as they will likely regret it later on.
Most of my stash was bought at upwards of 400 dollars.
I have no choice but to HODL.
I'd rather lose it all than admit failure.

Huh maybe Huh

Based on this chart bitcoin looks like it is historically cheap, only being on that same trendline in the very earliest trading back in 2010!

 Shocked

Reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2ui8x2/part_2_cryptsy_lock_my_account_for_no_reason_180/

10 days ago, I was not able to withdraw money. Amount - 180 BTC
All my tickets will ignore. Ticket number: # 175666, # 175392, # 174660.
Today I was locked chatting for no reason. I do not break the rules.

I started the process of verifying my account to withdraw funds and uploaded my internal passport Ukraine. My application was rejected due to lack of Latin characters.
I sent them my driver's license in the Latin alphabet, but they rejected my request and demanded a travel passport. I do not have a travel passport, in Ukraine it is difficult and expensive to obtain.
Also I have a problem with the military offices, now in Ukraine, the war and the government has banned the issuance of travel passports military service. Yes, and do not want to mess with the state.

I explained why I can not send your traveler's passport, but the ticket was closed, and the answer is no.

UPD
I am ready to send 10 BTC person who can solve the problem.

STOP SCAMMING. ALL UR MONEY BELONGS TO US NOW!
547  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-E Disputed Claims Support Group on: February 02, 2015, 04:52:20 PM
I sent an international wire to btc-e.  They credited it to my account, but they froze withdrawals for a month.  I emailed them and they responded "Hello, please attach SWIFT document" for the wire.  I called my bank and they don't know what btc-e is talking about.  They were like, there is no such thing as the "SWIFT document."

Plus, it's weird that btc-e responded to my question about frozen withdrawals by asking about the wire.  They already received it, as acknowledged by btc-e and verified by my bank.

So I sent btc-e a copy of the receipt from the wire, and I sent them the federal tracking number.

This is not a dispute yet.  Presumably I will be able to withdraw my funds, although I might have to wait.  I am posting because I would like feedback from others who have dealt with btc-e support.  The way that btc-e handles support tickets is strange.  Maybe it's just a poor command of English.  I opened a corporate account with them, had to contact support and similarly experienced a mystifying email exchange..  Their messages were so terse and cryptic, I had a hard time finding out what exactly they wanted.

If you don´t stop scamming we will freeze your account until the end of days.

I wired money to btc-e last Thursday.  They credited it to my account on Friday, but they froze withdrawals for a month.  When I emailed support about it, they wrote me back saying "Hello, please attach SWIFT document" for the wire.
My bank says there is no such thing.  What is btc-e actually asking for?

Hi,

this is fonzie from BTC-E team, please send us your SWIFT document and we will unfreeze your withdrawls, no problem. If you have any further questions feel free to ask them.

хороший день

LONDON — A Tel Aviv analyst working for a Singapore-based cyber intelligence company says he has uncovered concrete evidence that a terror cell, purporting to be related to Islamic State and operating in the Americas, is soliciting for Bitcoins as part of its fundraising efforts.

553  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. on: January 20, 2015, 02:33:31 AM
On the topic of blocksize, is anyone else noticing the back up of transactions that is occurring due to the combination of a slowing hash rate (so more frequent long blocks -- right now only 2 blocks one block in the past hour) and these blocks filling up? My fee-paying transaction didn't make it into the last block (which was 976 kB) after waiting 20 minutes, and I'm now waiting an hour or so -- still no confirm.

According to some experts from the mining forum the ETA for the total blockchain collapse is in <14d. Sad

Stop crashing Bitcoin, or even the last real world usage for Bitcoin beside child porn and terrorism will be gone!

http://uk.businessinsider.com/bitcoin-crash-drug-dealers-2015-1

“Out a couple of thousand over this,” writes one dealer. “Bad f---ing time to start up. I really hope it bounces back and stays there. I can’t believe how fast they’re dropping. $330 to 280 to 220 in just a few weeks. Bye bye profit.”

“I am losing losing 10-20% on all orders in escrow now!” says another. “Make that 30%!!! There goes all profit! FML.”

One deep web cocaine dealer spoke to Business Insider about the price crash. “It’s pretty damn sad,” they said. “We have worked so hard over the past 3 months, and for profits to get halved? It’s hard to swallow, simple as that, but what can you do. It’s a gamble, whether you hold or sell.”

They'd cashed out and had a massive payday during the bubble in November 2013, so they weren't immediately hurt by the dropping prices. But it’s still “hard work down the toilet.” And other, newer dealers don't have that luxury: they’ll be forced to sell reserves at a loss just to keep going (and potentially forcing the price down even more in the process).

"It´s a death spiral! If it it doesn´t end soon, we (the vendors) will have to switch to something more solid and reliable, like DOGE!"

Bitfinex flat on Bitcoinwisdom - is the API just down or has trading ground to a halt?

A. Hacked and robbed
B. Protection measures as the executed 50000BTC market sell order would have driven the price to 0$

C.(bitfinex/bitcoinwsidsom still working and updating for me)
