Will we get a brief pump attempt to 250 again to fool all the bitards, or will we just crash?

I suggest the latter one, altough it will probably start as a slow motion crash before it picks up speed.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hacking,hacked,lost everywhere?!!!! on: February 18, 2015, 05:20:57 PM
Hey guys Smiley

What is happening everywhere !

As 2015 started i see only hacked bitcoins thread !

There are some possibilities !

Wallets are not so secured!
Exchanges stealed money and saying that they are hacked !
Hackers got much knowledge to how to hack bitcoin addresses i mean they learnt much about private keys !

Tell me which is right statement ?👈

Also if hackers are clever enough then thts for them 🔫

The moment you are trying to do something with Bitcoin, beside hiding it in a paper wallet in a safe, you put yourself in danger to get robbed. After you have been robbed everyone in here will laugh at you, coz it´s your fault and not Bitcoins....  Smiley
263  Economy / Speculation / Re: Critical Levels - EW analysis on: February 18, 2015, 05:18:09 PM
hello chessnut, is your forecast still valid?

Seems the already small bullish wave is losing momentum.

Its on the edge but not yet invalidated.

ok seems toast now
I do not agree at all. We will go to $300 soon.

Would you mind posting your chart analysis that supports your emotionally strong opinion? Thanks!
264  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculation Troll Rant on: February 18, 2015, 05:15:59 PM
i am of the opinion that in an information society it is intellectually dishonest to yourself as well as financially irresponsible to ignore those with opposing viewpoints to whatever your opinions are ... it's the equivalent of jamming your fingers in your ears and yelling LALALALA anytime someone says anything that even slightly differs with your views ... to note I have not ever and will not ever ignore any user on this or any other forum ...

Generally, I (and most here) would probably agree with you.  But when we're talking about OBVIOUS Trolls...they go on ignore.  There's literally not enough time to sort through all their dribble to get to intellectually honest opinions, which can be Bullish or Bearish in nature as all markets have their cycles.  But anyone who comes on here for hours upon hours every day to tell you that Bitcoin is a waste of time, worthless and is crashing to zero....and they're telling you this on a Bitcoin Forum....yeah, those people go on ignore.  There's literally no rational discussion that can take place with them, after all, they're wasting all their time in a forum that they're telling you is a waste of time.  It is absolutely Shocking to me when people can't see the obvious agenda at work

Jaredboice put me on ignore as I provided a link to a website that transfers money across the world without using bitcoin, to point out that the price of this alternative service (and others like it) is quite cheap (and much lower than the banks).
He was so angry that I provided this data, he put me on ignore. The data suggested that the consumer value from using bitcoin was not as great as if compared to the cost of using traditional banking services.

His comment above should be judged in light of this.

Plese don´t quote those narrow minded Bitcoiner trolls, thx.
265  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the Recent Bitcoin Crash is Normal? on: February 18, 2015, 04:22:29 PM
Crash from 1200$ seems pretty normal to me if you consider it a tulip like bubble that has popped once and for all.  Embarrassed

Get your fiat cannons ready, gentlemen.

Now that virtex closed down, I got no where to fire the fiat cannons,  Cry

Move. It's too cold up there anyway.

or try www.QuadrigaCX.com

Canadian BTC/Gold/Fiat exchange (and it has been around longer than a year)

awww this is sad news CAVIRTEX was my #1 goto CAD/BTC exchange for years Sad

They will go down in history as the only bitcoin exchange that didn't run away or lose everyones bitcoin claiming hack.

How many bitcoin exchanges shut down without owing anyone any money? Only CAVIRTEX!

They haven't paid out everyone yet.

A lot of people are still waiting to be sent their BTC, LTC and fiat...

~~~
And I don't trust QuadrigaCX.
I tried two small, but non-dust, BTC deposits with them that never did show up and have heard absolutely nothing from them
after sending them email and support tickets several times.
 Sad
It seems like the government of the USA is slowly starting to hunt down illegal Bitcoiners:  Sad
http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-atm-shutdown-regulation-vermont/
"The agency has asserted that those involved with the machine were “knowingly engaging in a money service business” without a license, and as such, could face up to three years in prison. The $85,000 estimate includes a fine of $10,000 as well as $1,000 per day in administrative penalties."
You can always meet with Jimbo and sell your coins back and forth all day while laughing about how nobody and nothing can stop the Bitcoiner.  Smiley
Who is going to ban Bitcoin first, China(HongKong) or Canada?
According to some insiders this is just a protection measure due to the fact that Canada will ban Bitcoin completly in the next 4 weeks Embarrassed
Give me a break. What "insiders" have said this? How would CAVIRTEX have this information yet other companies don't?
We do have a terrible, autocratic government right now that rules by fiat (no pun), so I guess anything is possible. Plus CAVIRTEX did talk in front of Parliament, so perhaps a source they met there informed them.
Shit, now you have me worried.
But I thought Canada was democratic and nice and China was dictatorial and communist and evil Huh
The world is turning upside down
U got fooled by the lizards.
Be careful! OP is a well know bull scammer! He already lured innoncent people into the BTC trap months ago. He is probably just trying to sell his overpriced coins to you, like he did before.  Sad
279  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Complete list of recent BTC exchanges hacked/closed on: February 17, 2015, 10:15:05 PM
Mt Gox should be on the list. The police say it was an inside job, but Mark Karples says it was hacked. One way or the other it's definitely closed for good now. I'm surprised you missed it out considering it was the biggest exchange out there a year or two ago.
"recent"
otherwise this list would have 50+ names on it
280  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Complete list of recent BTC exchanges hacked/closed on: February 17, 2015, 10:07:32 PM
Chineses exchanges are getting "hacked" by their owners to take whatever is left before the FINAL CHINESE BAN gets declared.
