This is realy odd coin. People are mining and expecting to hit some market to sell at minimum price 1 satoshi per 1 dash. And from the other side dev of this coin "slb" are offering price 10 time lower than 1 to buy some coins. He wants to buy 2.000.000.000 dash for 1 btc. This is realy odd if someone expecting this coin to have future.

Are you saying dev investing in his coin is a bad thing? Market drives the price, not me. When there are people wanting to sell at this price - I am willing to buy. |

Dashcoin MUST get on another exchange. alt2bit has 0% traffic and keeping it on there only will kill dash
The exchange is not the issue, having it listed someplace it better than not having it listed anywhere, it's an open forum for people to trade. If the coin is not doing will, it's either the lack of promoting the coin or lack of interest by the community to trade said coin or just lack of time for the coin to mature. Complaining that it's on an exchange is idiotic. Some better use of your time is donate to the Dashcoin community projects https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=698268 to help promote the coin or possibly go mine another coin you want to pump and dump that's trading on another exchange, this might make you happy. Too much truth in that By the way alt2bit (via Grindal) are the 2nd biggest contributor to the crowd funding bank and the biggest 3rd party development effort so far. Currently the comminity bank is has only 18 millions DSH, most of them donated by 2 people and me. I have dashcoin for sale. I have about 100M at the moment, but I will have more soon. PM me with any offer you want to make. Partial trades are fine.
We could setup an OTC trading thread for this coin if people are interested. This is a good option if you want to sell with price below 1 satoshi. 33zer0w0lf is a trustworthy member of the community and a good option for an escrow. +1 it if you have interest. Current progress of Dashcoin: We still have no info on minergate's progress with the blockchain explorer. I plan to make a simple blockchain explorer next week if there is still none in existence. If you want to fasten the process you can contribute in the Dashcoin community projects thread, because 2.5 million DSH are not big enough reward for a 3rd party developer. |

Isn't it generally frowned upon to have a single pool control 51% of a coin, let alone 96% of the total hashrate? Or is that only with non-cryptonote coins?
No, can't perform attacks on cryptonote. No way of making double ring transactions.. Only ALT & BTC coins are in the downfall to that. Not cryptonote. This is not true. 51% attacks are possible on cryptonote. Luckily for us 33zer0w0lf has no value in performing such an attack, but please guys - diversify and join smaller pools |
