Do we yet have any verification on this hardware from senior/hero members or the folks maintaining our software?

I care about that more than pricing or a web store right now.

I was contacted by Bitmain and should be getting hardware soon all going to plan. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks! That is what we are looking for.
543  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: November 19, 2013, 07:24:41 AM

The sale is planned to start either late today or tomorrow.
I will buy the chips and assemble them as fast as i can, it will take a minimum! of 2 weeks.

Hi Burnin:

Personally, the only request I have is that you consider giving your ex-customers who placed orders for your mining board service priority when placing orders for the new boards, seeing that most of us have been burnt (which is NOT your fault) in one way or the other. This would at least help ease some of the pain

Thanks

Cheers

Anyone receive shipping notifications for the upgrade modules? They were supposed to ship today

Cheers

Your website says that the boards can be shipped and of november. Is that date still on?
there are 84 boards from current batch yes.

When I checked the site it only had "1/2 week of December shipment". So did the shipment get delayed or is this a new batch?

Would be interested to know when would an order placed today get shipped?

Cheers

Guys, due to the fact we underestimated the demand and oversold, we had to wait for the rest to be produced at the factory. Currently as you can see, they are being packed with all the auxiliary parts, then labelled.

As they sold out and were paid for in seconds, and there isn't any logical order of sale, we sat down and had a chat as how to best approach this, and to be fair to everybody that ordered within those 7 minutes, they are all being shipped at the same time on Monday.

This is rather disappointing as I would have thought that these would be shipped out based on the order number, considering that these were all paid with BTC (no wire transfer delays). It looks like I would be receiving the coolers before the modules

Hopefully the Monday shipments are on time

Cheers

If its any consolation to those that missed out, its not like these will make tons of btc. I suspect most will breakeven and make some spare change only.

As for the shipping charges, yes they worked out higher than what it cost to ship my Jupiter. Since these upgrade boards are not shipping with the heatsinks and cases, all the more reason that the shipping cost should be lower. Hopefully a refund can be made to correct this

O'rama, when do these ship??

They are expected to ship end of this week.

umm, Why not today?  For such a high shipping cost it would be nice if you got them out before the weekend.

Tomorrow would be nice too  Grin

With regards to the upgrades available later. Will these officially work with the 6 port Jupiters?

If yes, then I am assuming you will just need to open the case, plug the ribbon cables inside. Then slap on the right heat sink for the additional modules and leave these modules outside the case while connected to the main board

Cheers

Officially these are for Mercuries, and Saturns. Unifficially...

Thanks O'rama. Order placed using your Reseller link for what its worth (if you ever manage to get credit for that)

Cheers

But Pluto isn't a planet!

/trolling

And "Pluto" it is.. Lets see if this will hash with 6 modules.

Err.. so unofficially these should work? Would be neat to have a unit hashing at 864G . I would probably call it "Pluto"

I have two of these hashing right now. Nice boards, but prices are on the high side.

I would be interested if these were going for about 1.5BTC

Hey Steamboat, just checking in to request an update on assembly refunds. Unlikely you will respond soon, but just pointing out that no one has forgotten.

Now that you have things going again, please spare a thought for those of us who placed our trust with you for the assembly.

I would either like a refund or if possible I am also open to using the parts with 55nm chips if this is possible

Anyone that puts out at least 1 Gh/s can mine there and sell their output on cex.io.

Sorry for the slightly out of topic, but how does this work? You point your miners to ghash.io and sell your hashes on cex.io?

I thought ghash.io was just a pool for miners and for those who bought shares on cex.io ?

Will orders placed today still be included in the first batch of delivery?

Are the boards overclockable via software? Or is a physical change like changing a resistor required?
