541  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] Rollin.io Signature & Avatar Campaign on: May 15, 2017, 11:12:50 AM
These rates will come into effect after you receive your next payment, so it won't affect the rate you're being paid for your current term. The new rates are as follows:

Senior Member: 0.0375 BTC per month

Yup I knew this was coming Cheesy
I'm really satisfied because of that bolded sentence. So this means that my current active term which ends in 15 days, I'll be paid with the old rates of 0.05 + 0.01. That's $105 at BTC current price Cheesy

This is only my second month in this campaign (I got about $88 for the first month). This is incredibly satisfying.
New rates are fair as well ($78 at current price for Sr, and with avatar).

I'm happy sticking here Cheesy
542  Other / Meta / Re: What to do if you blocked the accounts of the whole office? on: May 13, 2017, 05:57:24 PM
Oh My God !
That's a huge amount of accounts. This guy literally spent a portion of his life on bitcointalk creating and managing those accounts.
That's seriously insane!

You could have done many better things than spamming the forum :/

That's an amazing catch mod ! Wondering how long it took you to gather all these.

I've seen people getting spotted with 2,3,4 accounts but that is fricking NEXT LEVEL !

He owned 192 accounts each with about 200 to 300 posts.

MATE GET A LIFE !
543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What's the effect of "Double Spend" to a transaction? on: May 12, 2017, 10:12:57 PM
As far as I know when a transaction is double spent, the first to be included in a block and start receiving confirmations is the going that is going to pass and the other one will be forgotten later on.

Any way, whoever sent you these coins is not trustworthy. He made this double-spent transaction to make you think you received the money. In fact he put lower fees on yours hoping that it won't get confirmed before his.

It doesn't necessarily mean that person is not trustworthy just because he used double spent - depends if the double spend was to the same address (1st and 2nd time). As in past and now when I send transaction with minimal fee and I wait like 2days or 1 day I usually double spend it with a higher fee to the same address so that I don't want eternity for my transaction to be confirmed.

What you're saying is a different case. " I wait like 2days or 1 day I usually double spend it with a higher fee to the same address"

While in the OP's case, it's not the same address to which the coins are sent. The double spending was to two addresses one, of them not controlled by the OP. In the case of low fees it makes sense to double spend.

Thank you for explaining the effect. It looks like I need to talk to that person and ask him why he made this double-spent transaction.

Your Tx has got confirmation. So, the "Double Spend!" does not matter to u.

The thing is, the same coin i/p of your Tx was used in some other Tx, which is not yet confirmed.
Yes. Now I'm seeing it has received three confirmations so far. I guess this transaction can now be called a successful transaction. ViaBTC's acceleration really works! I appreciate your explanation.

with bitcoin qt its simply possbile to send balance which is not completly confirmed. that means im received ethey BTCcoins from mercatrox which is an Exchange service for XRB/Mrai of the Riablocksproject.
while this transaction is not completly confirmed, im already able to send it and set it up at the blockchain for a futher transaction.
since two hours the first trans was cvonfirmed and the second one two ethey wit 10k sat byte was confirmed then very fast aswell.

What does sending unconfirmed balance that you received with double spending !!
Absolutely nothing. If what is true and you received BTC from an exchange and then made the transaction yourself, inputs shouldn't be the same then.

EDIT:
Even if that exchange is managed by you as well, inputs won't be the same for 2 transactions with time interval between them except if inteded.

545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 6X RX 470 win 7 rig on: May 11, 2017, 04:06:00 PM
HI ALL

I have 6 x msi rx470 8g gaming x setup in a H81 pro BTC board and I cannot get the sixth card to run. I have tried everything. Is it still the case that 6 rx 470 cards will not run on windows 7?

Try smOS. You can find its ANN thread over here.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1541084

Please next time when you want to ask for info it'd better to open a new thread rather than bumping a five month extinct one Huh

Windows 10 works out-of-the-box with 6x GPU everytime for me with 400-series cards

You might be thinking the 500-series. I definitely had a lot of trouble with it, but finally got 6x 570's working.

Did you find the solution to making 6 of them work together by yourself or what? If yes, it'd be appreciated to create a thread and say how you did it.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU Rig PORN on: May 11, 2017, 04:01:25 PM
Eleven Sapphire RX 580's and two EVGA 1300W PSU's all mounted on one of our frames.   Cool

It looks great. But there are two things:

1- They are tight. REALLY TIGHT ! What is the temp reading on these cards? Are they fine because I guess they are not.

2- I heard that getting more than 4 rx 5xx cards running is still an issue? How did you get it solved? Because apparently a lot of ppl need to know.

548  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.50 BTC loan for Exscudo investment on: May 11, 2017, 02:19:34 PM
Sorry mate but that doesn't qualify as a valid collateral. Making sure that the code is real isn't possible and you have the ability to redeem it at any time without him knowing.

Check the following to know what's valid as a collateral.
If you don't have any, lock this thread and return back when you do have one.

What is considered collateral?

Collateral is something that can easily be resold to cover the loan value plus interest should the loaner default on the loan.

- The best collateral is another crypto-currency, such as Litecoin (also written as LTC).  Coins must be moderately traded on multiple exchanges.
- Some digital wares such as domain names can be considered as long as the user cannot recover it.
- Small valuable items that can be shipped though the mail - i.e. gold, silver, iphones, etc.
- Large items, such as a motorcycle or guitar can be used if you live close to the person giving you the loan.  Try localbitcoins.com

What is not considered collateral?

- Items they want to sell.  They don't want it back, so they will default.  It's scammy unethical behavior and will lead to negative trust.  Check their recent posts!
- Items not in hand.  Don't trust a user that promises to give you something *when* they default!  Tracking numbers only show something has been mailed - it could be an empty box.
- Future income.  You can prove you'll make xx coins in the next few days, but nothing forces you to send those coins to pay your debt.
- Identification.  So what if they can prove who they are.  Are you going to spend more money and time taking them to court on untested legal grounds?  You'll probably just walk away, like everyone does.  ID is useless.
CHECK THIS OUT >>>- Games codes or similar.  To verify the collateral you need to use the code, which destroys the collateral.  Consider this a purchase, not a loan.  (Post in Digital Goods instead)
- Most new alt-coins or alt-coins that trade for satoshis are not good collateral as they can become worthless overnight.
- Paypal should never be used - they are anti-bitcoin and will rule against you 100% of the time.  Escrow can't even help, as paypal charge backs can come over 6 months later!
- Most valuable online accounts can easily be recovered by social engineering (the user contacting support to say they were hacked, and regain control of the account)  Examples:  Steam

- Use only "Hero Members" or "Legendary Members" for escrow - they have a vested interest in the community with the time they have spent here.

Hopefully I'm qualified.

Campaign is full. ajaxmoor was accepted and slotted in.

Hi Guitarplinker.

A Request - Could you consider updating the campaign spreadsheet on a weekly basis? This is one of the big advantages of the campaign (apart from the great rates and awesome campaign manager Smiley ). If the spreadsheet is updated more frequently, it would help the campaign participants.

I pm'ed him before about this and he said that he updates the spreadsheet every 7-10 days which is quite good since it's a monthly campaign there's no reason for making it more frequent than this.

What I really want him to add is the current number of posts at the moment of updating the spreadsheet. Maybe starting from the next round ?

I want to join your avater

#1 Campaign is FULL is it's visible in the title.
#2 This campaign is for people starting from full member position, so you don't qualify for it even if there was an empty spot.
550  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan Bitcoin on: May 10, 2017, 08:55:33 AM
Just don't try.
Those sh*t coins aren't worth anything.
Did you really come as a newbie ! to the bitcointalk forums and told everyone who replied to you that they no nothing and you are the almighty knowledgable person on earth ?

I swear to god I can't stop laughing because of this picture.

LOL $23k . Yeah right.

Listen kid,
There are 2 scenarios at the moment.

1- You got stuck in this coin and don't know what to do so you're trying to change it to anything providing so called "proof" that it's real.

2- You got played and you really invested money in that coin thinking that it's real (which is worse).

551  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin To Soon Reach $1700 on: May 10, 2017, 08:46:47 AM
That prediction was on the spot !
It's standing at $1734 atm.

Which makes me really sad as I sold at $1650 thinking that it was the end of the so-called bubble.
For the first time I wish I followed what everyone was saying.
552  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Stocks, Commodities, CFD using bitcoins on: May 08, 2017, 07:35:23 PM
Straight to the point. Is there any legit site that uses bitcoins for trading stocks, forex and commodities? I have been studying trading and would like to consider trading these together with cryptocurrencies. But I am having a hard time finding a good site that offers these services.

Simplefx and 1Broker  Smiley

I haven't come across any forex site that works with crypto (actually I don't pay attention to them much) But I advise you not to go to any site and deposit money without looking for reviews and stuff to see if they're trustworthy.
553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What exchange to join? on: May 08, 2017, 07:33:41 PM
If you're talking about trading altcoins, then you should go for poloniex or bittrex.

They are the best & the biggest.
Actually I prefer poloniex more, Idk why I just like it more.

IF you want to buy some coins using fiat then get to localbitcoins or look for a local person here on the forum services section.
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy 44 Altcoins on exchanges tomorrow for a total of 4000$ on: May 08, 2017, 07:29:12 PM
I suggest just focusing on 5-10 coins which YOU think have some potential in them.

Maintaining and following the price changes of 44 coins is extremely difficult + you might losing your investment in a lot of them (especially since there's a lot of pump and dump and other idiotic coins).

You need to download and install and download the blockchain of all those 40 as well.

For me that's just too much work.
555  Economy / Services / Re: paypal cashout/withdrawal services on: May 08, 2017, 07:26:02 PM
Start using this service, waiting for payment Smiley
Thank you to flooren for withdraw!

Lol I have no problem with whatever service you are trying to sell but using a newbie account to try to promote your service is useless. Especially if it's with broken English as well as yours and has no proof of anything.

i working with paypal more 9 years and know all

Weren't you able to learn any bit of English through these 9 "NINE" years?

Good Luck Cheesy
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ASK] Why do people buy altcoin? on: May 08, 2017, 07:00:03 PM
People usually invest in altcoins which they think have potential in the future so that they can make some pretty good earnings from it.

I guess there are some (but they're not that many really)who invest in a specific coin cuz they believe in it and want it to have a future bla bla bla.

But almost everyone is in for the money.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A question on: May 08, 2017, 02:17:12 PM
Well the question "why" is considered weird in the crypto world Cheesy

Tell my why are all the alts rising like crazy rockets in very short spans ?
This also goes for btc. Why is it rising?

Well if you're talking about Doge itself, I still don't have an answer. It kinda always has a stable price and even devs no longer care about it (it was for fun Cheesy )
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of many reasons why I love bitcoin on: May 08, 2017, 02:12:54 PM
Well the picture of that transaction for some reason put a big smile on my face.

but I then got sad wishing that I knew Bitcoin back then. And of course the crazy thoughts of holding just a $1000 at that time and waiting on them.

I know that it was scary doing such thing at that time, but I really wanna see if any of the early investors (2009) became millionaires out of it.Huh
559  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trading bots are they okay? on: May 08, 2017, 01:47:42 PM
If you're using it and you're "actually" earning off it then it's the worst idea to share it and then ask questions about it.

Unless you want others to sacrifice their money in order to test it for you?
(or it's rigged into stealing coins).

I just don't get what this thread is supposed to mean.
560  Economy / Speculation / Re: everyone is so helpful today! on: May 07, 2017, 09:15:42 PM
I guess with the amount of time you spent in the crypto world you should've understood that no one can "certainly" tell you what's gonna happen next.

That's just impossible.
People gather around and everyone says his OWN opinion and in the end it's your responsibility to sell/keep/convert whatever you have.

Come on, it's a Discussion board in the end. If you truly believe in btc then you should hold as much as you can.
If you're into trading and stuff, then you gotta do what you wanna do.
