581  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [H] Paypal $17.93 [N] BTC @ 10% on: April 23, 2017, 06:21:07 PM
Isn't paypal reversible ??!!

I guess not a lot of people would be down to this offer as bitcoins are one way only while you can open a case in PP upto 6 months (as far as I remember ).

Try localbitcoins.com. See if you can find anyone in your area or something.
582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why doesn't North Korea open up a bitcoin exchange? on: April 20, 2017, 11:37:11 PM
OK this might seem nice and shiny in our eyes "now" but ... This won't happen and would better not happen.

If bitcoins are implemented in N.Korea this would just mean the whole world starting to ban it.
That's the first point in short.

The thing is bitcoins means freedom in currency right ? That's not the way how that country works.
The government has control over each and every thing (although it might seem to us that they're enslaved or whatever but this system is working out great for them what so ever if compared to the "free" 3rd world countries.

PS: Most of what we know is from the media which is ... meh ..
583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: Dwarfpool eth share problem on: April 18, 2017, 04:59:40 PM
Look like there is a problem with the pool. This has been reported on reddit as well.

Hopefully they have something to say about it.

584  Economy / Services / Re: travel and tour on: April 17, 2017, 02:39:41 PM
What ??

What are you trying to do over here ? It's totally unclear.
I can't see what you are trying to buy or sell.

Clarify please.
585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When LTC Segwit will trigger? on: April 16, 2017, 02:05:18 PM

According to https://bitinfocharts.com/litecoin/ there were 568 blocks mined in the past 24hours.

So, in theory if ALL pool support segwit (which is impossible) it'd take 11 days.

But it depends on the no. of pools applying segwit through.
586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Recommendation for Good mining video Card on: April 16, 2017, 02:00:47 PM
AMDs are by far the best according to the 4 day research that I've conducted. I'm really considering getting into mining altcoins.

I haven't decided what coin I'll go for.
But what I'm certain about is that I'll buy either a Sapphire Rx 470 Nitro+ 8gb
Or Rx 480 (sapphire as well)

These two are by far the best in regards of hashing power (470 go all the way upto 24 MH/s in ethereum ).
I'm also putting the electricity efficiency in my mind and it's pointing to these.

Did you find any other better ones ? IF yes bring them on to the table to discuss.
587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What attract you to make deposit in a casino ? on: April 16, 2017, 06:54:33 AM
Design is about 7 for me. I just like a place that looks good.
Games is all the way upto 10. It's the main reasons we come around.
Promotions are at about 8.
Live support is 5. I almost never needed support from casinos (as long as they are not scammers and they sent my withdrawal to me Cheesy )
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: April 16, 2017, 06:47:50 AM
One thing I learned about cryptocurrency (I think I did ) is that speculation is mostly a myth.

You can't really know what's gonna happen next.
I think other alt coins have chances of existing but only side by side with bitcoins.
The idea of totally replacing the father of all coins is a bit  inapplicable.
589  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are signature campaigns really working for gambling sites? on: April 15, 2017, 11:18:41 PM
Well, when a new gambling site comes to life it wants customers aka gamblers.

Since they are powered by bitcoins, what another place would it be other than the biggest and most well known forum about bitcoins which is literally over-flooded with bitcoiners many of which are gamblers too.

Someone doesn't just start a business and expect ppl to come to it without spreading the word about it.
590  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you smoke weed? on: April 15, 2017, 02:40:07 PM
Nope.
It's illegal over here.

Try adding a poll to the thread and let's get some numbers LOL Cheesy
591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which is the best site for dogecoin on: April 15, 2017, 12:35:40 PM
Hi friends could you please suggest me on below queries.

1) which is the best website for doge coin trading..?
2)which is the best website for doge coin cloud mining..?

1- What do you mean by dogecoin trading ? Exchanging other crypto to and from it or USD ?
2- I don't really suggest cloud mining as from my experience it was just a loss of money and I didn't get any profits from it.

Overall , Dogecoin is one of the altcoins that don't seem to be going places any time soon.
Get into other coins maybe zcash, ether or something.

592  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.012 BTC LOAN, GET 0.015 IN 2 WEEKS on: April 15, 2017, 12:24:07 PM
I guess some people would agree to lend you the money if you had appropriate amount.

With 5000 concoins you can roughly get 0.00885000 BTC (without calculating the lender's % ).

So, atm you aren't eligible for this loan.

EDIT :

Yes. 7843 is equal to 0.01388211 BTC. This is better now.

Make sure you edit the topic.
593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 60,000 Unconfirmed transaction and counting on: April 15, 2017, 12:19:36 PM
I don't believe it's any kind of attack. It didn't last a few hours if it even was.
Right now it's just 11k unconfirmed which is supposedly normal.

We need to realize that more and more numbers could exist. Don't we all hope that bitcoin becomes a worldwide currency?

Therefore, SegWit.
594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Been 16 hours and unconfirmed on: April 15, 2017, 11:55:36 AM
How do you consider 0.0002 decent fees on a 0.093 BTC transaction ??

Fee per byte    88.889 sat/B

While the cheapest transaction fee is currently 140 satoshis/byte. (according to https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ )

Besides the fact that the blockchain was congested more that it usually is.
Simple. You pay less you wait more.
595  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Lost 12 word Wallet Recovery Phrase on: April 15, 2017, 11:41:31 AM
If you didn't forget your password then why do you need the recovery phase ? You can just get it again from inside (I guess?).

If blockchain.info isn't helpful for you try switching to another wallet. Maybe try an offline one.
596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Paid low fee by accident, how to proceed? on: April 15, 2017, 11:39:56 AM
Transaction got rebroadcasted. You are good to go .

It's good 29 confirmations already. Take care next time of the fees. Smiley
597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Unconfirmed transaction since more than 2d on: April 15, 2017, 11:32:43 AM

Sorry, I have to ask.

How do you get the raw data for your transactions?

There's an easy way just add "?format=hex" at the end of the tx link from blockchain.info

So here is the link of the transaction:

https://blockchain.info/tx/c47ca7a5203422e25477e098f4f16e6003dcbdf1fbc1b4615b5f1d4ab76f2241

And to get the RAW data you add ?format=hex at the end like this:

https://blockchain.info/tx/c47ca7a5203422e25477e098f4f16e6003dcbdf1fbc1b4615b5f1d4ab76f2241?format=hex

Hope this helped Wink
598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you stop someone forcing you to hand over your private key and taking all on: April 15, 2017, 11:23:32 AM
What do you mean by "forcing" you to give them your private keys Huh

Is it like a gun pointed to your head situation ?
Normally ppl keep most of their coins (I hope) in a cold wallet away which isn't touched and isn't easily reachable and small amounts in your regular hot wallet.

When I just think about it it'd just be the same thing in case of cash.

OH and NEVER keep money in an exchange as they are commonly known for running away with the customer's coins.
599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons of why bitcoin accepting shopping sites are not famous on: April 15, 2017, 11:18:43 AM
The reason why a lot of shops on the internet aren't implementing bitcoins is mainly because it's price isn't stable and fiat $$ is what works in this world.

Some companies actually started solving this such as Bitpay which takes the bitcoins and sends cash to the companies. That's good.

Another reason for them not to accept btc directly is because it will need a team/staff to learn how to deal with it and how it works it might be simple in your eyes but it really isn't as in business you don't spend on something except it gets much more than what you spent.

I think companies will start implementing it one by one once they realize that it has a great buying potential.
600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Number of Bitcoin users. on: April 15, 2017, 11:13:27 AM
Well although I don't really get the point of trying to find the total number of bitcoins holders/users , I have something to say.

YOU CAN'T.
You simply can't. Why ? Well, for a lot of reasons.

1- Nearly each and every person has more than one address and since there is no limit on addresses you can have it's UNLIMITED. and I'm just talking about normal individuals.

2- BOTS. Casinos and many other companies have a lot of codes/bots which generate addresses for one-time purchases/deposits. So that's just thousands and thousands of addresses generated. How are you going to determine which is whose ? Exactly...

3- I really can't think of number 3 Cheesy

I think this pretty much explains it.
