541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the Worst ICO You've Ever Seen? on: October 06, 2017, 10:59:28 PM
Worst ICO ive ever seen.  Can't find one but i think the worst ICOs are those tokens that are already hit an exchange but the project doesn't go boom then back again to ICO price.. I doubt that projects. They sell those in an ICO price but it already landed an exchange. I don't think people will buy that. Also I've seen many SCAMS ICOs. They are worst of the worst. They are just collecting people's money and did nothing. They run away and never go back. Some ICOs these days are just popping out of nowhere. Some are just created to collect money from investors. But when you take a look at the project, some of them has a worst idea on their tokens. Like VGINA, insanecoin, woodcoin or antibitcoin, i mean, what's wrong with them?
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: QUESTION ABOUT COINS on: October 06, 2017, 10:34:57 PM
Actually you can. But i don't think it will click when it hits the market. It will just a like a chip at casinos.
Fixed value. What's the use of that? You are trying to create a cryptocurrency, right? So obviously your casino must be online casino. Most popular casinos these days used popular coins in the market. Bitcoin, litecoin, xmr or Ethereum. But some online casino now created their own token like Moneypot and Bitdice. It will be available on market soon. They are going to sell it on exchanges. Many people will buy and many poeple will also dump. The price will also go up and down. That's how it works. If you are going to create a fixed value token. Market will not accept it because the supply amd demand will determine what will be the price.

Sure you can create one. But i think it will be ideal for your site only and not in the market because i don't think market will accept it.
543  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-6]China Will Likely Resume Cryptocurrency Trading on: October 06, 2017, 10:14:31 PM
As usual. China is just playing games with us. They are gonna regulate all exchnages there. They should have done that earlier. I don't believe their dramas. I dont believe they are going to ban cryptocurrency there permanently as Japan surpassed them as the biggest cryptomarket. China dont wanna left behind whe their neighbor countries are taking a huge part for bitcoin progress. They are just trying to manipulate it's price to get some bitcoin. Japan just issued licence for their local exchanges. They didn't even interrupt the exchanges operations there. They act so fast.
544  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcointalk Account Potential Activity Counter script help on: October 06, 2017, 12:54:01 PM
That idea is already taken. There's available bitcointalk pricer which you can check the rank, posts quality check, potential activity and it's estimated price. https://www.bctalkaccountpricer.info
There's also another feature. The SMAS black list. The site will check if you are at list of banned from signature managers which are complied at SMAS. If you are determined to do your bitcointalk account estimator. Here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1142314.0
They provide an algorithm for transparency basis. Good luck anyway.
545  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bot advice on: October 06, 2017, 05:44:42 AM
Im not recommending trading bots. If trading bots can give you huge and consitent profits, i should be a millionaire by now. Also you have to pay them ridiculous fees. Bots are not always accurate. So becareful on using them. Anything can happen like mechanical failure. So  Instead of earning. You only get nothing. That's why trading with yourself is recommended. Besides, there are many trading tools in the internet that can help you with your trading. You can read latest news from different cryptocurrency related site. It's not that hard to do than paying for bots that the chance of profitability is uncertain. Don't just listen to others were saying. You have to careful and be wise because you'll regret it in the end.
546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still use Bitcoin if it stabilised at around USD$5000? on: October 06, 2017, 05:26:52 AM
Bitcoin is a good form of investment. And investment means to get or to make profit from it. If bitcoin will be stable at $5000 and it will not go up or down. It's not an investment anymore for me because it's profitble at all. But if all merchants will accept bitcoin as mode of payment. Then i will keep my bitcoin because i can buy anything with bitcoin. Bitcoin will be useful as an alternative way to pay like credit and debit card. Also a good too for transferring funds. Also you said the price will not be moved. Then it means you are safe from devaluation of currency. Means bitcoin will not lose it's value.

Bitcoin can still be useful even the price is stable. People can still take advantage of it. Anyway, that's imposible to happen because even on traditional currency the price is moving. But that's interesting scenario. Just won't happen in real life
547  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin could be heading to $6,000 by year-end on: October 05, 2017, 07:51:40 AM
CNN News says "Bitcoin could be heading to $6,000 by year-end"
I am imagining what would have been the state had we not got stuck in multiple FUDs this year.

We need FUDS honestly so we can take advantage of those dips. It's way more better than continous trend to test whether how strong the support is at any given price range level.

Didn't see that sayings by CNN but on the bright note, it was possible and has chances. If we have to based for the recent action last August 1st event, the same thing is expected to happened on November event . Speculations says that there will be a large pump after all was being corrected properly after that. We just have to wait and see.

That's absolutely true. We need FUDs so we can take advantage on the dip. If bitcoin just continue to gain value. People can't afford bitcoin in the future. The recent dip i think it's fair because bitcoin is continues pumping from the past few months. FUDs are just a part of the game. Manipulators are trying to fool people and giving them reasons to sell their bitcoins that could cause bitcoin to crash. Now manipulators will take advantage of that to get handful of bitcoins.

I think we have seen enough FUDs. We are going to moon before the year ends. $6000 bitcoin price still achievable. We should be at that price if FUDs is not created by the manipulators. Even if they spread FUDs again, i don't think many people will buy their FUDs. I think people are aware enough for not believe on their bullshits. Im having a feeling that bitcoin will go up again. China is now allows exchnages there to operate.  I have not feel the effects yet.
548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The head of Mexico commented on bitcoin on: October 05, 2017, 07:23:35 AM
I hope this is a good news for BTC,as far I hold BTC user security is very safe.I see from a long way about the development of wanting to enact financial laws in mexico, hopefully that will be good news for BTC.Mexico users should explain to the head of finance there is security in crypto world it is very safe,I hope that mexico can legalize BTC.
There any site that explain about this, can you provide a link site?
I think it's a just a fair statement that came from that guy. He is just telling the truth. He is just giving a warning to those who use this technology. It's true that there's a threat to cybersecurity. So we have to be aware of that. Bitcoin is not fully supported by government. So, when something happens, we can't count on them because it's not really supported by the government. He stated that cryptocurrency there will be regulate soon. Well, i think that's better. If they are not gonna regulate it. That means we are gonna have the support of government. It's better this way than bitcoin is ending up being banned by the government.
549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is gaining momentum in Africa on: October 05, 2017, 07:06:27 AM
Guess Africa don't wanna be left behind. Many big countries adopted this technology. If African countries are going to adopt this technology. Why not? I heard bitcoin in Nigeria is very popular. Then i searched google about this. Over 100,000 merchants are now accepting bitcoin as mode of payment. They are really relying on bitcoin since it's the fastest and yet affordable way for sending money. http://www.oyibosonline.com/over-100000-merchants-in-nigeria-now-accept-bitcoin-payments/
Also it can change their lives because bitcoin is not just a tool for money transferring but also a good form of investment. Most African countries are suffering because of poverty. Maybe it can be a way to make their lives comfortable.
550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: do the government will take action to put TAX for all Crypto Currency Exchanges? on: October 05, 2017, 06:47:02 AM
I don't think that's possible because they cannot even trace you and the transactions you've made. They have to list all people who use bitcoins and their wallets. This will give them hard time finding these poeple who use bitcoin. And that's why bitcoin is very hard to legalize to other countries. People may slipped out with their taxes. That's favorable for us because we can easily get away or evade taxes that government might charged us. But if you are a decent person and you think this is wrong. Then you can report your income statements to IRS. So you are clean.
551  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happen to banks? on: October 04, 2017, 10:18:02 PM
I don't the fees is the main source of income of banks. Banks is the place where the investors and borrowers go. People will deposit money to invest to them and the bank will find a way to make it grow. They will offer loans to borrowers. Also they offers insurance and other service. That's the way banks gets profits. The fees of course is one of their source of income. But it's not their main source of income. So if they use blockchain. I think it's not a big deal. They can get profit from the people's investments. Actually bank now adopts it. They merged to XRP(ripple). But not sure if it will be successful because most of people prefer decentralised system.
552  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-04] Large Japanese Energy Supplier Adds Bitcoin Payments With a Discoun on: October 04, 2017, 10:03:17 PM
No doubt why Japan is now conquering the bitcoin. They adoption of bitcoin there is massive. There's now wonder why Japan now is the most influential in the bitcoin market. I think it surpassed China. China don't have the power over bitcoin. They cannot easily manipulate bitcoin now. Japan i think is the most bitcoin friendly, in my opinion. Anyway, in my country (Philippines). I can pay my electricity bill with bitcoin. My local wallet which is coins.ph allows you to pay your electricity bill with your bitcoin. But you cannot pay electric company with bitcoin directly. It's good to know that Japan did the same thing. Good job Japan.
553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would you know what is a SCAM ICO? on: October 03, 2017, 03:08:32 AM
Hi, I would like to ask. How would i know if an ICO campaign is legit or a scam for us to avoid this kind of campaign?
Check it's whitepaper. If they don't present their whitepaper. Then consider that as a scam. If they have a whitepaper read that very carefully because some of scam ICOs these days are just copy-paste from other project. But the most effective way to determine if an ICO is a scam is to check dev team. Some dev teams scammed a lot of their investors before. So if you saw them in a project. Simply avoid the project to avoid loss because obviously they are going to scam again. Also check the road map of the project. Scam ICOs also not providing any roadmaps or plan on their project.
554  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why positive trust is important? on: October 02, 2017, 09:15:21 PM
Positive trust is important because this is an indicator that you can be trust by other members because you are a trusted member. You must contribute in this forum in able for you to award a green trust. You need to do a lot of successful trades or escrowed deals. And by that, members can give you a positive feedbacks. But some are just abusing the system. Some of the are bribing other members to make a positive feedback. Which proves that trust system can be cheat also. Just contribute for the community by helping members here. Don't force them to put a positive feedback on you. Let them decide whether they want or not.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jamie Foxx tweets promoting crypto exchange ICO on: October 02, 2017, 09:04:18 PM
It is effective way of promoting their ICOs. They are using celebrities which of course has a lot of followers and fans who are keep in touch whatever the celebrity do. This the way to attract people fast because it's not just a hundred but millions of people are watching them. In fact, Mayweather is promoting the an ICO which i think a successful one. The ICO is successful on it's crowdfunding which i think reach millions of dollarshttps://www.google.com.ph/amp/s/amp.reddit.com/r/ethtrader/comments/6r6kyu/stox_ico_hit_1135k_ethereum25_million/. So i think hiring a personalities to promote an ICO is effective
556  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A day in the life of a Bitcoin Trader on: October 02, 2017, 08:35:09 PM
Trader is a person who buy and sell goods, stock or even currencies. And by the way you are doing i think it's more like a hoarder than a trader. But you're still a trader though because you buy bitcoin and wait for it to accumulate much value than the value when you buy it. But other traders not just relying on bitcoin. They buy other altcoins to maximize their income in a fast way. Coinbase is a good one. But you need a little more exploration. Coinbase doesn't list all good coins in the market. You have to find them at other market or exchange to buy and sell them at higher price and able to get some profits.
557  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which knowledge is important for crypto trading? on: October 02, 2017, 08:21:46 PM
The knowledge of controling emotions. Some newbies can't control their selves from greed. And because of greed they lose a lot of money. It is important that you must be in control even the situation is unfavourable to you. Learn to control emotions.  Also some traders are just buying altcoins based on people's opinions which is bad because they might wrong. Learn how to analyze things first. What's the reason why you buy that particular coin? Make a research and don't just believe what others were saying here because they're might be people who shill their coin. Most of them are just pump and dump coins. Do your study first before jumping in.
558  Economy / Economics / Re: Jamie Dimon Calls Bitcoin A 'Fraud' on: October 02, 2017, 02:40:34 PM
Now, he is going to eat what he said before. Calling bitcoin a fraud and they're caught buying while the bitcoin is at the dip. He is worst than fraud. I know at first that this is all drama. It's just a game to get some cheap bitcoins. But we must admit they can still influence other people. Look at the huge drop after Jamie Dimon and China crackdown against bitcoin. Investors were shrugged off. I can't blame them why they have to do such things. They are threatened their business because of bitcoin. But they can't stop bitcoin.
559  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC? on: October 02, 2017, 02:21:54 PM
Bitcoin only relies on technology. Without the recommended devices and equipments, you are not be able to use or spend it. Internet, device and electricity. These are the things you need to have to use bitcoin. So without technology stuffs, it's worthless. It's not like cash which you can spend without any tech stuffs. It's not ideal for everyday usage because you have to pay for fees for every transactions you've made. The speed of the transaction depends on the fee you enter. The expensive, the faster. One more thing, there only few shops or establishments which are accepting bitcoin. Most of them are online and has only limited product offered. You have to convert it to cash to buy everything.
560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoins one day replace other forms of money? on: October 02, 2017, 01:57:08 PM
Maybe. Cashless world would be cool. But there are disadvantages of cashless society. If cash reaplce by Bitcoin. I don't think Bitcoin is developed enough for replacing cash. Bitcoin only relying on technology like internet and devices in able to use or spend bitcoin. Unlike traditional money like cash. You can buy everything you want with cash. It's also the fastest way to pay. Bitcoin is fast, but that depends on the fee you put at the transaction. The faster, the more expensive. Cash also don't rely on technology like internet or any tech stuffs. But who knows what will happen in the future? Let's wait and see.
