San Antonio Spurs vs Golden State Warriors WCF.

Patty Mills vs Steph Curry; I don't see Kawhi Leonard vs Steph Curry here. We all know that this is really a mismatch just by looking at the stats. But we can't just an assume that this guy will just go on easy. For Mills, he have to give his 100% defense to that Curry's high percentage of rainbow shooting. Curry, even contested or not, can bucket a 3's with his signature shooting stunt. He can easily drop it infront of Mills. Let's see how Mills will react to this while having an advice from Pop.

Danny Green vs Klay Thompson; This is somehow an equal matchup if we reset their stats and only includes team role. They are both deadly at 3's although Klay was most noticeable (we will disregard this factor for the moment). If both these guys become hot, their hands really will do those succesful shot. Although for GSW, with Durant on the floor, Klay's field goals attempts at any area in the court are minimized. Let's see what will be the scenario here.

Kawhi Leonard vs Kevin Durant; Kevin Durant obviously is the most athletic of this two but the idea of their performance is just the same. I don't see Leonard can defend Durant all the time that's why they must cover this hole. On the other hand, GSW must contain Leonard as this is one of the deadliest shooter in NBA today as we seen in his recent performance.

My own thoughts. Few hours from now and Game 1 will begin.

Well the spurs dominated the warriors until mid end of 3rd quarter but damn it gives me a heartache on that leonard injury. It completely changed the pace of the spurs. If only not for pachulia stepping on leonard landing. Warriors would've lost that game and they'd be 8-1 on the playoffs. This clearly is the reason why the spurs is still dominant in the west even though warriors got 4 superstars in their team. For me that is not a win that you can brag. Totally ridiculous.
Let's give game 1 to the warriors, that was really unfortunate of Kawhi, I hope his condition is not serious enough and he could still play in game 2.
People are really expecting that the warriors will dominate here but it was a different outcome, the Spurs is not playing a slow pace games anymore, they were able to match the warriors and they dominated int he inside, i hope Leonard will be back in game 2 so he can help Aldridge steal 1 game on the road.

It's a shocker for me. Warriors came back from 25 to take Game 1 from Spurs, winning 113-111. Also my thoughts on the Leonard injury. He was really player amazing up until that unfateful injury. I hope that injury is not that serious so that he can play in game 2. Because without him, I think GSW is a sure to go to the NBA finals once again.

The thing is many people and experts and other NBA player said that Kawhi Leonard's injury is intentional. I mean is we can see from the angle that ZaZa extend his feet to Khawi landing place, leading to spurs momentum to shatter and loss in the end. Well its not that its just a game ang injury is common, but dirty plays is anotger story. Khawi is a really humble player and despite that injury he has faith in his teammates that they will win the conference finals. I hope that Kawhi can play in Game 3 and destroy the overrated team ( GS ) in the series.

IMHO. Zaza made an intentional foul play even though he is not facing on kawhi that time, By the slow motion replay, He intentionally extend his leg on the landing area of kawhi foot even though it is not necessary for him to extend just to run and go for the rebound. I think he is aware on what will gonna happened after he extend his legs that's why he quickly run right after kawhi foots land on his foot. Kawhi will be out for two game or more because his injury is serious.  Pachulia is the real MVP for that game. LMAO.

That's exactly what I'm trying to say. Well even some people who watched it live really frustrated on what happened there because it was really intentional. Not mentioning Zaza record on other player.

"Ask David West, his current teammate, how things went when Zaza was playing for Dallas, and he and David got into it. And then think about the history [Zaza has] had, and what that means to a team...what happened last night. A totally unnnatural closeout that the league has outlawed, years ago, and pays great attention to. And Kawhi's not there. And you want to know how we feel about it? You want to know if that lessens our chances or not? We're playing very possibly the best team in the league—you know, we don't know what's going to happen in the East. And 9.75 people out of 10 will figure the Warriors will beat the Spurs. You know, we've had a pretty damn good season, we've played fairly well in the Playoffs. I think we're getting better. We were up 23 points in the third quarter, against Golden State, and Kawhi goes down. Like that. And you want to know if our chances are less, and you want to know how we feel? That's how we feel."

Coach Pop addresses the media.
542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When to leave the game? on: May 20, 2017, 08:01:08 AM
You have a goals. You have a at least a single reason on gambling. When you achieve(10k$) you will quit.Just matter of time
The question is will you be able to reach that goal? Will you be able to achieved 10k$. The gambling world is not as easy as we think it is. Everybody wants to win, everybody wants to get the prize. Some can't even reach 1k$ ( unless they are rich ). My friend is a gambler before he joined this community. He has the same vision that if he reach that specific goal he will quit, but he ended up losing a lot of money in the end.

The only logical reason someone will just leave the game is that if he has 0 money to play for gambling. Other's say that if they have win the jackpot, on the contrary, if you just won the jackpot then there's a reason to comeback again. You have the money and you want to try if you can win big again. But I doubt it will happened again. So for me, the possible way to leave is that if your bankroll are emptied. Simple as that.

True. They just quit when they've realized that it's bad and really illogical to gamble. They just quit when they already have nothing to gamble and brag about in betting. The painful one is that some gambling addict do bad things ( robbery ) to just sustain their gambling addiction which is I think we can't let happen to ourselves.

544  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: May 17, 2017, 01:16:31 AM
In the past years, bitcoins community has been struggling to survive. Yup. The potential of Bitcoin to take over the monetary system of the world is there but the acceptability of it to people and government and banks is another story. Cryptocurrencies are being popular not only in these community but to people and many are asking what really is cryptocurrencies. Since BTC came form the underground of the internet some are afraid that it must be illegal and a threat to humanity.
Nowadays, because of bitcoins potential some banks decided to be open on it's regulation. Many sites are open in cryptocurrencies exchanges, online games and online stores are accepting it as a payment. Maybe still not legally accepted we can't deny the fact that Bitcoin is becoming the people's money. A global currency that being accepted slowly.

Hi manager, I have some little question about stakes in the signature campaign,

I joined 5/4/2017 6:21:51 and have posted the minimum requirement which is 15 post starting the date.
When I checked on the spreadsheet now, I have 1 stake on "W2 14-20 APR" which I supposed I am not entitled.
but on "W4 28-4MAY" and "W5 5-11MAY" I have 0 stake, can you please tell me if there is a problem with the sheet?

Additionally, it was stated in rule no. 4) Write 15 posts a week and don't spam. Each Thursday is your weekly checkpoint
but it says here " All the rules of the Bounty Campaign are explained in our special website page. " and by checking on it, it says
" At least 1 post a week must be constructive and in the Exscudo ANN thread"

Can you please clarify that one also, is it required to post 1 in ANN or not anymore?

Hope you can give light to this to avoid confusion to the participants.. Thank you !

So if we do not post at least 1 in the ANN thread, we are not entitled with a stake for the week?
If yes, can you consider it? because it is not visibly stated here in the rules as follows ;

Bitcointalk Forum signature campaign (720 000 EONs):
1) Create your Exscudo account
2) Copy the signature and avatar and set it to your BTT profile before applying the form
3) Apply through this form
4) Write 15 posts a week and don't spam. Each Thursday is your weekly checkpoint
5) Check your rewards (stakes) in this spreadsheet

It should be written in the first place because it is important......

Some rules is not stated clearly. Thank you for asking about it. Im hoping that the manager will clear it. Smiley
546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: May 16, 2017, 01:01:26 PM
No I’m not, I learned to lessen gambling habit in the hard way. I always bet when a festival came, dices, spins, cards and I think to bet more and more when I’m losing not knowing that I don’t have cash anymore. Maybe if I’m a casino owner or an investor in online casinos then I will become rich in gambling, but as a casual person who bet only occasionally, the probability to become rich is low.
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is Gambling Like Investing on: May 16, 2017, 07:49:51 AM
Gambling can never become an investment. Only way is when you invest in a gambling website. So whatever the profit the owner makes, you can get a part of it. But of you meant by doing gambling, gambling and investment are not even close.

Gambling can be an investment, if you know about what are the casino's do with those people that wants to invest into their site. They are allowing people to invest to their bankroll so that it can make the amount of winning higher for the gamblers. If you want to see an example of it, you can just click my signature and visit it.
I think gambling is like investment if you have good knowledge about gambling.

Although risk is always there in both trading and gambling but we can minimize the risk in gambling if we have proper planning and strategy to play gambling, even in some format of gambling your previous experience and gambling skill. Your analysis can also help you in gambling,

The best investment you can have is your own skills, I mean is gambling is just a game you can either win or lose and there always a risk thats why it is called a gamble. Your own skills and experience is the one who will help you to be at a advantage of the game. Invest in learning probability and statistics when you are in gambling. Mathematics ang engineering economy will help you determine the percentage of winning and the percentage of profit. Gambling is a hard game. Even those who use mathematics can be defeated. In gambling nothing is uncertain.
548  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: May 16, 2017, 05:05:04 AM
What are the features that a good investor should have? What are the characteristics of people who have enough capital and earn money from money?

What are the factors that make these people successful in their investments?

I think one of the features that an investor should have is the way to think ahead of what will happen. In engineering economy future profits and the lost considering the values of time and money you’ve invested the outcome can be calculated. But not everyone can learn engineering economy in a short amount of time. Think ahead and assume possibilities and be competitive.
As Warren Buffet said in investing:
"Should you find yourself in a chronically leaking boat, energy devoted to changing vessels is likely to be more productive than energy devoted to patching leaks."
"Opportunities come infrequently. When it rains gold, put out the bucket, not the thimble."
"If you aren't willing to own a stock for 10 years, don't even think about owning it for 10 minutes. Put together a portfolio of companies whose aggregate earnings march upward over the years, and so also will the portfolio's market value."
"It's far better to buy a wonderful company at a fair price than a fair company at a wonderful price."
Only when the tide goes out do you discover who's been swimming naked."
"Never invest in a business you cannot understand."
"Whether we're talking about socks or stocks, I like buying quality merchandise when it is marked down."
"Rule No. 1 is never lose money. Rule No. 2 is never forget Rule No. 1."
On buying individual stocks: "If you like spending six to eight hours per week working on investments, do it. If you don't, then dollar-cost average into index funds."

Quotes are from the google came from Warren Buffett
He is one of the richest man in the world and he work his way to the top because he is not that wealthy in the past. The lesson here is we have the resources the internet, we can seek advices on other people. We can buy books about business and read. The rub is on ourselves, through time we will learn all the mistakes along the way. Good luck.
549  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: May 16, 2017, 02:16:50 AM
So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)

I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.

Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)

Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)

Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

When you have that amount of bitcoins then you can do a lot of things in the real world. Treat yourself and your relatives and love ones. Explore some and be in an adventure to reward yourself. When you are thinking about business then you can start a hardware business in your local town or a grocery store. You can buy lands and farms with that amount. When we’re talking about shelter then buy a good house that will make your home comfortable.
Many people don’t have that amount so make every cents become worth it. When you still not decided on what to do then hold it in your cold storage.

If today's the day I die
Lay me down under the lights
Let me fall in love
Let me save a life
And let me lose my voice
Singing all my favorite songs
Let me stare up at the stars
'Cause it's where we all belong
If today's the day I go
Gonna drink with all my friends
Gonna laugh until we cry
As we talk and reminisce
And let me kiss a stranger
And rob the local bank
Let me become real rich
So I can give it all away
Living Louder lyrics © Sony/ATV Music Publishing LLC

This is a lyrics of a song, so if today is our last day? Why not gamble everything. Because of the fear of losing our careers, reputation and lives, we limit ourselves to what we can do not knowing that were not really living the moment and we were just later realized it when we are older that I should’ve done this or I should’ve done that. And yes I will gamble everything, I will do anything that I should be doing and treat my family and relatives because it is just money. Go to a festival do some games and have fun. The thing is yes money is important, but more important is when you are spending it with others.
552  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best short-term investment you have ever made? on: May 15, 2017, 10:43:06 AM
The best short term investment I've ever made is when farmer mortgage his 10 hectares coconut farm to me for about 1500$ in one month. Well coconot farming happens every 30 to 40 days gap between the previous farming. Guess what? I earned 1000$ in a month. Since then I'm always searching for someone that want to mortgage their land because every farming season, money will come. Since then, I can't really call it an investment but since then I'm open in land investment.

The really short term investment I've made in BTC is this January. I buy almost 500$ BCt  and sell it this month where the price is almost 1900$.
553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be used to support terrorists? on: May 15, 2017, 09:29:00 AM
If i remember first the bitcoin was introduced to use it for silk route to deal the underworld mafia transactions, and then after the silk route was shut down by the government the bitcoin technology was leaked out and then it came to the real world and everyone started to enjoy it, not it is more like a online digital currency. So it is upto the users to use it which ever way they want just like fiat currency is also used by both good and bad ways. Then why only bitcoin is getting so much of attention

True. I’ve even watched the documentary of the deep web about the Silk Road. I don’t actually get the whole story and who really is the mastermind of the den because there are so many holes in the documentation maybe because the information of the investigation is classified. Since then bitcoins name began to sprout and scattered to the new age.

Image is from Google:

Sure btc get increased usage on terrorist activities and illegal purposes because of the anonymous nature.

Fiat is anonymous itself but you will need to transact face to face in order to hand over a money and bitcoins advantage is just a click away and transactions is finished, but that doesn't mean that BTC is bad. Having a cryptoccurriences or not, terrorism will continue.
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin implants? on: May 15, 2017, 06:28:06 AM
Well one of the best way to carry something is having it on your own body and making something a part of it. As we can see in the future in movies, people access certain doors and securities by using their hand and having some chip on it. Of course it's good but I think it will be more prone to bad people. They will cut your hand if necessary in order to steal.

I've heard some news about making DNA as a storage device which I think more reliable than implants. The bitcoins are in your cell not worrying about a wierd chip in your body. Well it's still all speculations and we won't know what happen for sure in the future. We still have a long way to go. Stay tuned.

Many people think of radiation, or criminals who cut off the hands of implant chips holders, but I think it's just like our wallet happens to be stolen by bad guys, crime is inevitable, but with chips and dna, monitored with gps system, The only reason I'm against this is our privacy will be lost entirely because our existence will be very easily found by certain parties because of the gps system contained in it.

I wonder why we have to be monitored by a GPS system, I mean is in our current monetary system right now ( called fiat ) we arenot being monitored,or at least they want to monitor you. There are what we called Cold Storage so you can store your BTC even if you are not online. The only reason why we need to go online is when we are sending or recieving btc. I agree with you that it will ruin our privary, nit just privacy, it will violate human rights. And I think before anyone will agree to the terms that BTC will become the new money, they will ensure that their very own action in their everyday lives is not being watched.

556  Economy / Economics / Re: Moment for buying or selling? on: May 13, 2017, 11:45:24 PM
I was thinking, because of Bitcoin price skyrocketed, would it be wise to buy bitcoin now? I have some bitcoin in wallet, but nothing much, and i was thinking to buy some bitcoin more. But because of price rising in last few days i am not sure what to do, because if i buy now, maybe price will go down and ill lose profit, or maybe it will go up and i did not buy so ill lose profit too. What are your thinking on matter and what do you think how much will price of bitcoin rise this year?
Well instead of having a second thought, don’t waste time and buy bitcoins now. In my personal experience be updated on the trends of bitcoins price and try to act in the right time. The earnings in buying in selling might not be that big but when it comes to much larger scale of amount, you will see that the earning is moving. Buy when the price is low, sell when it is high (this method is not reliable all the time).
Even the experts and economists are saying that it will reach 2000$ at the end of the year. Even hackers nowadays as I’ve heard on the news want bitcoin as a ransom price, that means it is more valuable than risking their lives in hacking the government (well I’m not sure on the true story, maybe this is all just government acts and plans or the government is really hacked, or this is just a show to cover something big).

I think yes, bitcoin is worth to become a career, the price of bitcoin now is pretty good, for third country is a good way to make a living with bitcoin, many people now has try to make a living with bitcoin, one of my friend quit his job and make bitcoin as his source of living and now he is quite wealthy

I think it is more than just a price. As we all see, that staff of some company that deals with altcoins are professionals ( now all ), and they are graduate in prestigiousschool in their country and their degree is really on computer and software industry, and we need more of that. Well in my country there are information technologists but they are not capable or very out of league when a real job comes and my country is lacking more of that. The world is undoubtedly going into the digital world, and as I've said more careers are guaranteed into that field. If you're thinking about having a career in this thing, go for it. These kind of jobs are in demand and it will become a major career in the near future.
This is more than just cryptocurrencies, this is a legend in the making.

If the politicians enters in the world of bitcoin, I think there is a chances that bitcoin can lead to corruption. Even there's a chance the corruption of bitcoin, it will never be happen anymore because developer would not want it to happen because they know that bitcoin corruption can lead the bitcoiners to quit using bitcoin.

The politicians are aware of bitcoins ongoing improvements in the market, were not quite sure on how will they react in the future ( well they are only puppets to a more dangerous society in the dark ). Cryptocurrencies are taking it's place in these new generation and as I see it even without the politics, Ponzi scheme and other scams are chronic nowadays. And if the government will be involve, then you might not be able to see what hit you.

No, it's a big "NO" , because I believe and I think that Bitcoin cannot corrupted by everyone. Due it was a digital currency that cannot use to any bad thing, because it was protected by private systems of Bitcoin company.

Well because of bitcoins system complexity, you can't use it in curruption by simple means. They are using the term cryptocurrencies and bitcoins to fool people not the actual transaction. What I mean is they are using it's name so people might bite because it is something new not knowing that there are many groups that take advantage of that ( especially when people have no actual understanding in the bitcoins network or basic knowledge about it ).

It depends on the amount I've won. Of course when the game is hard fought then I will keep the prize and replaced back the capital. I'm a very economically person, I don't want just money to fade without buying good things. Of course sometimes I treat my family and relatives but in most cases I'm saving the prize that I've won.

That's a very smart call, just try to get too dragged in and use the money you saved to make a comeback on the losses you made
Always cut losses on time Tongue

Well thank you for the advice, but when I’m trying to make a comeback instead of winning more money, I tend to lose all of the money that’s why I’m putting some limitations. I’ve tried that a bunch of times especially when a festival in town came. Cutting losses on time is pretty hard for me because the losses is getting bigger and bigger when I’m trying to win, I think it’s because of the pressure of the game and I’m making a lot of mistakes when the bet is big. So I always save the money I’ve won (already subtracted the profit) and gamble with small amount again. Less hassle and pressure.

i am agree with you, but no matter how much amount that we won, its still better to save it in our wallet until the amount is getting bigger than before. i think its fine to buy something that we want to celebrate our winning like we buy some food or gadget or good things but first we need to withdraw our winning money to buy that things. but if i can win big money then i feel its like i can buy everything that i want and i can save it after make withdraw for my future.
This is only when the game is on our side. Some days are rough and the game is always unbalanced, the negativity of the universe is into you and every game is a loss. It’s hard to think in that kind of days. As we all can see it’s not always a win-win situation. The best thing to do is make gambling as a passed time and a recreational activity. Save the money when you are in a winning streak and when in a losing streak, you won’t take it personal because it’s just a passed time and only a small portion of your money is damage. It’s hard to win in gambling but the feeling it gives when you are winning is undeniably great.
