541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM ICOs, what we can do? on: November 12, 2019, 04:10:20 PM
Hi, recently so many past-ICOs turned into a scam or a deadcoin.
Is there anything what we can do to punish them? More than 2 years ICOs are scamming us and still people are investing, is this really a world what we want to create?
Unfortunately, we can't do something about it like punishing them because cryptocurrency isn't legal yet in some places meaning there's no law that will protect you from this scam project. The only thing I can think of is that before we participate or to engage in their activities we must do some research first or technical analysis that will tell you if it is worth of your time. We tend to be scammed simply because were are only participating without having a single knowledge about the team or what is their development which is totally wrong.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters do not need to wait for altcoin season on: November 12, 2019, 03:25:53 PM
Some bounty hunters quit because altcoin market is not in good shape but very few new projects still manage to enter this space in this so called bad time, my point is if new projects can take the risks why not same with bounty hunters? altcoin market of this year is poor no doubt but some bounty projects still become a success

Why waiting for altcoin season?

Yeah maybe our current bounty reward is not valuable in the market, but who knows 1 year after or 2 years. It might be become something and it's better than nothing. If we had free time to do it. It won't make us poor and also give us knowledges about cryptocurrency which is really nice
Indeed, that is why I don't believe that bounty campaigns are dead. Most of the projects are scams and some of them have low value probably because we are in bear market. Investors are having a doubt to put their investment in any projects that is why the team cannot able to reach their cap but doesn't mean its dead. If you are truly a bounty hunter you'd take it and wait till the altcoins seasons came back, perhaps this will be happen as uptrend to begin.
543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is twitter a good source of info? on: November 12, 2019, 02:22:27 PM
I'm trying to build a bitcoin news twitter
https://twitter.com/bitcoinsights

What do you think?
Leave your valuable thoughts Smiley
I appreciated your intent but this is too common, there's a lot of twitter account who give latest news about Bitcoin, market and other cryptocurrencies. Besides, the characters you can put in twitter is limited thus you cannot able to make a full statement of clarify what it is all about. Much better if you will create a channel that discusses the use of Bitcoin in your country. In choosing platform where to place an update, pick what is the most used social media upon your place for instance, Facebook is the most commonly used platform in my country.
544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Permission to Use Bitcoin Logo on: November 12, 2019, 10:58:28 AM
Are you really a Bitcoin fan? Because if you know the basic fundamentals of Bitcoin, you would know that asking for permission to use the logo is like saying that Bitcoin isn't decentralised, it's almost like saying that Bitcoin works lie banks with a centralised body.. Bitcoin is me and you, we own it and we have a say in it and that includes the use of the logo, anybody can use it especially when it's for a noble cause.

the OP is just making sure that bitcoin logo isn't copyrighted and to make sure problems wouldn't arise if someone suddenly claims that bitcoin logo is copyrighted by them.
you made it sounds like the OP made a mistake by asking if he needs permission to use the bitcoin logo. there is nothing wrong with what he asked and that doesn't define if
someone is a fan of bitcoin or not.

we own it
NO! we don't own it. just because it is decentralized and anyone can use it it doesn't mean we own it.
Exactly, no one owns Bitcoin because it is decentralize. I've seen a lot of merchandise that has Bitcoin logo printed on it and I've never seen or hear any complaint upon using the logo. I like how OP thinks regards with copyright system, he still concerned to the person or organization who owns the particular logo, perhaps is how folk in the market thinks unlike other people who uses someones trademark for their own good.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best time for promoting bounty projects on: November 11, 2019, 04:14:33 PM
The best time to promote bounties are on altcoins season ,if you are tired of one delay after the other just quit till altcoins season returns ,this is the reason why 2017 was the best year for bounty hunters

Or you can keep promoting alts till when the seasons returns, this way you would have accumulate a good number of different alts, possibly some out of it will yield something good, honestly, the market situation is making it very discouraging to support any alts bounty at this time, it is all about having faith in the market and the project you support.
Indeed, it is just a matter of luck I guess, it is better to work to accumulate variously alts and hold until it goes back again rather than doing nothing, I know that some of them will not fruit a good cause but still, this will be profitable in some other ways. Besides, as the bull market comes I believe that altcoins will also bloom probably not in the form ICOs just like the year 2017 but much better. And if the market goes back again this will capture more investors that will revive the seasons for alts.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose which altcoin will you buy? on: November 11, 2019, 03:22:44 PM
Hello

Recently I started looking into new projects as I have some free time and I'm wondering what do you guys look at when you are deciding which altcoin to buy and hold.

Do you know any projects that you believe has a bright future?

I hear a lot of people complaining that they bought coins that were either dead in a few weeks or the project was pointless. I would like to avoid such situations.

Thank you in advance.
If you are looking for a token/coin to invest with, I highly recommend to go visit Coinmarketcap and look for top-ranked coins such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP and more since they are the most liquid in the market that could probably bring a high return. However, if you still wanted to invest in new projects make sure to have some research first where you want to invest with, check for their development, their roadmap and if they will able to reach their hardcap. There's a lot of projects that do not meet their goal so better to do some analysis first.
547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, do you guys think cryptocurrencies will be gone anytime soon? on: November 11, 2019, 02:10:19 PM
I haven't been trading my bitcoins and cryptos since this year begins, but I have noticed that the hype train is slowing down since then, compared to last year. I want some honest opinion about the future outlook of BTC or crypto per se. Should investors invest in it ?
Why not investor shouldn't invest in Bitcoin? Bitcoin is not dead it is just happened we were in bear market due to some circumstances but you can expect that sooner or later market will recover again. Bitcoin is potentially profitable and there's no doubt that it is worth to invest with, all you need to have is patience. I believe that crypto will never gone as a matter of fact some big countries are now acknowledge the existence of this currency and even the Blockchain technology.
548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and tax in your countries on: November 11, 2019, 12:01:17 PM
for in my country bitcoin user tax is not charged but when making an exchange to FIAT I get a tax which in my opinion is not large. because in my country bitcoin hasn't got full permission so it's still tax free
Actually the same in my country the government doesn't impose tax to the user. Bitcoin is legal in our country though every transactions when converting to fiat there is a few fee deducted, it is less amount which considerable. So we're still grateful since most of us here did not require to pay tax.
Expect that if one country accept or constitutionalize the utilization of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies this would give a sign for government to impose tax for the users. In the country where I belong cryptocurrency is somehow between of illegal and legal act thus our government have no implications of applying a tax system upon the usage of this technology. Luckily, only the transactions fee coming from any crypto platform is the one that serves as our tax.
549  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quick Noob Question about Traders on: November 10, 2019, 04:32:17 PM
I have 1.8 btc in total from two different trading sites. Its stored there. On somedays the websites work and is fully operational. hustrade.com and waxcoins.com

Does it have to do with server?

I know I might be answerings this question for myself, but it never hurts to ask.
Personally, I've never heard those exchanges before. It's very dangerous to store your funds on exchanges especially if they aren't well-known. Supposedly, the purpose of exchanges is not to store any asset because it is the job of the crypto wallets that is why they are existing besides, exchanges are the platforms where we used to trade with different assets or coins. The risk of placing your funds in any exchanges will be vulnerable to hackers, according to coinlance, way back 2018 there are few exchanges whether it's small or big had been stolen their funds and recently the New Zealand exchange, "Cryptopia" had also been hacked.
550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 Concerns You Have For Bitcoin on: November 10, 2019, 02:39:55 PM
Basically my concern for bitcoin is how will it adopt if the government will make it legal. I mean its quite good though but at some point it would be a really big change to the usual processes. However, I think it can be handled properly and the more it became known to many, the more its security might be compromise as well. Its really quite wierd but we'll just cross the bridge when we get there.
I don't want it too to be legalised by government that may cause taxes in every transaction and they will put restrictions too much but it can help to lessen scam and hacking attempts. This may cause adoption of it will be legalised too. We all don't know what may happen as it gets more popular.
You have a point legalization of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies means of having the government to manipulate or regulation of our transaction, they might charge a tax for every transaction which we don't like. For me, it is better to keep Bitcoin in the middle, I mean away from legalization and away from prohibition or state of being illegal. Besides, I think government will never put this kind of unmanageable currency, perhaps they would rather create their own digital currency just like what's China doing.
551  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Could Make Bitcoin Drop To $5? on: November 10, 2019, 12:29:09 PM
We mostly see the volume of Bitcoin is very visible to us,user and it is likely to view that has a higher value in the market. Bitcoin is very popular right now because many people get benefits and income that we might use in everyday living. Other people could think that it would not happen that Bitcoin would drop into $5. This would happen if there are some possibilities would happen like worldwide prohibition.
552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Agree To Publicize Your Journey From Being Chronic Gambler on: November 10, 2019, 10:33:33 AM
You are once a chronic gambler but with the help of a professional you are now totally cured, then a publisher offers you to publicize your journey from being a chronic gambler to a cured one, but of course, everything could be exposed like your habit experiences, your agony and even your personal life, will you agree to do this, of course the publisher will pay you for the story that you are going to provide.
I would definitely will share my experiences not only because of the money but because I want to tell to others that they can be cured even if they were addicted to it. I want to tell them that they can change. Personally, I never been a chronic gambler but I do have experience in this industry hence I know how being addicted.
553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin and casinos on: November 09, 2019, 02:32:55 PM
I have worked for a few years in a casino and I couldn't help but imagine that people should be able to gamble with bitcoin.

Is it already happening? - I don't mean on the internet

And do you think this will be future of casinos?
You mean, playing in casino in real life and having Bitcoin as a bet? It seems impossible I guess. Bitcoin is a digital money and as far as I know it can only access through the use of internet, meaning any transaction regards with this form of currency can only executable online unless Bitcoin have a physical coin that can be used in physical transactions or activities. In my case, it is enough for me to use cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin for online transaction where it perfectly originated.
554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Business ideas with 60 Bitcoin? What would you do? on: November 09, 2019, 12:11:10 PM
If someone has 60 BTC can he start a decent crypto business to make passive income? Please share some business ideas.
What would you prefer? Casino/Sportsbetting/Wallet/Exchange and which has the highest earning potential?
Provided i have funds - 60BTC and no knowledge regarding business and i am not a designer but i want to start my own crypto business. Where can i start? Where can i find and hire team for myself like designers/developers etc to start my business? I know good team can help the business grow but bad team can ruin everything so what are the things to look for before starting a business? Where to get the business partners with good ideas and genuine team? Where would you start from if you are in my situation. Please share your opinions in this thread  Smiley
60 Bitcoin is quite immense amount indeed and probably enough to create your own crypto business. However, it would hardly to create a business if you have no idea where to get a team. In this world it is better if you will create a team that is credible and could do the job properly. This place is full of deception so if you have no enough knowledge regarding with these things then your 60 BTC might be place in vain. To start with you must gather information as much as possible, make a plan or a roadmap for guide. The best option is let's just not limit our business in crypto, perhaps you could use the fund to buy stocks in the market.
555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we can introduce bitcoin to local people on: November 09, 2019, 11:26:55 AM
You can introduce bitcoin to local people by give them internet access, ask local them browsing with bitcoin and altcoin site to know detail with bitcoin. After checking with bitcoin you can tell him what is bitcoin and altcoin because very easy to understood if have know basic with bitcoin first, after know whit bitcoin you can give them the way how to get profit with bitcoin investing.

It is not an easy thing to do if we tell them at a simple way. I have friend that negative to bitcoin and if you not give them a proper and legit example they didn't listen. although it is hard I still give them some hint where I earn my money with that they have small interest on how to have a huge income through trading and bitcoin. still have some negativity but with strategy to propose them about bitcoin they gain knowledge and being more curious how could be digital currency exist. that's why now they are learning and do some research to have more information about bitcoin.

the different is smart people will search whats new is going on, and the other wait from other people. and ask local people to browsing is not enough, and thats right its not easy thing to do. how if they cant access internet? they need mentor that always ready when they have some question.
It's not that easy to introduce Bitcoin especially for those people who have no total interest. No matter how you insist, if a person are close minded for these things it won't make any difference. Actually, Bitcoin is already been introduced in public by media but some of them are in negative way. The best way I can only think of to introduced this from public is through the government.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash Price Prediction 2020 on: November 08, 2019, 05:14:18 PM
although bitcoin cash will explode in the future, still the main thing to explode is bitcoin. I think it will be difficult to replace his position. if it happens to rise to the moon again, of course bitcoin will start it and it will be the highest in the market. then other coins will follow like etherum, or bitcoin cash itself.
Exactly, most of crypto are following the movement of Bitcoin, if it pumps the whole market will do the same, it is more likely Bitcoin is the basis of altcoins. Regarding if Bitcoin Cash will dethrone the Bitcoin, I think it is nearly impossible. Bitcoin Cash is indeed like Bitcoin but it cannot compete the liquidity and the volume of Bitcoin have. However, these are just a mere speculation, nothing is impossible in this kind of market so who knows might happen.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be afraid of making mistakes on: November 08, 2019, 04:36:40 PM
You can try to avoid mistakes, but never be afraid of making one and neither should you be afraid of failure.
The fear of what will happen might be a limitation.
Cryptocurrency sometimes can be very complex and funny, most especially when you find yourself in a situation you have never been exposed to.
When the market is all good, mistakes are not easily detected, but when the situation of the market seems to be on a negative side, then fear sets in and sometimes, we become afraid of what may likely happen if we take a step further, to do what we have never been exposed to.
Even if you eventually fail, it is a stepping stone to become become better and achieving greater success.

As a matter of fact mistake is one of the most effective way to learn. As we lose or as we made mistake, we tend to learn from it how to avoid and not getting the same mistake. Don't afraid because even the people who are now successful had the same experience. In fact even if we know a lot of things we still used to make wrong decision. Mistake is inevitable yet not totally bad, what makes it worse is when you repeat the same mistake. This is not only applicable in crypto but also in life life.
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How BIG will the crypto market be if China legit cryptos? on: November 08, 2019, 02:48:37 PM
China is a big country indeed, they are the most populous country in the world and that will have definitely cause a big impact in the crypto industry however, that would not be enough to hit a billion, trillion or even quadrillion amount. Participation and massive adoption of countries across the world might put it in reality. If China legalize the utilization of crypto then we could see an another bull run market.
559  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Sad news - Coinbase is leaking your information on: November 08, 2019, 12:37:11 PM
I think this is not new, as we know it like Facebook and Google, also have it like this, but they have a system that is not easy to hijack.

It is also possible that Coinbase also has a system that will be constantly updated for safety
Honestly, after reading this I'm get little bit disappointed in Coinbase. Facebook and Google are different platform from Coinbase, we tend to choose to hide our identity if it comes in financial matter because there are still some places where it is prohibited hence, this will be a problem if they caught being involved in cryptocurrency. In Facebook we are all aware that our info could be share into 3rd parties but for case of Coinbase or any such crypto related accounts, it is pretty far different. Personally, I preferably to hide my identity out of this,as a matter of fact I am not even fond of KYC system.
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need your advice! on: November 07, 2019, 04:17:47 PM
I have mentioned a project called Sessia (kicks). The project offers something like incentive. After each purchase, you get Cashbacks, and your friends can see your receipt in the Feed. What's more, you get kickbacks from all their purchases in the same shop.
What do you think guys about its future. I need your advice that should I invest in this project? Kindly suggest me.
https://www.sessia.com/
After learning about sessia in the past i later realize that i have missed another good project again, at that time they introduced bounty campaign for bounty hunters, i was just too blind to see the potential, its a good project but my advice is to invest only what you can afford to lose, its a new projects and many new projects are failing, even those that have a good start
I miss opportunity with sessia bounty campaign, I am very disappointed after bookmark of sessia bounty campaign tread but not join their campaign, have higher price on exchange market make me very sad why not participated at sesia bounty campaign project, price of sessia after distributing for bounty participants reach more than $1 and many bounty participants are happy with joining sessia campaign.
That is why we should make technical analysis first before engaging in a project, we should consider their hardcap and their roadmap as well, if they have a potential to grow. There's must have been some good campaign that is worth to invest with and all we need to do is to find them but expect that this will be challenging.
