5481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: October 16, 2019, 03:31:41 AM
I have a question,

Let's assume the worst case scenario, BullionStar gets hacked and all funds get wiped out then what will happen to gold token?

Gold has been listed on https://logicdex.pro/#0x0d16450d347c12c086d6c94c76c5aaac35ea07e0-ETH

its a decentralized exchange !!
I don't understand what your intention are but I found out that you posted the listing of another token the same day you post this message.
The question is, are you in touch with the team before you add the token?
Cause the listing news are always post by BM

It's a decentralized exchange like ED/FD, you can trade any ethereum token by using contract address, it's not really a 'listing'.
5482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice Site that Allows Change of Roll Choice in Autobet on: October 15, 2019, 11:30:16 AM
Luckygames  (https://m.luckygames.io) allows you to change sides on consecutive wins/losses.

They give 500 lucky tokens to every new user, you can make test freely with that. Good luck!

Thanks for this suggestion. I've tried it very quickly. I was a bit confused though. Is it the reverse target that changes roll option? And it seems there is no option to change the win chance. I don't know how it appears to other users but the UI does not give the feeling that one is in a dice site.

Yes 'reverse target' option changes roll side. You can write your number in 'Prediction' field to change win chance.

Here in India, labourers earn 200-300 INR for days work (about 8 hours)

I am sure making 20 posts a day is easier than whole days work and you earn more.
I don't know how much that amount of INR is relative to USD, and I'm too tired to google it, but your second statement leads me to believe that it isn't much.  I know shitting in the streets in India is a problem, but I didn't think the average wage would be so low.  All the Indians I've met in the US tend to be very smart and extremely hard working.  Makes me wonder why the country is so poor--probably the government, just like most other countries with depressed economies.  Please correct me if I'm wrong.

It makes about 2.8 - 4 USD but then things here are cheap as well. For example, you can buy many vegetables for under 40 Rs/kg (56 cents).

Street shitting in India is indeed a problem, government has also started initiatives to encourage people to build and use toilets. We also have garbage problem, our PM had tweeted about ban on single use plastics. I hope it gets implemented soon.

Most of our problems come from over population and lack of self-discipline (if you ever visit India, it will become obvious).

Those who can't tolerate these things, have means to move out, they fly away.
5484  Other / Meta / Re: Funny since the Cryptotalk campaign came. on: October 15, 2019, 04:17:56 AM
Yobit pays what, 12k satoshi per post up to 20 posts per day?  You better believe everybody and their mother is going to be applying for that campaign.
If the revenue in the yobit campaign is 1.01 $ in per post, multiplied by 20 in one day = 20.2 $ and in one month times 30 = $ 606.
and added 10 uncles = $ 6,060. in one month.

Very noble yobit campaign, can employ all family members there, uncle, mother, grandmother, sister-in-law.

If yobit participants, living in Singapore, may in a few months buy a new car or new home.

I think we all are focusing on 20$ per day thing which is impossible to maintain if anyone wants to remain in the campaign. Theoretically yes, You  can do but practically you cannot. You can do 20 post one day, two, three days and that's all.  So if anyone is dreaming to buy a car or home on basis of this will be disappointed to find their name in the banned list sooner or later.

You can actually, you would be surprised to see what are wages in third world country.

Here in India, labourers earn 200-300 INR for days work (about 8 hours)

I am sure making 20 posts a day is easier than whole days work and you earn more.

It all depends where you live and how you live.
5485  Other / Meta / Re: Annoying bounty reports on: October 15, 2019, 04:03:24 AM
It's in a bounty thread so I really couldn't care less, and for me whenever BMs allow something like this, I just avoid the project lol

There were few projects who took reports by Google forms or website, still users were posting on the bounty thread.

Any reason why most people don't really bet on Politics?

They don't understand politics, they don't gamble and there are not many casinos who take betting on politics.

This isn't anything new, every coin you see on binance chain is supported by their counterparts.
5489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fortnite, PUBG, DOTA 2, Hearthstone, Apex coming to blockchain? Mass adoption? on: October 13, 2019, 01:42:42 PM
Sure it will help in adoption, I also want them to support cod-m, it's fastest thing growing in mobile market right now.

Any idea, why is their medium account got suspended?
5490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: October 12, 2019, 06:26:48 AM
Use forkdelta if anyone wants gold on decentralized exchange: https://forkdelta.app/#!/trade/0x0d16450d347c12c086d6c94c76c5aaac35ea07e0-ETH

Do check the rates first, there are already couple orders to deceive users, buying 10 gold tokens for peanuts.
5491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: October 11, 2019, 12:02:41 PM
@bm could you guys update etherscan details for gold token? With logo, website, etc. That will give more credibility.
5492  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: does an Android phone wallet exist without the Google Services Framework? on: October 11, 2019, 10:25:59 AM
Thank you the responses  Smiley. It looks like both Electrum & Samourai do not require GSF. Great suggestions that I will try out.

Once disabled, you won't be able to update any apps via Playstore obviously. You won't now have a preview of others app as well if a new and updated version has arrived. To solve this, you must be updated and you need an .apk file of the latest version to overwrite the previous one. Sounds hassle indeed.

You can use alternative stores to tackle this problem. Like f-droid, Aurora store, etc.

5493  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: BEST ANDROID BITCOIN WALLET ? on: October 11, 2019, 10:05:30 AM
Breadwallet on an Android phone (needs Marshmallow or Nougat OS) is most secure because it uses protected hardware storage.

I used it a while back, find it rather clunky. UI is displeasing, takes minutes to sync the wallets — they raised millions in ICO iirc, meanwhile there are wallets which were made freely from scratch and still work better.

5497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think Voodoo works in Gambling Games? on: October 09, 2019, 06:08:17 AM
Voodoo do exist but I believe it only works for those who thinks it will work for it. More like what you believe will work for you, will do so. It is more psychological.
Instead of one to waste their time and money in conducting voodoo, they can simply channel their energy and time in developing strategies that will make them win. Come to think of it, if voodoo truly work on gambling every now and then, then I guess every voodoo priest could have been a billionaire from gambling.

People in paranormal stuff do not care about material possessions as much as general population, so I doubt billionaire thing.
5498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: October 09, 2019, 04:28:37 AM

This thread was made prior to the new rule, and yes this entire thread is littered with fake/shill accounts by the team themselves. If a thread has no users interacting with it, it does not yield to a "good public vision" therefore, puppets didn't and will not go away with the new rule, due to the effects of "having a community."

Every aspect of this project yields itself to be a scam, from every written piece of content to how it's marketed and structured. I personally will not spend my time going point-by-point into every red-flag this project throws, despite the previous shill explaining what it means

A scam in crypto does not necessarily have to have an ICO, IEO or have an initial backing. Scam coins exists in all shapes, forms and aspects, ERC-20 tokens by the factor of having any value or worth, can lead into a scam project.

Documents, notarized docs can be forged, faked and manipulated if you have the proper contacts and resources available. By this thread even being on Bitcointalk also lends itself to target the average investor and user here, which is a coincidence when dealing with any significant amount of gold, which would be more attractive outside of the conventional crypto grounds.

I had my fair share of doubts when I saw the announcement and bounty thread as well. I even commented the same.

I joined the project bounty despite having my doubts.

I got paid, tried their instant exchange, easily converted gold tokens to ethereum.

Gold token supply reflects amount of gold stored in BullionStar wallet, which is (
verifiable.

^ but this might not matter to you as you say it can be forged.

Exchanges, in last few days they have already announced two exchange listings. If it were a scam project, I doubt they would be spending any money on exchanges.

One thing is, I didn't find security audit on chainsecurity's website so I have e-mailed them regarding the same, hopefully, I shall get reply soon, will update the same here.

This guy is probably running the show fyi or directly involved: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=360915, who's merited this thread and was the only merit he's ever sent in his life. Merits don't come out of nowhere or from "generous souls," who are not directly involved in the system of awarding or distributing merit to people on active basis.

That man had joined the bounty and might have liked the project hence given the merit.

Which scammer would be stupid enough to merit his own Ann with negative trust account?

Someone accused razorglass of being thief, and later he got removed from bounty. You can check the convo here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5164058.msg52065919#msg52065919

I would like to see your arguments with sufficient proof backing it (other similar projects have been scam, so this one is ought to be so, this is not valid.)
5499  Local / India / Re: Buy bitcoin from binance? on: October 08, 2019, 03:25:52 AM
So recently you can start buying bitcoin from binance using debit card, but since banks are closing accounts which use bitcoin, is it safe? If i use my debit card to buy bitcoin on binance will my bank account close?

You are safe to buy Bitcoins as of now with your credit / debit card because you are not a commercial institution. There is no ban on personal ownership or transaction on Bitcoins. And probably there never will be, despite the rumors you hear.

So you can easily buy the coins with your card through Binance. But just be careful that you are not landing on a phishing / fake binance page. And definitely, do not save your card info in your browser.

You might also need to consider the enormous fees that you may incur when buying with cards.

What?

Doesn't these transactions come under rbi? Also, since this would be overseas transaction — it will come under FEMA.
5500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do not be deceived by inexperienced bounty hunters on: October 07, 2019, 04:03:12 AM
Gone are the times when bounty hunters could choose any project and they would make huge money (2k17!), now you need to spend some time in research. Market has matured, hunters need to mature as well.
