This thread was made prior to the new rule, and yes this entire thread is littered with fake/shill accounts by the team themselves. If a thread has no users interacting with it, it does not yield to a "good public vision" therefore, puppets didn't and will not go away with the new rule, due to the effects of "having a community."

Every aspect of this project yields itself to be a scam, from every written piece of content to how it's marketed and structured. I personally will not spend my time going point-by-point into every red-flag this project throws, despite the previous shill explaining what it means

A scam in crypto does not necessarily have to have an ICO, IEO or have an initial backing. Scam coins exists in all shapes, forms and aspects, ERC-20 tokens by the factor of having any value or worth, can lead into a scam project.

Documents, notarized docs can be forged, faked and manipulated if you have the proper contacts and resources available. By this thread even being on Bitcointalk also lends itself to target the average investor and user here, which is a coincidence when dealing with any significant amount of gold, which would be more attractive outside of the conventional crypto grounds.

I had my fair share of doubts when I saw the announcement and bounty thread as well. I even commented the same.

I joined the project bounty despite having my doubts.

I got paid, tried their instant exchange, easily converted gold tokens to ethereum.

Gold token supply reflects amount of gold stored in BullionStar wallet, which is (

Exchanges, in last few days they have already announced two exchange listings. If it were a scam project, I doubt they would be spending any money on exchanges.

One thing is, I didn't find security audit on chainsecurity's website so I have e-mailed them regarding the same, hopefully, I shall get reply soon, will update the same here.

Merits don't come out of nowhere or from "generous souls," who are not directly involved in the system of awarding or distributing merit to people on active basis.

AFAIK, Jinbi one of the ICO projects that utilize Gold too, even though their tokens have been listed on the CMC but until now they have not paid the hunter.  we just pay attention to what will happen to this project, whether it will end up scam or not.. to be honest, I hope this project runs smoothly and not a scam.

I'm aware of the Jinbi scam act and I'm also surprised why the didn't pay their bounty participants but this project is quite different for they send payment monthly to their bounty participants. Don't you think paying for someone else mistake is an act of injustice without genuine proof?

The initial deployment of the project might be doing good but later on you will see the true color of the project.

Yes, it's as good as we don't compare with other projects, because of course every project will have differences with other projects of the same concept but different missions, if we feel comfortable in a project then support that project, don't compare

I led you and others into a bit of information here, the rest will be uncovered with time and with some diligent efforts. Coinciding with every premise this project is founded on, I'll restate 9.99~/10 "commodity backed project" have been scams. The sheer odds, combined with the above statements provided lead to a conclusion, that, this is a scam.


If you want to buy gold, go buy gold on Forex or some commodity broker. If you're trying to own gold, through a shady fucking scheme, on Bitcointalk, through an ERC-20 token, you're better off playing a slot machine or burning your money for heating your home.

We totally agree. Any document can be falsified. However, the documents proving that the smart contract passed the audit, that the gold was placed in the vault, that there is insurance protection, etc. were all issued by respective companies. You can verify this by contacting those companies and asking them if they have indeed issued these papers. If they say they didn't, then you can conclude that the project is indeed a fraud and that we have produced and published fake documents.

This user https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=360915 participated in our the bounty campaign, as shown in the bounty spreadsheet. That's probably where the merit came from. However, after the following post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5164058.msg52057760#msg52057760    he was removed from the bounty campaign.

True, any project – even if it doesn't conduct an ICO – can turn out to be a scam. At this point, our team has already invested over $700k of our own money, though only a $350k worth of tokens were issued. The team currently controls most of the tokens. All tokens are 100% backed with gold. If you know of any other project that have purchased physical gold using their teams' own money (not and ICO scam) and placed it in a vault only to disappear with it afterwards, then tell us. If you can't name such a project, then please don't compare us to projects whose business model has nothing to do with ours.

That's correct but that still doesn't justify every crypto-related project which is backed by precious metal are all scam project and a project which didn't have an ICO or IEO and still have standard innovation with liquidity has already proved itself to be legit.

Yesterday, I was using for the first time Digital Gold Marketplace and I have to say that everything works very smooth and is made so simple as possible.

Of course one has to know how Etheruem transactions and token works to be able to use the market. Simple basic knowledge is needed about Ethereum, how to send a transaction, wallets, addresses, tokens, etc. Maybe if somebody hears all of this for the first time then can be overwhelmed but believe me if you set up Metamask or My Ether Wallet (MEW) and send transaction then you will be ready to use the GOLD marketplace.

The process is easy. We go to the Marketplace and choose the GOLD token if we want to sell, put the desired amount to sell and ETH address to receive back ETH in return because in my example I was selling GOLD for ETH. We can choose between ETH and BTC.



When we are ready then click exchange and we will see ETH address to which we have to send the desired amount of GOLD tokens to sell. After send we wait for confirmations, which are coming one after another and after 12 confirmations our transaction is accepted and the withdraw started to our ETH wallet address.



Everything took about 10 minutes and I had my ETH in Metamsk wallet. You can watch the process live in the Marketplace.

I don't know about that information, maybe it's just a delay, so we'll wait, hopefully it will happen so that it is listed on the Bitforek exchange we know it's a pretty good exchange, hopefully this will happen soon and I want to try to buy it, maybe for my inventory the analysis is pretty good

I have bought GOLD for the long term seeing the prospects going forward very clearly the price tends to follow the physical gold trend so in fact I have no doubt at all buying GOLD compared to Crypto prices tend to fall, and the team continues to develop with attractive features.

It is great to see the GOLD token listed on more and more exchanges, but sincerely I'd really love to see it on a decentralized one like IDEX or DDEX. I don't think the costs of listing are high there, maybe even inexistent.

On the other hand I would like to ask you if you're going to provide support for liqudity on each exchange?

I don't think listing GOLD on IDEX is a good idea, IDEX is a bad decentralized exchange. The project team should have GOLD listed on larger centralized exchanges in the future
