It doesn't say that a jackpot can't be won if you don't play either, but you can assume that you can't win the jackpot if you don't play.
I agree, you should assume you can't win the progressive jackpot on any machine without playing.

The point is that if the jackpot was designed to be won on a freespin, then the jackpot would have dropped on the freespin, but it was not even coded into the software so it couldn't have dropped.  If it would have dropped and they didn't pay based on their interpretation then that would have been a problem....there's case law on just that point.
The point is, all evidence points to the fact that this jackpot can not be won and Betcoin knows it.

And the references about multiplying the jackpot has nothing to do with freespins...
What makes you think so?

5482  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Beware] TwitchySeal: Abuses his Rep, replies to his own posts with alts, etc on: August 07, 2016, 08:58:14 PM
Question: "And where did the rules say that freespins don't contribute to the jackpot?" Answer:  The way the progressive jackpot is built is that for every maximum size bet, a percentage of that wager is contributed to the jackpot; however, a "free spin" is a free bet. Therefore, it's a zero wagered spin, and any contributing percentage of a zero wagered spin contributes nothing to the jackpot.  It doesn't need to be stated because it is inherently included in the definitions of the terms "free" and "max."

Mathematical Example (Hyperbole):  Say you bought a ticket from a lottery provider for a 100 bucks so the prize pool becomes 100 bucks.  Now, say that same lottery provider gave a million other tickets, to that same lottery, away for free.  The prize pool is still 100 bucks, but now your chance of winning are a million to one....would that be fair?  The same logic applies to the "freespins" scenario above.  It wouldn't be fair to the progressive jackpot player pool base if non contributing wagers were included in the event because they would change the probability of that event in a negative manner.

In greedygoblins, a betsoft progressive slot, it's implied that the jackpot can be won, but not multiplied during freespins.  If the jackpot could not be won, it would say "Note: Jackpot can not be won during freespins".  Instead it says "Note: Jackpot can not be multiplied".

There are plenty of progressive jackpots that can be won during freespins in games from other providers.  It's ridiculous to assume "it's a freespin so jackpots can not be won" is something players should just "know".  The freespins aren't even technically "free" .  You can't win them without wagering.

Known multi-accounter, liar, DDOS'er, shill, and troll.  Absolutely avoid playing in any poker rooms this player frequents.  Also known to lose all his money on the tables then return to make baseless accusations.  Affiliates and vouches for an advertised thief:

Please provide evidence of me multi-accounting on any site other than to use the forum/chat on Betcoin.

Please provide evidence of me lying about anything.

Please provide evidence of me shilling.

Ok, I've trolled.

Losing all my money?  wtf are you talking about?

Affiliate and vouches for who?  I'm not an affiliate for any site.

Why are you doing this cjmoles?  Just be honest.  I will respond to any accusation or question reasonably.

5484  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Beware] TwitchySeal: Abuses his Rep, replies to his own posts with alts, etc on: August 07, 2016, 08:45:33 PM

That's about a post he posted on the Betcoin.ag thread which he requested not be politicized on this forum.  You can find the post there....Somehow the content of that post was snipped and brought here to be politicized against jasonort's wishes, which unlike TwitchySeal, we should all respect.

You mean to say that

Betcoin.ag has just erased my entire post on their forums.  I gave them every opportunity to explain their side of this.  I did not throw them under the bus.  I was civil.  And now they erase my post and just expect me to disappear?  Game on.

has no relevance whatsoever and you're completely ignoring that? Don't focus on Twitchy's post. Focus on jasonort's post.

They put it back up....they removed it because it was being used to politicize the settlement against jasonort's wishes but they put it back up after his dissatisfaction....They were actually trying to protect jasonort's interests there.  And, I am not ignoring it; I follow all the developments very closely; if you follow the thread of that citation you'll see that I provide my input there also....as far as focusing on Twitchy, I'm trying to stay on topic here.  TwitchySeal, took information that jasonort didn't want to be exposed on this thread and he twisted the facts to meet his agenda....that's all.

They put it back up after several players complained.  They locked the thread so it would not be seen on "recent activity" if players wanted to discuss it.

I shared the information with jasons permission almost two weeks after jason created the thread.

cjmoles, you're a scumbag liar.
5485  Economy / Gambling / Re: #1 RATINGS of SPORTSBOOKS. Please post any payout delays. Input wanted from all. on: August 03, 2016, 08:24:34 PM
Just another example of what I meant : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1570322.0

There are complaints, just not posted as much or got as much publicity as the DB case.

Cloudbet has problems every weekend and it's reflected in their "C" rating. Many of the complaints are posted in this thread. Cloudbet hasn't stolen any money from their players. If I send a PM to Cloudbet they will answer all questions. If asked, they will reply in this thread. All of their problems are with delays.

DirectBet's margins are the highest of all books. DirectBet has stolen funds from 3 different players. They won't show proof of problems and they state that their decision is final. If a book is going to confiscate funds, they need to show solid proof justifying the confiscation.

A major purpose of this thread is to warn players of books that may not pay out. DirectBet's model is set up so that others will lose money in the future.

Betcoin is currently untrusted and had their bid to advertise on this forum rejected by Theymos due to negative reputation.

Beginning this week, members who promote Betcoin will likely receive negative trust for doing so.

Go watch their forum and chat room if you're interested in reading about payout delays and other issues with sportsbook.  Read their trust feedback if you want to know what a scummy site they are in general.

TwitchySeal - You've added a lot of pertinent and useful information to this thread but one question, why did you say that about Theymos? I took a look into your post since you've been critical of Betcoinsports in the past. OgNasty has a trust rating of 290. He joined in 2011 and is part of the Betcoin.ag signature campaign.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=18321

I've denied your accusation.  Please revise your factual assertions about me or explain why they should be considered factual.

I'm still failing to understand how you could think I am abusing my rep.

I will continue to address each and every accusation you make against me.

I am the #1 suspect for ddos attacks that don't have any effect on the site because ajunftd posted skype logs with someone impersonating me in this thread:

https://www.betcoin.ag/twitchyseal-back-it-again-offering-me-help-trash-betcoin-proof-below

Many regular players did not buy this guys story immediately.  Check out the comments and see for yourself.

The OP is the same guy who started this thread a couple weeks ago:

There was no space where there should have been in the images and a "y" missing from my name in the text transcript.

betcoin.ag/twitchyseal-offered-me-money-instagram-lie-about-betcoin

He later admitted in chat that betcoin paid him BTC2 (2,000 chips) to make the post (which was copy/pasted by andrew)

Xiao, will you have a reasonable conversation about this?  Where you address my responses as I have addressed your points?

I never mentioned this user Aftund nor do I hold what he says with validity as he's shown a lot of inconsistencies.  My point is that YOU are unreasonable and irrational with the way you attack, bother, annoy, and troll.  Furthermore you attack people for having connections to your enemy.  You use guerrilla warfare tactics in the forums, which makes you extremely confrontational and disrespectful to those that shouldn't be your enemy.

I'm addressing your accusations directly. In your opinion, what do you think the chances are that I have ever ddos attacked Betcoin?

I understand you don't approve of how I handle whart I consider "serious issues" with Betcoin.  However, most or all of what you've accused my with in this thread I am 100% innocent of.  Furthermore, Betcoin has gone out of their way to fabricate the evidence you are using to attack me with.

I have not fabricated anything.  I have been honest.

Ask me anything reasonable, I will answer it directly.

What is spam?

I honestly try to edit down to only relevant info.

The only reason these issues are all being brought to this thread is because it's the only place Betcoin has any sort of presence.  They delete or lock most threads on their site that criticize them and completely ignore any other thread on this forum.  Their signature campaign is a last resort.  I understand why so many members are upset that they have to choose between a lower paying campaign or receiving neg trust, but tbh I don't really give a fuck.  Money or integrity.  Pick.

Spam is everything that comes from your mouth obviously.

If anyone has any questions about the issues, please ask me or anyone familiar with the world of online poker/gambling to clarify.

Thank you for further confirming my doubts that you are shill account of betcoin.ag competitor.   Lips sealed

Just like Lutpin (manager of crypto-games (or more ?) ) , you are deep into conflict of interests here, and it's obvious from your sick engagement in attack
on particulary betcoin.ag and not any other sites using betsoft software that you have your own personal interest in seeing them being hurt.

Who are you two to force me into anything ?
Who are you to bully me and other betcoin.ag signature campaign members with open threats?

--

I am here 5 fucking years, and i can tell you people that centralization of this forum never was worse then it is now.
Decentralization forum based on centralized trust rating network, my god. This is exactly what created this atmosphere of company shills that lurk around the
forum dealing with DT to top up their trust and to selectively choose in other people's name who's right and who's wrong, and what you should and should not say.

This is school example of extortion, so stop lying to yourself that you're the good guy here, you're not.

I've played over 10 million hands of poker online.

Currently I play on the most regulated sites in the world (in New Jersey) and also at a few skins that offer WPN tournaments.

I was a player on Seals with Clubs from the pond and puddle days but barely play there anymore.

Regulated gaming has a restricted potential that sickens me.

The current state of unregulated gaming sickens me.

I am trying to make change, I have no allegiance to any site, only  to the future of Online Poker and Bitcoin.

I've never asked a single person to trust me.

I'm willing to help any online poker player or gambler as best I can, and I have helped many.

I've started a thread to better the future of Bitcoin Poker https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1504778.0;topicseen

I've called out many scummy casinos, not just Betcoin.

They just posted fake skype conversations of me confessing to ddos their site, but don't "have time" to respond to legitimate issues brought up by players.

I don't know about skype but yesterday 31/7/16 betcoin.ag was attacked by ddos for sure. Now the site is on with Cloudfare security.
That's for true.
But why are you taking this matter this far i think everything has been sorted out already.
Because they are constantly lying.

It's 100% fabricated, and they know it.

1) You're not even a real player; you were banned for TOC violations; you are just a disgruntled lying, shilling, troll.
I am a professional poker player, I was not banned for violating TOC.  I was banned from the forum for re-posting issues after they deleted them from the forum without responding.

My poker account isn't  even banned by the way.  I just can't log in to the forum. Please stop lying about me.

2) The concerns you keep bringing up have been resolved long ago and any mistakes made have been compensated for.
They have compensated some players for some of their mistakes, yes.  Not all players though, and they haven't made any indication that they take these mistakes seriously in the future.

Here are some references for you: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=386266.msg13025707#msg13025707

http://pokerfraudalert.com/forum/showthread.php?11404-Betcoin-ag-Scams-Scandals-and-Shadiness-Galore

3) Their time is better spent on supporting legitimate players than trolls who barrage them with baseless accusations.
I agree, but they aren't doing thatg either.
4) If you spent more time in honest pursuits, then maybe you'd find your life more satisfying.
5) You talk about them posting fake evidence (which was submitted to them by a member of your crew) but you're the king of photo shopping evidence!  LOL
If you want to make an accusation than do it. Are you accusing me of photoshoping that evidence?  Do you think those skype logs are authentic? As far as the ddos attacks do you believe Betcoin or me?

As one of the few who actually play on Betcoin.ag and understand online poker, should be ashamed of yourself.

ashamed of what ?? for promoting the best bitcoin poker site ??
there is no perfect site you and me know that , so yes Betcoin isn't perfect but it's the best btc casino for me
I strongly believe that all btc casinos shouldn't provide Betsoft games , but I see people only attacking Betcoin and the attacks are really overrated
there is a mixtrue of truth and lies
these days I'm not playing that much on Betcoin just because they removed the WPN STTs , but when they get them back Betcoin will officially be my perfect poker room

you have your opinion and I have mine , I will never be ashamed of promoting the site that I had the best gaming experience on it
sorry for my bad English , but I really hope that you got my point

I understand what your saying.  But, just because you think all other Bitcoin casinos are "worse" for you, doesn't mean you have to accept their behavior.

Betsoft issues aside, lets just consider poker.  Many of the following issues were innocent mistakes that could of easily been fixed by simply aknowledging their mistake, apologizing to their players and showing a genuine effort to make change in the future.  Instead they lie, try to cover it up, and then when they see it's not going away they try and twist the story to make themselves out the hero.

They knowingly allow cheaters to play.

They knowingly overcharged players for months and then lied about it.

They knowingly collected over 16 btc for a badbeat jackpot from players who had 0% chance to win it.  (this was prior to Aug 2nd 2015)

They advertise a daily double jackpot now that's impossible to win (they removed the second tournament, and left the promotion up)

They just posted fake skype conversations of me confessing to ddos their site, but don't "have time" to respond to legitimate issues brought up by players.

5498  Other / Meta / Re: I do not endorse any website in my signature.<--Yes You Do! on: July 31, 2016, 05:22:32 PM
Signature campaigns give sites credibility.  So does advertising on this forum through paid ads.  The fact that Theymos denied Betcoin.ag from advertising on this forum is totally relevant information that should be considered when making your own opinion on the situation.  But in the end, we each have our own opinion of the situation and have the right to leave whatever trust we see fit.

Just a small point. Theymos did not accept ads from bitmixer. But Bitmixer's signature campaign is alive and kicking.
The forum did carry ads of Bitcoin Black Friday, which turned out to be a scam.
So we shouldn't be linking everything to the forum's ad policy.

Exactly. What theymos does is his call, not mine & not anybody Else's. Someone is a fan of him ? sure follow him but don't censor others to do it too.

Fortune jack openly lied about their video contest & didn't payed the 50+ btc bonuses but nobody has problems with them. Their campaign runs smoothly too.

'Extorting participants & saying what is acceptable and what is not' is not your right. What duties do you fulfill so you get the rights to say me what is wrong or what is acceptable ? do u pay my taxes ? do u pay my rent ? do u pay forum bills ? do u pay forum taxes ? do you come and speak in the court for me ? updating that fucking signature thread are your Duties ? are you even fucking serious ?

Telling people what I think is or is not acceptable is my right. Trusting or untrusting someone based on their actions is my right.

If you don't like what I think or do, then untrust me.

 Same with Luptin.

Just because more people trust Luptin than me doesn't mean you have to or that he has any more rights than me.

Lutpin could of easily just neg repped all of them immediately.  I suspect (not speaking for him) he didn't because he doesn't want to create drama.

Do you have any relevant questions?

LOL

Bitcoin casino and having a license is no contradiction!

Who are you? Just an affiliate or a partner? Would be amazing if you do not know the terms and conditions about your business:

After getting the license, this page will post all the necessary registration and legal information concerning the management company.

Ahh and by the way, people can not have a legally binding agreement with the name "Fun-Casino". Legally binding agreements are only possible between private persons or legal entities!

You mean to ask, are we going to allow to be bullied by crypto-games affiliates and paid guns ?

I don't think betcoin.ag is a scam and don't plan to allow their competition to force me into anything. Both sides can play threats game.
I speak for myself, tho. Don't know how other people feel.
Nope they can't do a fair threat game at all. If a DT member starts to put negative trust on us, our account will become a waste. Betcoin.AG can't do anything about that. He simply has no power in this forum to threat anyone.
Betcoin could address the issues they've been ignoring and accept responsibility for their actions as any trustworthy site would.
