5542  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Vaccinated vs. Unvaccinated: Guess who is Sicker? on: February 01, 2019, 08:07:56 AM
If this wasn't so sickening, it would be laughable. The media doesn't want to believe, that people's anguish because vaccines harmed their kids, really believe that vaccines could harm their kids.
snip-
That's why I hate my parents by letting me being vaccinated without my consent! Just kidding though but this is on point. Cheesy

I don't know how much time the research about vaccine was invested but I think they also know the risks yet they did not tell it to at least gain their money back they spent in the research. Vaccines could prevent some harder diseases but vaccines are naturally^ chemical and will affect a person's body in a lifetime. Vaccination is something to be scared of since you as a person doesn't even know what are the contents of that specific vaccine. It has to be prevented.
5543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin need Mixer services! on: February 01, 2019, 05:03:32 AM
Well, mixer is a very complex thing to consider in Cryptocurrency because yes, we do understand that it will not be the illegal stuff who will always use this thing and benefit from it and we, also the normal and legal users could benefit with this kind of technology to protect ourselves from the thieves and etch.
But the thing is if the mixer is applied in cryptocurrency, how would the service provider identify or prevent illegal stuff? Or else, they would let those illegal users have the service? If that happens, the authorities would not be able to track the illegals or the service provider would never risk their reputation to let those things happen too. And yes, it's too complicated.
5544  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: about exchanges kyc withdraw! on: February 01, 2019, 04:42:05 AM

Personally, I was a victim in the past as well, was pissed off, but I have to obliged though. Now, I'm very careful before depositing or trading any coins in a exchange and read carefully their TOS.
That is the reason why before entering an exchange or every service, you have to study and read the policy manually and carefully.
You are a victim of their trap they have already planned since then. It's a kind of marketing though. I remember a meme where there is an executive offering a free ride from a hot air balloon. Once you're there flying and you are starting to get crazy in the air and would like to go down, that is the time where they will charge you. Without any choice, you will definitely pay to go back to the ground. It's a perfect analogy. It's a trap, it's a business.
5545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A banking app helped me beat my addiction on: February 01, 2019, 03:59:37 AM
That's a good story right there. Blocks are effective with the will of the customer to let that block happen. Once the agreement is done, blocking someone's gambling transaction is a great idea and will help addicted gamblers to at least save their money. I think Danny got his wake up call when her mother died and started to live a normal life. My family had this history of gambling addiction and my parents did their best to avoid us from that habit.
Gambling will make you depress time over time. Winning and losing in gambling will cause you a big amount of stress and will give you depression. So if I were Danny, I would never try to gamble because I knew how gambling could destroy your life within a second.
5546  Other / Serious discussion / Re: How mass-media manipulated in my country on: February 01, 2019, 12:41:02 AM
snip-
It is not you, it's them. You'll find difficult to accept that because you've probably been trained to blame yourself
It might be mate, well, your country is not alone. In our country, mass media also manipulates people who view them. To be honest, in my country which is the Philippines believe that everything on the TV is correct, accurate and unbiased because it was what they were oriented to. If there was no social media and education. Our people would be forever blind and stupid because of these stupid media. I am very sad for my parents since their era is the most manipulated era of all.

They always argue with the new people about things and those people they are arguing with are the new people with social media and actually witnessed things that happen that media always trying to flip the table. It is so scary how these organizations able to control others mind and influence them to do something they don't like to do if they are aware.
5547  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Using ~snip~ on: January 31, 2019, 06:55:04 PM
Isn't good to look if you quote pyramid quotes, for me snipping is just you've cut the post/reply by giving the response to the idea of an author. I do usually quote the whole content of reply/post without using snip but if there's a sentence/word that I want to emphasize I usually bolded on it to make it clear that I responded the thought of those bolded word/s. Indeed, using ~snip~ is a case to case basis and it depends upon on you how to answer relevant to your quoted pots/reply.
5548  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: length limitation to trust ratings on: January 31, 2019, 04:57:36 PM
Or just showing the two first lines followed by a "view more" button.
Sometimes, it is useful to leave a long feedback .
It would be nice if have a limit 2-3 lines for leaving trust rating, not exceeding by that.

Or newbie accounts will allow to leave trust ratings 1 line only.
And Jr. member to Member rank 1-2 line allowed, it is good?

My guess that trust spammers are a sock puppet on a single person.
5549  Economy / Economics / Re: Will people ditch cash for cryptocurrency? Japan is about to find out on: January 31, 2019, 11:47:37 AM
snip-
Like some said its difficult to imagine japan having a scarcity of payment processing. They're known for being ranked high in terms of average internet speed and traditionally invested heavily in telecom infrastructure, the backbone upon which things like electronic payment are built.
Looks like interesting mate, while reading this thread it feels excites me more than enough that I would love to go to JAPAN and meet these executives. Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group is group of people who do their things exactly what their vision speaks. But as I can see in the thread that they will only use the blockchain technology but not the cryptocurrency itself. I hope that the project will still continue and develop after the Olympics.
5550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: is it possible to store the blockchain in two different hard drives? on: January 31, 2019, 07:51:37 AM
Yes, and I think what you are trying to say is your wallet to be saved in two hard drives. Because of blockchain works simultaneously and just a database. To explain it more clear, blockchain is a database that will link a block into another block. Those blocks would have saved data such as hash, transaction information and so on.
If you are pertaining to saving your blockchain wallet into two hard drives, then that is actually yes. You can save your wallet in both of your two hard drives so if you lose the one, you'll still have an extra driver to have your wallet.
5551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa an untapped cryptocurrency related betting opportunity on: January 31, 2019, 05:04:37 AM
Oh mate, I do understand that you see the potential of cryptocurrency gambling/betting in Africa since they are still at the stage of development. Well, here's what I can tell about it since it's South Africa, I would not recommend anyone to establish a gambling platform there since gambling is I can tell a profitable business that is sustained by the greed of the gamblers. If I were you, I would start to establish a company that will provide jobs from that specific country and at least give them a 0.xxxx01% of GDP/growth of the economy. Sometimes it's not about the money, it's about the vision that is clear to help others.
5552  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kraken rebranding on: January 31, 2019, 04:34:06 AM
Kraken design was really minimal, similar to a web-site from 90'.
But it is a good exchange, really easy to use and trusted.

I think they will do well, even with this rebranding.
I also noticed that mate, well for me, the new brand is interesting since they use a different color than the other financial technology company. I like the way they use a bolder color and it seems fun as well. If I were new to trading and will get into the site of Kraken, I would think that trading is something I can play with and will have fun with. It would get the attention of the people especially the people in the millennial generation and post-millennials. I like the way Kraken also had some effort to rebrand for the consumer's sake. Good job for you Kraken!
5553  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it legal to sell bitcoin for cash ? on: January 31, 2019, 02:26:49 AM
As long there is no law enforcement, it is Okay. Seriously, I don't afraid to post selling BTC for cash on some group.
I don't have experience about the legality but I think the government never track your transaction if you use physical cash.
It depends if your country accepts cryptocurrency mate, the legality of selling bitcoin to cash depends on the country's law about cryptocurrencies as well. In our country, selling bitcoin just like selling an online mmo-rpg currency. You can sell it to anyone who is interested in it but just make sure not to scam the people you have a transaction with and you will have no problem with it. But if you will
do it frequently, make sure to at least register your business in the Department of Trading Industry and get the license to sell your BTC.
5554  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Are Bankers trying to regulate/dominate the Bitcoin Market? on: January 30, 2019, 06:56:39 PM
It's quite interesting topic to discuss. Bankers influence on the total financial world system. Blockchain is something new and bankers have shown their interest to this phenomenon at least talking about it... Anyway, bankers have their strategy about the Bitcoin market and it is not a surprise if they really want to rule this market.
Precisely, well, owning a bank and knowing that this cryptocurrency exists will alarm you so much that you would like to control it instead of destroying it because that is way too impossible. So yes, banks are trying to dominate and control the cryptocurrency market in the way of adapting it and investment more assets to the field, as well.
For example here in the Philippines, the banks partnered with a startup company invested by the silicon valley to operate a block-chain based financial technological application. It means that the people who would like to cash out their money will go to these banks and have a commission/percentage for the fees the person who will withdraw will pay.
5555  Economy / Economics / Re: Perfect example of why governments must hold Bitcoin on: January 30, 2019, 06:32:48 PM
Maybe there's a big reason why the Bank of England denied this guy's withdrawal of gold. Even Bitcoin would not be able to help Maduro on this. Imagine Maduro investing his gold to bitcoin on December 2017 and having it to the present? It would mean a big big loss of profit dude and the government will not afford that kind of loss since they can't even control/manipulate the market that enough. I also think that England listens to US's pieces of advice that will make US benefit.

I remember a movie called "The Aviator" and I saw what's the truth about the old-school executives and government and how they control things and how they decide. It's more of things like this as well where they
are capable of controlling the decision of others in order for them to benefit.
5556  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Monthly minimum wage: ~$82 is that too much to ask? on: January 30, 2019, 05:52:12 PM

Great news for the Nigerian Wink
Maybe because they were able to fool the mass before by giving them a low compensation rate and as your people did not have an option, they were forced to accept the job even if the salary isn't that enough. Maybe the mass protest will help and will be effective since you have mentioned that your country's election is coming up in February.
This issue must be considered and must have the attention of the next candidates to solve. I do understand that Nigeria is one of the richest nations when it comes it economics but the people were fooled by the national administration. You people need to stand up and show them what you want and what you deserve!
5557  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you sell your soul for money ? Isnt it obvious money is the problem tday. on: January 30, 2019, 05:28:21 PM
Pretty much all the actors in hollywood have to get raped and participate in other rituals to be famous.  Basically all the male actors have taken it up the ass by these executives.

there is truth to this shit, even if its not sounding nice

but there are ways to not having to degrade yourselves though.
Sounds like you are right, but here is mine. You have to know that is the real meaning of inner happiness in order to avoid being attracted to the urge of what you consider an ideal rich (too much money). There are different types of rich people to judge. There are lots of people who would like to look rich but the truth is they are full of debts and has no coin in their purse but the people around them see them as rich because of their liability possessions which are very stupid.  You don't need to be rich if you know how to value your life without having a lot of money. Money that would make you eat enough and will give you the freedom to live is enough.
5558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the 1st thing you'll do if you win Megah Moolah's jackpot? on: January 30, 2019, 04:55:52 PM
Mega Moolah set another record with its €18.9 million jackpot in a single spin. If you were the lucky winner of this jackpot, what will you do?
That’s a huge money and its not easy to think properly during that moment, maybe I’ll keep it for a while and think what’s the best thing to do for that money. If you won this kind of money don’t just waste or better to hire some Financial advisor that can guide you but yeah in reality people will keep on gambling some part of the money and of course they will give more money to people.
That is also a good idea mate, well If I were given a chance to win in that first pin I would definitely go ahead and put my 50% money on buying more assets. First of all, I will buy lottery agency branches, will establish some gambling business and traditional. I'll spend the rest on my personal life and live with it. I will establish a corporation that will be the next generation dominator. I will invest in startup companies in fintech especially those who adapted blockchain tech. I will find a way to make that one lucky spin the most worthy fortune spin of all. I will be sure to spend at least the half in the wisest way!
5559  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto reinvestment without withdrawing fiat currency on: January 30, 2019, 04:32:23 PM
There are several ways to reinvest crypto to earn more crypto. Here are some examples:
Breeding: cryptokitties, fishbank, etc.
Resale: openbazaar, landhodler, etc.
Gambling: bitstars, mbit, betcoin and others.

Has anyone had experience with these sites? Are there other examples of reinvestment?
If you want to earn more crypto than the one you are holding then you do not really have any other option but to begin your career as a trader, traders can multiply the amount of coins they are holding in a relative short amount of time but it is not easy, the majority of traders fail and lose their money so before you try to do it take your time and try to find a way to make money in the markets before you trade, if you can do that then you will accomplish your goal of getting more crypto without using fiat in the process.
I've got your point there, Indeed, those given links above are risky to try. Earning more in crypto is not just an easy way, those trading and gambling are very risky you need to manage it well because some of them get lose and failure in that kind of business.
I didn't try that site, I much preferred on investing and holding my crypto assets and wait for the right time when bullish will happens.
Without withdrawing fiat currency is depends on how you control your self not to withdraw into fiat.
5560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Change of strategy on: January 30, 2019, 10:42:21 AM
Each of us as a trader we have preferred strategies which we are convenient to use, but all of them are useless if you don't have skills in analysis and timing. Just analyzed it well which a better coins you are going to pick that profitable in trading and the timing, it is used when the exact time you pick coins. These are a very important thing when you are in trading not only strategies or tools to use.
