5541  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: March 09, 2020, 01:52:33 PM
For the most part no. Bitcoin was sort of created to require no KYC to use it, kinda like cash. The one benifit though would be you're less likely to be involved in a scam project if they require KYC.

There is a big difference in who initiates the KYC. It is one thing when you need to pass this to Binance to participate in the IEO, and what is required by questionable ICO that do not have information about their team members on the site. And they explain this by maintaining the anonymity of team members, but they also require their investors to pass the KYC.

Paper money is one of the things we are always holding and it is also one of the things that has a lot of bacteria because money is being passed from one person to another. So when we hold money, always make sure to wash and clean your hands before touching your face to keep ourselves protected.

This will be another reason for countries to switch to the national digital currency. Paper money has always been and remains a carrier of various infections. And now, after the coronavirus outbreak , this is becoming relevant again. But South Korea and other countries do not yet have a ready solution to this problem.
5543  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries and their own cryptocurrency! on: March 08, 2020, 08:43:13 PM
The truth is that it is not only nation’s that are looking forward to having a cryptocurrency of their own, even organizations/companies will all try to create their own cryptocurrencies/tokens in the future, that means we should be ready for a lot of them. There are banks that have tried to create their own cryptocurrencies, like JP Morgan coin that is still a prototype.

The way I see it, if one bank should release it’s own cryptocurrency and people starts buying it, other banks will also like to do the same. And in areas like real estates, they might create tokens as well that investors can buy, something that shows ownership.

There is nothing in common between the national digital currency issued by the government and other cryptocurrencies. The digital national currency will be backed by state assets , so it will not be as volatile as the rest of the cryptocurrency. But there is a negative side to this - it will be centralized.

Also, this "backing" is questionable, imo. Take Venezuela's Petro, for instance. In the beginning Maduro pledged that is would be be backed by the country's oil and mineral reserves, and that the price of 1 Petro would be always equal to the price of 1 oil barrel. But in reality when people try to liquidate their Petro holdings at the Bank of Venezuela, they receive much less than expected, because those words by Maduro were lies. There's no backing whatsoever.

Each state will provide different support for its national digital currency. This will depend on the country's economic strength. And if the state has a Fiat currency that is highly susceptible to inflationary processes, then all these disadvantages will be transferred to the digital currency.
5544  Economy / Economics / Re: Good news for bitcoin from India, should other countries also follow the suit? on: March 08, 2020, 01:08:20 PM
I read that in India, the Supreme court allowed the use of cryptocurrency. I have never seen such a thing before that the ban on using cryptocurrency in the country was challenged in court. I think this decision is important not only for India, but also for the whole world.

yeah that looks so serious and cool at the same time  . by that , we can see how important cryptocurrency is  .

its important because its also a money anyway . cant we see that when there are frauds cases related to money , it was also being disscused on the court by higher authorities  . so im thinking the same way was happening on crypto or in bitcoin in terms of legality  . if this was great news happening on india then other countries should followed it too  so that many people can get the benefits  .

This was an example of how cryptocurrency exchanges defended the interests of the crypto community for the right of circulation of cryptocurrency in India. The exchanges were the initiators of the lawsuit , which overturned the decree of the Central Bank of India banning the provision of services to crypto companies.
5545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: March 08, 2020, 11:30:36 AM
I remembered that your active before on listing good bounties. Why did you stop the update? I usually search on your list before as you keep detailed and complete list of every bounty that has been introduced here in forum.

I have already written about this before, it took a lot of my time to keep the table up to date. But in addition to working on the table, I had my main job and my family.

Creating such a table requires a lot of knowledge and time. Therefore, such a table cannot be free of charge. But as I understand on the forum very few who are willing to pay for such selection bounty. Therefore, those who started to make such a table, after a while stopped supporting it .

Yes, many prefer to create a website, which is great while it has its own promotions, then it goes to oblivion.
Yes, it's quite some work until such a topic becomes well known. Afterwards the bounty posters and hunters will help out maintaining it. The same happens with the Bitcoin signature campaigns.

And I also don't agree with you on the "table cannot be free of charge" part. If you don't want to move a finger without getting paid on this forum, it's... ugly. I understand that if you would not have a signature campaign you wouldn't have even answered to this thread, right?
Well, this forum is about helping each other. Not necessarily about earning money. That's just a plus.

You do not accept any other opinion than your own. Although I believe that I have more experience in this matter than you. I have done such a free table for 8 months in the past , so I know all the difficulties that are associated with this. So don't blame me for not doing anything for free for this forum. Tell us what you have done useful for bitcointalk yourself .
5546  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] CoronaCash token - Use of Someone Else's Photos on: March 08, 2020, 11:04:14 AM

Edit : The team profile section has been deleted from their website. But will leave this thread for reference.

Accusations related to a fake team member require mandatory site archiving. And now that they've removed their team from the site, you can 't confirm your words.
It is convenient to use such services for archiving: https://web.archive.org/ , http://archive.fo/
I made an archive of their thread on bitcointalk - http://archive.fo/puEdB
5547  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Now Fully Legal in South Korea on: March 07, 2020, 01:05:15 PM
The legalization of cryptocurrency in various countries is very important for the cryptocurrency as a whole. It can be noted that a few days before, the Supreme court of India lifted the ban prohibiting cryptocurrency in the country. And the greater the number of countries will allow cryptocurrency, the faster will be included in everyday use.
5548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: March 07, 2020, 12:32:56 PM
I've read or tried to help build so many such lists I started get sick of them, really. Nobody seems to read them.

Maybe somebody could try to maintain a nicely formatted topic with the "good" bounties.
But at start it will need a lot of work.

Creating such a table requires a lot of knowledge and time. Therefore, such a table cannot be free of charge. But as I understand on the forum very few who are willing to pay for such selection bounty. Therefore, those who started to make such a table, after a while stopped supporting it .
5549  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Any safe project/platform accepting BTC as investment and giving BTC dividends? on: March 07, 2020, 10:58:11 AM
...Why don't you post this place where you invested and are receiving dividends for 35 weeks? why does it have to be by PM?
...

I think this may be related to a referral link. And the OP does not want to violate clause 4 of the forum rules, which provides for a ban on placing a referral link.
The OP does not say how much it receives payments for 35 weeks. Another situation is possible : this project is a Ponzi scheme. Although Ponzi schemes don't work for so long.

5553  Local / Русский (Russian) / Re: Закройте раздел "Политика" on: March 06, 2020, 01:10:43 PM

5554  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be careful with the CoronaCoin on: March 06, 2020, 12:51:35 PM
Lol, it's pretty obvious that this token or whatever is just riding the wave of the Corona virus pandemic.

"Proof of Death"? "Burning coins with each death?"

No one will take this coin seriously, and I do hope that no one will fall for their trick to scam people out of their precious money.

I think that such a token could be created by the government as part of a charity campaign. In this case , everyone who bought such a token would be able to contribute to the fight against the coronavirus. And part of the money collected in this way could go to pay compensation to families in which one of its members died.

Yesterday, Yasenko created this theme for those who want to rent out their signature, avatar, and personal text: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5230631.0 I think you can also add your suggestion to this specialized thread. In any case, it will not be superfluous to promote your service.
5556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum be taking 1st place in 2020? on: March 06, 2020, 11:15:13 AM
I don't feel euphoric about such statements. The fact that the price of Ethereum has recently doubled should be considered against the background of the growth of bitcoin. And over the past month, all the top altcoins have increased in price by 100%.
5557  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency can not replace fiat currency. on: March 06, 2020, 09:54:30 AM
This is true as of now since cryptocurrency is not yet fully adapted and is volatile in nature, it doesn't fit to be used as the main currency. Time will tell whether people will still be using fiat as a currency in the near future or whether if crypto will replace or if not will be an alternative to fiat. Technology is emerging fast we don't know what possible things might happen in the future.
This is true for all points. Cryptocurrency can never replace the traditional national money of states. Yes, she is not capable of this and is not intended for this. Now there is a general global trend of partial crowding out fiat by non-cash payment methods. Therefore, cryptocurrency will make its role in this process. However, in general, state cash will still exist for a very long time.

If we consider the digital national currency , which most countries are currently working on, it should replace Fiat. This is the main task of the government in order to leave control over its financial system. And if we talk about bitcoin, it still needs a lot of time to be in circulation on a par with Fiat.
5558  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you know when to sell on: March 05, 2020, 03:41:37 PM
Since you are currently a student , you will have little time left for trading. I recommend that you leave 2/3 of your deposit on hold, for example bitcoin. This method will help you cover the risks associated with trading. And with the rest of the money, arrange a training session by buying and selling top altcoins.
5559  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can artists earn Bitcoins ? on: March 05, 2020, 02:26:34 PM
I'm an artist i specialize in Oil paintings and also at Digital painting ..
How can i earn Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies as an artist ?

There are many proven ways to earn bitcoins, including trading and mining. You can do this regardless of what your profession is) And if you take into account the fact that you are an artist , there is nothing easier than selling your work for bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. Otherwise, you can sell your paintings for dollars and then exchange them for cryptocurrency.
