Why should it be against the law? And what law? I wouldn't be so sure there is something clear about this, I think we're in a kind of grey zone because doing a bounty you get tokens for free, but then you can make money out of them, so it's hard to say that KYC is necessary or not. |

I think it's even more dangerous than living only trading cryptos since you don't know if they're gonna pay you and/or the project will ever start. Maybe it could be feasible, or worth the risk, in countries where the cost of life isn't high, otherwise would be a huge risk. |

Update: my ETH finally got credited. I sent the deposit from Bitstamp on 26th January and it was eventually credited on 28th Feb. Talking to Huobi support it seems they manually reconcile all smart contract deposits at the end of the following month in which the deposit was made.
Lesson: DO NOT deposit ETH directly to your Huobi account from another exchange account. Instead, convert to LTC or XRP and send it that way. The problem is not Huobi, is the way Bitstamp sends the ETH, which is different from all the other exchanges. Anyway I don't understand why you should change ETH into XRP or LTC, and maybe in the meantime the price changes: you simply send them to your MEW wallet and then to Huobi, you pay only a few cents and 0 risks. |

I would say its impossible to rank up with the new merit system unless you post something really extraordinary, like a guide on how to get free bitcoin or something. People who already ranked up before this of course likes the new merit system since its less people in signature campaings with high ranks which allows them earn more money. So I feel sorry for new members who didn't rank up to at least to full member before all this merit system took place.
I agree with all what you've just wrote. On the paper the idea wasn't bad, but it's not very practical, especially because it's kinda unnatural give merits for a post in this forum... |

Right now I have only approx 0.25bitcoins to invest/trade or do anything with them..I want to split them in good altcoins as well...please advice me what can I do with those which altcoins I can buy and how much I should leave only in bitcoins...

I don't think that the trading would be wise for you, just because you're here asking what to do with something yours. If you had any idea of how to trade you wouldn't be here asking for suggestions. Do some research and invest part of those 0.25 in ICOs and part in altcoins if you don't wanna keep them as BTC. |

You know why people, especially new people, buy XRP? Because it's cheap. That's all. They don't know anything about being centralized, about the supply etc etc, they just buy because they think it could do the same path of BTC, and that's because they just want to buy something and make money. Or at least this is what they think. |

Di contro il tempo speso dai moderatori per cancellare i post inutili ha un valore per i moderatori stessi, quindi se ci sono tanti spammer (nella sezione internazionale) la lotta risulta impari. Come ho spiegato quotando poco fa un mio vecchio post, basterebbe cambiare la forma di "potere" data agli utenti, ovvero invece di premiare, punire. E in quel mondo l'utente che non fa altro che scrivere "good project" beh, dovrà iniziare a farsi nuove mail e account pure mentre dorme perché non durerebbe molto, non finirebbe neanche le campagne che ha iniziato. |

Poi non capisco con quale meritocrazia in generale la gente da il merit, spesso anche se il post è ultile all OP o alla comunity il reward (merit) non viene assegnato.
Perché come ho già spiegato è una cosa innaturale. Uno legge la risposta e poi passa oltre, non sta li a pensare "ah cavolo, questo utente mi ha aiutato più dell'altro, quindi ora vado a cliccare li e decido quanto merit dargli". Anche perché gli sMerit in un certo senso sono preziosi, molta gente di sicuro li darà solamente a chi glieli può ricambiare, dare un merit a un Newbie sarebbe visto come uno spreco. |

Inoltre finchè rimane l'incentivo a scrivere tanto per scrivere (poichè c'è una remunerazione economica dietro) un certo tipo di spam è molto difficile da arginare. Provocazione: a questo punto mettiamo una piccola commissione per poter scrivere un post (come si fa per registrare una transazione nella blockchain) Ma forse non scriverebbe più nessuno ... Dovrei pagare per poter scrivere su un forum? Ma stai scherzando spero  Ma dico, almeno una sorta di filtro automatico antispam che eviti certi post nella sezione internazionale nei quali non si trovano 4 parole corrette in inglese potrebbero metterlo, servirebbe sicuramente meglio alla causa senza la pretesa di essere risolutivo. Forse ancora non è chiaro che lo spam è solo una scusa, tutto sto spam non c'è se non in alcune sezioni e post. Basterebbe semplicemente cancellare messaggi e se ti becco più di qualche volta ti banno e fine (che è il compito che dovrebbero fare i moderatori in genere e come funziona in tutti i forum del mondo in cui sono entrato) se proprio si vuole trovare una soluzione pratica e funzionante.
Il fatto che non si salga di livello non toglie comunque il fatto che io posso postare comunque quanto voglio e partecipare in ogni caso a qualsiasi signature che richiede post o altro.
Riposto un vecchio post che potrebbe essere la soluzione al problema: Sono d'accordo con Host, nel senso che è una cosa un poco innaturale "premiare" i post, non siamo su Facebook qui. Io piuttosto avrei fatto il contrario, invece di incentivare i post costruttivi avrei penalizzato quelli inutili o di spam, come funziona nel mondo reale: non è che se non rubi o uccidi ricevi un premio, se lo fai ne paghi le conseguenze e lo sai, quindi come adattarlo in un forum? Dando voti negativi ai post inutili, e magari dopo 3 o 5 post negativi quel messaggio viene automaticamente nascosto o cancellato, e se un utente è recidivo gli si blocca l'account per 24 ore, poi per 48, poi per 96 e cosi via, ogni volta raddoppia la penalità fino a quando non potrà scrivere per settimane in pratica e avrà un account inutile. Perché a me onestamente girano più le palle a leggere i post inutili piuttosto che essere felice per leggere post costruttivi, quindi sarei più portato a penalizzare piuttosto che premiare. Ovviamente è solo come la vedo io, capisco perfettamente che possiate avere idee diverse, ci mancherebbe |

Ti dico solo che molti anni fa frequentavo un forum di videogiochi, sottolineo videogiochi, quindi era puro cazzeggio, non c'erano di mezzo donazioni, campagne firme etc, si scriveva, si commentava, basta. C'era gente che lo capivi solo da come si poneva che avrebbe fatto di tutto per diventare moderatore. E cosa faceva il moderatore? Nulla di particolare, potevi richiamare e chiudere i topic, basta. Nessuna paga, nessun guadagno, nulla, solo una targhetta rossa sotto il tuo nome e "il potere" di fare qualcosa. Ora prendi questo forum, tutto quello che ci gira attorno e cosa rappresenta nel mondo crypto e immagina come si possa riporre fiducia nella gente. E' semplicemente impensabile. Ovviamente non sono tutti cosi, ma la maggior parte, purtroppo, si. |

ma scusa, per capire, quanti merit ha di base un legendary? perchè da hero mi sembra che ne hai 35 credo.
Dare 20 merit è veramente tanto, anche perchè non è che si possono propriamente scambiare, visto che, ad un certo punto finiscono (tranne per quel numero ristretto di users di cui si è parlato..)
Se un Legendary è anche Merit Source penso che potenzialmente abbia infiniti sMerit, quindi non gli cambia niente darne 1 o 20 alla volta. E se i Merit Source si mettono d'accordo indovina un po' cosa succede  E normalmente i Legendary sono utenti di vecchia data, quindi figurati se non si "conoscono" tra loro e non si fanno favori a vicenda |
