I think @iTradeChips thought that RAIN is dev previous project but as far as I know BOAT was the first and after this one he launched RAIN which indeed was/is a success. I have some questions: I saw in the OP that people with 1 liner posts will be disqualified from the airdrop, but also is stated that your post must be at least 50 char long. I think this can only mean that you are allowed to have some 1 liner posts but not all to be 1 liner. Am I right? Second one: For exemple if I just answer someone question and I don't met the 50 char post I will be disqualified or that post will not count to the 10 minimum post? (let's say that I make 15 posts and 2 are not 50 char long, am I eligible for the distribution?) Thanks!

No not every coin need a Masternode. Opalcoin dont need to jump on the hypetrain lol

Indeed not every coin needs masternode implementation, but in my opinion OPAL needs MN due to low APR intrest of 5%. If this coin had both POW and POS system then the chain was stable enough but with 5% APR there is the risk of miners to quit staking the coin. |

Unfortunately swap lasted for 7 days and now is ended. Another thing was that you couldn't swap any amount of the coins, only from 5500 coins up which i did not understood why dev took this measure. I had left with something like 3000+ CXT coins. Anyway i'm now waiting for the POW to get started. |

Just want to know if there is any other solution to the syncing issue with the wallet. I got discouraged after following the steps and no syncing though I waited for just two hours.
I will suggest if an updated wallet that sync faster on it own can be created to encourage computer novice like me.
It won't matter how updated the wallet is if user error keeps standing in the way. You must have the wallet blocked on your firewall or have an antivirus (aka windows 8+), because it works just fine. Thanks for the reply. I will still try again and check if not blocked by my antivirus. Try PieCoin.conf instead of Piecoin.conf as well. The name of the .conf file is not important. If you are still unable to sync your wallet please follow this steps: -go to Piecoin folder, right click on the Piecoin.exe and create a shortcut; -right click on the shortcut created and click "Properties"; -on the "Target" field add at the end of the path "-conf=Piecoin.conf"; it should look like this: "C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Piecoin\Piecoin-qt.exe -conf=Piecoin.conf" -now run the shortcut. |

I agree the fun, the lure, the joys of Espers was in the fact that mining was easily done and now it's almost non existent. Not sure if that is just because something is broken or if just the nature of the difficulty on the coin it self, made having masternodes will give us that joy back.
True! As far as I know there are some issue with the difficulty retarget system on the chain, dev is workind on fixing it. Also the PoS system is somekind messed up due to this issue. Indeed we need to wait for the fix of POW or the launch of the masternodes but this will happen maybe at the end of the year, masternode implementation I mean. |

While you are bagholding Syscoin, some people are making x2-x5 on ICO coins each week. Look at ICO of 0xProtocol. ICO price was $0.04 and today's price is $0.22. Well, some of us are holding some are selling. I hold because I bought syscoin at 9K+ so i won't sell on a lose, even I must keep them till next year. |

Its not really an announcement but I want to let you know that things are happening in the background for the future of Ultracoin.
We have revived the coin from near death and played with a few small ideas to make UltraCoin more relevant. These things don't really have what it takes to get UTC in the top 10 again. We have to get "ahead of the pack" on technology, utility, relevance and future applications of the ideas that crypto has pioneered. Thats the only way that UltraCoin will survive in the sea of alts and the BTC world.
Our current plan is far more grand than a few new wallets and tweaks - but it will take time and we rely on others developing some groundbreaking technology in the space. Then we rely on them to come on board with UltraCoin and integrate things as UltraCoin developers. Things could go wrong, get delayed or progress may be suspended. Nevertheless thats the path we are on at present and rest assured I will make an "announcement" one way or another just as soon as I can.

Yeah the price has been solid for a while now around the 20+ sats price range. I think it would be good to get Boat listed on Cryptopia as it seems to have more trading volume then Nova and Coinexchange. I'm sure the dev has some Boat funds to get listed on more exchanges? Decided to buy a bag of this because I really enjoy your coins. I'm sure others will meander their way here too.
Welcome to the Boat community and well done on starting a bag of Boat. I also believe that more people will come to Boat once they know that it is the same dev as Rain and if the dev starts working on this coin after he finishes with Rain then will can expect the price to start sky rocketing but right now it looks to be in accumulation phase which is fine by me as it gives us time to buy more and continue to stake/mine. I think some promotions will bring more people on board. And with more adoption the price will climb more. Also the masternode implementation is a must for this coin, wonder if the dev is still arround or what channel he use to keep in touch with the community. |
