After he sold all the coins, made another chain, and swapped (not transparently, i mean on an exchange, but on discord - to cover the total amount swapped) the VSX coins for the XVS coin people bought from him.  )) You don't see the picture. And more than that, he premined 25% more coins "for promotions". Another thing, anyone knws how many coins was swapped? If the answer is yes, just deduct that amount from the 125 mill premined and see what is the amount dev left with (second time). About the "good luck" thing, I think you'll need it. 1. If the project "was created by the community for the community" this means you'll have to make an airdrop or something like this, if you ask for my ESP in exchange of your coin this sounds more like an ICO to me.

Can be a great project but need a little bit more communication i think, and more activity on the social network.  Agree with you. If the dev shows up and he needs a hand, maybe we can help. AS for the exchange i don't think this is a problem, dono why people think exchanges are the problem of a coin value. I know coins which didn't had an exchange and was traded at 1$ + so... this is not the problem. The problem for exeple is the volume, we need to hit coin marketcap, good and free publicity. |

I'd like to know why the developer, who also has plenty of money from RAIN, won't bother to get this listed elsewhere. I'm not going to fund exchanges for this coin knowing he has deep pockets from his other project. At this point I'm starting to feel like BOAT is just an afterthought.
Well Boat was the devs first project and RAIN came afterwards, I think the dev wasn't expecting RAIN to take off like it did and now RAIN most likely takes up all of his time. I do like to see Boat listed on Cryptopia and yes the dev should have the funds to at least get Boat listed on more exchanges because there was a huge pre-mine which now should cover the costs for listing on other exchanges. I read a lot of speculations about a 'pre-mine', I can be clear about this. A pre-mine doesn't have to mean anything yet until you sell it. And if you analyse the sellings of BOAT lately, the last weeks and the amount being mined then it seems plausible that the largest percentage could be sold by them, the miners. So the assumption that the dev must have enough funds to pay for example for Cryptopia, where the entrance fee is currently 7.5+ BTC BTC - $34.800 that is perhaps not even correct... The new website is basically finalized and I'm waiting for an update and confirmation of the dev. When the website URL+block explorer is updated at Coinmarketcap I'm starting a promo campaign to boost attention and let the market cap grow steadily in the upcoming months. True however when Boat hit its peak not long ago the dev could of sold some of the premine coins and paid to get listed on Cryptopia as back then it was a lot cheaper then it is now. I even posted on here saying this but not sure if the dev did it or not. That is the whole idea of the premine as the dev even states this in the OP. Now it seems that it might be too late with Cryptopia as the listing fee is way too high and in my opinion is too much as the BTC will be better spent trying for Bittrex or other big exchanges. The good thing is Boat is already listed on Coinexchange which is now starting to be a big player in the exchanges as one of the biggest with daily volume, I believe even more then Cryptopia now. Indeed coinexchange.io is better than cryptopia, also have more daily volume. The problem of BOAT is not the exchanges, 2-3 exchanges are enough. I know few coins like XRB, BIS who didn't have exchanges for months/years. The problem is the lack of vision, involvement and developement of the project. I don't want to fud I'm a miner and a holder of this, but i don't see any activity in here from the dev. No marketing. No new feature. What is the purpose of this coin in the end? Maybe the dev can find some people and start making a team. He is only one guy running 2 projects. |

Maybe you didn't followed the thread, but they are working to fix of the masternode systwm reward, because now the reward for running amasternode is very very low, it shloul be like 7-8% per year but now is under 1% and i think the PoS system is broken too. |

The AMD miner just hangs on trying to connect and get work. It cranks at full output like its doing work, but no shares are found. Oh well, CPU mining it is!
Maybe you AMD miner is bad configured or the drivers are not good for the HMQ1725 algo, maybe you'll need to downgrade driver. Another issue may be that the miner is too old or have bugs, try to find a newer one. CPU mining is working or what did you ment? |

Wallet keeps freezing (not responding) any idea what would cause this?
The wallet freezes from time to time because is downloading the blockchain and this thing happens with many wallets, especially this is affected by the disk read/write function (that time when the information is written on your HDD). Some times this is happening when a low end CPU is used at it's 100%. |

Well my opinion: Signatum is almost dead because of the dev aproach to mine all coins in like 3 months, big mistake. Here the dev is having another aproach to produce 130 mil coins every year with only PoW system (a good aproach in my opinion even the inflation is high). That being said we will have 130 mill coins after the frst year, 260 mill after year 2 (100%) inflation, 390 mill after 3rd year (50%) inflation, 520 mill after 4th year (33.33%) ...25% after year 5, 20% on year 6th end, 16.66% after 7th year, ... 10% inflation after year 10 when the total supply will be 1.43 billion coins and the inflation will decrease ~1% / year. So i would say if magnatum will be developed further will have a future.

Why Mass dumping right now?  ? I think people are sick of waithing for a fix on the masternode reward system. Now is worthless to run a masternode or even stake the coin. And I also think the increase of the BTC price contributed to tha insane price fall, like in other alts did. The alts market is all red, when BTC rise, alts fall, when BTC drops, alts drop too, i think many alts are doomed. If BTC will hit 10k till the end of this year we will see many alts in LTC market. |

What do you think would be the difference as to why this coin still has low value? For those who invested in RAIN, how long did it took for the coin to reach x10 or x20 value? I am curious as to the difference between these coins.
RAIN, and some others like Growcoin, Truckcoin, Version, and it looks like Kangeroobits, which is a random staking coin like RAIN, have just high enough POS return to not go down with inflation. BOAT's percentage is low enough that there isn't much incentive to stake it, and not much marketing work on it either. Try to get the word out about POS Wallets so more buy and stake and the price goes up. I totally agree with you @paramind22. Tha's why I always said in here that masternodes for BOAT is a must, because the 5% PoS reward will not motivate many poeple to buy and stake this coin. The price of the coin is too that the 5% PoS ROI to be good enough. Is better to mine it withonly one average GPU card and you are above the stake return. |

Also the Dev should better open an twitter account. So they can post news when they have(they dont have to post everyday ) It would be very helpfull Actually this is a good ideea. Twitter is a very good tool for marketing, especially in crypto. Maybe the dev will pick someone for this task (twitter, facebook, reddit) in the upcoming team expansion. Hello there! You can use coin control feature from the wallet. Activate it under Setings->Options->Display Tab. Then go to Send Coins, click on Imputs, check all and send your coins to yourself. (copy your wallet address and send the coins there). The wallet will show only the tx fee and the remark "payment to yourself". Cheers, kiddo! |

I have a long experience is this field and to be honest, this coin was very interesting at the beginning so i decided to invest some time in it.
There are 2 pools, one is run by euroline (bismuth.acc-pool.pw) who looks like a member of this community and the second one is run by maccaspacca (pool.bismuth.online), who is part of the dev team.
This time, i am using 20x i7 rigs.
euroline (bismuth.acc-pool.pw) - I have mined a few coins using this pool, stats are down most of the time and lack of transparency is a big issue. Not to mention that the pool was down 7h+ today.
maccaspacca (pool.bismuth.online) - This pool was tested for a few days, i mined 0.x coins, they say that the pool doesn't have enough "power" to find blocks, even if it's the OFFICIAL one.
SOLO MINING - This coin's lack of documentation is incredible, however, i have made it work and mined 0 blocks.

Are there any consideration for the masternode ammount to be lowered...? It is so expensive to run syscoin masternode today it is out of reach
Well In my opinion 100000 sys for a masternode is OK. At current BTC price is around 15000$ which is not bad. I don't think this is out of reach, if you want to see a masternode coin out of reach go to stratis (aprox 1 million $ / mn). Note: I don't promote stratis, was just an exemple. |

no buy orders at any exchange, so price is now below 1 sat.
Still have been buy orders around the same price on the Alt basemarkets IFLT/ETH, IFLT/LTC, IFLT/MOON (recent price peak 400 sats, 1000 usd volume 10/03/2017), on Novaexchange which are less crowded. A little bit of aggressive selling on a slower day along with the Cryptopia site update with red order books made a little bit of people panic more. We just had another fair volume day with 20,000 usd on 2 sats around 6 days ago before this event happened, so with the scaling down to 80% coming early next month this looks to be a temporary cycle. would you assume to see a big dump once we hit the 80% mark???..... i think people will just be trying to cash out at 1 sat at that point in time....im holding for next year.. i think this could easily hit 10-15 sats Hi! Why do you think people will drop the IFLT coins when the PoS will drop from 800 to 80% APR. There will be less coins mined so less inflation wich means expensive coin. On this page and the previous pages, there are some talks about a "community" fork, whatever that means. I'm only interested in it because if it gives users the same amount of Espers as the original, then it's like another air drop. Can keep it or sell it or trade it.
A group of some big ESP2 investors decided to bail out after the developer just kept lying and start their own project, possibly forking it or at least starting a new project which would give people the ability to swap their ESP. There is supposed to be an update either tomorrow or today. I don't hold any espers but I hold insane (which is a dev related project) at first sight this thing is smelling like a scam to me, because "investors decided to start a new project", OK they are investors but I don't think they are developers too. And even if they are, why would they do this, just to make a good for the other holders, why do they care about others? Second and the big thing which made me wonder about this fork-swap thing is that you can't fork a coin and also make a swap, each espers holder will have the same amount of the forked espers, like Bitcoin Cash. I'm not supporting neither the original espers neither the forked coin, just think twice before you make this swap. Cheers! |
