Considering that Stratis is also in CryptoBE, Electra getting the most views there is quite an achievement. I am aware there are concerns that I am posting less frequently. As Electra is working properly at the moment there is less need to do so. Also, note that I am only able to fully work on the project during weekends but despite this have achieved all of Electra's short-term goals. The immediate goal is still the same: get into an exchange where Electra can be bought and sold with fiat currency. I am in contact with a person who has successfully listed his own altcoin into Chinese exchanges who I believe can help speed up this process. Stay patient, I am fully determined to achieve this goal.

Yes masternodes might be a great feature for this coin as Rain is already like a masternode coin with its random staking rewards being as good as a masternode. And yes if the dev does implement masternodes here we will see the price shoot up for sure as the price is pretty cheap at the moment.
Yes, waiting for dev opinion about this! I actually think he will be open to the idea as it seems like he might implement masternodes for Rain. I actually think Rain should remain as it is and have masternodes for Boat instead but we shall see what he decides for both his coins. On another note, I loaded up on some more Boat today as I want to accumulate as many as I can for the future, in case masternodes are implemented here. I think the same, implementing masternodes for boat is better due to 5% APR, Rain is good as it is now. If the dev does implement masternodes for Boat I'm expecting that a masternode would be around 100k Boat coins so that is why I am accumulating as many as I can in case the dev decides to go down this path. It could even be more so I will continue to mine, stake and accumulate while we see what happens here. Same here, i'm mining but no staking due to low 5% maybe if masternodes will be implemented i'll run one. I think a good is the best option after POW will end. Because people will no longer stake for 5% to support the network. |

New to Espers but I plan to begin staking this. I like the wallet interface as well.
Questions:
1. For those currently staking. how many ESP2 would you recommend as a PoS start? I'm planning to acquire 200K ESP2 as staking start.
2. What would be the staking reward for 200K and estimate when I get staking reward - 24 hrs, 48 hrs or 72 hrs

I would recommend as much as posible, with 200k esp you won't stake at all, now PoS isn't working good. I'm staking10 millions and no stake for 1 week + Oh wow! The difficulty is that high already! With your 10million, did you just recently stake (less than 2 weeks) or have been staking for more than 2 weeks now? Thanks for the info. Much appreciated. Welcome! Aclualy I stake 17.5 mill and reward, I don't know if diff is too hight or not but low wallets can't stake or stake very hard now. Dev is working to fix this. Hmmm.. this is strange, i stake more then 50 millions ECA but i get aprox 65-75k every 2 days which is not 50%/yr.
Well, the System seems to have a bias to slow rewarding down... When a wallet has accumulated sufficient staking weight to get the next block, the preference seems to go to the input with the lowest reward, as long as this input can still be split in 2 outputs..(that is: has coin age below somwhere between >11 and <12 days). Small rewards keep the weight of the staking wallet high, so allowing for higher staking frequenzy - and smaller inputs require more blocks.. But probably this has gone a bit to far.. IF - and only IF - the observed possibility to auto-merge inputs upon reward only considers maturity (and not only applies to very small inputs), this should iron out eventually... But probably somwhere around an average maturity of 25 days.. Thanks for the detailed answer! I'll try to split my coins in 2-3 chunks to see what happens. I have my Electra coins split up in 1 million coin blocks. Coin splitting is extremely key to getting all your rewards. No, there is no such happening, what is nobt wallet version you are using/OS? v1.1.0.0-g32a928e on Windows 10 x64 oh, here is your issue, nobt wallet running only on any Windows x32. you will need to install VirtualBox-5.1.22-115126-Win and setup any Win version with 32 bit. and you good to go with any coins wallet. Thanks for the tip. I forked but now managed to get it good coz I have deleted the hole NOBT folder and did a sync from scratch, now is all good. nobt wallet will working on both Windows x32 as well as Windows x64 This is good news, nice to see the developement of this coin going forward. I hold some BTW I dont find NOBT coin on coinmarketcap, why is not there yet? We had submitted NOBT to coinmarketcap many times, awaiting the response. Why RAIN is too much higher than BOAT ?   Why is ETH higher than Monero? The market decides what it decides. That's right, however why I think Rain is higher then Boat is because Rain offers more rewards when it comes to staking as they are random unlike Boat where it is 5% per year. Both are great coins but I would also prefer Rain over Boat, I own both coins and because I missed out mining Rain that is why I decided to get into Boat because there is still time to mine up to block 700k and we are still a while off that. I think will be a nice solution for BOAT to implement masternodes because of low 5% APR, indeed is good for inflation, but with mn implementation will awake more intrest to "stake" the coin, also will pull out some coins from circulation and this means the price can go only up.
