561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China just killed the ICO market. Which ones are Chinese? on: September 04, 2017, 12:55:31 PM
This has no effect on coins that already completed ICO. Just hold and buy more at these low prices.
562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next 100x coin on Bittrex on: September 04, 2017, 01:51:12 AM
A little bit off topic. But still, why does bittrex not listing any new coins? Is there any official info?

Take it with a grain of salt, but there was a rumor they will add some new coins in the next few days. We'll see
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [WTC] waltonchain on: September 04, 2017, 12:09:31 AM
Well, we are mooning.

Mark my words Walton is going to be huge.

Reasonable t o buy right now at almost 3$ ?
I'm afraid buying the pump, and lose a lot if it dumps quickly !

It a matter of time before Bittrex picks this up for trading, as well as other exchanges, so the price will continue to climb as it gets more exposure.
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: September 03, 2017, 07:16:54 PM
According to UPS my 4 miners should be here Tuesday!!!!

Congrats! What batch were your orders from? Last I heard they were shipping a few weeks earlier than expected, which I am definitely hoping for. Sept 21-30 batch for me.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / YOYOW- Chinese version of STEEM. Thoughts? on: September 03, 2017, 07:05:49 PM
Title says it all. Anyone have insight to YOYOW? Most of the info I could find was in Chinese, but I do like the STEEM concept and if it gets traction in China it could be huge. Recently added to coinmarketcap, and trading on Binance among a few others.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ann]YOYOW-You Own Your Own Words-A media content producing and sharing platform on: September 03, 2017, 05:58:31 PM
Any thoughts on this coin? Just listed on coinmarketcap and is trading on Binance and looks like its starting to rise. Chinese version of STEEM. Worth investing?
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WaltonChain WTC on: September 03, 2017, 05:07:20 PM
just got into this thread. what are your thoughts on Walton before I buy in

I think it would be a good buy a week from now after the conference chatter dies down and before Bittrex decides to list this for trade. Hoping to get more of this around .0003 or lower
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WaltonChain WTC on: September 03, 2017, 05:05:41 PM
is there a official wallet?

I believe the official wallet is due March 2018. There was a post earlier with the roadmap that detailed it, as well as other milestones.
569  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Turn $10,000 into 1 Million on: September 02, 2017, 11:38:19 PM
Hey HR, any thoughts on BTS and SYS? They have been in your portfolio for a while. I thought both were going to break higher before the whole market dumped last night. Do you have a longer term view for these two?
About Syscoin, I think this coin do have future and dump to the hell is possible.
I remember devs of Syscoin are give up it and do not work in a time, maybe until today.

I'm of the same belief, just making sure I wasn't the only one. I think this will be a good month for SYS. HODL!

571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PTC][New Thread] PesetaCoin | Spain | Bittrex - NovaExchange + 3 on: September 01, 2017, 02:18:02 PM
Hey all, this is an interesting project. Is there any support from the Spanish government? Maybe an official endorsement of PTC as a valid currency? With possible troubles in the EU ahead, I decided to buy some as a hedge.
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Syscoin: Masternodes coming soon(just announced), Moon shot imminent. on: September 01, 2017, 12:18:35 PM
I like the 'master nodes' angle in this play.  Wasn't Dash pumped to over 100 USD because of the users wanting to set up a master node?

Anyway, what other cryptocurrencies are planning on releasing their own implentation of master nodes?

I know details haven't been released, but how many SYS coins would you need for a master node? 100k?
573  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Turn $10,000 into 1 Million on: August 31, 2017, 11:50:56 PM

GRS is running. I've sold 3 more allotments for .0004100, .00004960 and .00006150.

Only have 1/6 of the original buy left.

Good example of a short term scalp that worked out in not too much time (but it was days nonetheless). Hope it's not the beginning of something bigger, but if it is, there will be pullbacks to buy - between you an me though, I'm not holding my breath.  Wink

Made a 45% gain and still have 3000 plus GRS left to [probably] sell on the reaction rally to that really ugly 1 hour candle that just closed. Think I'll set it around .00005300. Nah, going to get greedy and ask .00005500. That'll bring it up to an 80% gain. Nice scalp. Cool

Let's see if I get it.

BTW, if I thought we were in a more bullish environment, I would be going for much more.

Were your sales pre-planned at the .0004100, .00004960 and .00006150 levels? Or did you set it as the rally went along?
574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The OFFICIAL SegWit Activation Thread on: August 30, 2017, 11:35:12 PM
Bitcoin is truly becoming the gold standard. That isn't necessarily a good or bad thing.

If cryptocurrency is to gain mainstream appeal and usage then BTC isn't going to make that happen when fees are ridiculous for small daily type transactions. Im not sure what the currency will be that allows this to happen (LTC? BCH? a million other possibilities?), but BTC is heading towards a future of being locked in a vault and passed down to grandchildren. Years and years from now the value will go very high, and then it will go very low once people truly question why BTC has any value and the only ones left with it are hoarders.
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Potential x50-x100 coins let's discuss which one we think on: August 30, 2017, 09:37:19 PM
My vote is Groestlcoin (GRS) for the next 50x-100x coin. Incredible dev team, great technology (1st Segwit ever), easy to mine, capped currency.

Additionally, there has been a lot of buying of coins that are focused on privacy, and I think GRS is primed to rise massively because of that in addition to the other above factors.
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Syscoin: Professional Development / Extremely Undervalued. Perfect Entry. on: August 30, 2017, 05:58:46 PM
Roadmap through the end of the year with masternodes seems pretty awesome. Anyone planning on just holding till then?
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: August 29, 2017, 12:37:34 AM
No Bitcoin is the real chain.

One is BITCOIN
One is Bitcoin Cash (a new altcoin, not the REAL BTC)

The Forks that Survives is the Real Bitcoin , and the survivor will be Bitcoin Cash.

Plus on segwitcoin , if everything goes to G.Maxwell's plan, you will only use LN ,
You won't be able to afford Onchain transactions, Offchain transactions are not bitcoin , only Onchain.

╥Aztek

To simplify things, they are all going to exist, however, there might be major n minor chain of bitcoin. With miners hopping between chain, its fluctuations like crazy. There is no unity.

I really think it will start a new wave of coins that are built to challenge the chain leaders. Look for a Scrypt coin to overtake LTC, or an X11 to take over Dash. We already see a lot of chain jumping among miners on those algos, and once they get smart and implement an EDA similar to BCH they will grow.
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: August 28, 2017, 04:57:49 PM
I really like the direction that the difficulty is going now. It has been oscillating the past few weeks between super high and super low which caused problems for everyone, but now we are settling on a difficulty that is getting close to the target of 10min/block:

http://bch.xbt.it/?interval=10

If this remains stable for the next regular re-target at block #485856 we should see minimal difficulty changes (compared to what we have already seen) and both BTC and BCH will be able to have a stable trajectory of mining hash rate.
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The OFFICIAL SegWit Activation Thread on: August 25, 2017, 05:55:21 PM
Guys, I'm really not the most technically savvy person in the room, but when does the mempool buildup and increasing transaction fees really become a serious problem? Is there an end in sight for this escalation? I don't want to see some sort of black swan event where BTC implodes, but to the uneducated noob cryptocurrency follower it doesn't look good.
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: August 25, 2017, 05:42:34 PM
Smartest Choice is not to use segwitcoin at all.
Because it can't handle the job.

Segwitcoin 71001 Unconfirmed Transactions

╥Aztek

this number increases rapidly and is now more than 74,000

presently 95,030 and increasing

Damn again i see this ...

Warning: Unknown block versions being mined! It's possible unknown rules are in effect

also my transaction stuck from 8 hours  Undecided  do i need to pay more free from now on ?  Cry

We're quickly approaching a point where BTC is effectively unusable and stuck in place. What value does a commodity have if it isn't transferable? I'll give you my BTC in 60hrs or I'll give you my BCH right now.
