I personally close all of my bounty threads after a couple weeks following completion, there is no reason to keep the bounty thread open, but I suspect that many users on here are not actually aware that you can close your own threads. To be honest, it took me longer than it probably should have to realize we could lock/unlock our own threads.

I actually use cryptocurrency because it is much cheaper than receiving paypal for the services I offer. Currently Paypal charge a 3.4% (+ £0.020) fee I believe on all incoming payments. Cryptocurrency payments have a much lower fee, typically under 1% for the transaction fee. However, if Paypal reduced their fees to match, I would probably switch back since it's a lot easier to handle and track.

I've invested in probably a dozen ICOs but have never been scammed, you can usually see from a mile away whether a project has scammy tendencies, the first things I look out for are;
1. Does the smart contract have an autorefund feature if soft cap isn't met? 2. Is the team publicly available? Can they be reached and do they have a track record of success? 3. How are they advertising their project? Some ways are more suspicious than other (e.g. Guerilla marketing).

It's all because they have reached the required minimum activity for Legendary, but since ranking up to Legendary is on a random basis (between 775-1030 activity), they got the merit.
So pretty much any hero with more than 775 activity was airdropped 1,000 merit? Doesn't really seem fair, since they haven't actually met their true requirement for legendary, only one small fraction of it (the activity part).

Personally I believe that bounty managers should do their due diligence before launching the bounty for an ICO. If a project has no team, then they better have an amazing explanation for it, as this is one of the surest signs of an impending scam. Ideally, the bounty manager would read through the whitepaper and see how viable the project is before taking on the bounty, as nobody likes participating in failing projects.

Are you on drugs? You want to hire a whitepaper writer and pay them AFTER your ICO? I see you are also looking for a blockchain developer and offering them the same terms.
I really hope nobody wastes their time with this, the idea is the least important part of any plan, and you are acting like you are in a privileged position, offering people an opportunity to work for free. Any project without a significant marketing budget WILL fail in this market. Since you can't even afford to pay your writers, developers and probably your other team members, then your project is the lowest of the low on the pecking order.
Parasite, get the hell out.

Most newbies on this forum do not contribute anything of value, that is the sad truth of the matter. It is genuinely rare to spot a high quality newbie, simply because they are completely buried betwixt all the bounty spammers and shill posters that plague the forum. I think it's a case of painting them all with the same brush unfortunately, as it's gotten so bad that we can almost assume that every newbie we will see is shitposter of one variety or another.

Hello, is there a free space for my rank?
Instead of asking here and posting irrelevant questions, why don't you just check the spreadsheet in OP and see for yourself if there's any slot for your rank. That will save further effort for everyone of us here. Your rank is Legendary and you ask questions like this. Yes cause I see other people apply. I checked spreadsheet and I saw the list, but I asked anyway, why to not be direct? Oh, wait, what? Don't know if I'm missing something here. I'm talking to iv4n as you can see in the quote, right? And out of nowhere, Barbut is replying to my post? Does this mean that iv4n is one of your alternative accounts? Looks like you're correct! Extremely similar posting styles and both accounts even have the same incorrect usage of the apostrophe, instead using an open quote rather than an apostrophe. Loool, busted... https://imgur.com/a/cmpulLcPretty sure there's no rule against it, but come on bro at least be a little more intelligent than that.

Allowing people to delete their own threads would lead to a massive increase in scams, as people could simply create a thread, scam somebody, then delete all the evidence. That being said, I doubt that is the rationale behind the move as completely obvious scam threads are allowed to persist in the marketplace section. The likely reason is simply due to user restrictions, each user rank needs to have more power than the one above it, whereas abilities like deleting threads is a task reserved for moderators and above, if everybody can do it, what makes moderators special?

This isn't the first time that XRP has overtaken ETH, it also happened a few days ago just before the price dropped 5%, however the move is only going to be temporary as ETH always ends up retaking its number 2 position after several days. Personally, I find XRP to be overhyped, and ETH to be under appreciated, in time we will see the true pecking order.

I think that the rules should be as strict as they possibly can to limit the number of fake applicants, not only does this completely dilute the reward pool reducing the incentives for high quality to users to participate, but it also wastes the bounty managers' time to no end. I also think that KYC would be the ultimate solution to this problem, but many bounty hunters have a negative stance against it.

what is $21 after all nothing when they can gamble so much here and there and it is not so easy jokes to give so much like that, some money is great for giving but for free so much is no meaning
Based on the fact you can barely string a sentence together, why would we trust your market analysis?
