561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or ETH in 2018 on: January 26, 2018, 11:09:18 AM
Bitcoin or Ethereum, Which of these coins will rule in 2018?

BTC will be still on the leading position with price and capital amount, but ETH will grow and will bring more benefit, so I am for ETH.

As I see it, Ethereum will offer something very new, also the new forks of ETH will take place, and it will get the better positions increasing its capitalization. However, Bitcoin will stay on it first place. At least this 2018 year.
562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin expense problem on: January 26, 2018, 11:05:06 AM
At the current stage of the Bitcoin development many things have been analyzed that look for a solution, such as scalability problems or transaction speed.
I apologize for the noobism but I would like to know this thing:

To date, if I bought Bitcoin, it, in what can I spend it?
Only to buy altcoin or participate in ICO? Or spend them in the few services that offer it? What is the current situation?

Thank you,
r00

Many people (if not the majority) really use Bitcoin as the coolest stuff for making investments. Bitcoin fans believe that this coin will grow and bring huge profit.

It will do it, sure, but you can use BTC for other things: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ixhnBB_iCA (Where To Spend Your Bitcoin - Top 5 Places Online)
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good cryptoexchange? on: January 21, 2018, 12:44:52 PM
Does anyone know a good exchange with a big variety of altcoins? Important detail though: no ID-verification, since I don't feel comfortable sending them a picture of my passport. Any suggestions are welcome.

Today many exchanges support a variety of altcoins, not only Bitcoin and Ethereum as the most popular cryptos. Here is the good information for you: https://www.bitpremier.com/best-exchanges. Also watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bC8LX7hST5g
564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is garbage. on: January 21, 2018, 12:39:48 PM
A lot of people who have been earning really good (!) money on Bitcoin will never agree with your strange statement. Of course, to get profit from BTC you must consider all the facts – have enough information about crypto market, know the rates statistics well, use good exchangers, etc.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's the best altcoin? on: January 21, 2018, 12:39:03 PM
I guess ethereum

It is not easy to answer this question and mention only one altcoin. Just check the statistics and decide it yourself. The facts say that the best ones are IOTA, Ripple, DASH and Ethereum. I am for NEO and Cardano as well!
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Altcoins Survive on: January 21, 2018, 02:05:17 AM
Altcoins will survive as long as there are investors that are willing to invest in altcoins. There are so many altcoins that are very promising so altcoins will last a very long time.

I believe in the greatest future of blockchain technology and I am sure many great altcoins will not only survive, but grow sufficiently and offer new possibilities. Look at Ethereum, NEO, DASH — they will be leaders in my opinion!
567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm gonna sell my house on: January 21, 2018, 02:03:04 AM
Never ever borrow money or sell something (especially your house or any other real estate) to buy Bitcoins or any other cryptocurrency. The market of crypto is volatile, and even experts cannot foresee its fall (if it happens). Try using alternative ways to get BTC (mining, for instance).
568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What encourages you to invest in any altcoin? on: January 19, 2018, 11:20:57 AM
I am a crypto enthusiastic and i know a 90% of people here on bitcointalk are as well.
There are a lot of altcoins in the market today. What should one look out for before investing in any altcoin

Now low prices are encourage me to invest in almost any cryptocurrency that it is possible to meet. I think it is best time to buy as much as possible coins. The cryptomarket will recover inevitably.
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'll never buy Bitcoin cash on: January 19, 2018, 10:56:32 AM
Ever, fuck you guys! Smiley

And I hope you realize as soon as Bitcoin cash fails to overthrow Bitcoin in this insane attack. It's going to get beat back down so hard.

*sorry for the low quality post.

Most of the cryptocurrencies are falling now, not only Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash. Be patient the situation should be stabilized and we’ll see what currencies really worth to invest. Now it is better to invest in ETH or XRP.
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to the crypto market after five years? on: January 19, 2018, 10:52:33 AM
Crypto market is gaining day by day.If we look back before 1 year it has grown a lot for a one year. What would happen to it in next 5 years? How much market cap it could achieve?.Please give your ideas...

After 5 years we clearly will see graduation in the community of cryptocurrencies. There will be coins on the leadership positions with high liquidity, low volatility and stable prices. And there will be also currencies that are fresh without such characteristics.
571  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2018 is death of bitcoin? on: January 19, 2018, 10:51:31 AM
i think its same question in 2014 2015 when price at $900+ drop to $300 .
but its not the end . otherwise its the opposite . bitcoin still going up . maybe $15k its high enough for bitcoin for this year . but i believe bitcoin had potential more than current price right know.

I think it's too early to panic. Even if the price of Bitcoin continues to decline, this will not be death. We will simply see a lower price.  Huh
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why all this hype arround ripple ? on: January 19, 2018, 10:35:02 AM
Hello guys , why there is this big hype arround ripple (xrp) .. after reading all arround i might be wrong but im sure of certain things :

*When you read that over 100 billion XRPs the creators are holding 61% .. where is the spirit of the decentralised coins ?

*With this big number in supply .. its impossible to see Xrp crossing the bar of the 5$ - 6$ at least this year ..

But whats crazy to me , how people are denfending the coins they invested in ( their right .. ) but they really dont care about whats really matters behind all this crypto era .. if anyone had any idea to help me understand it more i will be thankful .

Regards

Ripple is going down as most of the cryptocurrencies. Of course this currency has great potential but its realizationis in a future. Be patient and wait this is our strategy for now. I’d like to buy some Ripple coins because they are cheap.
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron (TRX) I missed the opportunity.. sad... on: January 19, 2018, 10:31:48 AM
TRX rises unbelievably, What a golden opportunity I missed? damn .. Why I missed it? I didn't see any discussion about TRX before, Otherwise I could have invested in it earlier when it is cheap. now it is $.15. My bad... Cry Cry
Can you please senior experienced guys tell me how to avoid this type of golden opportunity at least next time? I didn't see anyone talking about this coin on Twitter or facebook until 3,4 days before, shit..  pls fix my heart guys

For yesterday Tron has started its rise again. We’ll see how it will be further. I actually don’t believe to much in this coin. I wouldn’t invest in it. There are many more stable coins than TRX with its falls.
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoins for 2-3 years holding! on: January 19, 2018, 07:35:20 AM
Hey guys, I wanna hold some alts for 2-3 years. Can you advise me some? I am thinking about Bitquance, XVG, OMG, NEO....anything else?

The best altcoins to hold for some years are Ripple and Ethereum. No news here of course. It is better to start buying this coins. This is good time to purchase undervalued coins. They will rise. All know about it.
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoins You Bought On This Dip on: January 19, 2018, 07:29:44 AM
I personally missed this opportunity because of bitcoin network. its been almost three days now my transaction isn't getting confirmed yet! i had sent transaction on 16 jan (7 am) but it's still not confirming!

Buy ethereum, monero, dash, wings, snovio. Also bitcoin 30%. And I waiting when Asia new year will past and everything start to rise!
576  Economy / Speculation / Re: opinions on downward trend on: January 19, 2018, 07:25:58 AM
Buy in is my opinion and suggestion to other users, this is what i did few hours ago, now i am seeing some of altcoin and bitcoin was already increasing its value and i am happy with the result of my decision.

This moment is not late to invest, buy bitcoin now until the value are not yet reaching 12000 dollars.

Of course, there is a downward trend. But while I remain calm, I will start to worry when the price of Bitcoin goes below 10,000 dollars.
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of my portfolio on: January 19, 2018, 07:24:20 AM
My portfolio consist of matchpool, ripple, viberate, elastic, cardano, enigma, myriad, district0x, ardor, lomocoin, steem, power ledger, adtoken, musicoin, mothership, spectre coin, oyster pearl, electronuemon, monetha, genesis vision, bread, wabi, cindicator, sonm, and oax. Is there any coins in here that are not worth keeping that have no potential? Thank you guys! I love second opinions

There is so much different coins in your portfolio. I suppose that it is hard to operate all of them, isn’t it. Some of coins I have too, about the others I don’t even heard. Where did you get them!
578  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin now slowly drop should i sell? on: January 15, 2018, 09:56:53 AM
Bitcoin now drop for a while should I sell this or hold what should I do?
I have huge btc in my wallet.
Please share your opinion about this.

I don’t believe to the enemies of Bitcoin. They talk that BTC will crash almost fully. This is just a provocation. I don’t want to sell my bitcoins. It wouldn’t crash at least in a near future.
579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trx to my funeral on: January 15, 2018, 09:20:04 AM
When I die, I'd like to invite Trx to my funeral so that it can let me down for one last time

Yeah there are many experienced guys who predict a big future for this coin. Now it is looking like we all were just fools. Ok don’t be so worried. On cryptomarket a lot of other cryptocurrencies exist.
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Bitcoin phone scams happening? on: January 15, 2018, 09:16:17 AM
I've heard that Bitcoin phone scams are making their way around. The scams supposedly call and ask you to pay debts or IRS taxes with an alternate cryptocurrency/Bitcoin while others try to get you to "invest" in a fake coin. The main thing is they seem to be targeting people over the phone.

Has this actually happened to anyone?

I first heard about this kind of fraud. I think many want to get money in an easy way until the crypto currency is accepted by many states. But how do they know my phone number?
