561  Economy / Economics / Re: I lost my job, how about you guys? on: January 05, 2021, 10:41:22 PM
I'm still mourning for my lost literally  Grin Angry
To be sincere, it's difficult to move on even when expert told you to let go of the past loss. Well, this year is 2021 and things are already getting back to normal and I hope things fall into place and continue how it has been and I hope we all recover globally from the pandemic brouhaha.

If I have a CM job, I will accept it as it will be every small to manage with my other daily activities.
562  Economy / Economics / Re: which will u choose to buy on: January 05, 2021, 10:34:06 PM
If I have a million dollar dream, car is nice but an investment would be nicer. Shiny things like cars and jewelry don’t appreciate but crypto investments could grow naturally over the time, that million dollar investment could change your life in the near future and could buy you not just a Ferrari but could also help you have a good future.

What about buying shiny things like metal such as Gold, you can use them and sell them whenever you don't value them again. Real gold don't loose their value since they can be reform into another shape and size and resize into different object.
Why crypto has been unique from this metala is because of it's volatility, they can easily pump and can as well dump. I wish the traditional system can work the same the but the system has made us believe that traditional don't work that way. Though, technically and fundamental it's false, we all seen how they were volatile during pandemic.

564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We can reduce our chances of loss on: January 04, 2021, 08:16:16 PM
If not for the pandemic crisis that affected the financial system, I don't think many will get moat of those cheap coins at such prices. Some were even scared that bitcoin and others are going to zero in value but see it went and play out.
Actually, it will be difficult to get those bitcoin very cheap like before except we experience something worse than before. We hope and pray it doesn't happen. Though, buying top 10 tokens is a nice recommendation but remember they can be easy replace by other altcoins. It's necessary you do a proper research about what you want to buy before you venture into them.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: shitcoins will tell you all kinds of lies just to get pumped (Dash) on: January 04, 2021, 08:10:37 PM
I still don't get why some noobs get into this wasted coins without direction even when they are been delisted from reputable exchanges.
Why some many investors prefer this coins is because of their privacy and anonymity they provide to people when making a transaction.
The strategy is a normal thing in crypto, they can shill the hell out of a project, they will even go to some extent to say it's either replacing bitcoin or its doing this than Ethereum.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoin would you Buy now and Why? on: January 04, 2021, 08:06:28 PM
Buying altcoins is kinda scary for me because of bitcoin growth. I hope any news don't fundamentally affect the market because I know it's going to be deadly just as what happens today.
US stock seems to be affecting the whole growth and seeing dump of BTC with a - 10% decrease and Ethereum 17% decrease is frightening.

568  Economy / Economics / Re: Some Company are holding more than 10000 Bitcoin on: January 02, 2021, 09:15:14 PM
I had no idea about Grayscale holding a substantial huge amount of coins and they can control the market price with ease with the amount of coins they are holding. The Tezos foundation is the company that owns Tezos i assume and block one is the company that owns EOS if i am not mistaken, but what i did not understand is MT GOX kk, i thought they liquidated all the coins.

At some point in the future, those bitcoin will become liquid, they are institutional investors and hence they will definitely need their capital and profits when it's necessary. Thank goodness, bitcoin network is transparent and pseudonym in nature as all transactions can be trace from wallet to wallet.
As soon as institutions start moving their bags, this market wouldn't be funny.
569  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin ever succeed as a currency on: January 02, 2021, 09:00:49 PM
OMG!  Shocked Shocked Shocked
First time I stumbled upon an account that was registered in 2011, if you have been active or reader, you should be really familiar with Satoshi and early life of bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Newbie with an avatar  Roll Eyes

Back to your topic @OP, it's still early to say anything about the success of bitcoin as currency, there were so many uncalculated events that happen in the past that made bitcoin to make lows of price, but institutional are playing there card right now, we can't say how long this will continue and correction.
570  Economy / Economics / Re: We, bitcoiners, should buy a bank on: January 02, 2021, 08:55:16 PM

I still see many people being puzzled by BTC, saying it's a bubble, that it's going to crash, etc...
Taking advantage of the huge price rise, I think some early believers should team and buy an existing bank. Not Barclays, nor JP Morgan of course, but there are small banks out there. Imagine a bank owned by bitcoiners, for bitcoiners. It would become an exchange, and it would be the best exchange in the world with the full ability to make Swift and SEPA transfers without the need to use the service of a third party.

And what shall we call this your bank? Are you saying purchasing banks like micro finance banks? That's the only thing bank I possibly think a bitcoiners can buy at this particular point in time except they have so huge amount of money, beside it's not all of them that will be willing to sell out their BTC to get a bank.
Why even buy a bank (centralized and corrupt environment) when one can set up a crypto exchange perhaps physical exchange in my opinion.
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins will do best in 2021? on: January 01, 2021, 04:11:55 PM
I still think altcoins season comes most the period when there is a trend and then the existing altcoins on the market follow up, we have seen how they were all acting cool by adding DeFi as extension.  Grin Grin
On the contrary, I have my eyes on these Alts below and I bexpect them to perform greatly this year 2021.
  • DIA
  • Chain link
  • ETH
Please, the above shouldn't be taken as financial advice, it's just my opinion as I may not invest in them.
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you trust social media influencers on cryptocurrencies. on: January 01, 2021, 04:07:03 PM
Half of social media influencers are shillers, that's the fact.
They most of the time hid behind bitcoin and stylishly promote other altcoins which they hold bags and when this market pump, they sold and leave you hanging with loss.
Telegram crypto signals aren't excluded, I make sure I look at their content as educational and not Financially.
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experience As A Bounty Hunter on: January 01, 2021, 04:03:59 PM
Do you know what kill bounty hunters sometimes? There expectations are very vert much sometimes that's why it's always disappointing at the end and too much expectations brings disappointment sometimes.
Ones a project create a thread on bounty board, the next thing I try to do is to do my own reserch before I proceed 2ith any promotion. I have also made up my mind not to participate any project that's coordinated by newbie except for copper members. High rank members never disappoint most of the time

575  Economy / Economics / Re: This is why bitcoin HAS to go up on: December 30, 2020, 11:24:02 PM
All this money printing will bring much more people in our industry. The more dollars printed the less dollars value
Are you also saying the more usdt printed, the more lower of coins we will likely see in the future. Usdt is minting thousands and millions without been by back by anything, fail audition and none has be done again for transparency. The day regulations body will want to to do something about this movement, the market wouldn't be funny including stable coin.
576  Economy / Economics / Re: All people in the real world still think everything is fine !!! on: December 30, 2020, 11:18:15 PM
Exposure brings us to light, that's what bitcoin has done. This is why we are pretty different from the rest of the people in the outside world.
We once never knew about bitcoin but the recent development on decentralisation and crypto is an eye-opening for you and me that's we always see the wrongs earlier from ordinary people. If bitcoin could survive with just a decade to attain these prices, there is more exposure to experience.
577  Economy / Economics / Re: Why criminals prefer cash (Fiat) on top of crypto? on: December 30, 2020, 11:13:55 PM
I do not believe in the complete anonymity of any transactions on the Internet. You give cash in your own hands and it is not recorded anywhere, while little is known about cryptocurrencies, although everyone claims to be anonymous. In fact, only the creator of the token knows about the real state of affairs.

Even as you don't believe in complete privacy crypto offer, I am very certain criminals always have a way of selling their coins and cash out fiat without worries. Thus is why regulation bodies are still against the use of montero because that sh*t is so anonymous and used most of the time in dark webs.
There are instances that these criminals sells the complete wallet that contain priva6keys to this coins they receive from innocent people and conbert them at discount to receive monero.

579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there real initiatives to fight scam in crypto?? on: December 29, 2020, 10:01:03 PM
If look back when I joined cryptocurrency, then still an enthusiast who loves how Bitcoin pump back then, I 2as so amazed and new about the whole system.
I thought the system was very friendly to Noobs without proper knowledge, that's how I lost $450 to Telegram bitcoin miners as they called their self.
The second loss was when I made a trade without an escrow, the scammer vanished with my hard earned money. I hope this system can have a better way to guide Noobs into the system without been scam. It's has reducbut its scary.
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bankera..3 years after ICO...a money grab ICO??? on: December 29, 2020, 09:52:57 PM
Just the way we had some stupid team behind the FAMOUS HETACHAIN we had in the past, they announced that they raise about  millions and wanted doing public sales, only for the project to give unnecessary excuses few days to sales and disappeared to thin air, one need to be careful in this atmosphere.
The system has improved over time but one need to be extra careful when dealing with this projects.
